판토그라프 접촉력 측정을 위한 스트레인 게이지 내장형 센서 개발 (Development of Load Cell to Measure Contact Force of Pantograph)

  • The KTX-Sancheon has been commercially operating on the high-speed line since March. 2. In order to verify the performance of high-speed train and core equipments such as current collection system, sophisticated tests and evaluating procedures should have been considering. In this paper, the load cell with a built-in strain-gauge which developed to improve measuring method of contact force between the pantograph and catenary system is introduced. The static test results of the load cell shows that its design is very suitable and applicable for the dynamic test and on-line test. After the test and evaluation of load cell's dynamic calibration with pantograph, we will be applied to test interaction characteristics between the pantograph and catenary system on the high-speed line.

  • This paper presents a now approach to the design of intelligent contorl system for track vehicle system using fuzzy logic based on neural network. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. Moreover, We develop a Windows 95 version dynamic simulator which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based of independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The dynamic simulator for track vehicle is developed by Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics. The performance of the proposed controller is illustrated by simulation for trajectory tracking of track vehicle speed.

건물냉방부하에 대한 동적 인버스 모델링기법의 EnergyPlus 건물모델 적용을 통한 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of a Dynamic Inverse Model with EnergyPlus Model Simulation for Building Cooling Loads)

  • This paper describes the application of an inverse building model to a calibrated forward building model using EnergyPlus program. Typically, inverse models are trained using measured data. However, in this study, an inverse building model was trained using data generated by an EnergyPlus model for an actual office building. The EnergyPlus model was calibrated using field data for the building. A training data set for a month of July was generated from the EnergyPlus model to train the inverse model. Cooling load prediction of the trained inverse model was tested using another data set from the EnergyPlus model for a month of August. Predicted cooling loads showed good agreement with cooling loads from the EnergyPlus model with root-mean square errors of 4.11%. In addition, different control strategies with dynamic cooling setpoint variation were simulated using the inverse model. Peak cooling loads and daily cooling loads were compared for the dynamic simulation.

차상중심 열차제어시스템의 현장시험을 통한 성능검증 (Field Test and Performance Verification of On-board Oriented Train Control System)

  • 국내의 저밀도 지선 구간에 적용되고 있는 지상 설비들은 주요 노선과 유사하게 설치되고 운영됨에 따라 운영 효율성 측면에서 적합하지 않은 문제를 가지고 있다. 이에 따라 열차의 안전과 운영 효율성을 도모하기 위해 개발된 차상중심 열차제어시스템은 고가의 지상신호 제어장치 없이 안전한 운행이 가능하도록 한다. 이러한 차상중심 열차제어시스템은 차상제어시스템, 선로변제어시스템, 운행관리시스템으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 현장에 차상제어장치와 선로변제어장치를 설치하여 적합성 시험을 비롯하여 통신 및 인터페이스 시험 수행 내용을 기술한다. 설치 검사는 전원, 전압, 케이블 연결, LED 상태 확인 등을 포함한다. 이를 바탕으로 실제와 유사하게 선로전환기, 건널목차단기를 포함한 가상노선에서 다양한 시나리오에 따른 동적 운영 시험을 통해 개발된 시스템의 현장 적용성을 검증한다. 총 7가지 시나리오에 대하여 동적 운영 시험이 수행되었고, 각 시나리오별로 여러 번 시험을 반복하였다. 메인 프로세스 로그를 분석하여 동작별 경과 시간을 계산하였으며, 대부분 수 초 이내에 동작이 이루어짐을 확인하였다. 또한 공인기관 입회하의 현장시험을 통하여 개발된 시스템을 검증하였고 시험성적서를 발급받았다.

전력회생 브레이크의 에너지 효율화 방안 연구 (A study on the way on energy efficiency of regenerative braking)

  • 전동차가 주행중에 브레이크 페달의 작동으로 주행모터의 양단에 발전된 전류는 전기에너지 특성상 바로 소비되지 않으면 제동력이 발생하지 않는 현상(회생 실효)가 발생하기 때문에 주변에 역행차량이 없거나 가선 전압이 안정되지 않는 경우 안정된 제동성능을 확보할 목적으로 발전제동을 병설한 차량이 존재하고 있다. 그래서 입력된 에너지의 55%를 전동차에서 소비하고 하구배 구간이나 회생 제동시 45%의 입력에너지 사용되며 그중25%는 가선을 통해 다른차 의 역행을 사용되므로 기존의 시스템을 크게 벗어나지 않고 회생 수단,회생 실효를 줄이기 위해서는 변전소의 배출전압저하(5%)정도 하여 회생시 지나친 가선 전압 상승를 완화 시킬 수 있다. 실제로 1호선 직류구간에 혼잡시간때 한구간에 상선기준으로 3대의 전동차가 운행되어 1500V의 전압측정과 비혼잡시간에는 1대~2대의 전동차정도 운행으로 1700~1800V 측정되므로 5%정도 조정은 운행에 지장을 초래하지 않을것으로 사료된다. 적정전압 측정 데이터을 통한 탄력적인 배출전압 조정을 통해 지하철 또한 에너지 소비효율을 위한 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

실차시험을 통한 팬터그래프 커버가 고속열차의 집전성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Effect of Pantograph Cover on the Current Collection Quality of High Speed Train using Real Train Experiment)

  • 팬터그래프와 전차선간의 접촉력 특성은 열차의 집전성능을 나타내는 중요한 특성으로서 국제규격에 따른 엄격한 관리가 필요한 항목이다. 최근에는 소음저감 커버가 고속열차의 팬터그래프 주위에 설치가 되고 있으나 팬터그래프 커버에 의한 접촉력 특성에 대한 연구는 거의 수행되지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 차세대고속열차(HEMU-430X)를 이용하여 팬터그래프 커버가 팬터그래프의 집전성능에 미치는 영향을 동적 접촉력 측정을 통하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 팬터그래프 커버가 부착이 되면 300km/h 주행 시 평균접촉력이 약 50N 낮아짐을 확인하였다. 또한 정적압상력을 제외한 순수한 팬터그래프 커버 유무에 의한 평균접촉력의 차이는 300km/h에서 최대 110N까지 측정되었다. 한편 팬터그래프 커버에 의하여 접촉력 표준편차가 약 3~5N 변화하는 것도 확인하였다.

한국형 고속전철 현가장치 최적설계를 위한 반응표면모델과 유전자 알고리즘 모델에 관한 연구 (A study on the response surface model and the neural network model to optimize the suspension characteristics for Korean High Speed Train)

  • In design of suspension system for KHST, it was applied the approximated optimization method using meta-models which called Response Surface Model and Neural Network Model for 29 design variables and 46 performance index. These models was coded using correlation between design variables and performance indices that is made by the 66 times iterative execution through the design of experimental table consisted orthogonal array L32 and D-Optimal design table. The results show that the optimization process is very efficient and simply applicable for complex mechanical system such as railway vehicle system. Also it was compared with the sensitivity of some design variables in order to know the characteristics of two models. This paper describes the general method for dynamic analysis and design process of railway vehicle system applied to KHST development, and proposed the efficient methods for vibration mode analysis process dealing with test data and the function based approximation method using meta-model applicable for a complex mechanical system. This method will be able to apply to the other railway vehicle system in oder to systematize and generalize the design process of railway vehicle dynamic system.

  • The maximum speed is one of the most important performance in high speed railway vehicle. The higher the train speed is, the worse the ride comfort is, In order to solve this problem, a semi-active or active suspension can be applied to high speed railway vehicle. The variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve is used in the semi-active suspension. But the variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve requires tank for supplying fluid. The MR(Magneto Rheological) damper can be considered instead of hydraulic variable damper which needs additional device, i.e. reserver tank for fluid. In the case of active suspension, hydraulic actuator or electro-mechanical one is used to suppress the carbody vibration in railway vehicle. In this study the MR damper and electro-mechanical actuator was considered in secondary suspension system of high speed railway vehicle. The dynamic analysis was performed by using 10-DOF dynamic equations of railway vehicle. The performance of the semi-active suspension and active suspension system were reviewed by using MATLAB/Simulink S/W. The vibration suppression effect of semi-active and active suspension system were investigated experimentally by using 1/5-scaled railway vehicle model.

  • Considering the dynamic performance and stability of railroad vehicles has begun to grab the attention because of developing the high speed train recently. A development based on an analysis of dynamics and verification has to be required to study the stability of vehicle performance. Several ways of analysis were using the look-up table to apply the wheel-rail contact characteristics quickly, whereas there is a constraint of the wheelset lateral displacement. In this study, an development of searching the wheel-rail contact position has been provided. The 2-point contact between wheel and rail during the driving condition can be calculated by numerical analysis. Moreover, a reliability is verified by comparing the result with a commercial program.

  • This paper analyzes the effect of the STATCOM on the improvement of the Fault Ride Through (FRT) capability of the fixed speed wind turbines(FSWTs). The steady-state models of the wind farm components, such as induction generator, capacitor bank, and the STATCOM, are developed based on the simplified equivalent circuit. Especially, the STATCOM is modeled as a controllable current source and a method that analytically determines the magnitude of the injection current is developed. For the quasi-steady-state(QSS) analysis, the steady-state model of the generator and STATCOM are merged with the dynamic model of drive train. The QSS simulation with the STATCOM shows that the STATCOM can enhance the FRT performance by improving the $W_r-T_e$ characteristics of the FSWTs.
