트리플 데이터베이스 단축 경로 이득 함수와 구성 인자 실험 분석 (Empirical Analysis on the Shortcut Benefit Function and its Factors for Triple Database)

  • 3-컬럼의 트리플 테이블로 구성되는 트리플 데이터베이스의 질의 처리는 고비용이 드는데, 단축 경로는 그 비용을 감소시키는 방법으로 알려졌다. 어떠한 단축 경로를 선택 구성할지는 주요한 문제이며, 질의 빈도를 기반으로 단축 경로 이득을 계산하는 방식이 주로 사용된다. 하지만 이러한 방식은 트리플 데이터의 추가 혹은 변경을 적절히 반영하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 질의 처리 시간 단축 측면뿐 아니라 경로 구축 및 유지 비용도 고려하는 이득 모델을 다룬다. 이득 모델은 이득 함수로 설계되어 단축 경로 선택 기법에 적용된다. 이득 함수 구성 인자가 미치는 영향을 실세계 트리플 데이터를 사용해 실험 분석한다.

Simple Method for the Local Stakeholdersto Evaluate and Select National REDD-plus Program: A Case Study of Indonesia

  • In order not to hinder the trend of promoting participatory forest management under the REDD-plus mechanism, we propose a simple method to support local stakeholders evaluating and selecting promising national programs as REDD-plus activities prior to the launch of activities. Program evaluation is done from the viewpoint of expectations for achieving (1) 'triple-benefit' consisting of emission reduction from mitigating deforestation and forest degradation, biodiversity conservation, and poverty alleviation, and (2) 'feasibility' when the programs would be practiced on the ground. The method is applicable for other countries.

  • Modernized GPS will have three frequencies modulated with three signals, which will be accessible to all users in the near future. This new frequency provides an opportunity to resolve the double differenced (DD) integer ambiguity very fast and with almost no baseline constraints. In order to study the performance of triple frequency system for Ambiguity Resolution (AR) over the medium baseline under different ionospheric levels, the Klobuchar Model was implemented and used in our triple simulation to generate the ionospheric delay. Furthermore, the White-Gaussian noise applying to distance-dependent parameters was added to the DD ionospheric delay. For medium baseline (defined as here 20 to 40kms), success rates of AR has been pretty improved. In this paper, the medium baseline AR strategies that take advantage of carrier phase measurement on the third frequency will be discussed.

관상동맥 약물 용출 스텐트 삽입 후 항혈소판제제 3제요법과 2제요법의 임상적 효과 비교 (Effect of Triple Compared to Dual Antiplatelet Therapy After Drug-Eluting Stent Implantation in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)

  • ACC/AHA/SCAI Guideline recommends for administration dual antiplatelet therapy after drug-eluting stent (DES) to prevent restenosis and stent thrombosis in patients with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Recently triple antiplatelet therapy including cilostazol is known to reduce restenosis and stent thrombosis significantly after DES implantation. However, there is lack of data providing the efficacy of triple antiplatelet therapy. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effects of the triple therapy after DES implantation compared with the dual therapy. This retrospective study collected data from medical charts of 251 patients who received DES implantation between Jul 2006 and Jun 2008. They received either dual antiplatelet therapy (N = 154 clopidogrel and aspirin; Dual group) or triple antiplatelet therapy (N = 97 cliostazol, clopidogrel and aspirin; Triple group). Major adverse cardiac event rates (MACE, included total death, myocardial infarction, target lesion revascularization) at 12 months, 24 months, stent thrombosis, rates of bleeding complications and adverse drug reactions were compared between these two groups. Compared with the dual group, the triple group had a similar incidence of the MACE rates at 24months (12.3% vs. 12.4%, p = 0.99). There is no difference in overall stent thrombosis between two groups (Dual group 2.6% vs. Triple group 4.1%, p = 0.5). Subgroup analysis showed that diabetic patients got more benefit in reducing MACE rates but, there is no statistical difference. Bleeding complications and adverse drug effects were not different significantly. As compared with dual antiplatelet therapy, triple antiplatelet therapy did not reduce the 12-months, 24-months MACE rates and stent thrombosis. Bleeding complications and adverse drug effects were not different.

서울시 저영향개발(LID) 시범 시설에 대한 편익 특성 연구 (Study of Benefit Characteristics for Low Impact Development (LID) Facilities demonstrated in Seoul Metropolitan)

  • 서울시는 '건강한 물순환 도시' 조성을 비전으로 선포하고 도시 물환경 악화에 따른 문제를 해결하기 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이를 위해 서울시는 빗물의 침투 및 저류 기능 등을 이용하는 저영향개발(LID) 시설의 설치를 확산시키기 위한 정책 및 제도 개선을 추진하고 있다. 이러한 저영향개발 시설은 공공이 선도하는 물순환 도시 조성과 이를 위한 빗물의 표면 유출 억제와 물이용 효율화를 목적으로 하고 있다. 또 악화된 물순환과 물환경을 회복하기 위해 다양한 저영향개발 시설이 설치 및 운영되고 있다. 그러나 이에 대한 체계적인 경제성 평가를 위한 편익 분석 방안은 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 저영향개발 시설의 경제적 환경적 사회적 편익을 다각적으로 분석하기 위해 저영향개발 시설별로 물 에너지 대기질 개선 기후변화 대응의 4개 카테고리별로 편익 분석항목을 선정하였다. 이러한 카테고리별 분류에 따른 직간접인 편익효과의 정량화 및 가치 평가 결과, 각 시설별로 연간 1,191원의 단위면적 당 편익이 발생하는 것으로 산정되었다. 분석 항목별 편익 분포 특성은 시설의 특성에 따라 다양한 것으로 나타났다(물: 30~90%, 에너지: 4~44%, 대기질 개선: <1~2%, 기후변화 대응: 5~22%). TBL 분석 결과, 시설별로 경제적 편익의 비중이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났으며(75~90%), 환경적 편익(<1~2%) 및 사회적 편익(9~24%)이 산정되었다. 향후, 현재의 개별 저영향개발 시설에 대한 편익 분석 방안을 기반으로 단지 및 지구단위의 물순환 연계 시스템이 적용될 경우, 도시 열섬 현상 및 홍수 재해 예방 등 저영향개발 시설 운영의 편익에 대한 시너지 효과 등을 평가할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Androgen Receptor Expression and its Correlation with Other Risk Factors in Triple Negative Breast Cancers: a Report from Western Iran

  • Background: Androgen receptors (ARs) are expressed in more than 70% of breast cancers (BCs) and have been implicated in BC pathogenesis. Some triple negative (TN)BC tumors express AR and may benefit from AR-targeted therapies. The aim of this study was to evaluate survival and the prevalence of AR expression and its correlation with other risk factors in triple negative BCs in women from Western Iran. Materials and Methods: In a retrospective study between 2009-2015, 41 patients with TNBC were referred to the Private Clinic of Oncology, Kermanshah city, Iran. ER, PR and AR-positive expression was defined as ${\geq}10%$ nuclear staining and also HER2 (2+), FISH was performed. Nuclear staining was considered representative for Ki67 and P53. The mean follow-up for the patients was 25 months. In this time, 5 patients died and 4 lost to follow-up were censored from survival analysis. Results: The mean age at diagnosis was 46.9 years (range, 24-71 years) and all patients were female. The OS rates for AR-positive and AR-negative patients were 90% and 85.1%, respectively, and the mean OS was 26.3 and 23.2 months. Therefore, there was no significant difference between the two groups (Hazard ratio: 0.580, 95% CI: 0.086-3.893, P=0.575). Conclusions: In TNBC patients, evaluation of AR status may provide additional information on prognosis and treatment. The results of studies showed that the prevalence AR expression may differ in the world and probably ethnicity can be an influencing factor.

이동하는 소수성 및 친수성 표면에서 액적의 동접촉각 측정 (Measurement of Dynamic Contact Angle of Droplet on Moving Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic Surfaces)

  • This study investigates dynamic wetting behaviors of a water droplet placed on surfaces with different wettability and nano-structures. Hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties on as-received silicon wafers were prepared by fabricating thin films of hydrophobic polymer and hydrophilic nanoparticles via layer-by-layer coating. Dynamic advancing contact angle of droplets on the prepared surfaces was measured at various moving velocities of triple contact line with a high-speed video camera. As advancing velocity of triple contact line increased, dynamic advancing contact angle on the as-received silicon and hydrophobic surfaces sharply increased up to $80^{\circ}$ in the range of order of mm/sec whereas the SiO2 nanoparticle-coated hydrophilic surface maintained low contact angles of about $30^{\circ}$ and then it gradually increased in the velocity range of order of hundred mm/sec. The improved dynamic wetting ability observed on the nanostructured hydrophilic surface can benefit the performance of various phase-change heat transfer phenomena under forced convective flow.

초고속인터넷 가입자망의 대역설계 (Bandwidth Dimensioning for High-Speed Internet Access Networks)

  • 최근 통신사업자들은 통신설비의 효율화 및 새로운 수익창출을 위해 하나의 공통된 IP 네트워크에서 기존의 초고속인터넷서비스에 음성서비스와 비디오서비스를 동시에 서비스하는 Triple Play Service를 제공하기 시작했다. 본 연구에서는 최근 이러한 통신서비스의 변화를 고려해 IP 네트워크에서 TPS 제공을 위한 가입자망의 대역설계 방법에 대해 몇 가지 대안을 제시하고, 제시하는 각 방법의 특성을 수치실험을 통해 비교 분석하여 가입자망의 실용적인 설계방안을 제시한다. 이를 위해 우선 연결레벨에서 초고속인터넷서비스와 프리미엄서비스를 위한 대역설계 방법을 제시하고, 두 서비스가 대역을 공유하는 TPS 환경에서 각 서비스의 서비스 품질을 보장하기 위해 가입자 수용장치의 대역을 논리적으로 분리하여 대역을 설계하는 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 제안된 방법을 바탕으로 ns-2를 이용해 가입자의 규모에 따른 설계대역량을 제시한다. 또한 프리미엄서비스의 서비스 품질을 보장하기 위해 앞서 산출한 연결레벨의 설계대역량을 이용해 패킷레벨에서 DiffServ 기반의 엄격한 우선순위스케줄링 방식을 통한 차별화된 서비스 제공방안을 가정해 기존의 FIFO 방식과 성능실험을 통해 비교 분석한다.

New Retention System Using Branched Polymer

  • The purpose of this study was to confirm multiple retention system of C-PAM, A-PAM and Inorganic micro particles vs. traditional micro particle system and dual polymer system by measuring retention, drainage and formation using RDA HSF and Techpap 2D -F Sensor The benefits of dual polymer system were easy to use, low chemical consumption and good retention property but defect was worse drainage property than inorganic microparticle systems. On the other hand, Inorganic microparticle system had benefit of good drainage effect but defects were difficult to use, high chemical consumption. Therefore, we tried to find optimal morphology of polyacrylamide and applied to multiple retention system of C-PAM, A-PAM and inorganic microparticles to compensate defects of both of retention systems. As a result, we found the performance of branched C-PAM, branched A-PAM and inorganic micro particle triple system was more appropriate than traditional inorganic mircoparticle systems or dual polymer systems by comparing retention, drainage and formation.

Perceptions of Corporate Social Responsibility and Implications for the Nonprofit Sector

  • While corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been considered an important philanthropic support for nonprofits worldwide, little is known about how perceptions of CSR are associated with actual CSR practices that may benefit nonprofit organizations in different institutional contexts. This study applies stakeholder theory to examine how South Korean firms perceive CSR outcomes, and how these perceptions lead to different CSR practices. We constructed a panel dataset using two waves of the Giving Korea survey of CSR and two additional sources. The results indicate that perceived CSR outcomes may play a critical role in CSR practices: 1) the more financial performance is perceived as an outcome, the more will be donated; 2) the more organizational culture is perceived as an outcome, the greater the engagement in employee volunteering; and 3) the more reputation is perceived as an outcome, the more nonprofit organizations are supported. From the findings, we discuss theoretical implications and provide suggestions for nonprofit organizations.
