  • In university of Korea, the computerization of facility management is lower level than other management areas such as educational matters, administration, library, computing center, teaching assistance, and teaching methodology. So we need urgently the blueprint for an information-oriented and integrated facility management system. In this research, It is presented and implemented an FMS(Facility Management System) for efficient management of the ground and underground facilities on a campus. This studies is computerized the drawings, protocols, and ledgers. It is used a GIS(Geographic Information System) to get the geographical information of facilities. The data more efficiently could be search and update on this system. The decision making process understanding the present facility condition, and analyzing the condition of location could be performed easily by the GUI(Graphic User Interface) of the system.

  • In this paper, we propose a new Active Noise Filter Control System which operate as a control performance when a adaptive filter fault. In this system, half-fixed filter which is new filter, connected to parallel with adaptive filter. An adaptive filler use to continuous parameter estimating, but adaptive filter is fault, half-fixed filter update newly data which is continuous estimating date each during sampling period. We simulate and apply the proposed active noise filter system to in the cylinder type duct. Experimental results show that proposed Active Noise Filter Control System has better control performance than existing filter which Eriksson's or Parallel Filter System in term of noise reduction.

  • The rigorous requirements of modern spacecraft missions necessitate a precise attitude determination strategy. This paper mainly researches that, based on three space-borne attitude sensors: 3-axis rate gyros, 3-antenna GPS receiver and star-sensor. To obtain global attitude estimation after an information fusion process, a feedback-involved Federated Kalman Filter (FKF), consisting of two subsystem Kalman filters (Gyros/GPS and Gyros/Star-sensor), is established. In these filters, the state equation is implemented according to the spacecraft's kinematic attitude model, while the residual error models of GPS and star-sensor observed attitude are utilized, to establish two observation equations, respectively. Taking the sensors' different update rates into account, these two subsystem filters are conducted under a variable step size state prediction method. To improve the fault tolerant capacity of the attitude determination system, this paper designs malfunction warning factors, based on the principle of ${\chi}^2$ residual verification. Mathematical simulation indicates that the information fusion strategy overwhelms the disadvantages of each sensor, acquiring global attitude estimation with precision at a 2-arcsecs level. Although a subsystem encounters malfunction, FKF still reaches precise and stable accuracy. In this process, malfunction warning factors advice malfunctions correctly and effectively.

  • Purpose: This article provides an update and overview of a nursing research program focused on understanding the pathophysiology and management of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Methods: This review includes English language papers from the United States, Europe, and Asia (e.g., South Korea) from 1999 to 2013. We addressed IBS as a health problem, emerging etiologies, diagnostic and treatment approaches and the importance of a biopsychosocial model. Results: IBS is a chronic, functional gastrointestinal disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of abdominal pain and alterations in bowel habit (diarrhea, constipation, mixed). It is a condition for which adults, particularly women ages 20-45, seek health care services in both the United States and South Korea. Clinically, nurses play key roles in symptom prevention and management including designing and implementing approaches to enhance the patients' self-management strategies. Multiple mechanisms are believed to participate in the development and maintenance of IBS symptoms including autonomic nervous system dysregulation, intestinal inflammation, intestinal dysbiosis, dietary intolerances, alterations in emotion regulation, heightened visceral pain sensitivity, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal dysregulation, and dysmotility. Because IBS tends to occur in families, genetic factors may also contribute to the pathophysiology. Patients with IBS often report a number of co-morbid disorders and/or symptoms including poor sleep. Conclusion: The key to planning effective management strategies is to understand the heterogeneity of this disorder. Interventions for IBS include non-pharmacological strategies such as cognitive behavior therapy, relaxation strategies, and exclusion diets.

  • In personal communication systems location management of mobile terminals is required to connect incoming calls to the mobile terminals. Investigation of effective location update and paging strategies is important to reduce the cost of location management. In this study, we propose a paging strategy considering the mobile terminals' residence patterns. The first paging area is characterized by the set of cells in the location area where mobile terminals usually stay for a significant period of time. The rest of cells in the location area are included into the second paging area. To reduce the paging cost the first paging area is decided by reflecting various residence patterns of mobile terminals. For an incoming call, the sequential paging is performed in the order of the paging area. Thus the paging cost is greatly reduced, especially when the called mobile terminal is located in the first paging area. The proposed strategy is expected to be more effective than an existing strategy that uses the anchor cell in the location area.

  • In this paper, the structural health monitoring (SHM) benchmark problem of the Canton tower is studied. Based on the field monitoring data from the 20 accelerometers deployed on the tower, some modal frequencies and mode shapes at measured degrees of freedom of the tower are identified. Then, these identified incomplete modal data are used to update the reduced finite element (FE) model of the tower by a novel algorithm. The proposed algorithm avoids the problem of subjective selection of updated parameters and directly updates model stiffness matrix without model reduction or modal expansion approach. Only the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the normal finite element models corresponding to the measured modes are needed in the computation procedures. The updated model not only possesses the measured modal frequencies and mode shapes but also preserves the modal frequencies and modes shapes in their normal values for the unobserved modes. Updating results including the natural frequencies and mode shapes are compared with the experimental ones to evaluate the proposed algorithm. Also, dynamic responses estimated from the updated FE model using remote senor locations are compared with the measurement ones to validate the convergence of the updated model.

  • Security support is a significant factor in ad hoc networks. Especially in dynamic topologies, key agreement with private key updating is essential in providing a secure system. And it is also necessary to protect the identities of individual nodes in wireless environments to avoid personal privacy problems. However, many of the existing key agreement schemes for ad hoc networks do not consider these issues concurrently. This paper proposes an anonymous ID-based private key update scheme and a key agreement scheme for mobile ad hoc networks. We also suggest a method of rekeying between different domains using service-coordinators. These schemes are secure against various attacks and are suitable for service-oriented mobile ad hoc networks.

  • Because most researches that were studied so far on XML documents used an absolute coordinate system in most of the index techniques, the update operation makes a large burden. To express the structural relations between elements, attributes and text, we need to reconstruct the structure of the coordinates. As the reconstruction process proceeds through out the entire XML document in a cascade manner, which is not limited to the current changing node, a serious performance problem may be caused by the frequent update operations. In this paper, we propose an index technique based on extensible index that does not cause serious performance degradations. It can limit the number of node to participate in reconstruction process and improve lots of performance capacities on the whole. And extensible index performs the containment relationship query by the simple expression using SQL statement.

  • SIR based beam switching in distributed controlled cellular systems is proposed to reduce intercell interference. Compared with Random beam switching that beam switching pattern is randomly selected and cannot avoid beam collision between neighboring cell, SIR based beam switching update its switching pattern based on SIR report from mobile. Neighboring cells independently update their switching patterns and the updated patterns converge to the patterns that minimize beam collision. We shows SIR base beam switching has 20% gain compared with random beam switching in two neighboring cell model.

  • In this paper, we propose a collision risk assesment system. First, using Kalman Filter, we estimate the information of pedestrian, and second, we compute the collision probability using Monte Carlo Simulations(MCS) and neural network(NN). And we update the collision risk using time history which is called belief. Belief update consider not only output of Kalman Filter of only current time step but also output of Kalman Filter up to the first time step to current time step. The computer simulations will be shown the validity of our proposed method.
