Cumulant를 이용한 미지 시스템의 AR 식별에 관한 연구 (A Study on the AR Identification of unknown system using Cumulant)

  • 본 논문은 잡음이 존재하는 미지 시스템 출력 신호의 3차 통계치인 cumulant를 이용한 AR 식별에 관한 것이다. 미지 시스템 식별을 위한 알고리즘에서는 Parametric Modeling 기법중에서 Global Convergence 보장 및 시스템의 진폭과 위상 정보를 모두 표현할 수 있는 Cumulant를 이용한 AR (Auto Regressive) 식별 방법을 적용하였다. 식별 과정에서 미지 시스템을 하나의 AR 시스템으로 간주하였고 입력 신호를 발생하여 이를 통과시킨 후 잡음이 부가된 출력 신호를 얻어 이를 이용하였다. 신호대 잡음비의 변화에따른 AR 시스템의 식별을 수행한 결과 원래의 시스템 출력치와 유사한 양호한 식별 결과를 얻을 수 있었고 극점이 z 변환의 단위원내에 존재함을 확인하였다.

  • When a straight-in landing from an instrument approach using ILS or VOR/DME is not possible or desirable because of topographical reason or bad weather, a circling approach maneuver is initiated by the pilot to align the aircraft with a runway for landing. Visual contact with the runway is necessary while conducting a circle to land maneuver. This research is to develop a new warning system based on a conventional marker system which alerts pilots to watch out for exceeding the circling approach area. The airborne system also uses the same receiver unit without any new installations. The objective of this research is to design and develop a Yagi antenna in a special form. The research includes computer simulations to determine the size of antenna radiation pattern and to compute an expected flight path in case of alarm to validate effectiveness of the system.

통과대역에서 마이크로 리플과 선형 위상 특성을 갖는 폴리페이저 필터에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Polyphase Filter with Micro-ripple and almost Linear phase Characteristic in Pass-band)

  • 본 논문은 통과대역내에서 마이크로 리플 특성을 가지는 5차, 7차 폴리페이저 필터를 제시하였다. 이 필터는 병렬구조의 디지털 올패스 필터로 구성되어 있고, 단위원상에서 모든 영점을 가지는 반대역 필터이며, 하드웨어를 쉽게 구현하기 위해서 고정 소숫점 16bit 1.15 형식으로 계수를 정하였다. 그리고 필터의 성능을 입증하기 위해 각각의 branch상에서의 위상 특성을 비교 분석하였고, 통과대역과 저지대역의 위상 특성, 군지 연 특성 등을 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 그 결과 통과대역에서 마이크로 리플 특성과 선형 위상을 얻었다.

간략화된 최우도 방법을 사용한 다중 정현파의 주파수 추정 (Simplified Maximum Likelihood Estimation of the Frequencies of Multiple Sinusoids)

  • 다중 정현파의 주파수를 추정하는 최우도(ML) 방법은 주파수 추정에 정밀도를 보여주고 있으나, 최우도 함수가 주파수 추정에 쓰이는 경우 고도의 비선형성 때문에 추정에 많은 희생을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 최우도 방법의 비선형성을 개선하기 위해, 신호속에 포함된 정현 주파수의 추정을 용이하게 할 수 있는 단순화된 최우도 방법을 제시한다. 이 새로운 주파수 추정 방법을 백색 또는 칼라 잡음의 보기들에 적용하고, Monte-carlo 시뮬레이션을 실행하여 통계적 평균값, 평균 제곱근 및 상대 바이어스를 기존의 가장 우수한 방법인 MFBLP 방법과 비교한다. 또한 스펙트럼 파우어 밀도와 단위 원에서의 주파수 위치를 그림을 통하여 나타낸다.

  • The embedded suction anchor(ESA) is and anchor that is driven by a suction pile. The cross-sectional shape of the ESA anchor is circle. Its diameter is the same as that of the suction pile that is used to drive it into the seafloor. For the installation, the anchor is attached to the tip of the suction pile and then driven as a unit with the pile by and applied suction pressure. Once the ESA anchor reaches the desired depth, the pile is retrieved by applying a positive pressure. Finally, only the ESA anchor remains in the soil layer. This paper presents the results of centrifuge model tests to investigate ESA pullout capacity. The main parameters that have effects on the pullout capacity of ESA may include g-level, embedded depth, direction of loading, and loading point. The results of tests show that the pullout loading capacities increase as the loading point shift toward the tip of the anchors for a given loading direction. They also indicate that the loading point associated with the maximum pullout loading capacity is located at approximately 67 percent of the anchor length from the top for the horizontal load.

  • For two essentially bounded Lebesgue measurable functions 𝜙 and ξ on unit circle 𝕋, we attempt to study properties of operators $S^k_{\mathcal{M}({\phi},{\xi})=S^k_{T_{\phi}}+S^k_{H_{\xi}}$ on H2(𝕋) (k ≥ 2), where $S^k_{T_{\phi}}$ is a kth-order slant Toeplitz operator with symbol 𝜙 and $S^k_{H_{\xi}}$ is a kth-order slant Hankel operator with symbol ξ. The spectral properties of operators Sk𝓜(𝜙,𝜙) (or simply Sk𝓜(𝜙)) are investigated on H2(𝕋). More precisely, it is proved that for k = 2, the Coburn's type theorem holds for Sk𝓜(𝜙). The conditions under which operators Sk𝓜(𝜙) commute are also explored.

근사 역모델에 의한 이산시간 학습제어기의 수렴성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Convergence for a Discrete-time Learning Controller by Approximated Inverse Model)

  • The iterative learning controller makes the system output follow the desired output over a finite time interval through iterating trials. In this paper, first we discuss that the design problem of learning controller is originally the design problem of the inverse model. Then we show that the tracking error which is the difference between the desired output and the system output is reduced monotonically by properly modeled inverse system if the magnitude of the learning operator being introduced is bounded within the unit circle in complex domain. Also it would be shown that the conventional learning control method is a kind of extremely simplified inverse model learning control method of the objective controlled system. Hence this control method can be considered as a generalization of the conventional learning control method. The more a designer model the objective controlled system precisely, the better the performance of the approximated inverse model learning controller would be. Finally we compare the performance of the conventional learning control method with that of the approximated inverse model learning control method by computer simulation.

다중회귀모형에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 기하학적 표현 (Geometrical description based on forward selection & backward elimination methods for regression models)

  • 다중회귀모형에서 변수선택법 중에서 전진선택과 후진제거의 과정을 기하학적으로 표현하는 그래픽적 방법을 제안한다. 반지름이 1인 반원의 제1사분면에는 전진선택 과정을, 제2사분면에는 후진제거 과정을 표현한다. 각 단계에서 회귀제곱합을 벡터로 표현하고, 추가제곱합 또는 부분결정계수를 벡터 사이의 각도로 나타내며 벡터의 끝을 연결할 때 통계적으로 유의하면 점선으로 표현하여 부분가설검정의 통계적 분석결과를 인지할 수 있도록 작성한다. 이 방법을 이용하면 전진선택과 후진제거 방법에 의한 최종모형을 비교 분석하고 전체적으로 모형의 적합도를 파악할 수 있다.

  • The first national QC Circle Convention sponsored by Industry Advancement Administration in 1975 was the beginning of employees group activity from a national point view. Subsequently some events such as the first nationwide Factory Seamaul activity small Group Convention, which was supervised by the ministry of Trading and Industry and Factory Seamanulundong promotion Center, paved the way for proliferation of the group activity through all kinds of manufacturing. Although since November 1982 these two conventions has been united, many problem have been disclosed that are against the basic principle more or less. Worker's small group activity is, essentially, a trouble shooting oriented voluntary small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many groups are so typical and so impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. Effective small group activities are presumed to he successful only with labor management cooperation on the basis of human-oriented management philosophy. The small group activities are also prevalent in service sector. More derivative methods have been developed and more members are willingly participating in training programs. The small group which is basically a horizontal organization unit, promotes communication within the whole organization. In consideration of the social circumstances and traditions, the flexible model of the small group activities suitable to the corporate environment, will contribute to industrial development.

A Roots Method in GI/PH/1 Queueing Model and Its Application

  • In this paper, we introduce a roots method that uses the roots inside the unit circle of the associated characteristics equation to evaluate the steady-state system-length distribution at three epochs (pre-arrival, arbitrary, and post-departure) and sojourn-time distribution in GI/PH/1 queueing model. It is very important for an air base to inspect airplane oil because low-quality oil leads to drop or breakdown of an airplane. Since airplane oil inspection is composed of several inspection steps, it sometimes causes train congestion and delay of inventory replenishments. We analyzed interarrival time and inspection (service) time of oil supply from the actual data which is given from one of the ROKAF's (Republic of Korea Air Force) bases. We found that interarrival time of oil follows a normal distribution with a small deviation, and the service time follows phase-type distribution, which was first introduced by Neuts to deal with the shortfalls of exponential distributions. Finally, we applied the GI/PH/1 queueing model to the oil train congestion problem and analyzed the distributions of the number of customers (oil trains) in the queue and their mean sojourn-time using the roots method suggested by Chaudhry for the model GI/C-MSP/1.
