  • 무선통신 및 방송 기술의 발달과 함께 주파수 자원의 효율적 활용에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 또한 향후 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크, 이동 및 고정 무선통신, 무선방송 등 다양한 무선 응용 기술들이 혼재된 상황은 주파수 자원의 효율적 이용에 대한 요구를 강화할 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 무선자원을 능동적으로 인지하여 동적으로 변화하는 사용자의 요구 및 상황에 적합하도록 유휴 무선자원을 지능적으로 활용하는 제반 기술인 Cognitive Radio의 필요성 및 발전 방향과 IEEE 802.22 표준화 진행에 대하여 알아본다.

  • Nowadays ubiquitous sensor network (USN) has been considered as a key technique in all kinds of industrial area. The main purpose of this study is to search and analyze systems in real industrial fields based on USN. USN technique has been applied into various industrial fields such as ground/underground management system, visitor counter system, monitoring system, unmanned vehicles system and so on. The result of this study will be fruitful not only for researches but also for practices in industrial fields related to USN.

  • Recently, the application area of wireless LAN(Internet) and CDMA have been increased, rapidly. Bridge monitoring system using this ubiquitous Computing Technology can bring more convenience of bridge maintenance and management. This paper present a automatic data acquisition, control and processing technology through this concept, and check system applicability to the concrete bridge completed. Finally, The preventive bridge monitoring through the application of this system will progress in technology and make civil infrastructure more safe and useful.

  • Ubiquitous sensor network (USN) based on ZigBee communication protocol has been used in various application fields, such as home-network, intelligent building and machine, logistics, environmental monitoring, military field, security field and etc. The ZigBee is targeted at radio-frequency application that require a low data rate, long battery life and secure network. Especially, the USN system can be applied efficiently to building-indoor where the complex geometry is adopted. In this study, all 90 points of railway cabin indoor were monitored for temperature and humidity using USN technology. All sensors were pre/post-calibrated and the temperature/humidity change were analyzed in a railway cabin in real-time. The results would be useful to develop the cabin heating, ventilating and air conditing (HVAC) system to meet all passengers' thermal comfort regardless of their seat position.

  • This research aims at developing and distributing models and indexes that can evaluate ubiquitous information projects in order to enhance the objectivity and validity of their evaluation. The research adopts a BSC(Balanced Score Card) concept with four views, economic, policy, social, and technical views. The research induces a model of pre-evaluation and a model of post-evaluation according to each view. In order to secure the validity of the models, they are revised and complemented by obtaining advice through interviews with five experts in related fields, and the validity and application possibility of the indexes are verified by surveying ten people working in those fields. Finally, investigating their weights according to the importance of each view and index, they are evaluated using an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method.

  • As economic rapid growth, large structures are damaged by defects from design and construction process of the formation and environments. Therefore, safety diagnosis and monitoring skills are bringing importance into relief and legislate for safety diagnosis of large structures. However, the existing monitoring systems are difficult by using wire cable because of cost, error of date, location, revise. In this paper, wireless sensor network which are accelerator, temperature sensor system using ubiquitous had been field test on Sea-Hea Grand bridge. We compare accelerator, temperature sensor system with wire and wireless sensor network.

  • The concept of wearable computer says to be able to connect to network freely without restrict of place and time through the garment that contain the wire and circuit. Thereby we can realize the ubiquitous circumstances. Wearable computer plays a role of center in controlling the electronic equipments under the ubiquitous circumstances and also it will become the main stream of the future computer development. The current wearable computer displays ugly appearance by attaching the parts of computer on the garment instead of installing them in the box. However, as size of computer components are minimized and it's speed is getting faster, it is certain that wearable computer will evolve as fashionable computer, still retaining garment's original purpose such as fitting and fasion even though the computer is being installed to the clothing. This study reviewed about components, future market share, developed goods, human-being becoming cyborg, application area, restrict and on-going research of wearable computer.

  • 사용자의 상황이 연속적으로 변화하는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅에서 효율적으로 서비스를 수행하기 위해서는 효율적인 상황 정보 검색 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 효율적인 유비궈터스 서비스를 위한 상황별로 차별화된 새로운 상황 인식 정보 검색 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법에서는 상황에 따라 모든 정보를 한번에 검색하지 않기 때문에 보다 효율적으로 정보를 검색할 수 있다. 이를 위해 검색 기법과 알고리즘을 제시하고, 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법의 효율성을 실험을 통해 평가한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 FCM 교량의 시공 시 발생하는 처짐과 시공 후 발생하는 처짐의 관리를 위해 센서 네트워크를 활용한 처짐 관리 기술을 제안하고자 하였으며, 센서에 의한 검증실험과 제안된 USN를 이용하여 실제 건설되어지고 있는 현장에 적용함으로써 그 효율성을 입증하였다. 향후, USN은 교량의 장거리 건전도 모니터링에 매우 유용할 것이라 생각된다.
