Modern society is filled with the pursuit of material wealth and great convenience due to high technology that has been introduced to all facets of society. There is no exception to this in the field of construction. Modern construction, however, has caused environmental destruction and pollution, disturbing the coexistence of humans and nature. Therefore, this thesis aims to explore how humans and nature can maintain a mutually beneficial relationship by looking into the construction of Jeju's traditional dwelling house. This thesis examines the geographical features of Jeju and looks into how Jeju people have adapted themselves to nature. It is assumed that geographical features have created Jeju's unique environment and style of architecture and differentiated Jeju's traditional houses from those of other regions. Also, it is considered that geographical features had a large impact on traditional construction such as the floor plan and the layout of buildings. Accordingly, this thesis explores the way traditional houses protected house dwellers from the natural environment and examines the wisdom of our ancestors who took advantage of the natural environment. In addition, this thesis aims to contribute to creating Jeju's unique construction culture and environment by studying materials, structures, and forms that were applied to the traditional houses of Jeju.

The thesis suggests the proper ftaining methods and their future direction in order for bodyguards to have a general idea of basic skills of escort and develop them. What is meant by basic skills are the basic abilities of bodyguards for escort indluding physical strength, martial arts, and manipulation of equipment. The equipment in the thesis is confined to guns. The following are the requircments for the training of basic skills; 1, A bodyguard should be careful not to expose any equipment he uses his basic skills so that he does not make others feel uncomfortable. 2. He should be trained to give the safety of the person(s) escorted the first priority. 3. He should have the ability to take care of at least one attacker. 4. He should be trained to be able to evaluate the trend of attacks and keep up with it. Training fo basic skills are divided into three parts-physical training, martial arts and use of equipment. Each part is divided into basic training, applied training, and professional training, which again are integrated in one master training program. Especially, development of equipment which helps to take care of attacker(s) quickly without casualties and learning to use the equipment efficiently will accelerate the improvement of basic skills. The author of the thesis worked for Presidential Security Service for fourteen years and suggests the most efficient, protection-oriented way of training based on his experience.

The ultimate objective of research thesis is to introduce the 'Separate Contracting' system of fire facility construction, develop fire industries and stabilize citizen lives. And, this thesis is designed to analyze the ongoing situations of the 'Separate Contracting' system in national and international public constructions, and initiate the methods of introducing the 'Separate Contracting system' in fire facility constructions proper for Korean situations. In this regard, the research thesis studied of the property of the introduction of the 'Separate Contracting' system of fire facility constructions, through the comparative analysis on the existing 'Contract Bundling' system. And, the thesis established strategies to legalize this system and considered the revisions on the laws and items pursuant to fire facility constructions.

In this thesis, it is a purpose to carry out speed control of DC servo motor without using encoder and the resolver which are speed sensor of DC servo motor and it should use estimate algorithm or observer and must assume a speed in order to control speed sensorless. Therefore, high gain observer was designed to estimate rotor speed of DC servo motor and it carries out speed control from the feedback of the speed that assumed done in the thesis. Also, implementation used easy PI controller in speed-controller of DC motor though it was simple. It is compared estimate performance of Luenberger and high gain observer in a way of computer simulation in order to verify performance of the high gain observer which proposed in this thesis, and proved excellency of the high gain observer. And the thesis proved that smooth speed sensorless control of DC servo motor was implemented in invariable driving.

As the 4th Industrial Revolution emerged as a key to improving national competitiveness, OCR technology, one of the major technologies in the 4th industry is in the spotlight. Since characters in various images contain a lot of information, OCR technology for recognizing these characters has evolved into technology used in many industries. In this paper, trends in OCR technology were identified and predicted using thesis data published in 'RISS' and patent data by International patent classification (IPC) under the theme of Optical character recognition (OCR). For patent data 20,000 patents related to OCR technology from 2002 to 2020 were used as data, and 432 papers from 2012 to 2022 were used as data. Through time-series analysis, each patent data and thesis data were investigated since when OCR technology has developed, and various keyword analysis predicted which technology will be used in the future. Finally, the direction of future OCR technology development was presented through network association analysis with patent data and thesis data.

This research thesis is designed to put Korean traditional and unique wedding dress with a greater significance and value than any other dress into application right for the global and contemporary trend, as part of a bid to show Korean traditional beauty. To do it, this thesis has attempted to add the traditional beauty to Korean inherent wedding dress and contemporary wedding dress, with the use of various traditional beauty elements, such as the line firm, materials and color based on the research on wedding dress, such as, 'Wonsam' or 'Unlined Jacket, and 'Long-sleeve Red Silk Jacket', and 'Dangeu' or 'Court Suit' that women wore in the Joseon Dynasty. To recreate Korean traditional beauty of line this research thesis has firstly put into the application the sleeve of 'Wonsam' or 'Unlined Jacket' and the form of a large section of 'Wonsam' of 'Unlined Jacket', and 'Doreyon Line' or 'Trimming Line' of 'Dangeu' or 'Court Suit' as wedding dress that women wore in the Joseon Dynasty. Secondly, this thesis has applied lotus and peony patterns out of traditional ones inlaid with 'Long-Sleeve Silk Jacket' into the contemporary wedding dress to develop a creative and special design. Thirdly, regarding the expressive pattern technique, this thesis has designed the repetitive rhythmical pattern with the use of beading technique and embroidery technique, which makes needle work picture and pattern in fabric. Lastly, it can demonstrate the original and distinct Korean style in application of western wedding dress into traditional and contemporary dress, by devising two collections of dress art pieces.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of research system and contents of thesis which was published with a theme of child tea ceremony education. Under this purpose we have searched the thesis related to the child tea ceremony education which was in the data base of the National Assembly Library, the National Library of Korea, Korea Education & Research Information Service and we have collected total of 22 analyzing subject data. The major results of this study are as followings: First, after analyzing the research system, the release year of child tea ceremony education study which was published from year 2000 to 2009 are shown as followings, 1 unit in year 2000, 2 units in year 2001, 2002 & 2003, 4 units in year 2004, 5 units in year 2005, 2 units in year 2006, 1 unit in year 2007, 2 units in year 2008, 1 unit in year 2009. The publishing type were 14 units of master's degree thesis, 6 units of academic journal, 2 units of doctor's degree thesis. The academic area of researchers are 8 units of propriety and tea culture, 5 units of early childhood education, 5 units of child welfare, 2 units of family culture and consumer, 1 each unit of counseling psychology and korean culture. As per the research method there were 15 units of experimental study, 6 units of reference research, and 1 unit of thesis which adopts both interview and case study. Second, as a result of analyzing the research contents, the goal of child tea ceremony education was shown to be a holistic child growth and development, a formation of basic living habit, a development of pride on traditional culture and an establishment of national identity. The contents of child tea ceremony education has been classified into 57 items. The activity of child tea ceremony education has been classified into 34 items. The vitalizations of child tea ceremony education is shown to be a education for parents and teachers, a development of systematic educational program, durability of child tea ceremony education, and a verification of effectiveness of child tea ceremony education.

For the better success in the society, it is important to collect opinions from members. The progress was slow before because it was hard to collect the opinions from each member. But since we have opened the web site it gets easier to evolve with the society for microsurgery, and expect to have active participations from the members. We make 20 questions in three different groups. The researches are made on participation, development in science council that starting from 2005 October to 2007 June, education on training with member's preference to thesis and individuality and suggestion. Thus we have results following to that research. 1.75% of the members vote for the lecture has to be substantial, and also want the atmosphere of the council to be more sincere. 46.2% of members want the council to be not only exchange information but also the place to experience the social intercourse. 2. When the thesis is present and submitted that will also connect to main society. It will be counted as equal as board thesis, only if the thesis can count in both plastic & reconstructive surgery and orthopedic surgery. Then it will be scored as same as examination of board, and will be a receipt of paper by home page 3. The information-oriented project on our council is slower than what members expected. 100% of members voted yes to online thesis examination, and 66.7% of members voted for preference of web site. We need to make improvements on our web pages as soon as possible such as online payment with credit card. 4. According to the result of questionnaire, our web site helps member's participation in council and eventually become a bridge between members. We hope the questionnaires would help us to develop the council and eventually would help us to society with each other in the council. We also hope this council would be the one that connect all of us in society.

This thesis studied the factor of participation motives and the degree of satisfaction of the participants in culinary skill competitions and their effectiveness. In addition, this thesis has an aim to offer profitable materials on the basis of demonstrative analysis emphasizing the study on how many factors of satisfaction should be motivated by participation effect. This thesis restricted cookers within those who had participated in a cooking contest so that it could possibly measure the motive of participation and satisfaction. This thesis investigated 115 cookers by questionnaires, of which 102 available materials were used for statistical processing to perform this study. As for the periodical interval, this thesis was performed from Feb 14, 2005 to Feb 21, 2005. First, from the motive of participation, 13 variables are analyzed into 3 factors such as the factor of social recognition, the factor of speciality, and the factor of self-development & self- realization. The factor of speciality, and the factor of self-development & self-realization. The factor as a motive of participating in skill competition affects effectiveness meaningfully. Second, total three factors were extracted from the degree of satisfaction which consisted of 13 variables. They included the psychological satisfaction and satisfaction with the judges in competitions. One limitation of this study is that the population of the survey was limited to those who had participated in a contest. Thus, the findings of this study may not be generalizable for other cases. It is clear that further research is needed to collect more in-dept data from other similar competitions as a effort to extend its application to other studies.

It is not easy to get more attention as a prominent advertising expression among various types of numerous advertisements. Due to the voluminous expansion of advertising communications and the change of the media, new advertising creatives must be needed for serving to differentiate the message , inviting audiences to participate more positively in advertising communications This thesis aims at reviewing the absence as an advertising creative. And this thesis is about the significations of the absence. Chapter I describes the aim of this thesis about the absence as an advertising creative And Chapter II introduces the general concept, perception of the absence and its possibilities as an advertising creative And also mentions about the absence as one of paradoxical expressions with rhetorical theories as well as semiotics. Chapter III deals with the signification of the absence with introducing semiotic methods such as the theory of R. Barthes Chapter IV discusses the signification of the absence as an advertising creative talking into consideration of semiotic theories. And I categorize the types of the absence in advertising expressions. The absence is categorized into 5 types in this thesis. Type (1) is the absence of product which is supposed to be advertised, type (2) is the absence of product and make product image located out of main image of an advertising expression for introducing features of a product itself. And type (3) is the absence of the imaginary audience to invite an audience to participate more spontaneously. Type (4) is the absence of headlines, and type (5) is the absence of almost all visual images and verbal message but a corporate symbol or brand logo. The signification of S types of the absence can be described on the basic of semiotic theories, especially the theory of R. Barthes. It's my hope that this thesis about the absence as an advertising creative will serve as the basic theory for the empirical research about advertising expressions containing images of the absence.
