부산지역 고정식 신호교차로의 시간대별 소통체계 최적설계에 관한 연구 (Optimal Design of the Travel System during the Different Time Periods on the Pretimed Signalized Intersections in Pusan Area)

  • Today the congestion problem is a problem for the most of the cities to solve. Especially, traffic congestion in the big cities is occurring regardless of the rush-hours. Because the transportation facilities secured in the big cities are very low, and the financial resources and sites for the expansion of new transportation facilities are also limited. Therefore the appropriate Transportation system Management(TSM) techniques which could improve the transportation system are absolutely required to solve the transportation problems instead of the expansion of the transportation facilities in the big cities. The purpose in this study was to review the travel characteristics on the Pretimed Signalized - Intersections under the study in Pusan area, construct the travel systems during the different time-periods based upon the travel characteristics reviewed, and finally suggest the optimal travel systems which could reduce the traffic delay and fuel consumption of the Pretimed Signalized - Intersections based upon the travel system constructed. Based upon the results, it could be concluded that the pretimed signal system based upon the on-peak periods should not be applied to all the different time-periods on the Pretimed Signalized - Intersections(PSI) to reduce traffic delay and fuel consumption, and increase the travel capacity on the intersections in Pusan area.

딥 러닝을 이용한 시각장애인을 위한 실시간 버스 도착 알림 시스템 (A Real-time Bus Arrival Notification System for Visually Impaired Using Deep Learning )

  • In this paper, we propose a real-time bus arrival notification system using deep learning to guarantee movement rights for the visually impaired. In modern society, by using location information of public transportation, users can quickly obtain information about public transportation and use public transportation easily. However, since the existing public transportation information system is a visual system, the visually impaired cannot use it. In Korea, various laws have been amended since the 'Act on the Promotion of Transportation for the Vulnerable' was enacted in June 2012 as the Act on the Movement Rights of the Blind, but the visually impaired are experiencing inconvenience in using public transportation. In particular, from the standpoint of the visually impaired, it is impossible to determine whether the bus is coming soon, is coming now, or has already arrived with the current system. In this paper, we use deep learning technology to learn bus numbers and identify upcoming bus numbers. Finally, we propose a method to notify the visually impaired by voice that the bus is coming by using TTS technology.

  • 유라시아 대륙에는 다양한 궤간이 존재하고 있다. 이런 차이는 서로 다른 궤간의 접속점에서 화물을 환적하거나 혹은 차량 운행 조립체를 교환하여야 하는 등 철도수송 시스템의 운영에 많은 영향을 준다. 그러므로, 철도 수송 시스템의 효율성은 복잡한 하역 및 교환 기술에 관련된 궤간 극복 방법에 매우 의존한다. 본 논문은 대륙철도 연결을 통한 국제 화물 수송에서 발생되는 1520/1435mm 궤간차이를 극복하기 위한 철도 수송 시스템의 효율성 평가를 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 궤간 변경지점에서 현재 수행되고 있는 수송 시스템을 간략하게 설명하고, 교환 기술에 대한 사전 분석을 수행하였다. LCC 모델에 기초하여 리프트에 의한 대차교환 방식과 자동궤간가변 시스템의 효율성을 비교평가 하였다.

  • 최근 예부선 결합선박에 대한 해양사고가 빈발하고 있다. 어선을 제외한 선박사고 중 $36\%$로 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있으며, 매년 예부선에 의한 해양사고가 증가하고 있다. 예부선에 의한 해양사고는 증가하고 있으나 예부선의 안전 운항 방안에 대한 체계적인 연구가 없는 실정이다. 본 연구는 예부선에 대하여 인적요소부분, 안전시설 부분, 운항요소부분으로 분류하여 문제점을 도출하고 그에 대한 개선방안을 제시하여 예부선에 의한 해양사고를 방지하는데 목적이 있다.

  • 본 논문은 도시형 신교통시스템 도입 계획단계에서 적정 신교통시스템을 용이하게 선정하기 위해 대중교통수단의 다양한 특성들에 대한 중요도를 고려하는 평가기법을 제시하고 있다. 이 기법은 대중교통수단의 특성을 이용자 영향요인, 지역사회 영향요인, 정부 및 운영자 영향요인으로 구분하여 총 12개의 평가항목을 설정하고, 이에 대한 중요도를 분석하여 신교통시스템을 평가하는 기법이다. 실증적 분석을 위해 AHP 기법을 이용하여 중소도시의 간선형 신교통시스템에 대한 가중치를 조사하여 평가를 시행한 결과, 중요도는 안전성, 신속 및 정시성, 편리성, 지역활성화 순으로, 우선순위는 철재차륜 AGT, LIM, 고무차륜 AGT 순으로 분석되었다.

Analysis on the dielectric characteristics of a composite insulation system composed of LN2 and GN2

  • A liquid nitrogen ($LN_2$) is usually used to be a coolant and insulant for a HTS coil system. HTS wires for a superconducting apparatus may be surrounded by gaseous nitrogen ($GN_2$) due to film boiling generated by a quench or voids occurred by electrical breakdown. The increased maximum electric field intensity at $GN_2$ may result in the degradation of dielectric strength of a HTS coil system. In this paper, a study on the dielectric characteristics of a composite insulation system composed of $LN_2$ and $GN_2$ is performed. A sphere-to-plane electrode system made with stainless steel is used to perform the experiments under AC and lightning impulse voltage condition. A sphere electrode is surrounded by $GN_2$ and a plane electrode is immersed into $LN_2$ to conduct dielectric experiments with a composite insulation system. The dielectric experiments are performed according to the level of $LN_2$ from the plane electrode to a sphere electrode. It is found that the dielectric characteristics of a composite insulation system are dependent on the level of $LN_2$ and the field utilization factor of an electrode system.

PRT 시스템의 운행 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of the Operation Simulator for the PRT System)

  • A time based software simulator for the PRT system operation is presented. The purpose of the simulator is to estimate the passenger transportation performance of the PRT system. In this paper, it is presented how the system is modeled in the simulator to estimate passenger transportation performance and the running algorithm of the modeled subsystem. An application sample is also presented to find the system's design parameter to satisfy the transportation needs.

  • The study in railway system to apply a fuel cell system with high efficiency and mobility than other renewable energy is being actively conducted. It is needed a analysis on load characteristics and control method of rolling stock in order to apply to rolling stock. This paper presents study on control small-scale prototype power converter electric railway vehicle using fuel cell generation system. Experiment is conducted through real fuel cell generation system and reference speed applying the driving curve of the actual electric railway vehicle was applied. Also, output voltage of boost converter is controlled considering characteristic of fuel cell. And it was confirmed characteristic according to powering and regeneration of inverter.

화물자동차의 공동수배송시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishing System of Truck Collaboration for Transportation Enterprises)

  • The objective of this paper is to study the establishing system of truck collaboration and to reduce traffic cost for participating transportation enterprises. The system of truck collaboration can enhance the transport efficiency and to reduce traffic cost without new investment for trucks and equipments. The type of truck collaboration should be enumerated (1) the system of head and branch base (2) the system of central terminal (3) the system of separating collection and delivery for cargo (4) the system of cooperating cargo order and truck allocation. The efficiency of truck collaboration is possible to be realized for transportation enterprises, receiver and sender of cargo.

대도시권 버스개편추세에 따른 통근전철의 대응 전략 (An improvement strategy of metropolitan commuter railways according to the reformation of bus system on a metropolitan area)

  • Nowadays, the bus system of a metropolitan area is improving very fast. According to the bus, commuter railways increase their competitive power. For this, trains get the mobility increasing, effective transferring system and unified information service. For the mobility increasing, commuting railway must be faster by flexible train diagram and facilities improvement. And finally, optimal commuter train, 'Liner' is needful. And for effective transferring system, it is necessary that railway station and transferring center of a city be merged. And it is needful that direct management bus by railway company and unification fare system on metropolitan region. Next, for information service system improving, the commuting railway station must be regional transportation hub at first. And it is needful that unified line map of trunk line transportation systems and regionally collective transportation system information book. Therefore, metropolitan commuting railways compete with trunk line bus and cooperate with feeder line bus, and can make optimal metropolitan public transportation systems.
