In this paper, we propose the method and system which determines the condition for safe and unsafe lane changing. To determine the condition, first, the system sets up the Region of Interest(ROI) on the neighboring lane. Second, a dangerous vehicle is extracted during the line changing. Third, the condition is determined to wm or not by calculating the moving direction, relative distance md relative velocity. To set up the ROI, the only one side lane is detected and the interested region is expanded. Using the coordinate transformation method, the accuracy of the ROI raised. To correctly extract the vehicle on the neighboring lane, the Adaptive Background Update method and Image Segmentation method which uses the feature of the travelling road are used. The object which is extracted by the dangerous vehicle is calculated the relative distance, the relative velocity and the moving average. And then in order to ring, the direction of the vehicle and the condition for safe and unsafe is determined. As minimizes the interested region and uses the feature of the travelling road, the computational quantity is reduced and the accuracy is raised and a stable result on a travelling road images which demands a high speed calculation is showed.

In this study, the vibration serviceability of pedestrian by travelling vehicles on the cable-stayed bridge with concrete tower was studied. Experiment variables were considered travelling speed of vehicles, pavement state of asphalt on the deck and weight of vehicles, preferentially. Especially, pavement grade states were considered by A and C grades by BMS (Bridge Management System) standard. The incremental ratio extent of vibration acceleration responses, asphalt pavement grade C over A, was construed to 1.23~1.43. Only, these results are valid within extent of the Scaled-Weight 228.0~1161.9 km/h kN. The vibration equations for acceleration responses prediction of bridge deck were proposed into three types, reliability 50%, 90%, 95% respectively. These equations can consider asphalt pavement grade, and the vehicle's weight and travelling velocity, which are the source of vibration, are combined into the term called, 'Scaled Weight'.
The aim of this research is to measure the damage caused by the vibrations of passing trains. In order to determine the vibration levels of the trains, twelve points along the Honam, Cholla and Kyungjun lines were chose. There are two goals to be achieved from the data gathered. The first is to determine whether or not the trains are operating under governmentally determined levels. The second goal is to establish countermeasure in order to minimize the effects of the vibrations on the people who live near the train lines. A vibration level meter was used to measure the vibration levels at all twelve points at times when no trains were travelling and at times when trains were travelling. As a result, it was found that Saemaeulho and Mugunghwaho, had a higher vibration level of 2 - 3 dB than Pidulgiho and freight trans. There were no relationship between speed and vibration level. The vibration levels did change according to capacity and size of the engine. In such cases there was a difference of 2 - 7 dB. Where vibration proof ditches were in place, the vibration level were decreased by 3 - 6 dB. The practical decreases in vibration levels was similar to the theoretical decreases.

Corrugation of railway track can be caused by the various dynamic behavior of travelling wheels and track. In this paper, the coupled vibrations of travelling wheel and railway track are analyzed as the cause of corrugations. To analyze the coupled vibrations, the track supported by the sleepers and the traveling wheel are identified to the elastically supported infinite beam and the spring-mass system which runs at constant speed. The Hertzian contact spring is considered betwen the infinite beam and spring-mass system. The dynamic responses of elastically supported infinite beam and spring-mass system are calculated. The cause and development of rail corrugation are discussed in the view point of contact force fluctuation affected by the elastic supports and the corrugated surface profile of the track. By the obtained results, the possibilities of resonance are checked between the excitation by the corrugated surface profile and the natural frequency of contact spring-moving mass system. It may be thought to a development of railway corrugation.

Mulching vinyl is used on field crops to reduce herbicides and this causes multiple effects. The mulching vinyl must be collected for the next crop season, but was left alone due to a shortage of labor. The used mulching vinyl that was left alone acted as one of the main sources of environmental pollution on farms. In order to solve these problems, a self-propelling vinyl remover was developed. The self-propelling vinyl remover consists of a travelling part and rotating of remover wheel. Each output device has a 1.5ps engine and a 2.5ps engine. The vinyl was twisted 17~47cm/times length. The bobbin's diameter was 160mm and it's stable travelling speed was 0.5m/s. The revolution of the remover wheel bobbin was 60rpm to maintain the wheel's linear velocity. As seen at performance test at the field which had 950mm ridge intervals and 10a area, the average working speed was 0.56m/s and the turning time was 15seconds. Therefore, the working performance was 40.1min/10a.

Brake system is indispensible functional part to the transportation machines such as railroad cars, and all of industrial machines. It is mechanical element to stop the movement or slow the speed, transforming kinetic energy of motion object into thermal energy through solid friction. According that recently the railroad cars have become high-speed, the technique in braking domain to secure the overall braking effort is making rapid progress. In particular, material development and manufacturing process are so important to secure friction performance, which is the core in braking performance of mechanical brake units. Wear of brake disk could mainly result in the diminishment of its life span due to thermal cracking, so the endurance against high temperature is required. On the other hand, in this case, the problem is that the side wear of pad, relative material is slightly increased because of enlargement of plastic deformation. It is necessary, therefore, to develop a disk material that will be used in the Tilting System mechanical brake units. The purpose of this paper is to make a study prior to developing brake disk of Tilting Train travelling at 200km/h and to propose the component of brake disk. Accordingly, I will conduct sufficient researches on technical documents of brake disk, that are basic documentations, analyze an impact on components, and further, considering braking degree of train, study for the basic proposal on brake disk's component of the train travelling at 200km/h, which has relatively minor influence of heat stress and maintains the friction. In this respect, I would like to investigate friction characteristics between disk and relative friction material via Test on some possible test segments, analyze and propose friction performance, temperature impact and so forth coming from the contact with pad, relative material to demonstrate the friction characteristics.
The purpose of this paper is to study the fundamental characteristics of bicycle flows. Several experiments were conducted to obtain the characteristics of bicycle flows, speed variation along a curve radius, bicycle driver's travelling territory and saturation flow rate at signalized intersection. Bicycle facilities are categorized into uninterrupted and interrupted, the capacity of uninterrupted is approximately 5000bic/h, and that of the interrupted (at signalized intersection) is approximately 3000bic/h, when a curve radius is over 20m, bicycle speed is not increasing. Bicycle driver's travelling territory is used to occupancy area, it is the same concept as pedestrian's. Bicycle occupancy area is to be divided into circulation zone, comfort zone. and collision zone. Circulation zone is over 2.21$\times$4.1m and collision zone is less than 0.96$\times$2.47m. Comfort zone is defined as intermediate state between two zones.
A three-dimensional linearised potential theory is presented for the prediction of motions and dynamic structural responses of twin-hull ships travelling with forward speed in regular waves. Comparisons between theoretical and experimental results are shown for the motion responses and lateral wave loads of an ASR(anti-submarine rescue) catamaran. In general, good agreement between theory and experiment is found except for some discrepancies that are believed to be caused by neglect of forward speed effects on free surface.

In this study, the dynamic behaviour of a rotating Timoshenko beam when under the actions of a variable magnitude load moving at non-uniform speed is carried out. The effect of cross-sectional dimension and damping on the flexural motions of the elastic beam was neglected. The coupled second order partial differential equations incorporating the effects of rotary and gyroscopic moment describing the motions of the beam was scrutinized in order to obtain the expression for the dynamic deflection and rotation of the vibrating system using an elegant technique called Galerkin's Method. Analyses of the solutions obtained were carried out and various results were displayed in plotted curve. It was found that the response amplitude of the simply supported beam increases with an increase in the value of the foundation reaction modulus. Effects of other vital structural parameters were also established.
As well known, the friction stir welding is a novel welding process which is a solid state welding process for sheet or plate using the friction stir phenomenon. This paper describes the effect of welding condition such as the rotation speed and the travelling speed during the friction stir welding process on the micro Virkers hardness and the microstructure of friction stir welded joints in AI-7075-T651 plate. From those investigations, the highest hardness of stir zone was observed at the welding condition of SO-3. The microstructures of the friction stir welded joints was not dependent on the welding conditions, but in the SO-4 specimen, the friction stir welding defect like tunnel shape was found in stir zone.
