Efficacy of Different Seed Kernels against Root Knot Nematode Meloidogyne incognita in Mulberry

  • Five seed kernel namely, Neem (Azadirachta indica A. Juss.), Pongamia (Pongamia glabra L. Pierre), Tamarind (Tamarindus indica L.), Mahua (Madhuca indica Gmel.) and Shikakai (Acacia cancinna De.) were tested against hatching of eggs and larval mortality of Meloidogyne incognita causing root knot disease in mulberry along with Furadan (Carbofuran) and Bionema (a bioformulation developed from Verticillium chlamydosporium) for comparison. Results revealed that highest hush-up of hatching was observed in Neem (77.40%) and Pongamia (75.99%) seed kernel extracts at 100% concentration over the check. Similarly, highest larval mortality was observed in Neem and Pongamia by 76.00% and 74.50%, respectively at 100% concentration after 72 hrs of exposure period. Pot culture studies revealed that pre-application of seed kernel powders (20 days before inoculation of nematode) found to be more effective in controlling the root knot disease than post application. In pre application of seed kernel powders, maximum reduction of root knots was observed in case of Neem seed kernel powder (54.85%) followed by Pongamia (51.9%). Similar trend was also observed in reduction of egg masses/plant and nematode population /250 cc soil. Rest of the seed kernel extracts was found to be less effective in suppression of hatching, enhancing the larval mortality and controlling the root knot disease. However, application of Furadan and Bionema tested for the comparison were found to be more effective than seed kernel powders. The generated information seems to be useful in developing an ecofriendly integrated approach for the control of root knot nematode disease in mulberry.

  • This study aims to analyze the representation forms of bloggers' personal style on the fashion blogs and enlighten their values which can be actively applied to design and marketing in fashion industry. Image representation of fashion bloggers is reflected by the characteristics in the digital environment, which are the creative manipulation of expression and the production of virtual and fantastic images by taking advantage of the composite medium such as images, music, videos, articles, etc. Also real time updates in blog indicate the latest trends in terms of the representation of image as the actual currency. The study conducted case studies of 5 women's personal fashion blogs through the verification of a variety of global fashion media and blog ranking sites: Style Bubble, Style Rookie, The Cherry Blossom Girl, The Blond Salad, and Fashion Toast. Research findings are as follows. First, the application of creative design elements is indicated as symbolic items, self-made designs, DIY, and various mix and match emphasizing design elements such as color, patterns, proportion, etc. Second, the virtual representation is very highlighted on the story telling applied by film like production or digital effect. Third, the commercial application with mainly sponsored wardrobe and designer collaboration indicates promoting a updated trend as well as a specific brand or designer to make their business profits.

국내 해수담수화 플랜트 적용 활성화 방안 연구 (The Research on Activation Plan for Seawater Desalination Plant Application in Korea)

  • Foreign and domestic seawater desalination plant market investigation was performed to analyze the worldwide trend of seawater desalination plant market and to establish the activation plan for seawater desalination plant application. Water demand and seawater desalination related laws and regulations were investigated and analyzed for the activation plan. RO type and large scale plants are popular nowadays however there are only small plants in island region in Korea. There will be about $1 million\;m^3/day$ deficit in 2015 according to the water demand forecasting from Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Land, Transportation, and Maritime Affairs in Korea. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the domestic application of seawater desalination plant to secure stable water resources. To activate the domestic application of seawater desalination plant, first, we need to establish regulations, support system in the water service law for seawater desalination plant. Second, related Ministry should increase the support for the operation and management of seawater desalination plant and suggest the construction of seawater desalination plant for water resources security near seaside region.

RI-Biomics 기술정보 제공을 위한 웹 프로그램 개발 연구 (The Development of Web Program for Providing RI-Biomics Technical Information)

  • For designing the model of the web program, the demand survey for the technology and information has been performed for the students of the related departments, industrialists and researchers. And, the survey, such as advantages and disadvantages, for the current situations has been examined through comparison and analysis by the establishment type and operational process for the present operating web programs having the similar functions in Korea. The contents and web program for the technology and information system have been also developed by the question investigation and the expert opinions. This system for RI-Biomics has been developed by focusing the convenience for the information provision and the information search as the first constructing direction. Information has been collected by the operator in our institute and making contract with Global Trend Briefing of KISTI in Korea. The information collection in the web program has been designed as the direction regularly provided with RSS. Information has been then analyzed by constructing the expert pool provided from the advisory committee for the technology and information, and using them. The publicity for this web program has been performed by webzines and then it is noted that the publicity programs such as some events should be regularly developed when expanded and advanced to a community in future.

A Market Research on the Development Trends of Aerogel Daily Clothing

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the development trends of aerogel daily clothing through market research, and to discuss the main points of future aerogel application in daily clothing. Market research on daily clothing has been conducted by collecting relevant information on the internet and analyzing the content of the information. We summarized the market research results in three aspects: the daily clothing brand using aerogel, the aerogel composite used in daily clothing, and the property of aerogel daily clothing. From these results, it can be seen that the development of aerogel daily clothing is becoming active and specialized. But there are still many difficulties due to lack of development experience. One problem is that the application methods of aerogel composite in current aerogel daily clothing are similar. Another problem is that the analysis of consumer reviews can only provides a rough understanding of the property of aerogel daily clothing. Therefore, further application research of aerogel composite in the field of daily clothing through scientific evaluation is required. It is expected to improve the performance of the aerogel daily clothing and increase the utilization of aerogel composite by conducting the further application research.

대마(大麻)의 부위별 효능(效能)에 대한 고찰 (A Study on The Efficacy of Cannabis Sativa According to Different Parts)

  • Objectives : This study aims to examine the efficacy and application of Cannabis according to its parts. Methods : Contents on efficacy, treatment, and application of Cannabis in Material Medica and other texts of East Asian Medicine were collected and interpreted to deduce each characteristic. Results : Cannabis was found to be applicable to various wind symptoms and wind stroke, various pain and injuries, skin diseases, blockage or leaking of urine or feces, disease related to genitalia and anus, chronic ague, women's disease related to menstruation, birth, pregnancy, and to have the effects of heightening perceptive and sensory organs, detoxification and anesthesia, stimulating hair growth, and eradicating parasites. It drives out wind-heat pathogenic qi, circulates qi and blood, which allowed it to be applied not only to blockages but to symptoms of leakage. In other words, Cannabis was used when both excess and deficiency diseases were present, the former caused by acute blockage and the latter accompanied by stagnation. Conclusions : Based on the findings of this study, future researches on the efficacy and application of Cannabis could be done more systematically. In line with recent trend of wide application of medical Cannabis, we hope for it to be more actively used in the field of East Asian Medicine based on objective evidence.

스마트폰 앱 사용 및 추천의도 영향 요인에 관한 연구 - Utilitarian vs. Hedonic 유형간 차이비교 (Exploring Determinants Affecting Mobile Application Use and Recommendation)

  • 모바일 시장의 성장과 더불어 다양한 앱의 등장은 기존 스마트폰 사업자 및 애플리케이션 개발자들간의 경쟁을 가중시키고 있다. 이에 다양한 스마트폰 앱의 유형별 사용 및 추천의도에 관한 연구가 필요해진 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 기존 UTAUT 모형에 성과기대에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 개인화와 신뢰성을, 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 플로우를 추가하여 스마트폰 앱 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 스마트폰 앱의 유형을 실용적인 성격의 앱과 엔터테인먼트적인 성격의 앱의 두 가지 대비되는 유형으로 나누어 스마트폰 앱 수용에 관해 각각의 앱 특징에 따라 영향의 차이를 검정하여 전략적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 신뢰, 개인화가 성과기대에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 성과기대, 노력기대가 스마트폰 앱의 사용의도와 사용행동 및 추천의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실용앱과 엔터테인먼트 앱의 유형에 따라 사용자의 스마트폰 앱의 사용목적과 사용에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 다르게 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구가 스마트폰 앱 개발자, 이동통신사, 기업 등의 앱 제작과 서비스제공, 마케팅 등에 실질적으로 활용될 수 있는 전략적 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

HTTP Host를 이용한 웹 어플리케이션 인식에 관한 연구 (Web Application Awareness using HTTP Host)

  • 네트워크의 고속화와 다양한 응용 서비스의 등장으로 오늘날의 네트워크 트래픽은 복잡해지고 다양해졌다. 지금 이 순간에도 수 많은 응용들이 나타나고 사라지기를 반복하고 있는데, 이러한 다양한 트래픽의 변화에 현재의 트래픽 분류 시스템은 빠르게 대처 하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 새롭게 출현하는 응용에 빠르게 대처할 수 있는 응용 인식 시스템을 제안한다. 응용 인식 시스템은 빠르게 변화하는 네트워크 환경에서 응용프로그램들의 이름을 인식하여 새로운 응용의 출현과 기존 응용의 변화 추이 등의 정보를 제공한다. 본 논문에서 빠르고 정확한 응용 인식을 위해 HTTP 프로토콜의 Host 필드를 이용한다. Host 필드의 domain정보를 추출하여 응용의 이름을 임시로 정하고 추후 관리자의 개입을 통해 응용의 이름을 확정 짓는 구조이다. 단순히 응용의 이름만을 알아내는데 그치지 않고 응용마다 고유의 Client IP를 카운팅하여 분석 대상 망에서 많이 사용된 응용들을 알아 낼 수 있다. 또한 응용 인식을 통해 나온 응용들을 트래픽 분류 시스템에 등록하여 기존에 분석 되지 않았던 새로운 응용들에 대한 분석도 가능하게 된다. 제안한 방법은 학내 망에서의 실험을 통해 결과를 도출하고 시나리오 별로 결과를 나눠서 분석함으로써 타당성을 증명하였다.

RPA 주제별 국내 동향연구 -유통업무 적용사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Trends of RPA Subjects in Korea -Focusing on cases of application of distribution business-)

  • 연구결과 도입측면의 연구는 RPA 도입의 방향, 성과기대, 비용, 규제, 리스크에 초점을 맞추어 진행되어 왔다. 향후 도입측면의 연구는 조직적 측면 연구 외에도 기술적, 환경적 측면의 연구 활성화가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 적용사례 측면의 연구는 실제 기업, 적용업무, 적용직업을 대상으로 이루어져왔음을 알 수 있었다. 향후 적용사례 측면의 연구는 실제 기업, 적용업무, 적용직업을 대상으로 RPA 기술적용 후 성과에 대한 연구가 필요해 보인다. 시장분석 측면의 연구는 시장의 형성단계, 그리고 미래시장 예측으로 이루어져왔음을 알 수 있었다. 향후 연구는 AI, 4차 산업혁명과 연계되어 미래의 시장이 어떻게 전개될지에 대한 연구는 가능하리라 본다. 수용의도 측면의 연구는 타 주제에 비하여 연구가 상대적으로 미진한 연구 분야라고 할 수 있다. 앞으로 수용의도 측면의 연구가 더욱 활성화된다면 신기술수용 이론의 발전에도 기여하고 RPA도입, RPA적용, RPA시장 활성화에도 시사점을 제시하였다.

뷰티케어용 세라믹소재기술 동향 (Trend of Ceramic Materials Technology for Beauty-care)

  • This work reported the trends of bioceramic materials for beauty-care applications with the several represent examples - tone-up, sun-care and anti-pollution cosmetics. The development of cosmetic techniques was discussed and reviewed with various ceramic hybrid materials. Moreover, we also reported the preparation and application of functional cosmetics with silicified liposome particles as a good make-up material for controlled release with natural compounds. The homogeneous loading and highly controlled-release formulation with porous and silicified ceramic liposome ceramic materials were discussed.
