The influence of consumers' personality types on perceived risk to loyalty and purchase intentions - Focusing on the judging and perceiving types of MBTI - (소비자의 성격유형별 위험지각이 충성도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - MBTI의 판단유형과 인식유형을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of the study was to compare two different MBTI personality types by evaluating the influence of perceived risk on brand and store loyalty and purchase intention. 340 questionnaires were used for the analysis. For statistical analysis, SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were performed, and frequency tests, reliability analyses and Structural Equation Modeling were used. The results of SEM analysis, confirmed that one question of brand loyalty and one question of store loyalty were inappropriate for this study. Thus, these two questions were removed and the research model was modified. To determine the goodness of fit of the research model, convergent validity was tested. Most items fell into the goodness of fit, and the average coefficient was fulfilled. According to the results of a path coefficient analysis for the Judging type, perceived risk has a significant influence on brand loyalty and brand loyalty also affected store loyalty. Furthermore, brand loyalty and store loyalty have a significant effect on purchase intentions, but perceived risk did not affect brand loyalty for the Perceiving type. Brand loyalty influences store loyalty and purchase intentions, but store loyalty did not influence purchase intentions. As a result of this study, it is concluded that considering consumers' personality types is critical to developing strategies that enhance brand loyalty.

Analysis on the Health Condition, Meal Type and Snack Preference of University Students in Chungnam Province (충남지역 대학생의 건강상태, 식사유형 및 간식의 선호도 분석)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the eating habits and preference of snacks for students in Chungnam province. Questionnaires were collected from 333 students, which were divided into male and female, food nutrition majors and non-majors, and weight groups according to BMI. The results obtained were as follows; 1. 62.8% of students responded that they were healthy. A significant difference on the health question was found between male and female students (p<.05). Male students responded more positively to the question related to health than the females, saying they felt healthy (71.1%). There was no significance between the different majors, but a significant difference was found in weight groups compared to normal groups (p<.05). 2. 72.1% of respondents enjoyed omnivorous meals. The significant differences were not found in gender groups and major groups. However, there was a significant difference between the weights of the students (p<.01). 3. Most of the students liked sweet foods (42.3%). The significant difference was found in gender groups for food tastes. The male students preferred spicy foods (37.0%), but the females preferred sweet foods (49.5%). Taste for the major and weight groups was not significantly different. 4. 50.5% of respondents answered that they frequently ate snacks. The significance was found in gender groups (p<.01). The females had a higher intake of snacks than the males. The significant difference for taste was not shown in the major group, but was found in the weight groups (p<.05). 5. Students preferred snacks and candy (16.8%). The males liked dairy products (19.3%), while the females preferred snacks and candy (23.7%). Students majoring in food nutrition have a tendency to prefer snacks (32.1%). Appropriate calorie intake and desirable eating habits should be recommended for healthy control and maintenance of students through eating nutritionally balanced foods.

A study on the subjectivity of college students' participation in media education

  • The aim of this study is to investigate college students' opinion on participation in media education. The research question is as follows: first, what is the college students' perceptions who participated in media education? Second, what are the differences among the perceptions of college students who participated in media education? To answer these research questions, we used Q-methodology, which is more useful in organizing subjectivity types and opinions of students, both in explaining and sorting of data by characteristic and personal opinion. As a result, two types were found; type 1 is the active participation type that focuses on the active participation in media education as a productive tool and teaching method, as well as diminishing the current controls and restrictions on its use in education. On the other hand, type 2 is the growing adaptive type and is positive for the future development of media education in a transitional role, while they think that current media education for college students is not qualitative yet, a productive tool and the quality of the information message is lacking, and so on.

Evaluation Model of Technology Protection Competency customized for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (중소기업 맞춤형 기술보호 수준평가 모델 연구)

  • In today's highly competitive environment, the importance of technology protection cannot be overemphasized. To evaluate technology protection competency of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs), Government has conducted surveys every year but its effectiveness is still in question. To enhance the effectiveness of technology protection for SMEs, a customized evaluation model of technology protection competency has been suggested in this study. Surveys are conducted to measure the relative importance of evaluation areas that can be influenced by the size and type of business. The analysis shows that there exists significant differences between evaluation areas. This study suggests that the effectiveness of technology protection can be enhanced by utilizing a customized evaluation model depending on the size and type of business. Also, the proposed model can be used for SMEs to identify and enhance their weakness in technology protection. Overall, it is expected that the proposed model can be effectively used to protect valuable technologies in various SMEs.

  • Since 1960' s. aims of science education have changed from attainment of scientific concepts. principles and laws to improvement of science process(or inquiry) skills. According to the science education philosophy like this. our nation has adopted improvement and evaluation of science process(or inquiry) skills in science education. The purpose of this study was to examine the performance of high school students on 4 types of multiple choice items used to access students ability to identify independent and dependent variables. Stimulus materials were either a question focusing on the relationship between two variables. a hypothesis. a description of an experiment. or a description of results of an experiment. Student performance on these item types was compared to this performance on a standard Piagetian interview task of variable identification. The results of the study included: (1) the "hypothesis" type was the most difficult, while the "question" type appeared to be the easiest; (2) the "procedure" item type had a higher correlation with the total interview than any other item type. Among conclusions reached in this study was that although all four item types operated similarly. they did not correlate very highly with the performance assessment by interview.

LED have many problem as narrow light view angle, high price, drift phenomenon of color coordinate, high heating problem for lower power, lower weight and small size. So, many researches have continued in a illumination as LED module type. in this problem, heating problem is very important and difficult and that is caused in decreasing phenomenon of brightness and drift phenomenon of color coordinate. so the problem of heating is urgent question for illumination of LED. In this paper, structural design of PCB changed as two type for solving the heating problem. also the properties of heating is analysed and optical properties is measured with heating image camera and spectrometer according to change in this design.

  • Since 1971, the aptitude test for domestic train drivers has been long maintained. With the revision of the Railroad Safety Act in 2006, the aptitude test was changed from the type of written and skill test into the type of question-and-answer and reaction test. However, the main structure of the test was not changed. In this paper, we focus our attention on the improvement of the present aptitude test. We surveyed on two groups, one is the railroad expert group and another is train driver's group, questioning about the importance of the domestic and foreign aptitude test items. Based on the analysis, we suggest desirable aptitude test system for the railroad safety.

  • The most important question is how to use which kind of switch in pulsed power generation. There are many kinds of commercial closing switches, which have advantages and disadvantages. The most popular closing switch is the spark gap, but it has a disadvantage in life time, because of erosion of electrodes by arc heating. The Rotary Arc Gap (RAG) switch, especially Walkie-Edgar type RAG switch, was proposed to solve such problems in spark gap. It has a simple and special structure for arc moving caused from self-induced electromagnetic force, because moving arc makes less erosion on the electrodes. In this study we have made an Walkie-Edgar type RAG switch, tested the switching with capacitive energy storage system, and measured rotating arc speed in different peak current.
