Antioxodative substances in Mulberry leaves were examined. Antioxidative substances in Mulberry leaves were extracted by 80% methanol agueous solution. Antioxidative activity of extract was determined by examining hydrogen donating ability on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and the inhibitory effect on the formation of the peroxide from Linoleic acid in the test tube at $50^{\circ}C$. Antioxidative substance were, then, separated and indentified by thin layer chromatography(TLC), UV-Vis spectrum and High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) methods. Hydrogen donating ability on DPPH and antioxidative ability on linoleic acid of the extracted antioxidative substance were higher than those of 100ppm butylated hydroxy toluene(BHT). The extracted antioxidative substances were separated by TLC using ethylacetate : chloroform : formic acid : water(8 : 1 : 1 : 1 v/v) as a solvent, and a spot at Rf=0.35 was detected. The spot was scraped from the plate, and extrated by methanol. The extract was analyzed by UV-Vis spetra and HPLC, and chlorogenic acid was identified as a antioxidative substance.
Model equations for the gas permeation through a ceramic composite membrane were derived for examining the existence of crack, the reproducibility, and the microstructural properties of composite membranes. From the results of analyzing the nitrogen permeability data through alumina-tube supported TiO2 and SiO2 composite membranes, the extent of cracking, and the formation and structure of membrane top-layers were modelled. It was proved that the crack-free and reproducible composite membranes could be easily prepared only by the pore-filled coating within pores of the support in the sol-gel coating process.
Ignition of $NH_3-O_2-Ar$ mixtures have been studied behind reflected shock waves over the temperature range of 1600-2300 K and the pressures in the range of 1.1-1.6 atm. The pressure profile and the radiation emitted behind the shock waves have been monitored to give empirical correlations between ignition delay times and the mixture concentrations with the experimental conditions. On the basis of this data, several kinetic mechanisms proposed for ammonia oxidation at high temperatures have been tested. The ignition delay times obtained from the mechanism proposed by Miller and Smook were in good agreement with our experimental results.
The Efficacy of PSB-2061, was investigated in comparision with predinisolone in acetic acid and Picrylsulfonic acid solution (TNBS)-induced rat inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) for 5 days. 5 % TNBS solution were administered with polyethylene (P.E) tube inserted to rats intracolon, which causing colitis to the rats. The TNBS control group (the saline treated colitic rat) exhibited ulceration and inflammation of the distal colon with formation of granuloma and pathologic connections. We checked the inflammatory parameters like rat's weight, food intake quantity change during administration. After 5 days, we sacrificed the rats and checked the colon's length, ulcer and pathologic condition. Oral treatment with PSB-2061 resulted in significant recovery of macroscopic parameters like weight and diet intake change. Especially, PSB-2061 extract had a more potent effect than $mesalazine^{(R)}$ on macroscopic colonic damage score. We can suggest that PSB extract could be a promising drug in the treatment of IBD.
When X-radiation passes through the human body; some is transmitted some is truly absorbed, and some is scattered. In diagnostic radiography, scattered radiation can reach the film if no protective measures are taken. This scattered ray increased density which not necessary for image formation. We studied about absorbtion, scattered ray and the way of get rid of scatter ray according to the x-ray tube kilovoltage and obtained results as follow; 1. Absorbtion ray increased proportion to KVP. 2. Scattered ray increased at high KVP and thick object. 3. Secondary radiation of the primary increased at high KVP and thick object. 4. Remove .ate of scattered ray decreased at thick object and increase at low KVP make use of 6:1 grid ratio
The effects of selenization pressure on the structural, optical and electrical properties of the CIGS thin films prepared by RF magnetron sputtering using a single quaternary target were investigated. At selenization pressures lower than atmospheric pressure, CIGS thin films formed non-stoichiometric compounds due to deficiencies of Se vapor. In contrast, when selenization process was conducted at above atmospheric pressure, the residence time of Se vapor inside the tube increased so that the Se element could be incorporated within vacant sites of the CIGS structure, resulting in the formation of stoichiometric CIGS thin films. High quality CIGS thin films could be obtained when the selenization process was performed at pressures greater than atmospheric and $550^{\circ}C$.
Bow shock formation, in case the supersonic solar wind flow is hindered by the atmosphere of Mars, is investigated. The atoms newly ionized from the extensive neutral atmosphere of Mars are loaded to the solar wind. By the conservation of momentum, the solar wind velocity is decreased. Then the supersonic flow velocity drops to the subsonic flow velocity in front of Mars at certain region, which is called the bow shock. The location of Mars subsolar bow shock is highly varying in the range of 1.3 to 2.5 Rm. Martian bow shock location is estimated by one-dimensional flux tube equations reduced from full three-dimensional MHD equations. The variability of Mars bow shock location effected by the solar wind conditions is studied. It is evident that the solar wind dynamic pressure change is able to make the Mars bow shock location variable.
An Experimental study was conducted on spray combustion using dual swirlers at different outlet angle; co-swirl and counter-swirl. To understand the characteristics of turbulent spray combustion of dual swirl flow (DSF), the axial helical annular vaned swirlers with various swirl ratios and combination of angle and direction were designed. and temperature measurements of a rapidly thermocouple insertion and measurements of soot volume fraction and microrstructure using thermophoretic sampling particle diagnostic (TSPD) as TEM were carried out. The NOx, $CO_2$, $O_2$, etc. was analyzed using emission gas analyzer. The results show that flame stability were maintained under very lean condition. for both co-swirl and counter-swirl case. And though Counter-swirl case kept the higher temperature region compared to co-swirl case, Counter-swirl combustion represented less NOx emission and soot formation than co-swirl case.

Deep neck infection is an infection in the potential spaces and fascial planes of the neck, either with abscess formation or cellulitis. In the preantibiotics era most cases of deep neck infection were secondary to an oropharyngeal infection. Moreover, today manupulation of intubation tube and gastroenteroscopy may cause deep neck infection by iatrogenic trauma. We experience 1 case of deep neck infection which originate from pharyngeal penetrating injury following gastroenteroscopy.

A system of anodic process of aluminum thin film has implemented for nanofabrication. The manufactured equipment consists of three main parts: chiller, reaction bath and power supply. The chiller module consists of refrigeration compressor, copper tube and coolant with a thermostat. The reaction bath has kept in same temperature as a thermodynamic canonical ensemble system during the anodic reaction process. The magnetic bar has stirred oxalic acid in bath for uniform reaction. The DC power supply has applied into two electrodes, aluminum for anode and platinum for cathode in the oxalic acid. The anodization process results in the formation of nanoporous thin films.
