  • CdS thin films on polymer substrates such as polycarbonate(PC) and polyethylene terephthalat(PET) have many merits such as light weight, small volume and can make the obtained devices folded, easily carried. In present work, CdS thin films on glass, PC, and PET substrates have been prepared by chemical bath deposition. The structural and optical propertied of the films depending on substrate types have been investigated.

  • This paper is investigated about the effect of vibration of the water surface for hydrogen gas generation by non-thermal plasma. The vibration of the water surface is more powerful with increasing applied voltage. In this experimental reactor which is made of multi-needle and plate, the maximum acquired hydrogen production rate is about 6.8[ml/sec]. Although the generation of hydrogen gas is increased with elevating time, it is saturated after specific time due to the volume of reactor and the saturation of taylor cone.

  • In this paper, we investigated electrical characteristics of the X-ray detector of mercuric iodide (HgI2) film fabricated by PIB(Particle-in-Binder) Method on ITO substrates 17cm$\times$20cm in size with thicknesses ranging from approximately 200${\mu}m$ to 240${\mu}m$. In the present study, using I-V measurements, their electrical properties such as leakage current, X-ray sensitivity, and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR),were investigated. The results of our study can be useful in the future design and optimization of direct active-matrix flat-panel detectors (AMFPD) for various digital X-ray imaging modalities.

  • The ethylene-propylene (EP) rubbers mixed with one to one ratio is used as an insulation material in the nuclear power plant. It was investigated the effect of the amount of reinforcing agent. moisture absorption and heat treatment on the Ethylene-Propylene(EP) rubbers. The level of degradation was measured by the amount of discharging and. charging currents. When $\gamma$ rays were radiated on the EP rubbers with more charging material, the amount of discharging and charging currents was depended on the amount of reinforcing agent It was verified that the discharging and charging currents irradiated by $\gamma$ rays were higher than those that was not irradiated.

  • The importance of display is becoming increasingly important due to the development of information and industry where it leads to diverse and abundant information in today's society. The demand and application range for FPD(Flat Panel Display), specifically represented by LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and PDP(Plasma Display Panel), have been rapidly growing for its outstanding performance and convenience amongst many other forms of display. The current focus has been on OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) in the mobile form, which has just entered into mass production amid the different types of FPD. Many studies are being conducted in regards to device, vacuum evaporation, encapsulation, and drive circuits with the development of device as a matter of the utmost concern. This study develops a new type of light-emitting materials by synthesizing medical polymer organic chitosan and phosphor material CuS. Chitosan itself satisfies the Pool-Frenkel Effect, an I-V specific curve, with a thin film under $20{mu}m$, and demonstrates production possibility for a living body sensors solely with the thin film. Furthermore, it enables production possibility for EML of organic EL device(Emitting Layer) with liquid Green light emitting and Blue light emitting as a result of synthesis with phosphor material.

  • Cu+ ions drift diffusion in different dielectric materials is evaluated. The diffusion is investigated by measuring shift in the flatband voltage of capacitance/voltage measurements on Cu gate capacitors after bias temperature stressing. At a field of 1.lMV/cm and temperature $200^{\circ}C$, $250^{\circ}C$, $300^{\circ}C$ for 1H, 2H, 5H. The Cu+ ions drift rate of polyimide$(2.8{\leq}k{\leq}3.2)$ is considerably lower than thermal oxide. Also Cu+ drift rate of polyimide is similar to PECVD oxide. But, polyimide film is even more resistant to Cu drift diffusion and thermal effect than Thermal oxide, PECVD oxide: This results got a comparative reference. The important conclusion is that polyimide film is strongly dielectric material by thermal effect and Cu drift diffusion.

  • This paper describes the modeling and simulation results for film bulk acoustic resonators(FBAR). We present the frequency tuning mechanisms, analytical solutions of the wave equation and the influence of the thickness of the electrodes. The impedance for PZT based FBAR is derived utilizing proper boundary conditions and their material parameters. Ferroelectrics-based RF filter composed of FBARs are designed.
