온톨로지 트리기반 멀티에이전트 세만틱 유사도매칭 알고리즘 (A Multi-Agent Improved Semantic Similarity Matching Algorithm Based on Ontology Tree)

  • Semantic-based information retrieval techniques understand the meanings of the concepts that users specify in their queries, but the traditional semantic matching methods based on the ontology tree have three weaknesses which may lead to many false matches, causing the falling precision. In order to improve the matching precision and the recall of the information retrieval, this paper proposes a multi-agent improved semantic similarity matching algorithm based on the ontology tree, which can avoid the considerable computation redundancies and mismatching during the entire matching process. The results of the experiments performed on our algorithm show improvements in precision and recall compared with the information retrieval techniques based on the traditional semantic similarity matching methods.

  • The recognition limit of brightness difference in the visual system of human has not been studied system-atically. In this paper, endeavor to calculate surround adapted Weber-Fechner fractions based on the crispening effect was added to the traditional Weber-Fechner fractions. It is found that surround adapted fractions have reduced to 1/3 of the traditional fractions. As compared with Breitmeyer's experiments, the presented result is a reasonable one. It can be used as some guide to design the digital display system when a designer needs to decide bit count of digital signal in considering of the limit of brightness level, and as the inspection tool of display manufacturing of brightness smear, defect, and so on.

A Federated Multi-Task Learning Model Based on Adaptive Distributed Data Latent Correlation Analysis

  • Federated learning provides an efficient integrated model for distributed data, allowing the local training of different data. Meanwhile, the goal of multi-task learning is to simultaneously establish models for multiple related tasks, and to obtain the underlying main structure. However, traditional federated multi-task learning models not only have strict requirements for the data distribution, but also demand large amounts of calculation and have slow convergence, which hindered their promotion in many fields. In our work, we apply the rank constraint on weight vectors of the multi-task learning model to adaptively adjust the task's similarity learning, according to the distribution of federal node data. The proposed model has a general framework for solving optimal solutions, which can be used to deal with various data types. Experiments show that our model has achieved the best results in different dataset. Notably, our model can still obtain stable results in datasets with large distribution differences. In addition, compared with traditional federated multi-task learning models, our algorithm is able to converge on a local optimal solution within limited training iterations.

Taste Components of Soy Sauce Manufactured by Bacillus Species SSA3-2M1 and Fused ST723-F31

  • In order to investigate fermenting conditions and the microorganisms necessary for factory production of traditional Korean soy sauce, we manufactured soy sauce made by Bacillus species SSA3-2M1 and fused ST723-F31 with aeration (1/30 vvm, 113 vvm and 2/3 vvm) at $30^{\circ}C$ for 40 days. This method was chosen to investigate the changes of dissolved oxygen, pH, cell number, flavor and the taste components during fermentation. When air was supplied (2/3 vvm) to the fermentor during fermentation, the flavor of the soy sauce and the composition of taste components (free amino acids, free sugars and organic acids) were similar to that of traditional Korean soy sauce after 22 days. The results of our experiments indicates that the mass production of traditional Korean soy sauce is possible using Bacillus species SSA3-2M1 and fused ST723-F31 given sufficient aeration.

한의 정보의 계산적 방법 조사 (Computational Methods for Traditional Korean Medicine : A survey)

  • Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) has been actively researched through various approaches, including computational methods. This paper aims at providing an overview of domestic studies using the computational techniques in TKM field. A literature search was conducted in Korean publications using OASIS system, and major studies of data mining in TKM were identified. A review was presented in six diagnosis fields, including sasang constitution diagnosis, eight constitution diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, pattern diagnosis for stroke, diagnosis based on ontology, diagnosis for cause of disease. They collect clinical data themselves for experiments and primarily applied a algorithm of decision tree, SVM, neural network, case-based reasoning, ontology reasoning, discriminant analysis. In the future, there needs to identify which algorithm is suitable to diagnosis or other fields of TKM.

  • 기존 진단법과 달리 동적 하중조건하 회전체의 마모 단계에 따른 결함 진단을 위해 비접촉, 비파괴의 적외선 열화상 기법이 제안된다. 본 연구에서는 시험시편인 단열 깊은 홈의 볼 베어링을 설정하여 기존의 스펙트럼 분석과 같은 고장탐지법에 대한 대안으로써 수동형 열화상시험이 수행되었다. 본 연구로부터, 적외선 열화상시험은 신뢰성을 평가하기 위해 기존 진동 스펙트럼 분석시험과 비교, 분석되었다. 연구의 비파괴시험의 결과로써, 마모 단계에 따른 볼 베어링의 온도 특성이 분석되었다.

  • To examine the behaviors of traditional wooden structural frame in Korea in direction of beam, an experimental study was performed. The interior frame of Daewoongjeon of Bongjeongsa was selected as a model, which has two short exterior columns and one high inside column. The experimental frame has 1/2 scale and lateral forces are applied at high inside column by using drift control. The vertical gravity loads are applied on the frame. From the results of experiment it was shown that the stiffness and lateral capacity of the frame was increased when vertical loads are applied and the force-drift relationship in positive load direction was not same as in negative load direction. And push-over analysis are performed by using macro model in which the rotational and shear springs which were derived from the another experiments of subassemblies were used. The numerical analysis with macro model showed a good correspondence with the experiment within 2% story drift.

Ginseng in Traditional Herbal Prescriptions

  • Panax ginseng Meyer has been widely used as a tonic in traditional Korean, Chinese, and Japanese herbal medicines and in Western herbal preparations for thousands of years. In the past, ginseng was very rare and was considered to have mysterious powers. Today, the efficacy of drugs must be tested through well-designed clinical trials or meta-analyses, and ginseng is no exception. In the present review, we discuss the functions of ginseng described in historical documents and describe how these functions are taken into account in herbal prescriptions. We also discuss the findings of experimental pharmacological research on the functions of ginseng in ginseng-containing prescriptions and how these prescriptions have been applied in modern therapeutic interventions. The present review on the functions of ginseng in traditional prescriptions helps to demystify ginseng and, as a result, may contribute to expanding the use of ginseng or ginseng-containing prescriptions.

만형자 용매 분획물의 미백 개선 효과 (Whitening Effects of Solvent Fractions Isolated from Vitex rotundifolia)

  • 최근에는 hyper-pigmentation에 대한 제품 개발을 위해 melanogenesis의 경로에 대한 이해를 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 만형자(Vitex rotundifolia)의 depigmentation에 대한 효과를 조사하였다. B16F10 mouse melanoma cell을 이용하여 tyrosinase, MITF, TRP-1, TRP-2 그리고 melanin synthesis의 저해를 확인하였고, 만형자 ethyl acetate 분획물(VR-EA)을 처리하였을 때 농도의존적으로 감소한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히, VR-EA는 tyrosinase와 TRP-1의 경우 각각 53.2, 88.4%의 저해율을 보여 미백에 있어서 효과적인 활성을 보여주었다. 따라서 만형자는 melanin synthesis를 효과적으로 막아주어 미백소재로서 활용 가능성이 충분하다고 사료된다.

Study on the mechanical behaviors of timber frame with the simplified column foot joints

  • Column foot in traditional Chinese timber structures may be subjected to be uplifted due to the lateral load and subsequently reset under the vertical loads. The residual moment of the rocking column foot is the most important parameter representing the mechanical behaviors of column foot, and the simplification of joints is the basis of structural analysis of whole structure. The complicated mechanical behaviors of joint and the modeling of the column foot joint has been undertaken historically based on the experiments and numerical simulation. On the condition of limited application range of those models, a lack of simplified model to represent the mechanical behaviors of joint deserves attentions. There is a great need to undertake theoretical studies to derive the residual moment and make better simplified model of the joint. This paper proposes the residual moment and equivalent simplified model of the rotational stiffness for column foot joint. And, the timber frame is established based on the simplified model, which is verified by solid finite element model. Results show that a mutual agreement on the mechanical behaviors of the timber frame is obtained between the simplified model and the solid finite element model. This study can serve as the references of the structural analysis for the traditional timber structures.
