  • Since the Kyoto Protocol was released in 2005, there has been a number of mechanisms about funding and how to allocate the burdens. The UNFCCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)have discussed establishing an international fund to support the reduction of a greenhouse gas. As the availability of adaption finance for developing countries increase, it's needed for a way of prioritizing countries. This article analyzes the carbon reduction system that includes a emission trading scheme, a carbon tax and examines GCF(Green Climate Fund)'s role and needs. A solution to finance Green Climate Fund is more preferred a harmonized carbon tax that across all nations with carbon tax. Especially the role of industrialized countries is important that based on their historical responsibility for fossil fuel emission. That is, they should get more shares of the global costs than developing countries.

  • WASP which is used to plan generation expansion has disadvantages that can't manage environmental factors and regional supply-demand planning. But with the effectuation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Kyoto Protocol, it is expected that reducing greenhouse gases affects power system in its long-term generation expansion planning. Therefore national countermeasures is needed. This paper formulates a mathematical model considering CO2 emission constraints and Emission Trading that will be enforced. This model is based on the ORIRES which was made by ESI, Russia and manages generation expansion planning. And this mathematical model is verified by studying a case system.

  • Korean Government has provided special support to Korean export industry during past 40 years. However, due to the agreement on UR and appearance of WTO, the Government can't provide most of the subsidies which were allowed before WTO era. Hence, export insurance system became more useful tool since it's one of the few allowed subsidies under WTO. This study tries to find the impacts of export insurance systems on the exports in Korea, the United States, and Japan. Firstly, this study surveyed the export insurance systems of Korea, the United States, and Japan. Then, using a regression analysis it analysed the effects of export insurance systems upon the exports in Korea, the United States, and Japan respectively. The period of data is from 1980 to 1999. The results of the regression analysis for export insurance showed significant and positive effects of both Korean and Japanese but the United States showed insignificant and positive upon the exports.

  • Nine FTA like Korea-Chile FTA, Korea-Singapore FTA, Korea-EFTA FTA, Korea-ASEAN FTA, Korea-India CEPA, Korea-EU FTA, Korea-U.S.A. FTA, Korea-Peru FTA and Korea-Turkey have been concluded and implemented in 46 countries as of May, 2013. In addition to these nine FTA, Korea has been negotiating FTA or CEPA(Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) with China and Vietnam and Indonesia. Now Korean government is about to conclude FTA agreement with Indonesia which is one of crucial trading partners in Asian countries so the objective of this paper is to suggest how to design ROO schemes properly in such upcoming FTA agreement since more activation of trade and more utilization of FTA can be depend on the details of ROO schemes. As a result, this paper suggests well-design of ROO schemes as follows ; First, self-issuance origin proof system can be considered because authority-issuance origin proof system may reduce the utilization ratio of FTA. Second, combination of indirect and direct verification system in terms of origin verification system will be more preferable because this will be more fitting to Asian countries as considering trading environments and characteristics of Asian market. Third, criteria to determine origin can be based on wholly obtained plus substantial transformation system which contains CTC plus VC along with some percentage of de minimis. In addition to this, the number of products stipulated in PSR should be minimized and applied similar manner to avoid complexity of deciding origin.

  • The basis of cyber trading has been sufficiently developed with innovative advancement of Internet Technology and the tendency of stock market investment has changed from long-term investment, which estimates the value of enterprises, to short-term investment, which focuses on getting short-term stock trading margin. Hence, this research shows a Short-term Stock Price Forecasting System on Learning Agent System using DTA(Decision Tree Algorithm) ; it collects real-time information of interest and favorite issues using Agent Technology through the Internet, and forms a decision tree, and creates a Rule-Base Database. Through this procedure the Short-term Stock Price Forecasting System provides customers with the prediction of the fluctuation of stock prices for each issue in near future and a point of sales and purchases. A Human being has the limitation of analytic ability and so through taking a look into and analyzing the fluctuation of stock prices, the Agent enables man to trace out the external factors of fluctuation of stock market on real-time. Therefore, we can check out the ups and downs of several issues at the same time and figure out the relationship and interrelation among many issues using the Agent. The SPFA (Stock Price Forecasting System) has such basic four phases as Data Collection, Data Processing, Learning, and Forecasting and Feedback.

  • The customer loyalty has been decreasing dramatically in e-Business environments such as cyber trading, shopping, banking, and portal services. However, little research has been done so far in order to analysis the newly emerging concept and changing nature of the e-Business customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether the quality of e-Business information systems has any impact on customer loyalty. The quality, which is tee independent construct in this study, is divided into three variables: basic system quality, information contents quality, and service quality. Cyber systems of 40 domestic stock trading firms were chosen as target e-Business information systems Both online survey and traditional field survey were employed in order to collect data, and more than 8,000 cyber customers have responded. The results of statistical analysis show that all of three independent variables have statistically significant effects on customer loyalty and, among three variables, the basic system quality has the strongest impact.

  • According to Law on Allocation and Trading of GHG Allowances of 2013 in Korea as well as the 2014 National Master Plan for Korean Emissions Trading System, the System should be designed to minimize the change in the market positions of the affected firms. In this paper, we investigate how that principle might become ineffective by the ways of distributing allowances and applying different accounting methods using a Cournot duopoly model. Although the way of allocating allowances freely to firms combined with accounting them for having no values would minimize their market positions, it would not the most cost-effective way of GHG reduction since it does not provide financial market with accurate informations.

  • The aim of this study is to utilize system trading for making investment decisions and use technical analysis and Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) to determine similar patterns in the frequency of stock data and ascertain the optimal timing for trade. The study will examine some of the most common patterns in the futures market and use DTW in terms of their frequency (10, 30, 60 minutes, and daily) to discover similar patterns. The recognized similar patterns were verified by executing trade simulation after applying specific strategies to the technical indicators. The most profitable strategies among the set of strategies applied to common patterns were again applied to the similar patterns and the results from DTW pattern recognition were examined. The outcome produced useful information on determining the optimal timing for trade by using DTW pattern recognition through system trading, and by applying distinct strategies depending on data frequency.

So, Korean government prepared "the colligation plan for electronic commerce activating" and WTO decides to prolong no custom on e-commerce till November 2001 when the fourth WTO Ministerial Conference holds a meeting. OECD discussed the construction of intellectual property rights of the global dimension at the Global Forum on January 2001 and reached to research the social influence of B-to-B e-commerce and to pursue the acceleration of e-commerce. UNCITRAL(United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) enacted UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Commerce in order to activate e-commerce, and Bolero.net serves electronic Bill of Lading to facilitate cyber trading. The purpose of this paper is to present the direction of confrontation to the these internal and external changes of business environment to Korean enterprises. Off-line enterprises should move fast to e-commerce on the condition that the existing trading at the original markets runs parallel with e-commerce. n needed, off-line enterprises should consider M&A with existing on-line firms. Also, off-line firms make use of Bolero system so that they can carry through paperless trade which means the achievement of efficiency in trading, On-line enterprises should advertise in the form of banner by combination of push and pull styles. B-to-B e-commerce firms should not depend on only the commissions, but they should create characteristic earnings by their peculiar services.
