QR코드를 이용한 종이지도의 활용도 증대방안 연구 - 종이지도용 QR코드 사용의사 및 정보제공 수요 조사를 중심으로 - (A Study on Making Better Use of the Paper Map with QR codes - Focused on the Survey about Intending to Use and Providing Information -)

  • 본 연구는 종이지도에 대한 다양한 정보수요를 충족하고 종이지도의 활용을 활성화하기 위해 QR코드를 활용하는 방안을 살펴보았다. 종이지도에 QR코드를 부착하여 추가정보를 제공한다면 이를 활용할 의사가 있는지와 이를 결정하는 요인을 탐색하기 위하여 의사결정나무분석을 실시하였다. 또한 QR코드를 통해 제공받고 싶은 추가정보를 도출하기 위하여 정보제공 분야와 분야별 추가정보 수요에 대해 조사하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 종이지도용 QR코드 사용의사를 결정하는 예측요인은 종이지도 사용빈도, 종이지도 사용경험, QR코드 사용경험, 종이지도 구입의사, 종이지도 구입경험 등으로 나타났다. 종이지도용 QR코드의 사용의사를 가장 잘 변별해 주는 요인은 종이지도의 사용빈도였다. QR코드를 통해 종이정보에 추가로 정보를 제공할 분야는 여행 레저분야의 수요가 가장 높았다. 또한 일상생활, 부동산, 교육, 여행 레저, 엔터테인먼트 등 세부분야별로 다양한 정보수요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 QR코드를 도입하여 종이지도의 활용을 활성화하기 위한 방안을 모색하고, 종이지도용 QR코드와 관련 어플리케이션을 개발하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, power supply-demand instability due to the dramatic increase in power usage suchas air-conditioning load at summertime has brought forecasts of decrease in power supply capability. Therefore improving the load factor through systematic load management, in other words, Direct Load Control became necessary. Direct Load Control(DLC) system is kind of a load management program for stabilization of electric power supply-demand. It's purpose is limiting the demand of the demand side selected at peak load or other time periods. The paper presented a Design of Direct Load Controller for control the amount of power demand in demand side. The proposed Controller is cheaper and has ability of storing more power data than pre-existing device.

농업정보이용 실태 및 과제 (Demand for Agricultural Information;Situation and Implication)

  • This study examines the demand for agricultural information at farm level, using Probit and Logit models. 646 farmers are surveyed with a questionnaire to attain the data and 441 of them have responded. The demand functions for computers, agricultural softwares, and agricultural databases at from level have been derived and used to project the demand for agricultural information in year $2001{\sim}2004$. Results find that only 5.89% of farmers have PCs at farm and rarely use the agricultural databases and softwares in 1994. The low demand figures are mostly due to the difficulty of using the PCs, databases, and softwares. The demand figures will increase in early 2000`s with 15.46% of farmers having PCs. User Friendly developed softwares and databases, and education for using agricultural information are necessary to increase the demand figures.

  • The recent summer power peak crisis has been caused by excessive use of cooling loads at daily peak time in summer. The yearly load shape of KEPCO has gradually became very steep valley. Under this situation, more efficient DSM(Demand Side Management) tools are fully required for summer peak clipping and shaving. In this paper, the KEPCO's Jeju-Do model project for DSM, especially for Demand Controller, is presented. Demand Controller was evaluated to have the very high economical efficiency against the investment in equipment, as compared with another DSM tools. There were some serious problem to apply Demand Controller to many customers in the aspect to synchronization with KEPCO's watthour meter. But these problems have solved by Keyin's new Demand Controller using vision algorithm.

Who Uses Travel Websites? A Comparison of Demand Across Websites

  • Understanding demand for travel websites can help hoteliers better evaluate their own multi-channel distribution and reputation management strategies. In this study, we estimated demand for eight major travel websites based on the user percentage in 3,120 U.S. counties. Results highlighted the importance of four types of factors: sociodemographic, economic, Internet use-related, and travel-related. Differences between websites were also compared based on estimated coefficients. For example, the demand for Expedia.com appeared to be driven by age, education background, income, and foreign travel history, whereas the demand for Hotels.com was driven by the proportion of the African American population and domestic travel history. Lastly, implications are provided.

  • Small and medium-sized local airports have suffered from chronic operating deficits due to many factors except for large airports in Incheon, Gimpo, Jeju and Gimhae. These small and medium-sized local airports have currently been degraded to inefficient airports handling the significantly lower airline demand than their carrying capacities. In this context, this study conducted a survey on the actual conditions of the airline demand in small and medium-sized local airports for the last 10 years after the opening of the Korea Train eXpress and investigated the causes and actual conditions of an increase and a decrease in the airline demand. In addition, it analyzed the functionality, convenience and economic feasibility, competition elements in comparison with other means of transportation, and the actual competitive conditions of local airports. It investigated facility improvements through a field visit for local airports and analyzed the performance rate of passenger demands and the use rate of terminal facilities according to a change in the airline demand. This study aimed to provide basic data in the architectural planning field, needed to establish a plan for the airport revitalization of local airports with the results of an analysis on the actual conditions of small and medium-sized local airports.

시계열 분석을 통한 고속도로 통행수요함수의 추정 (An Estimation for Highway Trip Demand Functions Based upon Time Series Analysis)

  • 고속도로 통행수요함수를 추정하기 위하여 시계열자료를 이용하여 회귀분석을 시도하였다. 기존의 연구들이 시계열자료를 이용하여 통행수요함수를 추정함에도 시계열자료의 특성을 고려하지 않았다는 점에서 한계가 있었는데 본 연구에서는 이를 고려한 모형을 제시하였다. 고속도로 통행수요에 영향을 미치는 다양한 물리적 및 사회 경제적 변수를 선택하여 통행수요함수 추정을 시도하였다. 이를 위해 개별 변수들에 대해 단위근 검정을 하였고 공적분 검정을 시도하여 개별 변수들간의 관계를 고찰하였다. 그리하여 벡터오차수정모형을 이용하여 고속도로 통행수요함수를 추정하였는데 실질 GDP가 증가하면 고속도로 이용대수가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 실질 통행료가 증가하면 고속도로 이용대수가 감소하는 것으로 나타나서 일반적인 예측과 일치하였다.

Impact of Electric Vehicle Penetration-Based Charging Demand on Load Profile

  • This paper presents a study the change of the load profile on the power system by the charging impact of electric vehicles (EVs) in 2020. The impact of charging EVs on the load demand is determined not only by the number of EVs in usage pattern, but also by the number of EVs being charged at once. The charging load is determined on an hourly basis using the number of the EVs based on different scenarios considering battery size, model, the use of vehicles, charging at home or work, and the method of charging, which is either fast or slow. Focusing on the impact of future load profile in Korea with EVs reaching up 10 and 20 percentage, increased power demand by EVs charging is analyzed. Also, this paper analyzes the impact of a time-of-use (TOU) tariff system on the charging of EVs in Korea. The results demonstrate how the penetration of EVs increases the load profile and decreases charging demand by TOU tariff system on the future power system.

제주도 권역별 농업용수 수요량 산정에 대한 고찰 (Estimation of Regional Agricultural Water Demand over the Jeju Island)

  • Over 96.2% of the agricultural water in Jeju Island is obtained from groundwater and there are quite distinct characteristics of agricultural water demand/supply spatially because of regional and seasonal differences in cropping system and rainfall amount. Land use for cultivating crops is expected to decrease 7.4% (4,215 ha) in 2020 compared to 2010, while market garden including various vegetable crop types having high water demand is increasing over the Island, especially western area having lower rainfall amount compared to southern area. On the other hand, land use for fruit including citrus and mandarin having low water demand is widely distributed over southern and northern part having higher rainfall amount. The agricultural water demand of $1,214{\times}10^3\;m^3/day$ in 2020 is estimated about 1.39 times compared to groundwater supply capacity of $874{\times}10^3\;m^3/day$ in 2010 with 42.4% of eastern, 103.1% of western, 61.9% of southern, and 77.0% of northern region. Moreover, net secured amount of agricultural groundwater would be expected to be much smaller due to regional disparity of water demand/supply, the lack of linkage system between the agricultural water supply facilities, and high percentage of private wells. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the total net secured amount of agricultural groundwater to overcome the expected regional discrepancy of water demand and supply by establishing policy alternative of regional water supply plan over the Island, including linkage system between wells, water tank enlargement, private wells maintenance and public wells development, and continuous enlargement of rainwater utilization facilities.
