It is essential to investigate the structure and the main characteristic of Home USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technologies in built ubiquitous environment while designing bio-sensors. For this study, Thermistor elements and Thermopile black body have been selected to implement ubiquitous technologies for bio-sensors and wireless network such as WiBro has been used to transfer sensing data to the BSN (Bio-Sensor Network) gateway. It is certain that efficiency of ubiquitous space design is improved if main components of each specific sensor network are analyzed precisely in digital way and corresponding communication modules are prepared accordingly. Ubiquitous technology, in conclusion, has to be applied not only with systematical mechanism or electronic setting but in human-centered atmosphere as well, keeping with deep consideration for bio-housing service factors in eco-friendly surrounding.

With the introduction of the ubiquitous technology, the housing culture centers have demonstrated future housing image or technology. But Ubiquitous Home Services in the future housing were more focused on implementation of environment for the future than exhibition that consumers can experience. The purpose of this study was to identify ubiquitous home services which were realized in domestic future housing and to compare those with results of previous researches on demand for u-services. For this study, field study was conducted with 3 domestic future housings and 14 previous studies on demand of u-services were analyzed by the standard of residents demand. The results of the study showed that u-services for housework and leisure life more than those for security and health, were applied in the future housing. However, residents prefered u-services for security and control of indoor environment to those for housework and leisure life. As a result, it was found thatu-services which residents needed mainly were discordant with those that were displayed frequently in future housing. Also developing u-services reflected the needs of residents, a test bed has to be established in the future housing and then pre-evaluaiton can be conducted.

현재 많은 대학에서는 대학경쟁력 강화 차원에서 유비쿼터스 캠퍼스에 대한 연구를 활발히 진행하고 있으며, 일부 대학에서는 통신회사와 함께 구축하여 학내 서비스로 활용하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 유비쿼터스 캠퍼스 환경은 학생들이 해당 서비스를 실질적으로 사용하기에는 관련기기의 보급이 미흡하여 실용성이 떨어지고, 대학과 업체 중심의 개발로 인해 진정한 학생 중심의 서비스를 지원하지 못한다는 한계점을 갖고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자 IT 인프라 분석을 통한 실효성 있는 서비스의 구현을 통해서 보다 학생 중심적이고 학생의 유비쿼터스 활용을 분석할 수 있는 모델에 관해 연구하였다.

Large-scale urban developments with increasing population and expansion of industrial facilities have destroyed the ecosystem. Consequently, the importance of vertical farm as a form of urban agriculture is increasing. However, such problems of vertical farms as economy and lack of awareness of residents are being raised. Firstly, this study derived types of vertical farm that are applicable to residential spaces through an examination of vertical farm buildings, and then inferred assessment items for a questionnaire survey for the development of u-services. Secondly, based on the issues deduced from the survey, u-services needed in vertical farm buildings were derived to use them as the basic data when we plan for a ubiquitous vertical farm building in residential space in the future. As result, the following uservices of ubiquitous vertical farm were proposed: u-notification service about the condition of crops from the aspect of growth management based on ubiquitous technology, remote/automatic control u-services, harvest information u-service for harvest management, recipe information u-service, and indoor air quality monitoring u-service, indoor environment adjusting u-service, and farm environment control u-service. Considering that many new buildings in Korea are residential buildings and many high-rise buildings are being planned, studies on vertical farm buildings must be continued.

최근, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅은 새로운 지식정보국가 건설과 자국의 정보 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심 패러다임이라는 인식 하에 미국, 유럽, 일본의 정부 및 기업, 연구소들이 관련 기술에 대한 개발에 총력을 다하고 있다. 우리나라의 경우도 정부의 차세대 성장동력 산업의 주요 부분으로 유비쿼터스 기술을 제시하고 있으며, 국내 정부기관, 기업 또한 유비쿼터스 조기실현을 위한 노력을 경주하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문은 차세대 첨단 정보통신 기술로 부각되고 있는 유비쿼터스 환경을 건설분야에 효율적으로 적용하기 위한 기반 연구로써, 유비쿼터스환경하의 건설 프로세스의 변화양상과 단계별 정보 서비스 구현을 위한 필요한 요소기술들에 대하여 논하고자 한다.

Healthcare is a research field suitable for applying the recent ubiquitous techniques. As a test system, we developed a kind of CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) running in ubiquitous environment. called as 'uCDSS'. The uCDSS is a core system of the ubiquitous healthcare and is composed of some 'uMLMs(Ubiquitous Medical Logic Modules)'. The uMLMs based on the class in C# programming language could be reused in development of CDSS, or another EHR system running in .NET environment. As a test system, we developed the DM(Diabetes Mellitus knowledge system using ASP.NET. This system shows the potential of C# class-based uMLMs and the extensibility to any .NET development project.

Spotlighted as an innovative information technology environment, ubiquitous computing has been actively researched on recently. Especially, domestic and global researches focus on the RFID system, which is being eyed to replace the existing bar-code system. As an essential technology for ubiquitous computing, the RFID system can be applied for various purposes. The security issues of the RFID system focus on how the low-priced tag type could have reasonable price competitiveness. The Auto-ID Center in the U.S. is spearheading the research on distribution service and omni-directional security. As for Japan, the researches on omni-directional security and EPC application are necessary in securing the technology for ubiquitous computing with support from the Ministry of Public Management Home Affairs, Posts, and Telecommunication. In this paper, a method of ensuring the availability of the RFID system service will be presented based on the ubiquitous computing environment with the existing omni-directional security and user-friendly interface. While the existing researches focus on the RF reader system and tag-based security, this paper's suggestion also considers the availability of a sen ice to suggest ways of increasing the practical usage of a low-priced RF tag.

본 논문에서는 위치 기반 서비스로서의 U-Learning에 적용할 수 있는 구성 및 온톨리지 이론을 정의하였다. 또한 본 논문에서는 위치 기반 서비스로서의 U-Learning에 대한 확실한 비전을 제공하고자 하였다. 상황 인식을 적용한 전형적인 U-Learning을 소개하였으며, 핵심 아이디어 및 기술적 개념을 포함한 학습 환경 구조도 소개하였다. 고급 정보통신 기술의 원리를 적용하여, 위치 기반 서비스로서의 U-Learning을 위한 인공지능 기반 상황 인식 개념도 정리하였다. 본 논문에서 언급하는 위치 기반 서스비로서의 U-Learning 및 하위 개념들은 새로운 패러다임을 제공할 것이며, 학습 환경 구조에 포함된 하위 요소들도 모두 제안하였다.

Recent ubiquitous computing environments increasingly impact on our lives using the current technologies of sensor network and ubiquitous services. In this paper, we propose ubiquitous architectural framework for ubiquitous sleep aid service(UbiSAS) in the subset of ubiquitous computing for refreshing of human's sleep. And we examine technical feasibility. Human can recover his health through refreshing sleep from fatigue. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS in digital home offers agreeable sleeping environment and improves recovery from fatigue. So we present new concept of ubiquitous architectural framework dissolving stress. Specially, we apply context to context-aware framework module. This context is transferred to context adaptive inference engine which has service invocation function in intelligent agent module. Ubiquitous architectural framework for UbiSAS using context adaptive rule inference engine without user intervention is technical issue. That is to say, we should take sleep comfortably during our sleeping. And sensed information during sleeping is changed to context-aware information. This presents significant information in context adaptive rule inference engine for UbiSAS. This information includes all sleeping state during sleeping in context-aware computing technique. So we propose more effective and most suitable ubiquitous architectural framework using context adaptive rule inference engine for refreshing sleep in this paper.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 환경 관제 서비스를 제공하는 효과적인 실내 환경 관제를 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 환경 관제 시스템은 사용자 환경에 대한 정보를 수집하여 실내 공기질 유지 관리 규정에 따라 쾌적한 환경을 유지하고 실내 환경을 건강하게 유지하기 위한 시스템이다. 환경 관제 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 서비스의 개발과 지원을 위한 액티브 모델 기반의 분산 프레임워크와 서비스 지향 아키텍처를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 환경 관제 시스템의 수행성을 검증하기 위해 컴포넌트의 동작을 보이고 환경관제 서비스의 GUI화면을 통해 결과 화면을 보였다.
