성인여성용 브래지어원형 개발 연구(제1보) -75A 치수를 중심으로- (A Study on the Development of Basic Brassiere Pattern for Adult Women -focusing on size 75A-)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the basic patterns of adult womens brassiere therewith, provide for some basic data useful to the brassiere manufacturing which are both functional and fitting. For this purpose, 220 adults women(aged between 20 and 59) were sampled to be measured for their body sizes and tested for their brassiere wearing. The collected data were statistically processed using the SAS 6.12 for Means, Standard Deviation, etc. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. In order to develop the basic patterns of adult womens brassieres, 75A size was selected out of 12 size combination(3 women per 75A size) and then, their brassiere fitting was tested. As a result, the fronts of the basic patterns were found to have such problems as undone front center, poor levelling of upper cups bottom line or lower cups top line, poor shape of upper cups outside top line and shoulder strip position. On the other hand, n the rear side of the basic patterns, the central part of the wing was slightly lifted, while the wing width and straps interval did not befit the full-cup brassiere. The result of this first brassiere fitting test showed that the functionality and aesthetics of the basic pattern brassieres were more or less satisfactory, and thus, the problems were address for the second test. In the second test, the aesthetics, breast-shaping effect and functionality of the basic pattern brassieres were much improved. 2. The basic patterns of adult womens brassieres were characterized by a round cup wired as well as a full cup embracing the entire breasts. Each basic pattern which consisted of upper and lower cups was shaped \"straight(-)\". The basic sizes adopted at the first design stage (see fig. 1-2) was 75A of which was designed as upper foundation basic pattern. At the second stage, the upper body foundation pattern were used to design lower cup, upper cup, front panel and wing in their order.(see fig. 3-5, fig. 8)5, fig. 8)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop grading method of the basic brassiere patterns therewith, provide for 12 size's brassiere patterns and prove fitness of their's and shape. The collected data were statistically processed using the SAS 6.12 for Means, Standard Deviation, etc. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. The basic sizes adopted at the first design stage (see fig.1-2) were 75AA, 75A and 75B each of which was designed as upper foundation basic pattern in reference to the cup size. At the second stage, each of the upper body foundation basic pattern was used to design lower cup, upper up, front panel and wing in their order(see fig.3-6). At the third stage, the other sizes were graded in reference to the three brassiere patterns (75AA, 75A and 75B) to produce 12 brassiere sizes(see Tab. 7-8). In order to develop the basic patterns of adult women's brassieres, 33 women were selected per 11 size combination(3 women per size combination), and then, their brassiere fitting was teated. As a result, the fronts of the basic patterns were found to have such problems as undone front center, poor levelling of upper cup's bottom line or lower cup's top line, poor shape of upper cup's outside top line and shoulder strip position. On the other hand, on the rear side of the basic patterns, the central part of the wing was slightly lifted, while the wing width and straps'interval did not befit the ful1-cup brassiere. The result of this first brassiere fitting test showed that the functionality and aesthetics of the basic pattern brassieres were more or less satisfactory, and thus, the problems were addressed for the second teat. In the second test, the aesthetics, breast-shaping effect and functionality of the basic pattern brassieres were much improved. 2. We were to present the final brassiere sizing system to extend the interior length of breast and the exterior length of breast on the basis of fitting test. Thereby, 75B$.$80A$.$80B$.$85A$.$85B's the interior lengths of breast were enlarged to 0.7cm, the rest size was enlarged to 0.5cm and the exterior length of breast was enlarged to 0.5cm regardless of sizes. 3. 거들 및 웨이스트니퍼 착용에 의한 의복압 평가 및 관련된 착용변인 (Clothing Pressure Evaluation of Girdle and Waist Nipper and Related Wearing Conditions)

  • 본 연구에서는 인체 상 하체에 대한 적정 의복압값과 평소 착용습관에 따른 주관적 압박감의 차이를 알아보기 위해 30-40대 중년여성을 대상으로 거들과 웨이스트 니퍼를 착용한 후 압력값과 주관적 압박감을 측정하였다. 또한 화운데이션 착용 시 주관적 압박감에 영향을 미치는 제반 요소(자세변화, 착용시간, 심호흡 등)에 대하여 알아보고자 의복압과 주관적 압박감를 측정하고 분석하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 적정 의복압의 평균 결과 거들은 $2.1{\pm}0.8$ kPa, 웨이스트 니퍼는 $1.5{\pm}0.8$ kPa로 하체의 적정 평균 의복압이 상체에 비하여 높게 나타났으며, 하체보다는 상체에서 평소 느슨하게 입을수록 압박 수준에 대한 민감도가 컸다. 화운데이션 착용습관 조사를 통해 느슨하게 입는 그룹을 'loosely', 조여입는 그룹을 'tightly'로 분류하여 압력값과 주관적 평가의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과 'loosely' 그룹에서 객관적 압력값과 주관적 평가 간에 또한 주관적 평가와 선호도 간에 상관계수가 더 높게 나타나 평소의 착용습관이 압박감각에 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 자세(선 자세, 앉은 자세)에 따른 압력값의 변화는 웨이스트 니퍼에서만 유의한 차이가 나타나(p=.001), 웨이스트 니퍼 설계 시 적정 의복압을 유지하기 위한 주의를 거들보다 더 기울여야 함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 시간이 지남에 따라 실제 압력값은 변화가 없었으나 주관적 압박감은 대체적으로 적응을 하여 장기간 착용 시 생리적으로 부정적 영향을 미쳐도 인식하지 못할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

미혼여성의 기본원형 및 등급법에 관한 연구 (II) (A Study on the Basic Bodice Pattern, Sizing and Grading Method for Misses)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a basic bodice pattern and establish standards regrading to the size and grading of Korean misses' measurements in order to provide modern data for the ready-to-wear garment industry. 222 girls, aged from 18 to 27, were measured on 19 items of their structure. Mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variance, maximum, minimum, range and correlation coefficient between each items were analized. The analysis revealed the following significant results. The fundamental difference data of the bodice pattern and grading measurements between the year of 1975 and 1981 were as follow. (1) The measurements of bust and center back were used as a foundation to establish a standard size and grading. (2) Ranges of the bust circumference measurements were increased. Thus the sizes ere classfied into 5 groups. (3) The ease of bust circumference was increased due to the increasement of shoulder width. (4) The increase of the upper arm resulted to lower the bust line. (5) The shoulder slopes were higher than 1975. Therefore, the basic measurements of the shoulder slopes were reduced. (6) In spite of the front neck measurements were not changed, the back measurements were requied to increase. (7) the center front length became much shorter in the contrast with the increase of the center back length.

A Study on Use of Anthropometric Data and 3D Body Scan Data at Apparel Industry

  • The 3D measurement data expected be useful to give appropriate garment fit and development of MTM(Made-to-Measure) CAD software. The researcher surveyed the need and use of national anthropometric data of the apparel industry. 17 Korean apparel manufacturers participated in the study. The need of anthropometric data at 5 different apparel business sectors was measured: men's suit, women's dress, casual-wear, underwear, and active sportswear. The result of the survey shows that height and bust, waist, hip circumferences are needed by all of the business sectors. The body measurements at the scye and upper arm area were need most by the men's suit manufacturers. The women's foundation garment manufacturers were well prepared for the use of the 3D body scan data and they expected the potential benefits of 3D body scan data would be great. The researcher also conducted a case study and found a pro and con of the using 3D body scan data for apparel product developing process. In the current stage of technical advance, a reasonable method was required to get nude like scan data for the women's foundation garment manufacturer. The researcher concluded that the apparel designer could use the 3D scan data for developing tremendous style garment design and pattern making.

  • The paper presents a case study addressing the design and construction aspects for DCM(Deep Cement Mixing) method employed as the foundation of a caisson type breakwater with heavy weight(10,700 ton/EA) and a high design wave height($H_{1/3}$=8.7m). The DCM was designed for the project(Ulsan New Port North Breakwater Phase 1) by optimizing the pattern of DCM columns with a combination of short and long columns (i.e., block type(upper 3m)+wall type(lower)) and considering overlapped section between columns as a critical section against shear force where the coefficient of effective width of treated column($\alpha$) was estimated with caution. It was shown that the value can be 0.9 under the condition with the overlapped width of 30cm. In addition to that, a field trial test was performed after improving conventional DCM equipment (e.g., mixing blades, cement paste supplying pipes, multi auger motor, etc.) to establish a standardized DCM construction cycle (withdrawal rate of mixing blades) which can provide the prescribed strength. The result of the field strength test for cored DCM specimens shows that the averaged strength is larger than the target strength and the distribution of the strength(with a defect rate of 7%) also satisfies with the quality control normal distribution curve which allows defect rate of 15.9%.

Centrifuge modelling of rock-socketed drilled shafts under uplift load

  • Rock-socketed drilled shafts are widely used to transfer the heavy loads from the superstructure especially in mountainous area. Extensive research has been done on the behavior of rock-socketed drilled shafts under compressive load. However, little attention has been paid to uplift behavior of drilled shaft in rock, which govern the overall behavior of the foundation system. In this paper, a series of centrifuge tests have been performed to investigate the uplift response of rock-socketed drilled shafts. The pull-out tests of drilled shafts installed in layered rocks having various strengths were conducted. The load-displacement response, axial load distributions in the shaft and the unit skin friction distribution under pull-out loads were investigated. The effects of the strength of rock socket on the initial stiffness, ultimate capacity and mobilization of friction of the foundation, were also examined. The results indicated that characteristics of rock-socket has a significant influence on the uplift behavior of drilled shaft. Most of the applied uplift load were carried by socketed rock when the drilled shaft was installed in the sand over rock layer, whereas substantial load was carried by both upper and lower rock layers when the drilled shaft was completely socketed into layered rock. The pattern of mobilized shaft friction and point where the maximum unit shaft friction occurred were also found to be affected by the socket condition surrounding the drilled shaft.

  • An Epidemic disease is regarded as warm disease by Korean Medicine. Warm disease is highly contagious and shows an unfavorable condition, and that is characteristic of being widely prevalent. Warm disease study cope with this epidemic disease opportunely. In the Myeong[明] and Cheong[淸] Dynasty, warm disease study got into the region of Korean medicine of today and "The Sections of Warm Disease(溫病條辨)" contributed to the cause of the study was really great. "The Sections of Warm Disease" written by Ohguktong(吳鞠通) in the Cheong Dynasty are divided into the three sections of Upper burner[上焦], Middle burner[中焦] and Lower burner[下焦]. Ohguktong, dealing with the contents of Defense-aspect[衛分], Gi-aspect[氣分], Construction-aspect[營分], Blood-aspect[血分], and so forth in all "Sections of Warm Disease", made use of Seopcheonsa(葉天士)'s Defense Gi[衛氣], Construction, and Blood pattern identification with Triple burner[三焦] pattern identification and six channel pattern identification. And he, having a correct understanding of the nature of medicine, suggested in detail that the directions of medicine and described the processing according to method and the method to take medicine. To conclude, Ohguktong(吳鞠通) Tong in "The Sections of Warm Disease" not only formulated the system of the practical theory of warm disease but also solidified the foundation covering warm disease and its treatment as well, He established the new method of treatment and formula related to warm disease and made a definite distinction between cold damage[傷寒] and warm disease[溫病].

한국인과 몽골인의 주름 패턴분석 (Wrinkle Pattern in Korean and Mongolian Women Population)

  • 오늘날의 사회에서는 삶의 질 향상으로 실제 나이보다 젊어 보이며 이에 따라 노화방지에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 또한 같은 나이의 사람들과 비교했을 때 본인이 젊어 보이는지에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이 연구에서 우리는 외적 노화에 가장 주요한 영향을 주는 주름 지수를 구하고자 하였다. 전체 얼굴의 주름은 8개로 분할된 영역에 의해 점수화되었고, 실제 연령과 피부 파라미터 사이의 상관 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 대상자 206명(한국인 여성 105명, 몽골 여성 101명)을 대상으로 하였다. 대상자는 연령대별로 20대, 30대, 40대, 50대를 네 군으로 나누었다. 주름 패턴은 주름, 미간, 코뿌리, 눈꺼풀, 눈밑주름, 눈꼬리, 팔자주름, 입가 8개 부위의 주름을 평가하고 주름 점수에 따른 계산식을 개발 하였다. 또한 계산식에 의해 얻어진 주름지수와 연관성 있는 피부 특성 파라미터를 알아보고자 피부 탄력, 모공, 주름, 피지 분비를 측정하였다. 방정식을 적용하여 계산한 한국인의 경우 주름연령과 실제연령과의 차이는 없었다. 반면, 몽골인에서는 실제연령과 비교하여 9세가 더 나이 들어 보인다고 밝혀졌다. 얼굴 주름 나이와 피부 특성 파라미터 사이의 상관 관계는 양국에서 피부 탄력 > 모공 또는 눈꼬리 주름 > 피부 색 > 피지 분비 순으로 나타났다. 피부 탄력은 얼굴 주름 나이와 가장 관련이 있는 변수로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 한국과 몽골 여성의 연령별 피부 주름 패턴을 규명하였으며, 이 연구로부터 개발된 주름살 계산식을 향후 화장품의 효능 연구에서 얼굴 주름의 나이를 계산하는 도구로 사용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

몸과 소통에 관한 연구 (Study of Mutual Understanding and Human Body)

  • This study searched the philosophical and medical thought of mutual understanding and human body. Mutual understanding is a fundamental problem in all branches of oriental studies. In other words, mutual understanding becomes the existential foundation of heaven-earth-human(三才). So human beings, heaven and the earth can't exist if there is no mutual understanding. It comes out the problem of self-consciousness in philosophy, and qi movement pattern like upward, downward, inward and outward movement in traditional korean medicine. Human beings have mutual understandings with heaven and the earth from a macroscopic standpoint, on the other side the human body from a microscopic standpoint. Qi movement is the mutual understanding and response of qi in human body, so with which the physiological functions and pathologic changes of viscera and bowels comes out. Therefore we want to present how to complete qi movement between viscera-bowels and organs to examine mutual understandings in human body closely. The results was summarized as follows; First, upbearing the clear yang and down bearing the turbid yin of spleen-stomach is main pivot of upward and downward of qi movement, and it is true form of mutual understandings between viscera and bowels, so upward, downward, inward and outward movement of whole viscera and bowels can be controlled by spleen-stomach. Second, by restraining relationships between downward heart fire and upward kidney water, heart fire and kidney water have close communications physiologically and pathologically as upper-lower, yin-yang and water-fire. Third, by restraining relationships between upbearing and effusion of liver and purification and down-sending of lung, liver and lung are outer circles of upward and downward movement, so they have antagonistic functions. Firth, by the relationships between upbearing the clear and down bearing the turbid of spleen-stomach and free coursing of liver, free coursing of liver-gallbladder is the essential requirement that it certify transportation and transformation of spleen-earth, so the disease of liver-gallbladder induce spleen-stomach disease pattern to affect its function of transportation and transformation. Fifth, by spleen and kidney, spleen yang is based on kidney yang, so the weakness of kidney yang can affect the function of transportation and transformation of spleen-stomach as it can't warm spleen earth. Sixth, by homogeny of liver-kidney, essence and blood of liver-kidney and ministerial fire of liver-kidney have mutal generation and limitation physiologically and they mutually are affected in pathologically.
