Research on the Correlation Between Rail Transit Entrances and Urban Form in High-Density Areas

  • The transport system and its infrastructure are not only the fundamental means of sustaining the operation of contemporary cities, but also important drivers for the evolution of urban form. Rail transit, critical to improving the operational efficiency and optimizing the spatial layout in cities, is one of the critical conditions for high-density areas with limited land and concentrated resources to be compact to take on complex challenges. As a node element of infrastructure, rail transit entrances are the most important points connecting the rail transit system with urban space. Although influenced by urban form, their quantity and location also influence and shape the evolution of urban space form. Based on the development gap of high-density areas in various contexts, focusing on various rail transit stations in Asia, this research analyzes the correlation between rail transit entrances and peripheral high-density urban form in a delicate, dynamic and granular way. The research considers both horizontal and vertical perspectives, in combination with the urban evolution process in time series, to explore the development trend of high-density urban form in Asia from the aspect of correlation, and building a new foundation for research on urban form, suitable for different types of cities.

버스 노선망 설계를 위한 평가모형 개발 (Develpment of Analysis and Evaluation Model for a bus Transit Route Network Design)

  • 본 연구에서는 버스 노선망 설계 과정에서 다양한 평가지표의 정략적 산출이 가능하고 관련 주체들의 입장과 시각을 반영할 수 있는 버스 노선체계 평가모형(BTRAEM: Bus Transit Route Analysis & Evaluation Model)을 개발하였다. 우리나라 대도시 버스 노선망의 서비스 수준을 평가하고 노선체계를 새롭게 정비하는데 있어 가장 큰 문제점은 평가지표를 정량화 할 수 있는 자료기반의 미흡과 노선망 분석체계 알고리즘의 한계로 계획가의 직관이나 경험에 의존하거나 교통수요분석 프로그램(EMME/2)에 기반하여 평가지표를 산출하여 노선망을 평가하고 있다는 것이다. 이러한 배경 하에서 이 연구에서는 평가모형의 정립을 위해서 국외의 버스 노선망 평가모형의 개발추이를 검토하고, 평가모형에 적용할 번스 노선망 설계 문제의 목적함수와 제약조선을 정의하였다. 또한 평가모형의 구동을 위해서 요구되는 입${\cdot}$출력자료구조와 정량화된 평가지표자료를 구축하였다. 마지막으로 버스 이용자들의 대중교통 노선 선택 및 통행배분모형을 평가모형내에 반영하였다. Visual-C++로 구현된 버스 노선망 평가모형을 Mandl's Transit Network에 적용한 결과, 노선망 구조의 성능을 특징짓는 변수들에 대한 의미있는 결과값이 도출되었다. 향후 이 연구에서 개발된 버스 노선망 평가모형은 다양한 버스 노선망 대안에 대해서 관련 이해당사자들의 입장과 시각을 균형 있게 반영할 수 있고 다양한 목표를 조화시킬 수 있는 평가가 가능하리라 기대된다.

  • Urban transit system consist of complex system such as vehicle, signal, train control equipment, railway facilities, electricity facilities, station facilities and information & communications facilities. So a study on construction of management system for complex system. using system-engineering tool, Urban transit standardization of steps 2 perform architecture for urban transit standardization, requirement management and data-base construction. A study expect that provide more efficient and methodical information system to all user for using standardization.

  • The government's financial subsidy system for the construction project of urban rail transit needs to be revised. In 1998, the central government raised its subsidy rate to 50$\%$ of the total cost of construction. The 'method for differentiating subsidies depending on construction type and transit System' is suggested here, so that a subsidy rate can be raised for the construction of Light Rail Transit, which costs less to construct. Such methods will force local governments to make decisions regarding construction method and project size in a more rational manner.

  • This paper concerns the location of the transit point between adjacent loops and guide direction of loops in the tandem configuration manufacturing system. The tandem configuration has been used to solve control problems like the vehicle dispatching and traffic control. The transit point between loops needs to deliver the parts from one loop to another. The location of transit point between adjacent loops and direction of loops must be determined to minimize the total travel time of parts in the manufacturing system. The model formulation is developed, a numerical example is shown.

  • To solve the traffic problems increased in the big cities, a lot of local transportation authorities are taking into account the New Transit system. But most of projects are pending due to the financial and technical issues. New Transit system has various kinds of characteristics in the view of system technology and operational features. The introduction of PRT system into the Korean market can be investigated through the comparison with other new transit modes.

  • This paper is about the maintenance CALS system development and construction for the urban transit railway. The operation companies of urban transit railway are driving to construct the maintenance CALS system individually. So, there are concerned problems of duplication investment and waste of budget in the national aspect, inefficient CALS system construction, and etc. In order to resolve that, the KRRI is driving to development and construction of the standardized maintenance CALS system for the urban transit railway. This paper describes the result of basic design of the standardized maintenance CALS system using the CBD development method.

  • Urban transit is system that offer target Performance and function because various lower part system such as vehicles, signaling, power supply, rail track is consisted as complex.   • Light-rail transit system has many characteristics of better accessibility. frequency service, low construction cost, reduced air pollution and medium-capacity public transport etc. Light rail transit system as a urban transportation system has been growing worldwide since the late 20th century. More than 300 cities around the world have light railway systems. Many medium-size cities in domestic site is planning the construction of light railway. This paper describes the development strategies for the light rail transit industry.

  • 경량전철(LRT: Light Rail Transit)은 중량전철에 비해 많은 장점을 가진 효과적인 대중교통수단이다. 따라서 많은 지자체에서 도입을 추진하고 있고, 부산광역시에서는 이미 반송선과 부산김해경전철 등 2개 노선을 국내 최초로 무인운행방식으로 도입하여 운행중에 있다. 본 연구는 이렇게 도입된 경전철과 관련한 이용자 측면의 서비스 만족도를 분석하고, 부족한 부분을 보완하여 경전철의 서비스를 개선해 나가는 데 우선순위를 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 실제 무인자동운전 경량전철(부산김해경전철과 반송선)의 이용자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 경량전철에 대한 안전성 의식과 서비스에 대한 이용만족도를 파악하고, 구조방정식 기법을 활용하여 두 개의 서비스 이용만족도 모형(반송선모형과 부산김해경전철모형)을 구축하여 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 이용자 중심의 경전철 서비스 개선대책과 우선순위를 도출하였다.
