충돌유형별 회전교차로 사고모형 개발 (Development of Accident Models by Collision Type at Roundabout)

  • This study deals with traffic accident of roundabout by collision type. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular attention to developing the appropriate models using Tobit model. The main results are as follows. First, three Tobit models (by collision type) which are statistically significant(their $R^2$ values are 0.858, 0.918 and 0.859) are developed. Second, t-test results show that there are no differences between the predicted and actual values. Finally, such the common variable as traffic volume, and such the specific variables as diameter of central island, the number of circulatory roadway, approach width and average of the number of approach are adopted in this study.

  • 홍수 피해는 인간에게 영향을 미치는 가장 중요하고 영향력 있는 자연재해 가운데 하나이다. 도시지역에서 국지적인 호우가 배수시스템의 용량을 초과할 경우 홍수피해가 발생된다. 도시지역에서 발생한 홍수는 도시산업과 교통 시스템을 마비시키며, 공공시설물에 막대한 피해를 야기시키다. 도시지역에서 이러한 피해를 줄이기 위해서는 도시지역의 복잡한 지형과 인위적인 배수시스템을 동시에 고려하기에 적합한 모형이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 도시홍수의 침수범위, 침수심과 같은 홍수특성을 모의하기 위한 비정형격자기반 도시침수해석모형을 개발하였고, 이를 배수 시스템과 연계하였다. 본 연구를 통해 홍수 위험지역을 계산하고, 홍수대비지도를 만드는데 활용될 수 있다. 또한, 홍수담당기관의 의사지원시스템의 한 부분으로 활용되어 침수경감대책수립에 이용될 수 있다.

도시도로 녹지의 도로 표면온도 져감 효과에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Urban Road Vegetation on a Decrease of Road Surface Temperature)

  • 도시의 온도상승의 주요 인자 중 하나가 도시부 도로이다. 본 연구의 목적은 도시도로 녹지가 표면온도의 저감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시 도로 18개 지점을 선정하여 도로횡단구성요소(주변토지이용, 차도, 보도, 식수대, 중앙분리대)별로 열화상 카메라로 표면온도를 조사하고, 도시도로 녹지 면적을 측정하였다. 도시도로 녹지의 도로 표면온도 저감에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 도로 주변토지이용이 녹지 및 오픈스페이스일 경우 도로온도에 미치는 영향이 가장 크며, 식생중앙분리대의 면적, 식수대의 면적 순으로 표면온도를 저감시키는 것으로 나타났다. 도로주변 뿐만 아니라 도로설계의 구성요소 내에서 식수대, 중앙분리대 등의 녹지면적 증가는 도로의 표변온도 저감에 영향을 미친다. 도시의 고온화현상을 완화하기 위하여 도시도로 녹지 면적을 증가시키는 것도 한 방편이다.

가산자료 모형을 이용한 국내 원형교차로 유형별 교통사고 분석 (Analysis of Traffic Accident by Circular Intersection Type in Korea Using Count Data Model)

  • This study aims to develop the traffic accident models by circular intersection type using count data model. The number of accident, the number of fatal and injured persons(FSI), and EPDO are calculated from the traffic accident data of TAAS. The circular intersection accident models are developed through Poisson and negative binomial regression analysis. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the null hypotheses that there are differences in the number of traffic accidents, FSI and EPDO by type of circular intersections are rejected. Second, the scale of intersection(median, large), number of approach road, mean width and length of exit road, area of the circulating roadway and central island are selected as factors influencing the number of traffic accidents, FSI and EPDO in rotary. Third, the scale of intersection(median), guide signs(limited speed, direction, roundabout), number of approach road, entry angle, area of the intersection and central island are adopted as factors influencing the number of traffic accidents, FSI and EPDO in roundabout. Finally, transferring from rotary to roundabout could be expected to make the accident decrease.

粒子狀 物質中 金屬成分의 密度分布 (Density Distributions of Metallic Compounds in Particulate Matters)

  • For identification and apportionment of sources emitting particulate matters in environment, the multi-elemental characterization of size-density fractionated particulate matters was carried out. Eight types of samples were tested; soil, flyash released from burning of bunker-Coil, diesel oil, coal, and soft coal, urban road-way dust, urban dust fall, and airborne particulate matter. The fractions of particulate matters obtained by heavy liquid separation methos with a series of dichloromethane-bromoform were then analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometry for Ni, Cr, Cu, An, Fe, Al, and Mg. Each sample showed a different concentration profile as a function of density, and a number of useful conclusions concerning characterization of elemental distribution were obtained. From the density distributions of elements in soil, the maximum value was found for all elements in the density range of 2.2 $\sim 2.9g.cm^{-3}$, including the density of $SiO_2$. However, the distribution of metallic compounds with the density lower than $2.2g.cm^{-3}$ was prevalent in urban roadway dust, urban dust fall, and airborne particulate matter. And the density distribution curves of these urban dusts also have the higher distribution at the density of 2.2 - 2.9g.cm^{-3}$, including the density of wind-blown silica. This tendency generally was prevalent in the natural source elements, such as Al, Fe, Mn, and Mg. The maximum values were found in the density ranges of 1.3 $\sim 2.2g.cm^{-3}$ from the density distribution of elements in oil fired flyash. These distributions of anthropogenic source elements, such as Zn, Ni, Cu, and Cr were higher predominately than those of natural source elements. And the higher distribution was found in the density range of $2.2 \sim 2.9g.cm^{-3}$ from the density distribution of elements in coal and soft-coal fired flyash. These distributions showed similar patterns to soil. But anthropogenic source elements somewhat predominated at the density ranges of $1.3 \sim 2.2g.cm{-3} and 2.9g.cm^{-3}$ to soil. Therefore the higher distribution of anthropogenic source elements in the density ranges of $1.3 \sim 2.2g.cm^{-3} and 2.9g.cm^{-3}$ was considered as anthropogenic origin.

교통특성에 따른 도시간선도로 위계분류법 (Classification of Urban Arterial Roads Based on Traffic Characteristics)

  • 국도의 분류에 대한 연구는 계속되어왔으나 도시간선도로의 분류에 대한 연구는 미진한 편이다. 교통량의 증가로 도시간선도로는 간선도로로서의 역할을 제대로 수행하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교통특성변수를 사용한 군집분석을 이용하여 도시간선도로의 기능을 정립하였다. 서울시내 55개의 간선도로의 기능을 정립하기 위해 교통량, 주말계수, 속도 계수 등 교통특성을 사용하였다. 본 논문의 결과와 AADT를 사용한 방법의 결과를 비교하였는데 AADT를 사용한 방법은 전체 차선의 교통량에 의해 특성을 분류하였으나 본 논문에서 실제 교통량을 반영한 차선당 교통량을 주요 변수로 사용하여 결과를 도출하였다. 또한 서울시 간선도로 기능분류와 본 논문의 결과를 비교하여 교통특성이 반영되었음을 증명하였다. 결과적으로 본 논문에서 제시한 방법은 현재 간선도로 기능분류 방법보다 교통특성을 나타내는데 효과적이며 기능분류체계는 도로확장 및 계획 설계에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다.

도시하천의 부분복개화에 의한 하천수리특성치의 변화 (Changes of Fluvial Hydraulic Characteristics due to the Semi-Convering Work of Urban Stream)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the optimal methodology estimating the changes of fluvial hydraulic characteristics due to semi-covering work of urban stream. First, after collecting the data of the daily maximum rainfall of Chungju gaging station, the frequency analysis was carried out with frequency factor method, which includes normal, two-parameter and three-parameter lognormal, Gumbel-Chow, pearson type III, log-pearson type III distribution, and the goodness of fit test was executed by $x^2$-test and Kormogorov-Smimov test. Using the SCS method, the effective rainfall was estimated and the peak flow was calculated by the area-routing method. The HEC-2 model was applied to calculate water surface profiles for steady, gradually varied flow at Kyohyun river system in Chungju city. The model was applied to floodplain and riverbed management to evaluate flood way encroachments and to delineate flood hazard by riverside roadway construction. The model also was used to evaluate effects on water surface profiles of river improvement and levees as well as the presence of bridges or other hydraulic structures in the floodplain.

가변 차로를 효율적으로 통제하기 위한 하이브리드 추론 시스템 (A Hybrid Inference System for Efficiently Controlling Reversible Lane)

  • 교차로에서 가변차선은 이동하는 차량들을 효율적으로 통제하고 교통 혼잡을 줄일 수 있으며 도로의 가용 능력을 증가시키기 위한 도구로 사용되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 가변차선의 교통통제는 단순하며 수동으로 가변차로를 운용하고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 가변차로의 이동방향에 대한 변경 여부를 지능적으로 판단하여 교통 흐름을 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 3단계 방법을 제안한다. 첫 번째는 교차로에서 차량이 이동하는 방향으로 효율성을 판단하기 위한 방법으로 퍼지추론 방법, 두 번째는 이동방향으로 가변차로를 변경할 지에 대한 잠정 판단, 세 번째는 이러한 잠정판단을 최종결정하기 위한 판단기준을 제시한다. 이동방향으로의 효율성은 matlab 프로그램을 이용하여 얻는다.

회전 및 진입 차로 수에 따른 학교와 인접한 회전교차로 보행자 사고모형 (Pedestrian Accident Models of Roundabout Near Schools by the Number of Entry and Circulatory Lane)

  • This study deals with the safety of roundabout. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the pedestrian accidents of roundabout near schools. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular attentions to comparatively analyzing the pedestrian accident by number of entry and circulatory lane. The traffic accident data from 2013 to 2015 are collected from TAAS data set of Road Traffic Authority. To develop the pedestrian accident model, the Poisson and negative binomial models has been utilized in this study. Such the dependent variable as the number of pedestrian accidents and the 24 independent variables as geometry, traffic volume and others are used. The main results are as follows. First, 3 Poisson and 2 negative binomial models(${\rho}^2$ of 0.153~0.426) which are all statistically significant are developed. Second, the common variable of models based on the number of circulatory roadway lane is analyzed to be the entry lane width and that of the number of entry lane is evaluated to be the design speed. Also specific variables are evaluated to splitter island, roundabout sign, number of approach road, bus stop and elementary school. Finally, the design speed might be expected to decrease the number of pedestrian accidents near schools.

대구 약령시 지구 내 가로 체계의 공간구문 분석 (Space Syntax Analysis on Street System in Yakryeong Market District in Daegu, Korea)

  • This study examines the properties of spaces where historical and cultural resources have been preserved in the street system of Daegu Yakryeong market district, by using Space Syntax methodology. The results were obtained through ASA(Angular Segment Analysis) on each node (spatial unit) in the street network. An overall characteristic of spatial configuration in street system of the surveyed district is that nodes in the street network tend to form socially integrated spatial structure to allow easy access to each space in the system. There are a small number of socially isolated spaces in the street system, which are located at nodes in narrow streets adjacent to the roadway outside the district, or in narrow alleys between early modern Korean buildings. More than half of the surveyed spaces have high levels of social integration, which contain buildings playing a central role of the community, a traditional street market, symbolic landmarks. In conclusion, it is expected that the achievements of this study will contribute in leading to rational land use planning for sound and sustainable development of historical and cultural resources in an urban district.
