  • The objective of this study is developing urban farm management system based on USN for remote monitoring and control. This system makes it easy to manage urban farm and make the database of collected information for to build the best environment for growing crops. For this, we build a green house and installed several types of sensors and camera through which the remote sensing information collected. In addition, building a web page for user convenience and information in real time to enable control. We confirmed experimentally all functions related to stability for a long period of time through field tests such as collection and transfer of information, environmental control in green house. It will be convenient for farmers to grow crops by providing the time and space constraints and a lot of flexibility. In addition, factory, office, home like environment, including facilities for it will be possible to extend.

  • This study aims to identify the Spatial Changes and the main agent of space creation in Samrye Area during the Japanese Occupation Period. As for the urban space in the Samrye area, the urban space was expanded to the Hujeong-ri area from the construction of the Jeonbuk light railway. Before 1914, the urban space of Samrye was formed around Samrye Station in Samrye-ri, which oversees Samrye-do from the Goryeo Dynasty to the Joseon Dynasty, but when Samrye Station of Jeonbuk light railway was established in Hujeong-ri in 1914, the foundation of a ladder-type street network visible from the central space of the current Samrye area was formed until the 1930s. And it was the Japanese and Korean landowners who took the lead in the construction of the Jeonbuk light railway, not the government, who expanded the urban space of Samnye from Samrye-ri to Hujeong-ri. The background of the establishment of Jeonbuk light railway is the reason why Dongsan Farm has difficulty in transporting rice to the Honam Line during the rice harvest. At that time, Park Ki-soon, famous as the land king, took charge of the established chairman of the railroad installation and established it, and with the establishment of Samrye Station, the access road was connected to his farm. In addition, a new road was built on the farm land that owned the Hujeong-ri area to the Seoul-Mokpo Interroad in Samrye-ri, thereby expanding the urban space. In other words, unlike Gunsan and Iksan, which were built under the leadership of the Japanese colonial eran government, the urban space in Samrye area was expanded by a farmer who grew up as a large landowner based on agriculture, which was the economic base at the time.

To carry out this study, field studies and personal interviews have been made on the living mode and using realities in the unit spaces of the rural apartment houses. The houses surveyed are the rural apartments in Chungbuk Province which were built by the public program to improve old farm houses. The results are as follows. The living modes .in the unit spaces of the rural apartments are very similar to those of the urban apartment houses. But compared with the urban indoor-living modes, the rural life is keeping more of the traditional sitting way-of-living. The rural experience has recently been transformed into a software dimension such as programs and participation activities in the past. In addition, public awareness also positively evaluates agriculture and rural communities as the basis for supporting society and recognition of multiple functions. Furthermore, the intention of the citizen to the earnest village is increasing. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of rural experience and customer satisfaction of urban residents on the recognition of return to farm and rural areas. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the characteristics of rural experience had a positive effect on the farming villages by the program, the experience field and the host, and the customer satisfaction had a positive effect on the farming villages. Therefore, it is considered that a systematic approach to the rural experience is needed in the future because the experience of the rural people in the city has a positive effect on the earliest villages.

  • Modern agriculture is changing from resource-oriented agriculture to technology-oriented agriculture. Agriculture, which combines science and technology, is recognized as a new growth engine, and governments, local governments, research institutes, and industry are working together to develop and disseminate various devices necessary for smart farms to build intelligent smart farms. Recently, research is being conducted to build a more intelligent agricultural environment by building a cloud platform. In this paper, we propose a plan to build an urban energy - independent smart farm that can utilize leisure time and agricultural activities by utilizing the rooftop of a city. Also, by using IT technology, various data of smart farm can be managed on remote server, and HMI module for controlling internal environment of smart farm can be developed to manage smart farm automatically or semi-automatically. The service model suggests a model that can manage the internal environment of the smart farm based on mobile.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the patterns of farming materials required for creating and operating elementary school vegetable gardens and to propose a plan for vitalizing business related to urban agriculture. As a result of the survey, the farming materials purchased most for the operation of the school gardens were seeds materials focused on seedlings, compost/fertilizer, and farming tools focused on trowels, sprinklers, and hoes. Purchases of farming materials were made mostly through the internet, while most purchases of seedlings were made in pesticide stores. Therefore, it is necessary to provide information and education related to the use of farming materials. Thus, establishment and maintenance of highly accessible and reliable internet sources are recommended to provide the lists of farm products necessary as well as related information to help users in purchase and use in order to create and operate the school garden. In order to supply high-quality seedlings, it is necessary to provide information and education on the kinds of seedlings, management, cultivation, delivery methods, and the like, focusing on pesticide stores producing and distributing seedlings. Providing such information for participants will improve their satisfaction. Also, if businesses related to urban agriculture use these study results in producing, preparing, managing and selling seedlings and farming materials, they will also be able to generate profits and vitalize urban agriculture.
