  • The main idea behind the Intelligent Networks (IN) concept is the separation of switching functionality from the service control, in order to meet various service requirements of subscribers and development of new services in time. On the increase of subscriber and for high quality of service, the IN upgrades its service systems, and there are a number of ways depending on the system architecture and the characteristics of services. This paper compares two alternatives, traces the performance of them by means of the simulation technique, and finally puts a rule to select one of them.

  • A Computer Aided Design (CAD) program of robot application engineering has been developed for the efficient examination of HR8000 robot. For the Simulation of robot motion. direct and inverse kinematics of robot manipulator was analyzed and robot motion was visualized. The program could contribute to upgrade accuracy and to minimize the time for the robot application engineering.

  • Blasting method is used most engineering works for rock excavation. Blasting method is done much to upgrade of operation efficiency, contraction of construction period than other method. But blasting method happens damage by blasting vibration, nose and scattering. Therefore this study examined about effect, characteristic and application of Plasma method. To confirm effect measured vibration, noise and frequency, and analyzed data compare with general blasting.

  • Antenna Tracking System has been required core technology with special tracking algorithm, and it can be achieved by program tracking, step tracking, optracking, and monopulse tracking as well. Depend on tracking requirement we might be able to apply eligible tracking method in accordance with Geostationary and Inclined Orbit Satellite. Further, we should deeply consider two important factors in order to act up to customer expectation in quality and system performance including competitive price therefore we need maximized endeavor to upgrade not only tracking system performance, but reduction of product through engineering skill and R&D investment.

  • In many countries safety management on track worker have been carried out alter serious accidents and drastic safety improvement have been achieved as a result of safety management. In order to improve track worker safety in Korea, recent 5-year accident data were analysed and other countries' safety management systems were reviewed. As an result of this study 5-basic requirements for the safety improvement on track worker are derived: education, certification, clear responsibility definition, work planning and upgrade of train warning system.
