  • 본 논문에서는 홈 환경에서 정보가전 장치와 각 장치가 제공하는 서비스를 발견하고 일괄적으로 제어할 수 있는 시스템 (HSC: Home Service Controller)을 제안한다. 기존 연구에서는 서비스마다 각기 다른 인터페이스가 요구되었고, 한 번에 하나의 서비스만 수행해야 하는 제한이 있었다. 제안된 HSC에서는 UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)구조에 기반 하여 자동으로 발견된 서비스를 사용자에게 알리고, 제안된 통합 인터페이스로 다수의 서비스를 제어한다. 또한 PDA를 통해 제공되는 입체적인 3D GUI화면과, 여러 서비스를 일괄적으로 수행할 수 있는 서비스 일괄 수행을 지원함으로써, 사용자에게 보다 넓은 행동 범위와 편리를 제공한다. 이러한 시스템은 다수의 장치와 서비스가 네트워크로 연동되는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자가 장소와 시간에 구애받지 않고 다양한 서비스를 일괄적으로 제공받는데 활용될 수 있다.

  • We propose a robust adaptive fuzzy controller for the transient stability and voltage regulation of a single-machine inflnite bus power system. The proposed control scheme is based on the input-output linearization to eliminate the system nonlinearities. To deal with uncertainties due to a parameter variation or a fault, we introduce fuzzy systems with universal function approximating capability which estimate the uncertainties on-line.

  • An adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode controller (SMC) for uncertain or ill-defined single-input single-output (SISO) nonaffine nonlinear systems is proposed. By using the universal approximation property of the fuzzy logic system (FLS), it is tuned on-line to cancel the unknown system nonlinearity. We adopt a self-structuring FLS to guarantee global stability of the closed-loop system rather than semi=global boundedness. The control and adaptive laws are derived so that the estimated fuzzy parameters are bounded and the sliding condition is satisfied.

  • The branch of the laser imaging has implemented 3D graphics, color graphics and video images after it drew a simple image by development the salvo's X-Y scanner in 1960 year. Now it is used as the multimedia show of an event and an advertisement. The latest issue of laserist is the ability to generate laser images with the same ease and speed associated with traditional computer graphics. All laser projector used in the interior of a countris was imported from other country. The most important component of the laser projector is the speed and the accuracy of a actuator and the software which actuates the controller on computer. In this paper we developed the controller with a universal joint and the PC based user interface software in order to implement the laser image of two dimension, and will prepare the base of beginning the home laser projector

  • A direct adaptive state-feedback controller for highly nonlinear systems is proposed. This paper considers uncertain or ill-defined nonaffine nonlinear systems and employs a static fuzzy logic system (FLS). The employed FLS estimates. and adaptively cancels an unknown plant nonlinearity using its proved universal approximation property. A control law and adaptive laws for unknown fuzzy parameters and bounding constant are established so that the whole closed-loop system is stable in the sense of Lyapunov. The tracking error is guaranteed to be uniformly asymptotically stable rather than uniformly ultimately bounded with the aid of an additional robustifying control term. No a priori knowledge of an upper bound on an lumped uncertainty is required.

  • The single phase angle control system may become noisy when speed Is modulated with a conventional TRIAC AC controller. But this system is widely used despise of occurring sub-harmonic current because of its simply structure and low cost. Most of the vacuum cleaner drive control system regulates TRIAC's phase angle, so that it is controlled the speed. In the case of marketing product, it is not considered linearity of the speed to minimize occurring harmonic current. The sub-harmonic current reduces effectively in regulating specification TRIAC trigger phase angle. In this paper, we examined about characteristics of phase angle controller and parameter of parallel coil for eliminating sub-harmonic current.

  • A novel switching differentiator-based backstepping controller for uncertain pure-feedback nonlinear systems is proposed. Using asymptotically convergent switching differentiator, time-derivatives of the virtual controls are directly estimated in every backstepping design steps. As a result, the control law has an extremely simple form and asymptotical stability of the tracking error is guaranteed regardless of parametric or unstructured uncertainties and unmatched disturbances in the considered system. It is required no universal approximators such as neural networks or fuzzy logic systems that are adaptively tuned online to cope with system uncertainties. Simulation results show the simplicity and performance of the proposed controller.

  • Tools and methods for interacting with the virtual environment are essential in order for a student to perform the virtual reality education contents. However, since the developed controller has generally been constructed for adults, it is necessary to study interaction tools considering the purpose of education and the level of students. Therefore, this study analyzed elementary and middle school students' perceptions of HMD and interactive tools, which are currently widely used as an initial research for developing interactive tools. Results show that students' perceptions has increased in post-questionnaire compared to pre-questionnaire, indicating that the universal controller can be used in the education. Implications for the development of interaction tools are discussed based on interviews with students.

  • A fabricated hybrid control board using multi-communication is designed with a low power 8-bit microcontroller, ATxmega128A1. The microcontroller consists of 8 UART (Universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter) ports, 2 kbytes EEPROM, 128 kbytes flash memory, 8 kbytes SRAM. The 8 URAT ports are used for a multi-communication modem, a GPS module, etc. The EEPROM is used for saving a configuration for running programs, and the flash memory of 128 kbytes is used for storing a F/W (Firm Ware), and the 8 kbytes SRAM is used for stack and for storing memory of global variables while running programs. If we use the multi-communication of CDMA, TRS and RF to remotely control Aid to Navigation, it is able to remove the communication shadow area. Even though there is a shadow area for an individual communication method, we can select an optimal communication method. The compatibility of data has been enhanced as using of same data frame per communication device. For the test, 8640 of data have been collected from each buoy during 30 days in every 5 minutes and the receiving rate of the data has shown more than 85 %.

  • An embedded two-axis solar tracking system was developed by using AVR micro controller for enhancing solar energy utilization. The system consists of an Atmega128 micro controller, two step motors, two step drive modules, CdS sensors, GPS module and other accessories needed for functional stability. This system is controlled by both an astronomical method and an optical method. Initial operation is performed by the result from the astronomical method, which is followed by the fine controlled operation using the signals from Cds sensors. The GPS sensor generates UTC, longitude and latitude data where the solar tracker is installed. A database of solar altitude, azimuth, and sunrise and sunset times is provided by UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter).
