This thesis is based on the study of formativeness and versatility of Sarong. For the aim of the research, Sarongs were classified into two types: rectangular and tube, using its original form as the basis. These two types of Sarongs were divided into more detailed groups depending on the purposes of attire, such as skirts, dresses, and capes. To look into the formativeness and versatility of Sarong, the usage of wear and expression methods were observed based on these categories. The following results were found regarding the versatility of Sarong: First, Sarong has a wide degree of versatility in terms of usage. It can be worn as a skirt, a head scarf, a dress, a cape, or used as a carrier or even a sleeping bag, based on one's intention. The change of usage is often accompanied with the change of forms, as can be shown by the longyi of Myanmar, the tube type Sarong, which is used as briefs. Second, Sarong has a wide degree of versatility in terms of function. Variations of instrumental and expressive function of Sarong are observed simultaneously. The physical function sometimes coincides with the changes of usage as mentioned above. The way that Sarong's are expressed in different social situations changes depending on the wearer's social status, religion, or origin. So by looking at the way a Sarong is worn, others can tell if a person is going to social events such as festivals and weddings. Third, Sarong has a wide degree of versatility in terms of design. However, even if same usage and function is pursued, the design can be different based on an individual. This is because the external change of Sarong is affected by individuality or aesthetic sense of the wearer.

Purpose - This study aimed to examine the influence of various factors on customer satisfaction and the continuance usage intention, based on the purchasing type of smart speaker users. Design/methodology/approach - Data was gathered through surveys, collecting responses from 180 smart speaker users in Korea. Structural equation modeling was utilized to analyze the data. Findings - Both perceived usefulness and perceived security were observed to have a significant positive impact on customer satisfaction across all user groups. Moreover, perceived ease of use and perceived versatility showed a significant positive effect on the continuance usage intention. Notably, for those who acquired the smart speakers for free, perceived usefulness had a positive impact on the continuance usage intention. Conversely, for those who made a paid purchase, perceived versatility played a significant role in driving customer satisfaction. Research implications or Originality - This research offers insights into the Korean smart speaker market, a unique environment where local competitors thrive in the absence of giants like Amazon and Google. It provides a nuanced view of customer reactions to these innovative devices. The study further distinguishes between high-involvement (paid purchase users) and low-involvement (free acquisition users) consumers, offering a more detailed understanding of user perspectives based on their acquisition mode.

This study is targeted on children's parks in Seogu, Daejeon with the goal of maximizing the usage and versatility of existing parks in the area by the survey and analysis of the general status of children's parks, land use near the parks, population, users, and traits of usage. For the purposes of this thesis this study has selected 65 of the children's parks in the Seogu District to monitor. It also focused on a number of these parks located in areas which underwent a lot of changes and needed an increase in usage and versatility. Based on the selection criteria, the four target parks, Wojeong, Meongwhack, Dosan and Wicdunjimi children's park were selected. The Survey shows that 55.9% of park visitors visited a park to 'rest and take a walk' and used 'main facilities' meaning resting facilities like pergola and benches. In the nighttime, the number of park visitors is so few because of safety problems. 50% of users were satisfied with parks. It shows that there are many respondents who want to recompose these parks as places for light exercise, resting, meeting, and as community symbols. Generally, these target parks don't reach their full potential and they also do not play their proper roles because they are hampered by the constriction of the law. These stick to an outdated idea of what a park should be like without considering the actual and practical needs of city dwellers. When it comes to the remodeling and refurbishing of these parks we have to rethink the planning process so that these parks may be more versatile and practical in order to accommodate the radical changes of users and patterns of usage.

전자서명법 전면개정(2020. 12. 10, 시행)으로 시장에는 다양한 인증서가 출시되어 경쟁하고 있다. 치열한 경쟁하에서 대형 IT플랫폼 업체의 인증서 시장 점유율이 높아지고 있으며 결국에는 시장을 독식할 것으로 예측되기도 한다. 이에 소비자의 인증서 선택요인을 파악하고, 선택요인들 간에 중요도 차이는 어떠한지를 파악하는 것은 기업의 인증서 시장에 대한 전략 수립 및 제품 포지션이닝에 필수 요소이며, 정부의 인증서 정책 방향설정에 키포인트라 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 선행 논문 및 설문조사 등의 내역을 기반으로 소비자의 인증서 선택요인을 추출하였고, 추출된 선택요인을 기반으로 델파이조사를 통하여 4가지 선택요인(발급기관의 신뢰성, 프로그램 설치, 인증서 사용방법, 범용성(사용처))을 선별하였다. 선별된 선택요인으로 소비자 설문조사를 실시하여 컨조인트 분석결과, 발급기관의 신뢰성이 가장 중요한 효용가치로 나타났다. 다음 순으로 인증서 사용방법, 프로그램 설치, 범용성(사용처) 순으로 중요도가 나타났다.

The main attractant of portable multimedia player(PMP), is often their versatility : being able to load and play different formats of video, audio, digital images, and interactive media. In this paper, we investigate the factors influencing the usage the PMP, based on the extended version of the Technology Acceptance Model. Using the data collected from online survey, we show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived enjoyment are the major determinants for using PMP. Factors, including ubiquitousness, community, and image are shown to directly or indirectly determine the level of perceived usefulness and ease of uses. In addition, we classify PMP users into two groups, users seeking hedonic value and utilitarian value, and examine the differences in path coefficients. Properties of the causal paths, including standardized path coefficients, the significance of difference, in the hypothesized model, are also presented, so that we can investigate the relative influences of different dominants, demonstrating how two groups differ in their decision-making processes regarding the PMP usage.

Steel reinforced concrete is perhaps the most versatile and widely used construction material. The versatility is attributed to mouldability of concrete to any conceivable shape. The inherent property of cracking of concrete is the reason for its low tensile strength and hence the design approach of RCC sections in flexure adopts the cracked section theory where in concrete in tension zone is ignored. Means, modes and methods of exploitation of concrete strength by conceiving shapes other than rectangular whereby ineffective concrete in tension zone is reduced and incorporated in compression zone where it is effective needs consideration. Shape optimization of beams is attempted in this analytical investigation employing Sequential Unconstrained Minimization Technique (SUMT). The results clearly show that trapezoidal beams happen to be less costlier than their rectangular counterparts, their usage needs serious reconsideration by the designers.

The anterolateral thigh (ALT) flap has been extensively discussed in the literature as it allows for a wide variety and depth of tissues for complex wound coverage. Thanks to many cadaveric and angiographic studies of the subdermal plexus, it is to date ascertained that tailoring ALT thickness can be safely performed without compromising flap outcomes or causing additional morbidity. Recently, the authors applied and described a simpler, safer, and less time-consuming superthin ALT perforator (ALTP) free flap harvesting technique. The aim of this article is to show the versatility of the adipofascial flap harvested around the chosen perforators, which allowed us to safely expand the usage of ALTP superthin flaps.

본 연구는 클라우드 기반 공통협업플랫폼의 사용행동을 알아보고자 실증 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 클라우드 기반 플랫폼의 독립변수들로 유연성, 신뢰성, 범용성, 보안성, 상호작용을 선정하였으며, UTAUT이론을 활용하여 사용의도를 매개변수로 최종적으로 사용행동을 종속변수로 선정 하였다. 조절변수로는 회사유형을 활용하였다. 가설검증은 AMOS 23.0과 SPSS 23.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 클라우드 기반 공통협업플랫폼을 사용하는 사용자들을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 총 180부를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 신뢰성, 보안성, 상호작용은 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 유연성, 범용성은 사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 최종적으로 사용의도는 사용행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증이 되었다. 마지막으로 회사유형에 따른 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

유비쿼터스 시대와 더불어 스마트 시대라고 불릴 만큼 스마트 기기의 사용이 빠르게 확산됨과 동시에, 스마트 폰을 기반으로 하는 애플리케이션의 사용이 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 이는 스마트 폰이 갖고 있는 뛰어난 이동성과 편리성, 실시간성의 특징으로 많은 독자들이 독서용 애플리케이션의 활용에 주목하고 있기 때문에, 이에 따라 독자의 특성을 고려한 양질의 콘텐츠 즉 스마트 폰에서 실행되는 독서용 애플리케이션의 개발에 대한 필요성이 점점 부각되고 있다. 이러한 필요성에 발맞추어 독서용 애플리케이션의 수가 증가하고 있으나, 반면 그에 해당하는 양질의 분석은 전무한 상태이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재 개발된 독서용 애플리케이션을 중심으로 구성과 내용을 분석하여 보았다. 본 연구는 독서에 필요한 내용을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 애플리케이션을 개발하는데 기초 정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

A gas spring provides support force for lifting, positioning, lowering, and counterbalancing weights. It offers a wide range of reaction force with a flat force characteristic, simple mounting, compact size, speed controlled damping, and cushioned end motion. The most common usage is as a support on a horizontally hinged automotive tail gate. However, its versatility and ease of use has been applied in many other industrial applications ranging from office equipment to off-road vehicles. The cylinder of a gas spring is filled with compressed nitrogen gas, which is applied with equal pressure on both sides of the piston. The surface area of the rod side of the piston is smaller than the opposite side, producing a pushing force. The magnitude of the reaction force is determined by the cross-sectional area of the piston rod and the internal pressure inside the cylinder. The reaction force is influenced by many design parameters such as initial chamber volume, diameter ratio, etc. In this paper, we investigated the reaction force characteristics and carried out parameter sensitivity analysis for the design parameters of a gas spring.
