블랙 컬러를 활용한 메이크업의 이미지 유형별 디자인 요소 특징 (Analysis on Image Types and Design Element Qualities of Contemporary Black Make-up)

  • Black has been the most important color of all since the ancient times when the recognition of black roused, as well as during most of the eras; and can especially be said as the main color which controlled the chronicles of fashion. The purpose of the study was to broaden the application of black color image make-up by inquiring into make-up design elemental characteristics of lines and textures, after classifying magazine illustrations and advertisement make-up images using black. The photos which made effective use of black among fashion illustrations, magazine advertisements after 2001 were classified in to each type, and make-up expression method and characteristics according to design element of each image type was analyzed. The conclusion of such study was the following. 'Erotic image' showed contrast effect between eye make-up and lip color by using pale tone or red color. 'Mannish image' emphasized form and texture of eyebrow by restraining the colors of eyelids with natural brown tone eye make-up; 'Modern image' expressed vague eyebrow to bring the sensation of the direction of eye shadow on eyelids and eye line as well as slant line to relief. 'Kitsch image' showed free and light imagery by creating unique hair style with various colors; expressing lips mostly with colors similar to skin tone or by restraining colors on lips. 'Decadence image' showed messy and foul sensation with unstandardized eye make-up and matt skin of shimmer, glossy and pale tone, also with black colored lips; 'Retro image' expressed reinterpretation of images from 1920${\sim}$1960 to contemporary styles.

한국 담수산 Gammarus (Crustacea, Amphipoda , Gammaridae)의 2 신종 (Two New Species of Freshwater Gammarus (Crustacea, Amphipoda, Gammaridae) from South Korea)

  • Kim과 Lee(1977) 그리고 Lee and Kim(1980)이 Gammarus sobaegensis의 변이종으로 취급했던 우이동에서 채집된 type2, 제주도에서 채집된 type7 그리고 경기도 왕방산에서 채집된 type3을 재검토한 결과 각각 독립된 종으로 확인되어 각각 G.kyonggiensis와 G. wangbangensis로 명명한다. 이로써 한국 담수산 Gammarus는 총 8종이 된다.

눈 형태에 따른 스모키 메이크업의 감성 이미지 (Analysis of emotional images according to eyes shapes and smoky makeup tone)

  • 한국인의 전형적인 3가지 유형의 눈 모양 (표준 눈, 작고 외겹 눈, 올라간 눈)에 대해 명암을 변화시킨 5가지 스모키 메이크업 일러스트레이션의 이미지를 시각적 감성언어를 사용하여 체계적으로 분석하였다. 눈의 형태와 스모키 메이크업의 돈 변화(아이 쉐도우의 명암 조절)에 따라 다양한 이미지들을 표현할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이들 스모키 메이크업 일러스트레이션들의 이미지에 대한 메이크업 전공학생과 전문가 집단의 인식은 대부분 일치하였으나, 메이크업에 대한 테크닉 구사 능력과 식견의 차이뿐만 아니라 세대 차이 등으로 인해 몇몇 일러스트레이션들에 대해서는 뚜렷한 인식의 차이가 있었다. 스모키 메이크업 일러스트레이션 자극물을 통하여 느껴지는 다양한 감성언어를 눈 형태와 스모키 메이크업의 톤 변화에 따라 느끼는 감성반응을 정리한 메이크업 이미지 포지셔닝 맵을 제시하였다. 무 메이 크업, 소프트 스모키, 면적 스모키에 대한 두 집단의 연상이미지는 각각 부드럽고 따뜻한, 부드럽고 정적 도시적, 차갑고 심플한 것으로 동일하게 평가 되었다. 반면에 면적 스모키에 대한 연상이미지는 인공적인 것(전문가 집단)과 선명하고 돋보이는 것(전공학생 집단)으로 다르게 평가되었다. 어두운 톤(dark)의 면적 스모키는 두 집단 모두 대체적으로 역동적이라는 감성평가가 나왔다. 눈 모양에 따른 메이크업 포지셔닝 맵은 스모키 메이크업을 통해 표현하고자 하는 다양한 이미지에 대한 기준을 제시하였다. 추후 다양한 눈 모양에 따른 이미지 포지셔닝 맵을 통하여 이미지 감성을 정량화 할 수 있는 기반이 될 것이다.

전력용 기기의 예방진단을 위한 부분방전측정 (The measurement of partial discharge for preventive diagnosis in power machinery)

  • The preventive diagnosis technique for power system is being highlighted as a research area for deterioration of insulation in machinery because of high-voltage power system. We make efforts to develop not only diagnosis of aging state but also detection of defects in the initial stage from preventive diagnosis technique. Especially, partial discharge is actively studied as a non-destructive diagnosis technique and very useful because partial discharge measurement reduces damage than conventional diagnosis technique. The loaded stress during this test is smaller than that of other diagnosis techniques. But the continuous research for various complicated analysis method is required because partial discharge has very small signals and its signals have complex forms. In this paper, the measurement of partial discharge was investigated and studied on many specimens with void. We made samples having artificial voids and measured partial discharge. In order to use as a practical diagnosis technique, we studied ways of measurement, measured illustrations and types of partial discharge which could be used in order to diagnose defects of power machinery.

The TMO structuring scheme is a general-style components structuring scheme and supports design of all types of component including hard real time 1 objects and non real time objects within one general structure.

"Misery Collaterals" as Poor Angiographic Findings - Definition, Classification, and Practical Application -

  • Objective : Unique Internal carotid artery angiographic findings have been found especially in very poor grade aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage[SAH] patients before and during the endovascular coiling. The author investigates their patterns and classifies them into lour subtypes. Methods : Among Hunt&Hess grade IV, V SAH patients, the author could gather eight patients who showed abnormal intracranial circulation in cerebral catheter-based angiography. Results : The author introduces new term 'misery collaterals' first and has classified them into four types with the case illustrations. Type 1 is the worst condition defined as almost no intracranial circulation. Type 2 is the condition of little intracranial circulation with contrast filling just only at vessels of brain base, type 3 is of no or little cortical circulation with contrast filling at bilateral large vessels of brain base through circle of Willis channel and type 4 is of visible bilateral cortical circulation but delayed intracranial circulation time. The prognosis of these eight patients showed misery collaterals were disappointed. Conclusion : These finding can be used as the supportive information in deciding a management plan in poor grade SAH patients.

아동의 심리발달과 도서선호의 변화 (A Study on the Relationship of Children's Development and Book Preference)

  • The purpose of this study is (a) to identify physical and content elements of children's books that seem to interest second and fifth graders to read, and (b) to observe how the influence of those elements on children's reading interest shifts as children develop. For the purpose of this study, children's books are classified into two groups: 'books of low preference' and 'books of high preference' as determined by second graders, and fifth graders' library circulation record in the library chosen as the sample for the present study. The physical and content elements of the books belonging to these two groups are analyzed and compared. Main findings and conclusions made in this study are summarised as follows: (1) The physical elements of children's books which have significant relationship with second graders' reading preference are illustration quantity, size of types, space between lines, and size of the book. (2) The content elements of children's books which have significant relationship with second graders' reading preference are the readability level of sentences, and the sex of heroes. (3) The physical elements of children's books which have significant relationship with fifth graders' reading preference are illustration quantity, illustration styles, and size of the book. (4) The content elements of children's books which have significant relationship with fifth graders' reading preference are the readability level, the sex of heroes, subject matters, themes and the environmental settings as the background of stories. (5) Reading preference of the pupils at the second and fifth grades are influenced by the quantity of illustration. Second grade pupils prefer reading books which contain a larger quantity of illustrations, whereas 5th grade pupils prefer books which contain less quantity of illustrations. (6) The relationship between second graders' reading preference and the illustration style are rejected at the $10\%$ significance level. A strong relationship, however, appears to exist between 5th graders' reading preference and the illustration style. The 5th grade pupils prefer more realistic illustrations, while cartoons and semi-abstract drawings do not appeal to them. (7) The type size, and space between lines which have had great influence on the book preference of 2nd grade pupils influence little on the 5th grade pupils book preference. (8) Second grade pupils prefer the book of a small Size, whereas 5th grade pupils whose reading taste has developed at a primary stage prefer the book of a large size beyond a certain standard. (9) Second grade pupils prefer reading books which can be easily read, whreeas 5th grade pupils prefer reading books containing difficult sentences. (10) Second grade pupils and the 5th grade pupils both prefer books in accordance with the sex of there heroes. (11) Relationship between second graders' reading preference and the subject matters are rejected at the 10% significance level. A strong relationship, however, appears to exist between 5th graders' reading preference and the subject matter. Fifth grade pupils prefer reading books of which the themes are mystery, exploration and adventure. (12) The theme of books is not proved to relate with the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils, but it is closely related with the book preference of 5th grade pupils. Fifth grade pupils prefer reading books which contain exploratory stories. (13) Second grade pupils are not influenced by the environmental setting of the story, but 5th grade pupils prefer reading stories with the environmental setting in the air. (14) The quantity of illustrations is the element influencing most on .the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils, followed by the space between the lines, which influences least on the book preference of the 5th grade pupils. (15) The physical element influencing most on the book preference of the 2nd grade pupils is the quantity of the illustrations. The physical element which has the most strong influence on the book preference of the 5th graders is illustration styles. (16) The content elements which has much influence on the book preference of the 5th grade pupils are certain kinds of characteristics of heroes. In case of the 2nd grade pupils book preference, striking evidence of such characteristics of heroes is not traced.

초등 과학영재 학생의 자유탐구 보고서의 시각화 자료 활용 실태 분석 - 인포그래픽을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Use of Visualization Materials in Free Inquiry Reports for Scientifically-Gifted Elementary School Students Focusing on Infographics)

  • 이 연구에서는 초등 과학영재 학생의 자유탐구 보고서에 포함된 시각화 자료의 활용 실태를 인포그래픽에 초점을 두고 분석하였다. 이를 위해 2017년부터 2019년까지 서울특별시에 소재한 1개 과학영재교육원 소속 4-6학년 학생 78명을 선정하였다. 그리고 이 학생들의 자유탐구 보고서 60개에 포함된 시각화 자료를 인포그래픽 활용 측면에서 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 시각화 자료는 대부분 일반삽화였으며, 인포그래픽은 매우 적게 나타났다. 또한 인포그래픽을 구성하는 것보다 기존 인포그래픽을 그대로 인용하는 경우가 많았다. '탐구단계'별로 살펴보면 일반삽화나 학생이 구성한 인포그래픽은 '탐구 방법'이나 '탐구결과' 부분에서 많이 나타났으나, 기존 인포그래픽을 인용한 경우는 '이론적 배경'에서 많이 나타났다. '시각화 표현 방법'에 따른 인포그래픽 유형 중에서는 '구조형'과 '프로세스형'이 비교적 많이 나타났으며, 이보다는 적지만 '통계형'과 '비교·분석형'도 적지 않게 나타났다. '구성 수준'에 따른 인포그래픽 유형 중에서는 '단순재구성', '단순배치', '재구성'이 비교적 많이 나타났다. 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논하였다.
