The Possibilities to use the Non- Destructive Testing on Diagnosing Wears of Wagon Chassis

  • This report is devoted to the problems of Mongolian Railway Transportation Safety such as high length of wagon service life, defects due to the more factors of exploitation, idle time, increase of faults, poor condition of repairing shops and more hand and mechanical operations and these conditions are quite difficult to meet the safety and reliability of increasing transportation from day to day. The paper discusses that the most optimum solution is diagnosing before occurring wear, breakdown, and defects on the basis of studying characteristics of structural material breakdown, residual methods of voltage, effects of material hardness and linear defects of a crystal net and the reform of machines is very important to implement it. It focuses the structures, characteristics of the material transportation and tests and analyses of the wagon cart which has to meet the traffic safety of wagons and slow and soft movement. The study is done on the wagon chassis which has to meet the traffic safety of luggage wagons.

보행자보호를 위한 다리기준의 교통안전 효과평가 (Assessing Traffic Safety Benefits of Technical Regulation for Pedestrian Leg)

  • This study proposes a methodology to assess the traffic safety benefits of technical regulation for pedestrian leg. Traffic safety benefit is defined as the injury reduction in this study. Actual accident analysis and simulation experiments using LS-Dyna3d are conducted to establish statistical models for developing the methodology. The relationship between collision speed and parameters of the regulation is explored. An application example of the proposed methodology is also presented for more comprehensive understanding. It is believed that the proposed methodology would be greatly utilized in developing various technologies and policies to protect pedestrian.

  • 최최근 자율주행차의 안전한 주행을 보장하기 위한 모델 공식 기반 접근이 제시되고 있으며, 인텔-모빌아이의 RSS(responsibility-sensitive safety) 모델[1, 2]과 엔비디아의 SFF(Safety Force Field) 방법[2]이 주목받고 있다. 자율주행차 시뮬레이터을 이용하여 이러한 안전 주행 모델 적용의 효과와 역효과를 시뮬레이션하는 것은 자율주행 자동차와 제도의 개발에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 RSS와 SFF 모델을 살펴보고 이를 자율주행에 적용하기 위한 비교 연구 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

국내 철도 안전수준의 비교평가에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on Railway Accident Safety Statistics among Nations and Other Transportation Modes)

  • 2004년 이후 철도안전에 대한 투자확대의 결과로 철도사고 발생건수 및 관련피해는 지속적으로 감소하여 2009년 이후에는 선진국 수준의 안전성을 유지하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 사고율 개선에도 철도안전에 대한 국민의 우려는 감소하지 않고 있으며, 추가적인 개선을 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 철도안전의 현재 수준에 대한 정량적 평가를 통해 철도안전에 대한 목표설정, 안전대책마련 등의 정책 수립에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 철도사고에 대해 철도 사고율이 낮은 선진국 및 도로교통 사고율과 정량적인 비교연구를 수행하였다. 또한 사고 종류별 원인분석을 통해 현재 철도안전수준의 평가를 위한 기초자료를 마련하였다.

제조사업장의 안전규정 위반요인에 대한 정성적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on Safety Rule Violation Motives at Manufacturing Plants)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence safety rule violation at work. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 337 participants from nine manufacturing plants. The results of the content analysis revealed the following six categories: Individual characteristics, safety commitment, safety support and resources, safety competence and communication, production pressure, and problems with rules. Among the 14 factors in the six categories above, indirect accident experience in the individual characteristics category and no action for complying with laws in the problems with rules category had not been identified in previous studies. However, some factors, such as age, peer pressure, pay type, the lowering of risk, a masculine way of working, and supervisor position were not found in this study. The implications and limitations are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem on safety and health training system in Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSHA) and to find countermeasures to improve it in the construction industry. The questionary survey was done on aiming at tracing the legal drawbacks of safety and health training system. The questionary was prepared to target on site workers, management supervisors, and safety supervisors in various construction sites. After analyzing the answers from the survey, realistic and optimal countermeasures on derived problems were proposed. These should be included on the next revision of OSHA.

  • A major advantage of the area in and around Braunschweig is its concentration of major research institutes and small to large enterprises dealing with different modes of transportation. For many years, aviation has been a particular focus. The research institutes have aircraft and helicopters equipped especially for research projects, as well as other laboratory equipment, allowing simulation and testing of air traffic application both virtually and on real aircraft. In addition, with the Luftfahrtbundesamt (equivalent organization to FAA) and the Bundesstelle $f{\"{u}}r$ Flugunfalluntersuchung (equivalent to NTSB) both located at the Research Airport, it enables direct contact with two key air-traffic safety authorities. The institutes of DLR and the Technical University of Braunschweig are very active in rail transportation applications. Cooperation with the market leader in rail automation - Siemens Rail Automation, also located in Braunschweig - and with other companies in the Braunschweig region means that safety-critical road applications and mobility research is available due to the activities of a number of institutes. Cooperation with Volkswagen (VW) and other companies in the region ensure access to the market leaders' know-how in this sector. Current European activities within framework of the Galileo project offer particularly good opportunities for the Research Airport to leverage its expertise and position itself internationally as a specialist in safety-critical transport applications - the centre is an initiative of Niedersachsen and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport Location and navigation plays a central role in all modes of transport - air, road and rail. The market is being revolutionized by the increasing integration of GNSS. The realization of the Galileo system will provide additional opportunities for the Research Airport: Galileo as a civil operated system offers service guarantees especially in the area of safety-critical applications in transportation. Notably standards, processes and authorizations related to the certification of safety-critical applications in the areas of air, road and rail transportation are still to be determined. GAUSS, located at the Research Airport Braunschweig, as an European centre of excellence for simulation, testing and certification of safety-critical applications can offer its expertise to validate the services guaranteed by the Galileo concessionaire.

교통 빅데이터를 이용한 전국 도로 안전성능함수 및 안전등급 개발 연구 (Development of Safety Performance Functions and Level of Service of Safety on National Roads Using Traffic Big Data)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 전체 도로 유형을 대상으로 빅데이터를 이용하여 안전성능함수(safety performance function, SPF)를 개발하고, 그것을 바탕으로 다양한 도로에 대한 안전등급을 평가함으로써 상대적으로 위험한 도로에 대한 대책을 수립할 수 있는 기초 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 교통사고 자료를 국가표준 노드 및 링크 체계를 기반으로 전국의 도로에 매칭 하여 종속 변수로 활용하였으며, 독립변수로 링크 길이, 차로 수 등 기하구조 자료 및 한국교통연구원의 ViewT 교통량 자료, 그리고 사업용 차량에 장착된 운행기록계를 통한 위험운전행동 건수를 활용한 4개 시스템의 교통 빅데이터를 활용하여 연구를 진행하여 7개 도로 유형별 안전성능함수를 개발하고, 개발된 안전성능함수를 활용하여 도로유형별로 A, B, C, D 네 개의 안전등급을 평가하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 방법론과 분석 결과를 토대로 우리나라의 위험도로를 선정하였다. 도출된 결과를 바탕으로 교통안전 개선사업의 대상을 선정하고 그에 따른 효과 등을 모니터링하고 계량화할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
