  • To find out abnormal electrical conditions, periodic inspections for residential houses are being performed every 3 years. According to data from KESCO, the number of uninspected houses is rising as the number of empty houses during normal working hours is rising by dramatic increase in the number of nuclear families and double income families. As a result, potential hazards are increased by them. In this paper, a model of a national electric safety network is presented. In the model, functions for ubiquitous environments were partially realized.

  • Invisible networks have hidden bits flows from human being and become the periphery in the Internet overload; technologies become invisible and everywhere computing. The appearance of the calm environment requires a new relationship between human being and machines and geographic features: a paradigm shift. However no one says what next steps to those environments on details are, a reason why lots of people focus on the endeavors. In this paper, we touch the geographic features on ubiquitous environments and research the transition step of GIS mobile applications in order to achieve a natural integration of connectivity, capability and functionality.

  • IT Convergence with agriculture is expected to bring more efficiency and quality improvement in producing, distributing, consuming of agricultural products with the aid of information processing and autonomous control technologies of the IT area. However, there exist many difficulties to establish services and systems to actualize the IT convergence service in the agricultural field to cope with various objects such as time-varying weather changes, growth condition of farm products, and continual diseases. In this paper, we suggest standard technology service requirements for ubiquitous environments agriculture based on network.

  • In this paper, we research the OLSR(Optimized Link State Routing Protocol) of the mobile ad-hoc network protocols, and design the system implementation based on the Embedded Linux for the Ubiquitous Space construction. We prove the performance of proposed system in the various experiment environments through several scenarios which is about transmitting the image data on the mobile ad-hoc network environment.

  • In this paper, I have presented a new approach which can track moving objects in unknown environments. This scheme is important in providing a computationally feasible alternative to complete enumeration of JPDA which is intractable. I have proved that given an artificial measurement and track's configuration, proposed scheme converges to a proper plot in a finite number of iterations. In this light, even if the performance is enhanced by using the relaxation, we also note that the difficulty in tuning the parameters of the relaxation scheme is critical aspect of this suggestion.

  • Owing to the advent of ubiquitous computing technologies, the concept of Intelligent Environments has emerged, as an alternative approach to overcome the limitation of the built environment. Intelligent Environments can be more responsive to user-and context-specific human activities by automatically and dynamically modifying their settings without explicit human intervention. However, the conventional approach to the development of Intelligent Environments has mainly focused on the technical issues without paying much attention to the dynamic interrelationship between the user and the built environment. Therefore, differing or conflicting needs of multiple simultaneous users remain unresolved. The objective of this study is to present types of environmental conflicts and their resolution through agent collaboration and negotiation. For the demonstration and validation of the conflict resolution process, a set of hypothetical test cases is simulated in a 3D test environment. The result of the case simulations shows that the proposed approach is computationally feasible and applicable to the development of Intelligent Environments, and, furthermore, it can overcome the drawback of the conventional approach.

  • All industrial Products of today are various demand of customers and are switchovered the manufacturing system of a small quantity batch production. Its life cycle was very shortened. An enterprise is improved to satisfaction with external customers and internal customers of infinity competition time. They can exist on achieving customer satisfaction management. In this paper, a new implementation of service information system (SIS) with real time using RFID and X-Internet in Ubiquitous environments is proposed. The proposed SIS system has Web architecture based on XML and has a new X-Internet environment overcoming limitation of Client/server architecture. The service information system analyze its material data and suppress the same CLAIM creation. The implementation method of real time SIS system using RFID and X-Internet is proposed for contribution of business market reducing F-Cost.

  • Recently fast innovation of Internet technology causes lot of application to change into web application and requirement for the inter-operable communication among various systems are increased rapidly. These trends are part of changes which is caused by ubiquitous world and it is just beginning of huge waves that is required to fit and change under the ubiquitous environments. This thesis is focused on the Design and Implementation of Layer Structured Components which can be interfaced effectively for the Material Management System under the Heterogeneous Client Server Environments. The key points to do that kinds of affairs are using XML web services that can communicate thru systems and also using independent layered components for the enforcement of reusability and inter-operability. For the various type of testing of implementation, we used RFID System, PDA, Desktop Systems and confirmed the normal operation without concerning the type of client system and platforms. The Components proposed in this thesis could be reused effectively in case of developing similar applications.
