Incidence of incisional hernia following liver surgery for colorectal liver metastases. Does the laparoscopic approach reduce the risk? A comparative study

  • Backgrounds/Aims: No reports to compare incisional hernia (IH) incidence between laparoscopic and open colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) resections have previously been made. This is the first comparative study. Methods: Single-center retrospective review of patients who underwent CRLM surgery between January 2011 and December 2018. IH relating to liver surgery was confirmed by computed tomography. Patients were divided into laparoscopic liver resection (LLR) and open liver resection (OLR) groups. Data collection included age, sex, presence of diabetes mellitus, steroid intake, history of previous hernia or liver resection, subcutaneous and peri-renal fat thickness, preoperative creatinine and albumin, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score, major liver resection, surgical site infection, synchronous presentation, and preoperative chemotherapy. Results: Two hundred and forty-seven patients were included with a mean follow-up period of 41 ± 29 months (mean ± standard deviation). Eighty seven (35%) patients had LLR and 160 patients had OLR. No significant difference in the incidence of IH between LLR and OLR was found at 1 and 3 years, respectively ([10%, 19%] vs. [10%, 19%], p = 0.95). On multivariate analysis, previous hernia history (hazard ratio [HR], 2.22; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.56-4.86) and subcutaneous fat thickness (HR, 2.22; 95% CI, 1.19-4.13) were independent risk factors. Length of hospital stay was shorter in LLR (6 ± 4 days vs. 10 ± 8 days, p < 0.001), in comparison to OLR. Conclusions: In CRLM, no difference in the incidence of IH between LLR and OLR was found. Previous hernia and subcutaneous fat thickness were risk factors. Further studies are needed to assess modifiable risk factors to develop IH in LLR.

식품영양표시에 대한 소비자 의식조사 -활용도, 인지도, 신뢰도, 만족도, 필요도를 중심으로- (Consumer's practicality, acknowledgement, trust, satisfaction, necessity degrees about food nutrition labeling system)

  • The study undertakes an examination of nutrition labelling system and offers a strategic framework for improvement of the system in Korean context. Thus this study includes a review of Korean current nutrition labelling system (NLS), development of a strategy or a further study for its revision of NLS, and a suggestion of revised nutrition labelling guidelines. Participants were 600 university students in Busan and were asked to fill in a questionnaire. The data collected were processed with the SPSS statistical program to produce its frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation with One-Way Anova and Duncan Test. The findings are as follows: the levels of consumer's practical use and awareness of NLS are low, the levels of their trust and satisfaction and their necessity for NLS are low too. Consequently, the consumer's attitudes to NLS are not related to nutrition labelling method(? system).

전자상거래 인증서비스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electronic Commerce Assurance Service)

  • In December 1999, the AICPA introduced WebTrust, a electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web, in order to effect consumer confidence into electronic commerce. Shortly afterwards, CPA associations of other advanced nations, such as Canada, Australia, also adopted this service. This study focuses on introduction of electronic commerce assurance service of ensuring safe trading on the web. WebTrust assurance service expected to be the international standard in electronic commerce in the near future and not only as a source of income for domestic accounting firms, which have simpler income structure than the international counterparts, but also as catalyst for stimulating electronic commerce. The findings of the study are expected to contribute to accounting practice, academy of accounting and electronic commerce firms in the following ways. Domestically, as Korea is considering using the electronic commerce assurance service, this study will help promote adoption of WebTrust assurance service. This study has shown, in the midst of declining income of accounting firms by audit, a way to increase their audit boundary.

투자신탁 이용 고객의 저축 상품에 관한 지식과 영향변수 (The Knowledge about Savings of Customers Who Utilize Investiment Trust Company and Related Factors)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge about savings of customers who utilize Investment Trust Company and to analyze the factors affecting it. The data for the analysis were collected by structured questionnaires and consisted of 191 customers who utilize Investment Trust Company. Descriptive. Descriptive Statistics including percentage, frequency, means, and standard derivation, t-test, one-way ANOVA with Scheffe test, multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The following is a summary of major findings. 1) The customers knowledge about savings showed generally low-level. Especially the knowledge about tax and regulation of savings were the areas shown the lowest level. 2) The age, marital status, education and occupation of customers and total period of utilizing company were the factors affecting the knowledge of customers in the one-way ANOVA analysis. 3) The result of regression analysis indicated that age of customers and total periods of utilizing company were the significant predictors of customers’knowledge. These two variables explained 25.77% of variance of customers’knowledge about savings.

HMR 브랜드 이미지가 구매의도 및 브랜드 충성도에 미치는 영향: 브랜드 신뢰의 매개역할을 중심으로 (Effects of Brand Image on Purchase Intention and Brand Loyalty: Focused on Mediating Role of the Brand Trust)

  • The purposes of this study were to verify the effects of HMR (Home Meal Replacement) brand image on purchase intention and brand loyalty. In addition, the mediating role of brand trust was also examined between purchase intention and brand loyalty. This survey was conducted with those who have bought HMR in Seoul and Kyonggi area, Korea, using a convenience sampling method. After a total of 300 responses were collected, 275 were used for the analyses. Both standard and hierarchical multiple regression analyses were conducted to test the hypotheses. The results are as follows. First, it was found that emotional image had an effect on purchase of HMR but that social image did not have an effect on purchase of HMR. Second, purchase intention of HMR significantly impacted brand loyalty. Third, brand trust of HMR was found to mediate the relationship between purchase intention and brand loyalty of HMR. These findings provide practical implication for researchers and marketer regarding relationship marketing strategy in the HMR context.

  • 최근 클라우드의 사용량이 해마다 증가하고 기업 내 원격 근무가 새로운 근무 형태 중 하나로 자리 잡으면서 클라우드 기반 원격 근무 환경의 보안이 중요해졌다. 내부 네트워크 안에 있는 모든 것은 안전하다고 가정하는 기존의 경계 기반 모델의 한계로 인해 제로트러스트 도입이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 NIST 및 DoD는 제로트러스트 아키텍처 관련 표준을 발간하였지만, 해당 표준의 보안요구사항은 추상적인 수준에서 논리적 아키텍처만을 기술하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 OpenStack 클라우드에 대한 위협모델링을 수행하여 NIST 및 DoD 표준에 비해 보다 상세한 보안요구사항을 제시하고자 한다. 이후 본 연구팀은 해당 요구사항에 대한 검증을 위해 상용 클라우드 서비스들에 대한 보안성 분석을 수행하였다. 보안성 분석 수행 결과 본 연구팀에서는 각 클라우드 서비스가 만족하지 못하는 보안요구사항을 식별하였다. 본 연구팀은 제로트러스트가 적용된 클라우드 서비스에 대한 잠재적 위협과 대응 방안을 제안하였으며, 이를 통해 안전한 제로트러스트 기반 원격 근무 환경을 구축하는데 도움이 되고자 한다.

기업의 사회적 책임 활동이 조직신뢰 및 노사관계에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the impact of corporate social responsibility on organizational trust and Labor-Management Relations)

  • 본 연구에서는 기업의 사회적 책임 활동의 영역을 넓혀 나가고 있는 국내 기업과 기관의 사회적 책임 활동이 해당 기업의 노사관계에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 검증해서, 기업의 사회적 책임 활동이 기업의 구성원으로 하여금 조직신뢰와 노사관계에 긍정적인 또는 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있다면, 기업이 취해야 할 정책적 또는 전략적 과제는 어떠한 것이 있을 수 있는가를 제언하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업이 사회적 책임활동을 함으로써 직원들의 조직에 대한 활동은 조직의 성과에 영향을 미치는 변수 중 하나인 노사관계에 부분적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기업구성원들의 조직신뢰의 향상은 노사관계에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 본 연구의 결과는 기존의 선행연구에서 다루어지지 않은 기업의 사회적 책임과 조직성과의 중요한 요소인 조직신뢰 및 노사관계간의 직 간접적 영향관계를 입증하였다.

Building Customer Loyalty In Digital Transaction Using QR Code: Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS)

  • Purpose: Increasing advancements in the technology industry are forcing people to become more accustomed to digital financial transaction activities. The need for fast and secure payment mechanisms has birthing new idea to digital financial transaction services. Along with increasing access to technology in digital payments, new service is developed in the form of digital wallets as the successor for electronic money. Research design, data and methodology: This research aims to find out whether using QR code as digital payment tool can build customer loyalty in consumers, especially to measure the factors of satisfaction, trust and commitment of customers to do payments with QR Codes. The QR code in this study is refer to the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) which was officially implemented by Bank Indonesia starting on January 1, 2020 as a means of payment for digital transactions nationally. The research method uses a quantitative approach by way of surveying questionnaires using Likert scale of 100 samples. Results: The hypothesis analysis proved that the variables of satisfaction, trust and commitment together have positive and significant influences on customer loyalty. Conclusion: This research found that there are high interest in Millennials to do transaction using QRIS because it is deemed to be more easy, quick and safe. If a customer achieves a level of loyalty in the usage of digital transaction using QRIS then cashless society lifestyle can be considered successful and can be used in the future.

HPLC를 이용한 감초 추출물의 당 분석법 연구 (The Study of Sugar Analysis in Licorice Extract by HPLC)

  • The study was carried out to develope quantitative analysis method of individual sugars in licorice extract. Individual sugars were analyzed by HPLC equipped with Refractive Index(RI) Detector. R values of sucrose and glucose were 1.0000 and R values of fructose and maltose were 0.9999. Standard calibration curve showed good linearity. Detection limit of sugars was in the range of 1.58 to 3.92 ${\mu}g$. Recovery rate of fructose, glucose, sucrose and maltose was $99.4\~102.2\%,\;92.3\~97.9\%,\;99.4\~102.0\%,\;91.1\~101.0$ respectively. Measure uncertainty was calculated to confirm trust and accuracy of analytical results. Main uncertainty factors were standard purity and HPLC replication injection. In $95\%$ trust level expanded uncertainty of sugars in licorice extract were fructose $1.98\pm0.047,\;glucose\;1.32\pm0.065,\;sucrose\;11.69\pm1.177,\;maltose\;1.06\pm0.042\;g/100\;g$.

소셜트러스트 기반의 소셜미디어 전담기구('소셜미디어위원회') 설립 방안 연구 (A Study on Establishing 'Social Media Committee' Based on the Social Trust)

  • 현재 정치 경제 사회 문화 등 모든 분야에 있어서 큰 영향력을 발휘하고 있는 소셜미디어(social media)를 이해할 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 소셜미디어 관련 정부 차원의 현재의 노력 점검을 통하여 소셜미디어의 올바른 활용과 이용자 권익 보호를 위한 정부의 실질적이고 적극적인 지원을 위해 소셜미디어 전담기구(가칭 '소셜미디어위원회') 수립을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 소셜미디어위원회의 소셜미디어 정책(Policy), 교육(Education), 기준(Standard) 등을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
