The word of U-City means next generation information city. U-City mixes both high technology information infrastructure and ubiquitous information in city to improve easy life in city, quality of life, personal security in city life, and well-fare service and to make business in new area. To provide information and joy of life to citizen in U-city, we will design U-Booth among IT infrastructure solutions. In this article, we will study designing city-type U-Booth and summarize designing point of U-Booth in terms of the specific place. At last, we want to say about the role of U-Booth in U-city. In this article, we want to study designing point of U-Booth and important parts in terms of the specific place of U-Booth.

u-GIS를 기반으로 시설물관리방안은 국토해양부의 VC-10 과제인 "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 의하여 개발되고 있다. 이 관리방안은 상수도 하수도 등 지하시설물 또는 지상시설물에 적용되는 기법으로, VC-10 다른 과제로 연구단 구성을 하고 있는 "U-Eco City 사업단"에서 제공하려고 하는 u-Space인 공공시설 관련 서비스에 해당된다. 본고에서는 "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 과제와 "U-Eco City 사업단" 과제를 개략적으로 파악하고, "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단"의 관리 중심 u-GIS 기반 u-City 구축방안의 현황을 분석하여, "지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단" 과제와 "U-Eco City사업단" 과제의 연계방안을 모책하여 u-GIS기반의 u-City계획 설계 시공 및 유지관리를 위한 방향제시를 하고자 한다.

유비쿼터스도시(u-City) 에서 제공할 서비스 즉, u-City서비스를 실제로 구현하기 위해서 사용되는 기술을 u-City 기술이라고 할 수 있다 본 논문에서는 u-City서비스, u-City 기반시설 그리고 u-City 기술들 간의 관계를 명확히 설명하기 위한 도구로서 u-City 기술 참조모델을 정의하였다. 이러한 참조모델을 사용함으로써 u-City 구축자, 서비스 제공자, 운영자, 이용자 등 여러 u-City 참여자들이 공감할 수 있는 서비스-기술 연계 모델을 제시하였으며 향후 u-IT 세부 기술이 발전하고 새로운 u-City 서비스가 추가되어도 이를 원활히 수용할 수 있도록 하였다.

In order to examine the in-reactor performance of very-high-density dispersion fuels for high flux performance research reactors, U-l0wt.%Mo microplates containing centrifugally atomized powder were irradiated at low temperature. The U-l0wt.%Mo dispersion fuels show stable in- reactor irradiation behaviors even at high burn-up, similar to U$_3$Si$_2$ dispersion fuels. The atomized U-l0wt.%Mo fuel particles have a fine and a relatively uniform fission gas bubble size distribution. Moreover, only one of third of the area of the atomized fuel cross-sections at 70a1.% burn-up shows fission gas bubble-free zones, This appears to be the result of segregation into high Mo and low Mo.

U.S. lawmakers tend to organize sub-party groups focusing on regions, ideologies, policies, and foreign affairs. Examples include the conservative Freedom Caucus loyal to Trump and the Congressional Black Caucus promoting the interests of African Americans. Then how do these legislative groups affect the making of U.S. foreign policy? Paying special attention to the Korea caucus in U.S. Congress, we have analyzed the sources and processes of congressional caucus and foreign policy and have learned that structures and activities of the caucuses differ from one another. The Korea caucus seems to be a bipartisan group that focuses on issues such as trade, travel, and troubles provoked by Pyongyang. However, the Korea caucus is not really a solid voting bloc for policy alternatives; it is instead more of a constituency-oriented legislative group that prioritizes local interests. This research underscores the need for systematic and comprehensive study of U.S. legislative politics and foreign policy.

우리나라를 IT 선도국가로 우뚝 세울 '유비쿼터스 IT코리아 포럼(Ubiquitous IT Korea Forum,약칭 u-Korea 포럼)'이 지난달 15일 공식 출범했다. 이날 창립총회에서는 오길록 한국전자통신연구원(ETRI)원장이 u-Korea 포럼 초대의장으로 한국네트워크연구조합 최승태 전무가 감사로 각각 선임됐다. 또 실질적인 포럼 운영을 위해 이성국 u-Korea 포럼 준비위원장(ETRI 정보화기술연구소장)과 유한용 삼성종합기술원 전무, 장성환 KT 경영연구소장, 오해석 숭실대학교 교수, 한수용 SK 경영경제연구소 상무 등이 참여하는 운영위원회도 구성 됐다.u-Korea 포럼의 초대 의장으로 선임된 오길록 ETRI 원장을 만나 유비쿼터스 사회의 특징과 이를 위한 각계의 역할에 대해 들어보는 시간을 가졌다.

본 논문은 u-방범서비스와 유용성 및 시민만족의 관계에 대한 연구이다. 독립변수로 u-방범서비스요인을, 매개변수로 유용성을, 종속변수로 시민만족으로 구성하였다. SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석, 경로분석을 실시하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, u-방범 서비스 요인이 유용성에 정적 영향을 미친다. 즉, '공공안전', '시스템품질', '서비스품질' 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 유용성은 높다. 둘째 u-방범 서비스 요인이 시민만족에 정적 영향을 미친다. 즉, '공공안전', '시스템품질', '서비스품질' 활동이 잘 이루어질수록 시민만족은 높다. 셋째, 유용성이 시민만족에 정적 영향을 미친다. 즉, "경제유용성", "안전유용성"이 향상될수록 시민만족은 높다. 넷째, u-방범 서비스는 유용성 및 시민만족에 직간접적인 영향을 미친다. 즉, 유용성은 u-방범 서비스와 시민만족을 매개하는 중요한 변수이다.

U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축사업은 U-Eco City사업 단의 타 핵심과제에서 개발된 요소기술과 타 연구과제의 기술을 테스트베드에 적용하여 각 기술의 현장 적용 시 문제점을 파악하고 보완체계를 수립해 나감으로써 기술의 완성도를 높이고자 하는 것이 목표이다. 이와 함께 테스트베드 구축의 경험을 바탕으로 국내 지방자치단체 및 해외 시장에 U-Eco City 건설 경험을 체계화하여 이를 판매하고자 하는 목표가 있다. 이를 위해서는 U-Eco City 적용 기술 평가, U-Eco City 테스트베드 대상지에 대한 종합시설계획 수립, 상세계획 수립, U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축 및 모니터링 등 전 과정의 경험과 지식을 체계화하고, 이를 국내 및 국외 시장에 적용할 수 있는 U-Eco City 구축 가이드라인의 작성이 필요하다. U-Eco City 테스트베드 구축의 1차년도 연구목적은 U-Eco City 구축 가이드라인 작성을 위한 기초연구를 수행하는 것으로 기존 U-City 추진상의 문제점을 분석하고, 생태도시와 U-City와의 연계성을 파악하였으며, U-City 구축 단계를 체계화하고, 단계별 고려사항을 정리하였다.

The construction project of the Kijang research reactor (KJRR), which is the second research reactor in Korea, has been launched. The KJRR was designed to use, for the first time, U-Mo fuel. Plate-type U-7 wt.% Mo/Al-5 wt.% Si, referred to as U-7Mo/Ale5Si, dispersion fuel with a uranium loading of $8.0gU/cm^3$, was selected to achieve higher fuel efficiency and performance than are possible when using $U_3Si_2/Al$ dispersion fuel. To qualify the U-Mo fuel in terms of plate geometry, the first miniplates [HANARO Miniplate (HAMP-1)], containing U-7Mo/Al-5Si dispersion fuel ($8gU/cm^3$), were fabricated at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute and recently irradiated at HANARO. The PIE (Post-irradiation Examination) results of the HAMP-1 irradiation test were analyzed in depth in order to verify the safe in-pile performance of the U-7Mo/Al-5Si dispersion fuel under the KJRR irradiation conditions. Nondestructive analyses included visual inspection, gamma spectrometric mapping, and two-dimensional measurements of the plate thickness and oxide thickness. Destructive PIE work was also carried out, focusing on characterization of the microstructural behavior using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. Electron probe microanalysis was also used to measure the elemental concentrations in the interaction layer formed between the U-Mo kernels and the matrix. A blistering threshold test and a bending test were performed on the irradiated HAMP-1 miniplates that were saved from the destructive tests. Swelling evaluation of the U-Mo fuel was also conducted using two methods: plate thickness measurement and meat thickness measurement.

Recently, developing U-City as an integrated set of ubiquitous spaces has been regarded as a promising field in realizing ubiquitous computing technology. However, well-organized requirement analyses of U-City to declare what kinds of ubiquitous space services are needed and which ubiquitous computing technology should be incorporated to come up with the needs are still insufficient. Hence, the aims of this Paper are to Propose a set of unique U-City construction philosophies and to analyze which services Should be offered in the ubiquitous Space services in U-Cities. A field survey to the citizens who are potential end users of the ubiquitous space services was conducted to analyze the success factors of U-City using CSF methodology. Focused group interview with professionals in the field of ubiquitous computing technology in Korea was then performed to identify the relationship of the ubiquitous space services and the critical success factors.
