  • The purpose of this study was to compare the cruise tours between China and U.S.A. through the semantic network analysis of big data by collecting online data with SCTM (Smart crawling & Text mining), a data collecting and processing program. The data analysis period was from January $1^{st}$, 2015 to August $15^{th}$, 2017, meanwhile, "cruise tour, china", "cruise tour, usa" were conducted to be as keywords to collet related data and packaged Netdraw along with UCINET 6.0 were utilized for data analysis. Currently, Chinese cruisers concern on the cruising destinations while American cruisers pay more attention on the onboard experience and cruising expenditure. After performing CONCOR (convergence of iterated correlation) analysis, for Chinese cruise tour, there were three clusters created with domestic destinations, international destinations and hospitality tourism. As for American cruise tour, four groups have been segmented with cruise expenditure, onboard experience, cruise brand and destinations. Since the cruise tourism of America was greatly developed, this study also was supposed to provide significant and social network-oriented suggestions for Chinese cruise tourism.

Although the archives' tour program is one of the effective means of services, there has been few studies on the archival tour program. This study investigated archival tour programs and tried to suggest a desirable tour program, with the Korean Presidential Archives as a case. For this study, four U.S. Presidential Libraries' tour programs were investigated and analyzed. Also, tour programs offered in similar organizations in Korea, such as Kim Daejung Library, Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Library of Korea, were analyzed. Current tour programs offered by the Korean Presidential Archives were also analyzed and some limitations were identified. Based on the characteristics of the Korean Presidential Archives, which will be moved to independent building in Sejong City soon, desirable direction to organize tour programs for various user groups were suggested.

  • Ubiquitous tourism information systems are more and more required to provide cultural contents comprising material heritage, performing art, folk tradition, handicraft or customs of everyday life, along with traditional tourist information about hotel facilities and infrastructure. This study attempts to investigate the effect of tourists' hotel preference attributes in terms of their satisfaction with ubiquitous tourism service. In so doing, 145 questionnaires were used to analyze the satisfaction of u-tourism service and the hotel preference attributes through the field survey. The questionnaires were collected from hotel employees who had experienced the ubiquitous tourism service. It is found that some of hotel-preference attributes positively influence u-tourism satisfaction but not all of them did. Service and differentiation attributes had an impact to u-tour and u-hotel function. And beverage attributes, to u-tour function, and convenience attributes, to u-hotel function. These findings mean that the hotel built u-tourism infrastructure gain a competitive advantage than the otherwise hotel.

  • The objective of this study is to propose the implications using theory of reasoned action(TRA) on u-Tour system. This research model through TRA is consisted as three constructs: user-friendliness(cognitive), perceived usefulness(cognitive) and purchase intention(affective). This study analyzes with a total of 153 respondents and used PLS-SEM method considering the small number of samples. Also, with the analysis, WarpPLS software is used in order to ferret out non-linear relationship between the constructs of research model. As a result of analysis, this research model shows statistical level significantly on proposed hypotheses and the applicability of TRA model in u-Tour system. Furthermore, additional analysis presents the possibility of non-linear relationship on each path between the constructs of research model showing J-shape. Also, the result showes the fact that the relationship had partly negative (-) effect on dependent factor. Additional analysis proposes that income variable as base of purchase intention has a moderating effect on all paths of research model.

  • The bundling of multiple products/services at a set price has become a popular marketing strategy. However, little is known on how effects of bundling strategy influence tourists' evaluation of tour packages. Tourists evaluate a tour package based on the trade-off between the perceived benefits and costs involved in purchasing the tour package. In other words, the perceived value of the tour package influenced whether tourists to purchase a tour package or not. This study tested a tour package based on the theory of bundling, taking a moderating approach with perceived value. The data for this study wascollected by subjects who live Seoul Metropolitan Area and Gyeonggi Province and 4234 respondents, potential tourists to northeastern U.S.A/Canada. Results show that bundling taken by travel agencies include how many product items to put in a tour package and what degree of discount for the tour package. Also explaining functional relationship among product items in the tour package. Result show that tourists expect a discount, large or small, from purchasing a tour package. And the larger the number of products in a tour packages, the larger the discount size, and low functional relationship among items tourists expect to get.
