The first dental visit is recommended at the time of the eruption of the first tooth and no later than 12 months of age. However, even before the age of 1, children can visit the dental hospital for various reasons. The purpose of this study was to analyze the reasons for the dental visit of infant. From January 2006 to December 2015, medical records of infants who visited the Department of Pediatric Dentistry of Kyung Hee University were analyzed. The total number of patients was 419 (238 males and 181 females). The reasons for the dental visits were trauma (47.5%), natal/neonatal tooth (19.8%), dental caries (8.1%), teething problem (4.3%), abnormal frenum (3.6%), soft tissue swelling (3.6%), Bohn's nodule (3.3%), cleft lip and palate (2.9%), gingival neoplasm (1.9%), tongue ulceration (1.7%), oral examination (1.4%), enamel hypoplasia (1.2%) and abnormal temporomandibular joint sound (0.7%). According to this study, there were various oral diseases that could occur in infants. Since infants are usually cared by caregivers, pediatricians, and obstetricians, education of oral diseases of infants is needed to manage the oral symptoms properly.

This paper describes a personalized advertisement technique as a part of intelligent customer services in Internet shopping malls. Based on customers' initial profile, purchase history, and behaviors in an Internet shopping mall, the technique displays appropriate advertisements on Internet web pages when customers' visit to the shopping mall. Customers preference scores for product groups which are main sources to select advertisements, are stored either a preference table or preference trees. Both of the two storage methods can support selection of advertisements on real time, and the preference tree method can reflect affinity among product groups. The suggested technique selects different advertisements to reflect changes of customers preferences as time goes by. An experiment has been performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the algorithm, which revealed that the algorithm selects more customer-oriented advertisements rather than random selection.

Construction inspection and monitoring are key activities in construction projects. Automation of inspection tasks improves the limitations and inefficiencies of manual construction inspections, enabling systematic and consistent construction inspections. In this paper, an RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) system is used to remotely manage and supervise the construction site without having to visit the construction site by deploying a robot on site on behalf of four construction stakeholders (owner, supervisor, constructor, and designer). I would like to propose. The proposed system can contribute to identifying and monitoring the process process and work results at the construction site in real time.
This paper analysed the RBRVS for a doctor's consultation by measuring the time consumed in outpatient consultation, and compared the time among medical doctors, dentist, and oriental medical doctors. The time used in consultation could be a proxy for measuring RBRVS for medical services because it is the only common factor we observe in three different clinical settings. The results show that the optimal RBRVS for consultation is 183.22 for medical doctor, 99.12 for dentist, and 236.17 for oriental medical doctor. This implies the current fee schedule for consultation should be revised as 10,740 Won for a visit to medical doctor, 5,808 Won for dentist, and 13,832 Won for oriental medical doctor.
Online consumers browse products belonging to a particular product line or brand for purchase, or simply leave a wide range of navigation without making purchase. The research on the behavior and purchase of online consumers has been steadily progressed, and related services and applications based on behavior data of consumers have been developed in practice. In recent years, customization strategies and recommendation systems of consumers have been utilized due to the development of big data technology, and attempts are being made to optimize users' shopping experience. However, even in such an attempt, it is very unlikely that online consumers will actually be able to visit the website and switch to the purchase stage. This is because online consumers do not just visit the website to purchase products but use and browse the websites differently according to their shopping motives and purposes. Therefore, it is important to analyze various types of visits as well as visits to purchase, which is important for understanding the behaviors of online consumers. In this study, we explored the clustering analysis of session based on click stream data of e-commerce company in order to explain diversity and complexity of search behavior of online consumers and typified search behavior. For the analysis, we converted data points of more than 8 million pages units into visit units' sessions, resulting in a total of over 500,000 website visit sessions. For each visit session, 12 characteristics such as page view, duration, search diversity, and page type concentration were extracted for clustering analysis. Considering the size of the data set, we performed the analysis using the Mini-Batch K-means algorithm, which has advantages in terms of learning speed and efficiency while maintaining the clustering performance similar to that of the clustering algorithm K-means. The most optimized number of clusters was derived from four, and the differences in session unit characteristics and purchasing rates were identified for each cluster. The online consumer visits the website several times and learns about the product and decides the purchase. In order to analyze the purchasing process over several visits of the online consumer, we constructed the visiting sequence data of the consumer based on the navigation patterns in the web site derived clustering analysis. The visit sequence data includes a series of visiting sequences until one purchase is made, and the items constituting one sequence become cluster labels derived from the foregoing. We have separately established a sequence data for consumers who have made purchases and data on visits for consumers who have only explored products without making purchases during the same period of time. And then sequential pattern mining was applied to extract frequent patterns from each sequence data. The minimum support is set to 10%, and frequent patterns consist of a sequence of cluster labels. While there are common derived patterns in both sequence data, there are also frequent patterns derived only from one side of sequence data. We found that the consumers who made purchases through the comparative analysis of the extracted frequent patterns showed the visiting pattern to decide to purchase the product repeatedly while searching for the specific product. The implication of this study is that we analyze the search type of online consumers by using large - scale click stream data and analyze the patterns of them to explain the behavior of purchasing process with data-driven point. Most studies that typology of online consumers have focused on the characteristics of the type and what factors are key in distinguishing that type. In this study, we carried out an analysis to type the behavior of online consumers, and further analyzed what order the types could be organized into one another and become a series of search patterns. In addition, online retailers will be able to try to improve their purchasing conversion through marketing strategies and recommendations for various types of visit and will be able to evaluate the effect of the strategy through changes in consumers' visit patterns.

The purpose of Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) is to design the least costly (distance, time) routes for a fleet of identically capacitated vehicles to serve geographically scattered customers. There may be some restrictions such as the maximal capacity for each vehicle, maximal distance for each vehicle, time window to visit the specific customers, and so forth. This paper is concerned with VRP to minimize the sum of elapsed time from departure, where the elapsed time is defined as the time taken in a moving vehicle from the depot to each customer. It is important to control the time taken from departure in the delivery of perishable products or foods, whose freshness may deteriorate during the delivery time. An integer linear programming formulation is suggested and a heuristic for practical use is constructed. The heuristic is based on the set partitioning problem whose performances are compared with those of ILOG dispatcher. It is shown that the suggested heuristic gave good solutions within a short computation time by computational experiments.
Purpose: Most patients with acute low back pain visit emergency room (ER). They mostly need beds, and if their length of stay is longer, it can become difficult to accommodate new patients at the ER. We analyzed the treatment process of patients with back pain and tried to find method for shortening of the length of stay at the ER. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the medical records of patients with back pain who visited at our ER for one year. Patients were divided into two groups according to their length of stay at ER and were compared the charateristcs of between two groups. Results: A total of 274 patients were included in the study. Eigthy-nine patients (32.5%) were in the group with less than 3 hours and 185 patients (67.5%) were in the other group. In the comparison of the two groups according to the medical departments, the number of patients who were in group with more than 3 hours were 25 (14.0%) in the emergency department, 94 (50.5%) in neurosurgery, 66 (35.5%) in orthopedic surgery. Length of stay was significantly increased in orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery (p=0.014). In addition, the length of stay was longer when computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging examinations were performed (p=0.000). Regardless of the type of analgesic agent, the median time to the analgesic treatment was shorter in the group with less than 3 hours (p=0.034). Conclusions: In patients with back pain who visit the ER, the emergency medicine doctor will early control the pain and do not unnecessary image examination to reduce a length of stay at the ER.

Purpose: Febrile urinary tract infection (UTI) is one of the commonest bacterial infections in children. The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical characteristics of the first episode of febrile UTI occurring in children over 5 years compared to those in infants younger than a year. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 10 patients over 5 years, having febrile UTI, and 25 controls under 1 year. Clinical characteristics including symptoms at admission, the time interval between symptom onset and hospital visit and/or diagnosis, duration of fever, urinalysis, and other laboratory and imaging test results were compared between the two groups. Results: Most patients in the control group showed only high fever at the time of presentation to the hospital. However, 60% of the case group had fever along with gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms such as abdominal and flank pain, vomiting, as well as relatively mild pyuria. The case group showed a longer duration between symptom onset and hospital visit and/or diagnosis. Conclusions: Delay in diagnosis and initiation of treatment of UTI increases the risk of permanent renal scarring and associated complications. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment of febrile UTI is vital for very young infants, as well as children considering that febrile UTI could be an important cause of febrile illness in children over 5 years.
Objective : We used herbal medicine to treat various disease and also to keep good general condition of children. We aimed to evaluate the effect of herbal medicine on the growth of children treated with herbal medicine. Method: We studied 187 children who visited the department of Pediatrics, KyungHee Oriental Medical Hospital from March 2004 to August 2004. They meet condition as follows; they were treated for more than 6 months and they visited our clinic more than 3 times. Whenever patients visited our hospital, we measured their height, body weight and obesity degree using DS-102(dszenix, Seoul). We measured height percentile of first time visit, and that of last time visit. And we compared them using the Growth Statistics Curve made by the Korean Association of Pediatrics, 1998. Results : The mean growth of total children showed 4.04 percentile upwardly; the growth- up percentile of boys was 4.52 and that of girls was 3.26. Analysis according to disease resulted as follows; children with respiratory disease showed 10.29 percentile growth-up, digestive disease 4.21percentile, urinary disease 4 percentile, allergic disease 2.65 percentile, weak children 2.52 percentile and other disease 3.19 percentile. Conclusion : Herbal medical treatment helped growth not only in children who took medicine for growth retardation problem but children with various disease. Moreover herbal medical treatment applied to keep good general condition of children also gave positive effect on the growth of children.
