Strategic Model Design based on Core Competencies for Innovation in Engineering Education

  • As the direction of education in the fourth industry in the 21st century, convergence talent education that emphasizes the connection and convergence between core competency-based education and academia is emerging to foster creative talent. The purpose of this paper is to present the criteria for evaluating the competency of learning outcomes in order to develop a strategic model for innovation in engineering teaching-learning. In this paper, as a study to establish the direction of implementation of convergence talent education, a creative innovation teaching method support system was established to improve the quality of convergence talent education. Firstly, a plan to develop a teaching-learning model based on computing thinking. Secondly, it presented the development of a teaching-learning model based on linkage and convergence learning. Thirdly, we would like to present educational appropriateness and ease based on convergence learning in connection with curriculum improvement strategies based on computing thinking skills. Finally, we would like to present a strategic model development plan for innovation in engineering teaching-learning that applies the convergence talent education program.

간호교육 성과 측정 도구의 탐색 (Exploratory Study on Scales of Nursing Education Outcome)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and evaluate outcome measurement scales of nursing education such as communication, professionalism, leadership, and critical thinking. Methods: A methodological study design was used to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scales. Survey was done to the students (n=407) enrolled in baccalaureate nursing schools. Using convenience sampling method, we tried to include all grades of students. Internal consistency, convergent validity and group comparison were used to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scales. Results: All scales were reliable and valid. Only convergent validity of the scale to measure critical thinking was relatively low. It suggested that critical thinking skill and disposition might be measured separately. Also it was inefficient to measure the nursing education outcomes with separate scales. Conclusions: It is recommended to develop a new integrative scale to measure nursing education outcomes. Also it is necessary to set the norm of nursing students to evaluate nursing education outcomes for the quality control of nursing education.

문항반응이론을 적용한 융합적 사고 및 문제해결 역량진단 도구의 병렬 단축형 개발 : H 대학교를 중심으로 (Development of Parallel Short Forms of the Convergent Thinking and Problem Solving Inventory Utilizing Item Response Theory : A Case Study of Students in H University)

  • The study was conducted to develop two parallel short forms for the Convergent thinking and Problem solving questionnaires which are part of H University's core competency diagnostic tools, based on Multi-Item Response Theory. Item responses of 2,580 students were analyzed using Graded Response Model(GRM) to determine item difficulty and discrimination of each item. The research results are as follows. Two parrallel short tests were developed for the Convergent thinking questionnaire consisting of 12 items which were originally 17 items. Likewise, the Problem solving questionnaire, which originally consisted of 15 questions, was divided into two parallel short forms, each consisting of 9 items. The reliability of the shortened parallel tests was confirmed through internal consistency analysis, and their similarity to the original tests was established through correlation analysis. This study contributed to quality management of competency-based education and programs at H University by developing shortened tests. Based on the results, implications were presented as well as limitations and discussions.

비판적 사고와 간호근무환경이 간호사의 임상적 의사결정에 미치는 영향 (Effects of critical thinking and nursing practice environment on clinical decision making among nurses)

  • 본 연구는 간호사의 비판적 사고 및 간호근무환경과 임상적 의사결정의 관련성을 확인하고 임상적 의사결정에 미치는 관련요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 서울시내 일개 상급 종합병원에서 근무하는 간호사 261명으로 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 21.0 프로그램으로 기술적 통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, 위계적 회귀분석을 시행하였다. 임상적 의사결정은 연령, 학력, 직위, 교대근무, 임상경력에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 임상적 의사결정은 비판적 사고 및 간호근무환경과 정의 상관 관계를 보였다. 임상적 의사결정에 대해 영향을 미치는 요인은 직위, 비판적 사고 중 임상적 의사결정, 간호근무환경 중 양질의 간호를 위한 기반 및 인적 물적 자원의 적절성으로 이를 통해 임상적 의사결정의 35.8%를 설명하였다. 그러므로 비판적 사고 향상과 더불어 간호의 전문성 향상을 위한 질 관리, 효과적 인적 물적 자원 관리를 위한 행정지원은 간호사의 임상적 의사결정능력을 향상시킨다.

국내 수학교육의 수학적 신념 연구에 관한 체계적 분석 (Systematic review on the research of mathematical beliefs in Korean mathematical education)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학적 신념에 관한 기존 연구 결과를 체계적으로 분석하여 가치 있는 결과들을 비교 및 종합하고 이로부터 수학적 신념에 관한 후속 연구의 시사점을 얻는 것이다. 선정된 논문 58편의 방법론적 질을 MQA(Methodological Quality Assessment) 체크리스트를 이용하여 확인한 결과, 설문지를 이용하여 수학적 신념을 조사했거나 예비교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 많았다. 연구 결과를 분석한 결과, 수학적 신념의 개념적 특징과 대상별 특징, 수학적 신념의 교육적 영향력으로 나누어 그 의미를 확인했다. 수학적 신념은 교사와 학생, 수학 수업의 실천에서 중요한 교육적 영향력을 가지고 있었다. 연구 결과는 교사가 학생의 사고에 주목하여 적절한 교육적 지원을 제공하지 못하는 문제를 해결하기 위해 학생과 교사의 신념을 변화시키는 것이 중요함을 강조하며, 학생의 수학적 사고에 초점을 둔 수업 실천을 위한 지원이 필요함을 보여준다.

Evaluation of Auditors' Professional Skills in Local Auditing Firms in Hanoi

  • In recent years, the quality of auditing human resources in domestic auditing firms in Hanoi has certain limitations in which professional skills of auditors have not been given adequate attention. The number of customers at local auditing firms is forecast to increase gradually. Therefore, the quantity and quality of auditors need to be improved to meet requirements of the workload. Data for this research were collected through surveying 120 customers of domestic auditing firms in Hanoi on the 5-point Likert scale. Based on the collected data, we employ both qualitative and quantitative methodology along with some tools such as descriptive statistics, Cronbach's Alpha, T-test and ANOVA to analysis, evaluate and measure the professional skills of auditors in local auditing firms in Hanoi. The results show that the professional skills of auditors in auditing firms include 17 attributes. The majority of respondents show appreciation for the professionalism and professional competence of auditors, while, they think that critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills are still limited and need to be improved. These findings, not only help auditors to improve themselves, but also provide solutions for managers of domestic auditing firms in Hanoi to enhance quality of audited human resources.

A Study on Quantification of Kano's Quality Model

  • This paper proposes a method for quantifying the types of quality elements proposed by Kano; namely: attractive quality, one-dimensional quality, and must-be quality. Kano's classification of required quality has helped us improve our thinking in product development. However, his classification is conceptual rather than quantitative, and the conventional techniques of questionnaire and group interview cannot provide quantification of the relationship between the degree of customer satisfaction and the degree of sufficiency of required qualities. This paper describes how a quality element under Kano's quality model can be expressed as a utility function, and describes an application to quality design of a cellular phone.

품질경영활동이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -카자흐스탄 제조기업을 대상으로- (A Study on the Effect of Quality Management Activities on Business Performance -Focused on Manufacturing Companies in Kazakhstan-)

  • 본 연구에서는 품질경영요소(QM)가 카자흐스탄 제조기업의 경영성과(재무성과, 비재무성과)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 알마티지역 287개 제조기업을 대상으로 연구모형을 이용하여 10개의 가설을 설정·검증한 결과, 8개의 개설만이 지지되었다. 최고경영진 리더십은 재무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 확인되었으며, 고객중심적 사고는 비재무적 성과에 가장 긍정적인 영향을 끼치는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 임직원 참여와 품질정보요인도 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 영향력은 타 품질요인에 비하여 상대적으로 적은 것으로 나타났다. 공급자 관리요인은 경영성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 관련된 2개의 가설도 지지되지 않았다. 이러한 분석결과는 대상기업들이 고품질의 완제품이 아닌 석유 및 원자재제조, 건설 등의 업체들로 구성된 데에 기인한 것으로 풀이된다.

  • The present waste problems require a change of thinking with regard to conventional economics. It has been generally believed that competitive markets maximize social welfare. But, the other hand, a few economists argue that "the competitive markets cannot always be relied on to provide all goods in the efficient amount." One of the best examples of the latter contention is the environmental problem. What is the basic thinking of the conventional economics that causes this problems \ulcorner What is the present problem that requires the change of conventional economic thinking \ulcorner The environmental problem result from the conventional economic thinking such as pursuing the limitless of the Gross National Product(GNP), believing the increasing returns in economics of scale and the efficiency of competitive market. This economic principles, howe- ver, does not apply currently to public goods, especially environmental amenity and natural resource because the price of markets does not reflect the natural goods of services. We call this eternality. Externalizes are no considered by either buyers or sellers of goods of which production or use results in an eternality. This leads to market failure are causes an waste problem in the economic activities. Today, it is almost impossible to say in a word what the solution for waste problems is because they are by-products complicated and entangled human activities. In this paper, I have introduced the causes of environmental problems only from the economic point of view. I have also described the needs of conversion of conventional economic thinking. Firstly, sustainable development, maintaining the natural resources, should be the basis of the economic growth rather that pursuing the limitless growth of GNP. Secondly, an appropriate scale of human's production activity should be taken into account to reduce the impact to the natural environment. Thirdly, internalization of eternality is asked to correct the market failure. This requires the public policy such as imposing a talsubsidy, assigning a property right or implement a more detailed environmental quality standard through, because use of the natural resources can be. allocated optimally by the intervention of government or social associations.

경영학 학습자의 학습개념이 학습접근과 비판적 사고에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Conceptions of Learning Management in Study Approach and Critical Thinking)

  • 본 연구는 경영학에 대한 대학생들의 학습개념을 알아보고 학습개념이 학습접근과 비판적 사고에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 편의 표집한 경영학 전공/부전공 학생들을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였다. 총 88명의 응답 분석 결과, 경영학 전공/부전공 학생들에게 학습개념의 유의미한 성차 또는 학년차는 발견되지 않았다. '시험'과 '관점 확장' 학습개념이 심층적 접근에, '시험'이 표층적 접근에 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, '관점 확장' 학습개념이 비판적 사고에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 고차원적 사고능력 향상을 목표로 수업 또는 교육과정 개선을 고민하는 교수자 또는 수업설계자들에게 좋은 지침 및 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
