  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the behavioral patterns and furniture usage in An-Bang of apartment. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by 215 housewives who lives in Taegu by the size of floor space, 20-49 Pyong. The data were analyzed by using frequencies, percentage, mean, factor analyzing, χ²-test, cluster analyzing. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The major behavioral patterns in an-bang is sleeping, make-up. fitting, but can't be neglected family-gathered and guest meeting. 2. The patterns of furniture usage are grouped into four clusters and principle furniture arrangement is floor type. 3. Behavioral patterns and furniture usage related with factors.

User modeling based on fuzzy category and interest for web usage mining

  • Web usage mining is a research field for searching potentially useful and valuable information from web log file. Web log file is a simple list of pages that users refer. Therefore, it is not easy to analyze user's current interest field from web log file. This paper presents web usage mining method for finding users' current interest based on fuzzy categories. We consider not only how many times a user visits pages but also when he visits. We describe a user's current interest with a fuzzy interest degree to categories. Based on fuzzy categories and fuzzy interest degrees, we also propose a method to cluster users according to their interests for user modeling. For user clustering, we define a category vector space. Experiments show that our method properly reflects the time factor of users' web visiting as well as the users' visit number.

Determinants of Satisfaction in the Usage of Healthcare Information Systems by Hospital Workers in Hyderabad, India: Neural Network and SEM Approach

  • This study focuses on the adoption of Healthcare Information System (HIS) in India's healthcare services, which has led to an increased use of HIS software for managing patient information in hospitals. The study aims to evaluate the factors that influence hospital workers' satisfaction with HIS usage and its impact on their intention to continue in the use of HIS. Primary data was collected through a survey questionnaire from 265 hospital workers. A new framework was developed, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for analysis. Sensitivity analysis was also conducted on demographic data using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) approach. The results indicated that all hypotheses were significant (p < 0.05). Effort expectancy was the most significant factor influencing hospital workers' satisfaction (p < 0.01). Sensitivity analysis showed that education (Model-A) and experience in use of HIS (Model-B) were the most important factors. The study contributes by proposing a new theoretical framework and extending the previous research on HIS usage satisfaction. Overall, the study highlights the importance of easiness and usefulness in predicting HIS usage satisfaction.

국내 소비자들의 김치 소비 실태 연구 (A Survey on the Nationwide Customers' Usage of Kimchi Consumption)

  • In this study, Kimchi usage was examined by nationwide consumers. 1,000 consumers between 20~60 years olds from 15 cities/province based on an administrative district participated in this questionnaire, which were one-on one interviews from September 23th to October 14th, 2009. 76.1% of the customers prepared Kimchi by them self, 26.9% customers received Kimchi from relatives and, 13.1% purchase Kimchi from the market. In addition, the rate of preparing Kimchi by themselves increased with age(p<0.05). 4~6 cabbage heads(34.5%) was the most preferred quantity for preparing Kimchi at a time, which was followed by more than 10 heads(25.2%) and 2~3 heads(22.9%). Chinese cabbage Kimchi was the most preferred type for purchase. 49.1% of customers purchased Kimchi at the supermarket and warehouse market and the origin of the ingredients, taste and-, price of Kimchi were considered important factors. The satisfactory scores of selling Kimchi were variety 3.60, taste 3.11, freshness of main ingredient 3.10, hygiene 2.86, -appropriate salt usage 2.99 and-, the origin of ingredients 2.94. There were significant difference between gender in taste and hygiene of selling Kimchi (p<0.05). In conclusion, to provide more appropriate Kimchi based on changes in Kimchi usage and consumption patterns at home and in the community, new types of Kimchi should be developed.

스마트폰 이용 동기와 패션 브랜드 앱 내용이 패션 브랜드 앱 수용의도에 미치는 영향 (The effects of smart phone usage motive and fashion brand app factors upon the intention to accept fashion brand applications)

  • This study investigated the effects of smart phone usage motives and fashion brand app factors upon the intention to accept fashion brand applications. Data were collected from 250 female college students living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. 220 reliable data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, ANOVA,, Duncan test, paired t-test, chi-square analysis, regression. The results were as follows: Firstly, the 'information acquisition' and the'use of time' were considered to be the most important motive factors driving consumer's smart phone usage. Secondly, the motives underpinning smart phone user's intention to accept a fashion brand application were 'social relationships', 'entertainment', and 'information acquisition'. Thirdly, the frequently used factors during the usage of fashion brand application could be classified in order of frequency as follows: 'product information provision', 'store information provision', 'coordinated information provision', 'fashion information provision', 'entertainment provision', 'hobbies and life information provision', virtual wearing provision', 'SNS provision', and, 'events and coupons provision'. Fourthly, a factor analysis of these nine factors were classified into 'basic information type', and 'additional information type'. The influences of basic information type and the additional information type upon the intention to accept the fashion brand application showed the following significant result: The basic information type had a greater influence upon the intention to accept the fashion brand app.

계획된 행동이론을 적용한 명품 복제품의 사용과 재구매 행동에 관한 연구 (Consumption of Counterfeit Luxury Fashion Products Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • This study examines factors that influence consumer behavior regarding the usage intentions and repurchasing behavior of counterfeits. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior by Ajzen (1991), this study looks at the impact of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, as well as the moral norm of consumers about intentions to use and repurchase counterfeits. An online survey was conducted on males and females over the age of 20 with previous experiences of purchasing counterfeits; subsequently, 209 responses were collected and analyzed. The covariance structure model was used to analyze the data in order to measure the factors that influence the usage of counterfeits and repurchasing behavior. The results show that attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control have significantly positive effects on usage intentions, while moral norm has a significantly negative effect on usage intentions. Usage intentions also have a significantly positive effect on repurchasing behavior and confirmed that usage intentions functions as the mediator. The variables that influence usage intentions are attitude, perceived behavioral control, moral norm, and subjective norm, in descending order. Consumer attitudes towards counterfeits is a major factor that influences usage intentions. Therefore, ethical problems should be emphasized to encourage a negative attitude towards counterfeits. This study identifies an important aspect to show that usage intentions toward counterfeits, and not purchasing intentions, influences repurchasing behavior. Findings are significant in that they reveal the role of the moral norm variable added to the TPB model.

특급호텔 이용객의 경험가치가 이용만족과 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향관계 연구 (A Study on Effects of Experiential Value of Hotel users for 5 Star Hotels on Usage Satisfaction and Continuous Usage Intention)

  • 최근 소비과정의 경험적 가치를 추구하는 소비 트렌드를 보이며, 도심 특급호텔의 핵심고객으로 변모한 내국인들의 특급호텔 이용의 지속적인 성장세를 위해서 내국인 고객이 추구하는 경험가치의 요인에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 연구 결과, 특급호텔 내국인 이용객의 경험가치 중, 환상성 요인이 이용만족의 주요 선행요인으로 확인되어, 특급호텔은 내국인 이용객이 선호하는 다른 세계 경험, 색다른 경험, 수준 높은 경험과 같은 감성적 가치를 위해 특별한 컨셉과 분위기를 반영하는 것이 중요한 과제로 확인되었다. 그리고 이익성이 이용만족에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 선행요인으로 확인되어 경제적 효용에 대한 요구가 중요한 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 합리적 요금으로 충분한 혜택을 느낄 수 있는 가성비 좋은 상품개발의 필요성이 제기된다. 이용만족과 지속적 이용의도와의 관계에서 성별, 직업별 특성이 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 이용만족 고객 중 남성, 그리고 전문직과 자영업 직업을 가진 고객들이 여성 및 타 직업 고객들 대비하여 지속적 이용의도를 높게 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 이는 결국 경제력이 있는 고객이 특급호텔의 지속적 반복고객이 될 가능성이 높다는 결과로 나타나 우수소비계층을 집중으로 한 보다 차별화되고 특화된 상품개발, 서비스 및 분위기 연출 등의 마케팅 활동의 강화에 대한 필요성을 살펴볼 수 있었다.

농작업에 따른 78 kW급 농업용 트랙터 엔진 부하율 분석 (Analysis of Engine Load Factor for a 78 kW Class Agricultural Tractor According to Agricultural Operations)

  • The purpose of this study was to calculate and analyze the engine load factor of major agricultural operations using a 78 kW class agricultural tractor for estimating the emission of air pollutants and greenhouse. Engine load data were collected using controller area network (CAN) communication. Main agricultural operations were selected as plow tillage (PT), rotary tillage (RT), baler operation (BO), loader operation (LO), driving on soil (DS), and driving on concrete (DC). The engine power was calculated using the measured engine load data. A weight factor was applied to load factor for considering usage ratio according to agricultural operations. Weight factors for different agricultural operations were calculated to be 27.4%, 32.9%, 17.5%, 7.7%, 4.5%, and 10.0% for PT, RT, BO, LO, DS, and DC, respectively. As a result of the field test, load factors were 0.74, 0.93, 0.41, 0.23, 0.27, and 0.21 for PT, RT, BO, LO, DS, and DC, respectively. The engine load factor was the highest for RT. Finally, as a result of applying the weight factor for usage ratio of agricultural operations, the integrated engine load factor was estimated to be 0.63, which was about 1.31 times higher than the conventional applied load factor of 0.48. In future studies, we plan to analyze the engine load factor by considering various horsepower and working conditions of the tractor.

고객 확대를 위한 대학급식소 신설의 객관적 근거 모색 및 급식소 위치에 따른 마케팅 전략 수립 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Establishment of the Authority for Newly-formed Foodservice and the Marketing strategies for College Union Foodservice)

  • This study was designed to : (a) investigate the present situations of a college union foodservice and suggest authority on establishing new college foodservice, (b) estimate the service quality attributes as perceived by students, (c) identify the effecting factor to customer satisfaction, and (d) formulate the plans and marketing strategies for the increasing usage rate of the foodservice in the future. The questionnaire that developed by interviewing student were conducted with 305 male and female students, who were registered for daytime classes. A total of 284 were usable and data was analyzed by the SPSS(ver. 11.0) for the descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, t-test, and $x^2$. The decrease in the usage rate of college foodservice by the respondents were influenced most by the 'taste of meal' and next by the 'distance'. The service quality attributes of foodservice currently under operation were evaluated above the average only for the 'price' while evaluated generally to be in the lower level of the average or under for others. As the overall level of satisfaction with the college union foodservice, most of the respondents showed the 36% for the ‘dissatisfaction’ and dissatisfied at 54.4%. Two service quality dimensions,"food . sanitation . service" and "price and comfortable environment" were derived from factor analysis and the reasons for decreasing usage rate of the college foodservice both the nearly located group from college union foodservice(NG) and the far away located group from college union foodservie(FG) indicated the ‘poor taste’ and the 'far distance', and the 'evaluation of students' dining room showed a low rating for the factor of "food . sanitation . service". "food . sanitation . service" was analyzed to have more influence to the overall customer satisfaction.

간호정보역량 측정도구의 타당도 및 신뢰도 (Validity and Reliability of Informatics Competencies for Nurses Among Korean Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to validate the scale of Informatics Competencies for Nurses developed by Staggers, Gassert & Curran(2001) among Korean nurses. Methods: The subjects of this study were 58 RN-BSN students and 314 nurses in Busan, Ulsan and Kyoungnam province. Data were collected by questionnaires from June to August, 2006 and from October, 2006 to August, 2007 and were analyzed by Principal Component Analysis for construct validity and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient for reliability. Results: A factor analysis was conducted and 30 items that had a factor loading more than .40 were extracted. The explained variance from 5 factors was 55.33% of the total variance. The factors were named 'basic computer usage', 'medical informatics-related software usage', 'computer related information management', 'perception of informatics', and 'information search using internet'. The first factor consisted 10 items which explained 29.89% of the total variance and the second factor contained 7 items. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient was .91 among the 30 items. Conclusion: This scale, Informatics Competencies for Nurses, was proved as a proper instrument to apply to Korean nurses.
