다중링-메시 토폴로지 기반 T-SDN(Transport SDN)에서 보호·복구 경로 계산 방식 (Protection and restoration path calculation method in T-SDN (Transport SDN) based on multiple ring-mesh topology)

  • 다중 도메인 광 전송망은 기본적으로 상호 운용되지 않으며 전체 망차원의 통합 오케스트레이션 메커니즘과 경로 제공 메커니즘이 필요하다. 더불어 망의 생존성 보장은 중요한 쟁점 중의 하나이다. MPLS-TP(Multi-Protocol Label Switching-Transport Profile)에서는 다양한 보호·복구 방안을 표준으로 정의하고 있으나 보호·복구 경로를 계산·선정하는 방안에 대해서는 언급하고 있지 않다. 따라서 광회선패킷 통합망 차원에서 보호·복구 충돌을 최소화하여 통합망 전 영역에 걸쳐 신속한 보호·복구가 가능한 경로를 계산·설정하는 알고리즘이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 다중링-메시 토폴로지 형태로 구성된 T-SDN 망에서 신속한 보호·복구가 가능한 경로를 계산·설정하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

  • In order to evaluate the relative significance of tolerance management of various elements in a VHS VTR tape transport system, the effect of geometric variations of the elements from standard design values on the tape traveling path is studied. The tape is modeled as a string and each element in the tape transport system is modeled as a cylinder whose radius, position vector and orientation vector are specified. An numerical algorithm is proposed to find the coordinates of tape entry points and tape exit points for the elements from which the tape traveling path can be completely described. By using the suggested algorithm, an error sensitivity analysis of tape traveling path due to the geometric variations of tape transport elements is performed for a particular model in the market and the elements demanding relatively strict tolerance management are identified.

  • A search algorithm for the collision free, time optimal transport path of overhead cranes has been proposed in this paper. The map for the working environment of overhead cranes was constructed in the form of three dimensional grid. The obstacle occupied region and unoccupied region of the map has been represented using the octree model. The best-first search method with a suitable estimation function was applied to select the knot points on the collision free transport path to the octree model. The optimization technique, minimizing the travel time required for transporting objects to the goal while subjected to the dynamic constraints of the crane system, was developed to find the smooth time optimal path in the form of cubic spline functions which interpolate the selected knot points. Several simulation results showed that the selected estimation function worked effectively insearching the knot points on the collision free transport path and that the resulting transport path was time optimal path while satisfying the dynamic constraints of the crane system.

  • In outdoor visible light communication channels and LED road illumination communications for the intelligent transport systems (ITS), inter symbol interference (ISI) due to multipath propagation prevents high data rate transmission. Indoor wireless optical communication systems utilizing white LED lights and on the road illumination have been studying about it. Generally, plural lights are installed in room and considered to the traffic information system using existing LED traffic lights. Therefore, their optical path difference must be considered. In this paper, the influence of an optical path difference has been investigated and two approaches against this problem are introduced. One uses on-off keying, return-to-zero (OOK-RZ) coding and the other uses optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM).

  • 운송설비용 자율 주행 운반체는 인간의 지도없이 주어진 환경 내에서 장애물과 충돌을 회피하며 효율적으로 목표지점까지 주행할 수 있는 최적의 이동 경로를 생성해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 장애물과 충돌을 회피하는 전역 및 지역경로를 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 계획하였다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 운송설비용 자율 주행 운반체의 충돌회피 알고리즘은 전통적인 충돌회피 알고리즘에 비해 능률적임을 모의 실험을 통해 확인하였다.

  • An autonomous mobile vehicle for transport system must plan optimal path in work environment without human supervision and obstacle collision. This is to reach a destination without getting lost. In this paper, a genetic algorithm for global and local path planning and collision avoidance is proposed. The genetic algorithm searches for a path in the entire and continuous free space and unifies global path planning and local path planning. The simulation shows the proposed method is an efficient and effective method when compared with the traditional collision avoidance algorithms.

A Case Study of a Resource Reservation Protocol in IP Based Wireless Access Networks for ITS Service

  • For effective IP based service implementation on the wireless network environments, wireless network including the ITS network have to support QoS guaranteed protocol such as a RSVP. RSVP is a resource reservation protocol for Internet environment, and its scalability makes easy to implement RSVP over the various IP transport technologies. But for the If based ITS wireless network environment, RSVP is not suitable, since by its path setup procedure characteristic. In the wireless access network for ITS service, when a mobile node moves to other domain it must perform registration procedure. But the registration procedure is time consuming steps, so if a RSVP session was already established in the previous domain, the RSYP session may be disconnected and the time to re establish a new RSVP session is long enough to cause serious packet loss. In this paper, we propose a pre-path reservation mechanism for applying the RSVP in wireless access networks for ITS. In the pre-path reservation mechanism, the resource reservation procedure occurred during a mobile node's handoff time. An access point in wireless access network performs this procedure when the mobile node attempts handoff The access point executes pre-path reservation procedure as a proxy, since the mobile node does not have IP address until the address allocation procedure is finished in a new domain.

자유 공간 모델과 하타 모델을 이용한 러시아 PNG 지역의 경로 손실 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Path Loss Prediction for the PNG of Russia Using the Free Space Model and the Hata Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 800 ~ 900 MHz 주파수 대역에서 러시아 PNG 지역에 오쿠무라-하타 모델을 적용하여 경로 손실식을 구하였다. 기존의 경로 손실 모델을 이용하여 러시아 PNG 지역의 새로운 경로 손실 특성식을 구하기 위해서, 최소 자승 평균 기법을 적용하여 기존 모델에 대한 수정치를 구하였다. 자유 공간 및 하타 모델과 측정치의 수정치가 28, 13 dB 임을 알 수 있었으며, 이 값을 적용하여 러시아 PNG 지역에 맞는 새로운 경로손실 모델을 제시하였다.

Variation in the Main Kuroshio Path South of Japan

  • The time variation in the Kuroshio is studied by use of nine observed distances of the main Kuroshio axis from the Japanese coast. The observed distances over 1975 - 1995 are estimated from the Prompt Report of Oceanographic Conditions published by Hydrographic Department of the Maritime Safety Agency of Japan. It is shown that large sea level difference between Naze and Nishinoomote, which represents the volume transport of the southern inflow south of Kyushu, coincides with larger distance of the Kuroshio in the upstream area from off Kyushu to off eastern Kii Peninsula and smaller distance in the downstream area from off Omae-zaki to off Boso Peninsula. In contrast, large sea level difference between Nishinoomote and Aburatsu, which represents the volume transport of northern inflow south of Kyushu, corresponds to smaller distance in the upstream area and larger distance in the downstream area. Path dynamics of the Kuroshio is discussed with reference to the variation in Volume transport south of Kyushu.

실리콘 박막 트랜지스터 내 포논 평균자유행로 스펙트럼 비등방성 열전도 특성에 대한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Anisotropic Thermal Conduction by Phonon Mean Free Path Spectrum of Silicon in Silicon-on-Insulator Transistor)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실리콘 열전달 조절을 위한 포논의 평균자유행로(Mean free path, MFP) 스펙트럼 열전달 기여도 예측이다. 열전달의 크기 효과는 포논의 MFP 와 재료의 특성길이가 비슷할 때 나타나는데, 나노시스템 응용을 위한 재료의 열전달 증감을 위해 포논 MFP 스펙트럼에 대한 열전달 기여도 예측이 중요하다. 이를 위해 포논의 주파수 의존성이 고려된 볼츠만 수송방정식(Boltzmann transport equation) 근간의 full phonon dispersion 모델을 통해 실리콘 박막(Silicon-on-Insulator) 트랜지스터의 실리콘 박막 두께 변화(41-177 nm)에 따른 포논 MFP 스펙트럼 열전달 특성 및 비등방성을 해석함으로써, 본 연구 결과는 향후 박막 트랜지스터에 대한 고효율 열소산(heat dissipation) 설계전략에 활용될 수 있다.
