FM DARC용 교통정보 변환알고리즘 개발 (A Study on Developing Traffic Data Converting Algorithm for FM DARC)

  • 본 연구는 FM DARC(DAta Radio Channel) 부가방송을 이용하여 실시간 교통정보를 제공하기 위한 교통정보 변환알고리즘 개발을 목표로 한다. FM DARC 교통정보 제공시스템을 효과적으로 구축하기 위해서는 각종 검지기로부터 수집된 데이터가 하나의 표준화된 교통정보, 즉 정보의 양과 질 그리고 포맷이 같은 정보로 가공되어 전송되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 GIS 노드-링크 체계에 기반을 둔 교통정보 변환알고리즘을 개발하여 클라이언트/서버 환경의 FM DARC 교통정보시스템을 구현하여 보았다. 본 논문은 FM DARC에 관하여 간략하게 서술한 후 GIS DB와 교통정보 변환알고리즘 그리고 구현된 시스템에 내한 내용으로 구성되었다.

A Visual Simulation of Car-Traffic Flow on a Crossing

  • In order to understand information of geographic information systems(GIS) exactly and easily, visualization technique becomes important. In this paper, we consider car-traffic which is one of the information accompanying with a map. Then, a visual simulation method is proposed for car-traffic flow at crossing with the cell-automaton and the ray tracing method. We simulate the various situations and discuss about changes of traffic.

수도권 도로 교통 표지판의 인지 공학적 평가 분석 (Ergonomic(Cognitive) Evaluation of the Traffic Sign System around Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • Traffic signs without a cognitive consideration in their design may cause information-processing problem that could result in a mental confusion among drivers often lead to a serious traffic accident. Therefore, in this study, several traffic signs currently used in Seoul Metropolitan area have been sampled and analyzed to identify design problems that usually caused by neglecting drivers cognitive ability. To classify the practical design problems, five major information-processing problems have been suggested: indistinguishable information, information conflict, missing information, sign-load mismatch, and information overload. In order to solve these cognitive problems, new traffic signs have been suggested in this study. An experiment was also performed to validate the new traffic sign. Twenty-four healthy subjects participated in the experiment. They were asked to answer the Question after observing the traffic signs continuously displayed on computer screen. The result indicated that subjects improved the accuracy in understanding the signs by 1.4 times when they used the suggested traffic sign compared to the old one. Based upon the results, a cognitive guideline was suggested for correct and speedy reading of traffic signs by improving information processing and reducing of human error. In conclusion, the traffic sign may well be applied to design an intelligent traffic sign system to increase the safety and comfort of drivers, especially in complex load condition.

  • 국내에서 이루어지고 있는 부분적인 교통량분석 장비에는 여러 문제점과 한계성을 가지고 있다. 또한, 교통량분석 장비를 통하여 획득한 기존의 교통량 정보는 실시간 제공이 되지 못하고, 도심지의 경우 교통량 밀도분석과 시계열 분석이 어려워 적절한 도로용량 파악의 신뢰성 확보에 한계가 있고, 교통소통 제어관련 정보를 제공하지 못하는 등 도로정책 수립에 활용하기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 실시간 교통량조사를 통한 정확한 도로소통정보와 후처리 통계분석에 의한 도로소통정보를 통해 정확하고 신속한 교통 및 도로소통정책수립이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 차량위치정보를 교통정보화하여 교통관제센터로 교통정보를 전송할 수 있는 인공위성측량 기술기반의 차량용 교통정보수집시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 전송된 교통정보를 관리 분석하고 처리된 도로소통정보를 실시간으로 웹상에 제공해줄 수 있는 웹 지리정보체계 기술기반의 교통관제시스템을 개발하였다.

준실시간 해상교통 정보를 반영한 자율운항 알고리즘 검증용 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발 (Simulation System Development for Verification of Autonomous Navigation Algorithm Considering Near Real-Time Maritime Traffic Information)

  • In this study, a simulation system was developed to verify autonomous navigation algorithm in complex maritime traffic areas. In particular, real-world maritime traffic scenario was applied by considering near real-time maritime traffic information provided by Korean e-Navigation service. For this, a navigation simulation system of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) was integrated with an e-Navigation equipment, called Electronic Chart System (ECS). To verify autonomous navigation algorithm in the simulation system, initial conditions including initial position of an own ship and a set of paths for the ship to follow are assigned by an operator. Then, considering real-world maritime traffic information obtained from the service, the simulation is implemented in which the ship repeatedly travels by avoiding surrounding obstacles (e.g., approaching ships). In this paper, the developed simulation system and its application on verification of the autonomous navigation algorithm in complex maritime traffic areas are introduced.

  • This paper analyzes performance measures of a Bluetooth_based mobile home network system. The home network system consists of terminals with Bluetooth interfaces, access points (AP), a home PC, and a gateway A mobile host in wireless terminals uses Mobile IP for supporting the mobility This paper considers four types of data traffic, which are new connection traffic, handoff traffic, Internet data traffic, and control data traffic and suggests a queueing system model of the home network system, where the AP and the home PC are modeled as M/G/1 with four priority queues and the gateway is modeled as M/G/1 with a single queue The generation rate and service time of individual traffic influence their performance measures. Based ell the suggested model, we propose the elapsed time of data traffic in terms of the number of cells, the number of Home PCs, arrival rates of four types of traffic and the service rates of AP/Home PCs/Gateway To analyze influences on the elapsed time with respect to arrival rate of four types of traffic, some examples are given.

국지지역 도로 기반 시설에서 안전운전을 위한 경보 정보 설계 (Amber Information Design to Keep Safety-Driving Under Road Structure at Local-Scale Geographic)

  • In order to keep safe driving conditions under road networks, there are several formations such as road structure, road surface condition, traffic occupancy and supplement of an accurate information of traffic status ahead To support safe-driving on each road formation, each formation is supplied with various information to help the driver. However, in some cases like rapid status change at local-scale geography, traffic information systems often displays insufficient information because of the lack of information correlation. In order to accurately aware the driver, all road formation must be in sync. It is important to supply accurate information to the driver because this information directly impacts the drivers on the road. This paper discusses the amber information to keep the least safety driving over road formations including tunnels and bridges. This paper also will propose the informations for safe-driving conditions, information linkage on the road and rule-base safety information, as ITS technology, being displayed for all drivers under the worst weather conditions.

  • Real-time traffic detection scheme based on Computer Vision is capable of efficient traffic control using automatically computed traffic information and obstacle detection in moving automobiles. Traffic information is extracted by segmenting vehicle region from road images, in traffic detection system. In this paper, we propose the advanced segmentation of vehicle from road images using multiple local region information. Because multiple local region overlapped in the same lane is processed sequentially from small, the traffic detection error can be corrected.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 통합도로교통 서비스 체계 구현을 위한 교통정보센터를 구축하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존의 교통정보센터 기능과 운영현황을 분석하고, 통합도로교통정보 서비스를 제공하는 교통정보센터를 개발함으로서 안전지향형 통합도로교통정보센터의 구현사례를 소개한다. 지능형교통체계는 안전지향의 통합도로교통정보 서비스 제공을 통한 교통안전체계를 구현할 뿐 만 아니라 전방의 홍수, 폭설 낙석, 도로유실 붕괴 등과 같은 자연재해 및 긴급상황 발생시 관련 정보를 시의 적절하게 제공함으로써 운전자의 안전한 도로운행을 지원하게 된다. 따라서 통합도로교통정보 서비스체계의 교통정보센터는 국민들에게 편리하게 사용할 수 있는 대국민 교통정보 서비스 제공으로 이용자 친화형 교통관리체계와 통합도로교통정보센터 기능을 실현하는데 일조할 것이다.

  • In this paper, we suggested and verified the effective traffic information transfer methods using the GPS (Global positioning system) and voice broadcasting. We suggested four traffic information selection methods with their testing algorithms. A traffic information transfer simulation system is developed for testing the recommended methods. In the result, we compared and analyzed efficiency of suggested methods.
