초등 예비 과학교사들의 과학 수업지도안 작성 전략 분석 (Analysis of Pre-service Teachers' Lesson Planing Strategies in Elementary School Science)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore strategies used by pre-service elementary science teachers in planning a science lesson. The participants were six senior students from a national university of education located in the midwestern area of Korea. Data regarding their planning strategies were gathered through both thinking-aloud and observation. Research findings suggest that: three of the teachers had little understanding of the necessity of reviewing unit contents or prior learning for planning a science lesson; five student teachers relied heavily on learning objectives presented in teachers' guidebooks without considering their appropriateness; all teachers exhibited an intention of composing different activities or teaching approaches from teachers' guidebooks; only two teachers thought about learners' prior knowledge or understanding levels; five and three teachers had poor understanding of discovery learning models and importance of teacher's questioning, respectively; and five teachers paid little attention to assessment.

수학기호와 그 의미에 대한 고찰 및 도입 방법 (Reflection and Approach on Mathematical Signs and Their Meanings)

  • Mathematics is constructed by many signs, and learning mathematics involves the understanding and uses of them. This study reflects mathematical signs and their meanings, and considers how they can be introduced in learning. For these, we first investigated epistemological positions as Piaget, Vygotsky, anthropology, and interactionism. And we investigated semiotic models that Saussure and Peirce built each. Among these we adopted Peirce' triadic model that is consisted of interpretant, object (referent), and represen tamen(sign). In mathematic learning process, representations are transformed by translations and meanings are growed to the representation of another sign. And the meaning of sign grows by learner's interpretation. In terms of theoretical grounds, we settled that the understanding of mathematical signs involved the understanding of their representations and their meanings. On the foundation of above contents, we searched how we introduced signs to students and there were methods that approached to students representationally or inquiringly.

  • 블록체인은 다양한 기술 응용성을 가지고 있으며 일반 대중은 암호화폐를 통하여 그 기술을 접하고 있다. 그러나 일부 전문가와 일반인들이 블록체인과 암호화폐의 개념을 이해하는데 있어 혼돈이 있어 왔다. 본 논문은 인지 부조화 개념 속에서 혼선의 요소를 파악하고 암호화폐와 블록체인 대해서 보다 명확한 이해를 돕고자 한다.

제 7차 교육과정에 따른 수학 교과서의 이해: 초등학교를 중심으로 (Understanding Mathematics Textbook Based on the Seventh School Curriculum)

  • There has been much concern and worry about executing school curriculum from the year 2000 because the seventh curriculum is based on the complicated' differentiated education' concept. Now the new textbook has been developed according to the curriculum. This paper will reinforce the understanding of the curriculum and textbook in school math. In order to do this, this paper will present questions on three subjects to help school teachers and people related to math education to probe and discuss the benefits and problems of teaching math using the new textbook. The three subjects are based on the contents included in certain chapters of the math textbook. These are 1) understanding mathematics concepts using manipulatives or concrete objects, 2) doing math projects or problem solving activities 3) learning mathematics using calculators. furthermore, it is emphasized in this paper that math teachers must keep in mind that they should execute instruction in their own way using the 'textbook' not as a bible but as a guideline.

<주서관견(籌書管見)>의 구장문답(九章問答)에서의 구장(九章)에 대한 이해 (Understanding of Gujang in the Gujang-Mundab of Ju-Seo-Gwan-Gyeon)

  • Ju-Seo-Gwan-Gyeon is a mathematical book of Chosun dynasty by Jo Tae Gu. This study is to analyze his understanding for the 'Gujang' in the 'Gujang-Mundab'. From this study, we were able to see the contents of 'Gujang-Mundab' that has been unknown in detail so far. In this study, the following facts are found. Most parts of 'Gujang' in 'Gujang-Mundab' was explained the same as Gu-Jang-San-Sul. This indicates that Ju-Seo-Gwan-Gyeon was influenced by Gu-Jang-San-Sul. However, Ju-Seo-Gwan-Gyeon also contains what he wrote with his own understanding. We expect that the results provide basic information for mathematics history in Korea.

전통적 교육이론에 따른 유아교육용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 설계 방안 (Multimedia Contents Design for Early Childhood Education to Traditional Education Theory)

  • This study investigates design strategies for improving the educational quality of multimedia contents for early childhood education. It emphasizes both traditional education theory and developmental aspects in its exploration of interactive and educational qualitative multimedia contents for early children. Accordingly, for an effective early childhood education, it is necessary to experience of the playful learning for the conception of ideas and the understanding of the social life. Because this study 1) possibility of multimedia contents for early childhood education, 2) computer application method for early childhood education, 3) examines used in the designing of multimedia contents for early childhood education according to traditional education theory. Multimedia early childhood education system is possible to organize information such as test, image, sound and video based on hyperlink system. I use Microsoft's Ms-office and Asymetrix's ToolBook software that are useful for hyperlink and parameter. Multimedia contents and other pages are used by Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE). Therefore multimedia contents for early childhood education is a useful tool for students of early childhood education department, parents, and children.

초등학교 수학과 개념학습을 위한 스토리텔링 기반학습 콘텐츠 개발 (Development of Mathematics Learning Contents based on Storytelling for Concept Learning)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 3학년 학생들을 위한 수학과 개념 학습용 콘텐츠를 개발하고 그 교육적 효과를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 수학과 개념 학습을 위한 스토리텔링 기반 학습 콘텐츠를 개발하기 위해 교수체제 설계의 기본 모형인 ADDIE 모형을 활용하였다. 먼저, 교육과정 분석을 통해 54개의 핵심 용어를 추출한 후, 학습자들에게 친숙한 맥락을 반영한 스토리를 수학 개념과 결합하는 설계 전략을 마련하였다. 개발된 콘텐츠의 교육적 효과성을 검증하기 위해 학생과 교사들을 대상으로 설문지와 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 그 결과 콘텐츠에 대한 학생들의 이해도, 흥미도, 집중도, 기대감이 아주 높게 나타났으며, 교사들 역시 동기유발을 위한 유용한 교수 자료로 사용할 수 있음을 시사하였다.

중학교 기술${\cdot}$가정 교과의 '청소년의 이해' 단원 내용에 대한 학생의 흥미도와 유용성 인식 (Middle School Student's Educational Interest and Perception of Usefulness on the Contents of the Unit of 'Understanding of Adolescents' in Technology.Home Economics Textbook)

  • 본 연구는 중학교 1학년 기술 가정 교과의 '청소년의 이해' 대단원에 속한 소단원별 하위 주제의 교과 내용에 대한 남녀 학생들의 흥미도와 유용성 인식을 파악하고 이들 간의 관계를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기, 인천에 거주하는 중학교 1학년 남녀 학생 521명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 빈도분석, t-test, 일원분산분석, Pearson의 적률상관관계분석을 적용하여 자료를 분석하였다. '청소년의 이해' 대단원 내용에 대한 전반적인 흥미도와 유용성 인식 경향을 보면 가장 흥미도와 유용성 인식이 높은 소단원은 '청소년의 스트레스 관리'로 나타났다. 중학생의 '청소년의 이해' 대단원의 소단원별 하위내용에 대한 흥미도는 성별, 거주지역, 모의 연령, 부모 학력, 교과 선호도에 따라 차이가 나타났으며 유용성 인식은 성별, 거주지역, 모의 연령, 모의 학력, 교과 성적, 교과 선호도에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 소단원별 교과내용에 대한 흥미도와 유용성 인식과의 상관관계는 전반적으로 어느 소단원에 대해 흥미를 많이 가질 경우 그 해당 단원뿐만 아니라 해당 단원이 속해 있는 중단원 내의 다른 단원에 대하여도 유용성을 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 영화, 인터넷 등의 미디어를 포함하는 멀티미디어콘텐츠는 멀티미디어 환경에 익숙해진 c세대 학습자들에겐 효용가치가 높은 학습도구가 될 수 있다. 첫째 현실적이고 생생한 정보를 제공해 준다는 점에서 해당국가의 문화와 생활양식을 이해하는데 적합한 자료가 될 수 있다. 둘째 영상매체를 선호하는 학생들에게 멀티미디어콘텐츠는 흥미도와 이해력 증진에 효과적인 학습도구가 될 수 있다. 셋째 제공받은 정보의 도움을 받은 개별적 콘텐츠개발의 시간은 학생들로 하여금 내용의 이해뿐만 아니라 더 나아가 간접 문화체험의 기회를 제공해 줌으로서 성취도 향상 차원에서 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 외국 문화교육을 위한 효과적인 교육 방안으로서 멀티미디어콘텐츠의 활용과 개발을 제안한다.

A Comparison Study on Accredited Architectural Education Contents between US and Korea

  • Since 2002, Architecture Schools in Korea was changing long traditional architectural education system from 4 years generalized architectural engineering curriculum to 5 years professional architecture program. Until 2010, 76 architecture schools have changed their program to 5 years course which was focused to design studio education. It was a very rapid change and there was not much time develop their own system which could represent institutional identity, character of students and local environment. Korea joined as a regular member of Canberra Accord in 2010 and it is meaningful to compare Korean architecture program contents to another country education contents. US architecture programs were selected for this comparison study. The goals of this study are to create a comparable understanding the form of contents of Architectural Education in US and Korea and to verify the substantial equivalence of these systems. To achieve above goals, three public institutes of each country were selected and analyzed with general information, history, resources, curriculum and the matrix of Student Performance Criteria for quantitative comparison. For qualitative comparison education context of programs were analyzed with program missions, the way of advising, professional connection and distribution of faculty loads.
