300 MW급 IGCC 플랜트의 열 설계 연구 (A Study on the Thermal Designs of 300 MW-Class IGCC Plant)

  • 석탄가스화 복합발전(IGCC)은 석탄을 가스화하고 가스화된 연료를 사용하여 전기를 생산하는 기술로 기존의 석탄 전환 기술에 비해 전환율이 높고 환경 영향이 적은 것으로 알려져 있다 특히 우리나라와 같이 전력 생산 분야에서 석탄 화력의 비중이 높은(2001년 6월 기준, 29.6%, 한전통계자료)나라에서 급격히 강화되는 석탄 화력 발전 방식에 대한 오염물 배출량 제한에 대처하기 위해 기존 석탄 화력의 대안으로 석탄가스화 복합발전이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내 도입이 임박한 IGCC상용설비를 대상으로 한 시스템 설계 연구를 수행하였다. 분류층 가스화 공정을 채용한 2가지 종류의 IGCC시스템으로, 고효율 IGCC와 저비용 IGCC에 대해 시스템 연계 최적화를 고려하여 시스템을 설정하였다. 각 시스템에 대해 AspenPlus등을 사용한 시스템 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하고 성능 계산을 수행하였으며 특히 저비용 IGCC 시스템에 대해서는 시스템 옵션 스터디와 공기 추출율에 따른 민감도 분석을 수행하였다. 열성능 계산 결과 고효율 IGCC 시스템의 효율이 42.6%(HHV, Net)으로, 저비용 IGCC 시스템에 75% 공기 추출율을 적용한 경우 40%(HHV, Net)으로 나타났다.

해남지역(海南地域)에 분포(分布)된 우항리층내(牛項里層內) 흑색(黑色)셰일의 유기지화학적(有機地化學的) 연구(硏究) (Geochemical Study of Black Shale in Uhangri Formation, Haenam Area)

  • The studied area occupies the southern part of Haenam peninsula located in the southwestern corner of Korea. The stratigraphic sequences of the area are grouped into following three units in ascending order. (1) Late Cretaceous sedimentary rocks of Uhangri Formation which consist of the alternative beds of black shales and tuffaceous sediments, Hwangsan acidic fine grained tuffs and Jindo rhyolite flows. (2) Late Cretaceous biotite granite and acidic porphyries which intruded the Late Cretaceous sedimentary rocks. (3) Tertiary(?) pitchstone. The study purposes to delineate any of geochemical aspects on the deposition of the sequences, the average amounts of organic materials and the effect to the maturation of hydrocarbonization which has been occured by the intrusives. Sixty nine black shale samples were collected from Uhangri Formation in the northern and southern coasts of the peninsula. Organic carbons, total extracted organic matters and hydrocarbons were mainly determined by the Soxhlet extraction method, together with C-H-N elemental analyses. Based on the field and laboratory studies, the following interpretations have been obtained. (1) The paleohydrostatic condition of the sedimentation which took place was relatively calm and stable to delineate a lacustrine environment. (2) The amounts of organic material were more or less constant throughout the period of the deposition of the sediments. (3) The degree of hydrocarbonization of the Uhangri Formation in the northern coast was taken place higher than that in the southern coast due to the differences of thermal effect by the biotite granite which is assumed to be as a heat source in the area. Among the northern coast, some black shales in Uhangri and Mogsam areas which had been under the most moderate temperature environment snow symptomatic oily material, whereas, those in Sinseongri area do not, which were presumably to be intensive thermal alteration by the later acidic porphyries.

제주지역 지하공기를 이용한 농업시설용 히트펌프시스템의 난방 성능 분석 - 제주지역을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of heating performance of heat pump system for agricultural facility using underground air in Jeju area - Focused on the Jeju Area -)

  • Purpose: The underground air is the warm air discharged from the porous volcano bedrock 30-50m underground in Jeju, including excessive humidity. The temperature of the underground air is $15-20^{\circ}C$ throughout the year. In Jeju, the underground air was used for heating greenhouses by supplying into greenhouses directly. This heating method by supplying the underground air into greenhouses directly had several problems. The study was conducted to develop the heat pump system using underground air as heat source for resolving excessive humidity problem of the underground air, adopting the underground air as a farm supporting project by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs(MAFRA) and saving heating cost for agricultural facilities. Method: 35kW scale(10 RT) heat pump system using underground air installed in a greenhouse of area $330m^2$ in Jeju-Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Research & Extension Services, Seogwipo-si, Jeju. The inlet and outlet water temperature of the condenser, the evaporator and the thermal storage tank and the underground air temperature and the air temperature in the greenhouse were measured by T type thermocouples. The data were collected and saved in a data logger(MV200, Yokogawa, Japan). Flow rates of water flowing in the condenser, the evaporator and the thermal storage tank were measured by an ultrasonic flow meter(PT868, Panametrics, Norway). The total electric power that consumed by the system was measured by a wattmeter(CW240, Yokogawa, Japan). Heating COP, rejection heat of condenser, extraction heat of evaporator and heating cost were analyzed. Result: The underground air in Jeju was adopted as a farm supporting project by Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs(MAFRA) in 2010. From 2011, the heat pump systems using underground air as a heat source were installed in 12 farms(16.3ha) in Jeju.

추출조건과 첨가물에 따른 검정콩의 안토시아닌 함량과 색소 안정성 (Anthocyanin-Contents and Pigment Stability of Black Soybean by Different Extract Condition and Stabilizer)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the anthocyanin contents of black soybean crude extracts derived using a countercurrent system and to compare the effects of stabilizers(${\beta}-cyclodextrin$, maltodextrin) and sugars(sucrose, maltose) on the color deterioration of the anthocyanin. When the extraction process was kept at 100$^{\circ}C$ for 120$\sim$180 min, only C3G (cyanidin-3-glucoside) was detected in the water extract. The C3G contents in the water extracts acquired at 8$^{\circ}C$, 60$^{\circ}C$, and 80$^{\circ}C$ were 2.38 ppm, 1.73 ppm, and 1.73 ppm, respectively. Sucrose and maltose retarded color deterioration of the crude pigment extract by the countercurrent method with methanol. Finally, the additions of maltodextrin or ${\beta}-cyclodextrin$ did not retard thermal color deterioration of the black soybean crude pigment extract.

Evaluation of Antioxidant Activities of Ethanol Extracted Garlic and Onion as Affected by Pre-heating for the Application of Meat Products

  • The objective of this study was to evaluate the pre-heating treatment effects on the antioxidant properties of ethanolic garlic and onion extracts. Garlic and onion with or without heating ($100^{\circ}C$, 30 min) were extracted with ethanol, and the total phenolic content, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging ability, iron chelating ability, reducing power, and antioxidant activity in a linoleic acid emulsion system were evaluated. Garlic (41%) had a higher drying yield than onion (11%). Regardless of pre-heating, ethanol extracts of onion resulted in an approximately 25-fold higher yield than those of garlic. Thermal treatment before extraction decreased the levels of ethanol-soluble phenolics for both garlic and onion. Regardless of pre-heating, the radical scavenging abilities of ethanol extracts from garlic were greater than the ethanol extracts from onion. The iron chelating abilities of ethanol extracts from fresh and heated garlic were 85 and 81% at 10 mg/mL, respectively, whereas those of onion extracts were 10 and 9% at the same concentration, respectively. However, no differences in reducing power between garlic and onion extracts were observed. Both garlic and onion inhibited the formation of hydroperoxide in linoleic acid emulsion systems when ethanol was used as a solvent. Overall, garlic extracts had greater antioxidant activity than onion extracts, and the antioxidant activity of garlic and onion extracts were not significantly affected by thermal treatment.

원심분무에 의한 Uranlum filicide 분산핵연료의 제조와 특성 (Preparation and Characterization of Uranium Silicide Dispersion Nuclear Fuel by Centrifugal Atomization)

  • Two kinds of $U_3Si$ powders and $U_3Si$ dispersed nuclear fuel meats have been prepared by conventional comminution process and a newly developed rotating disk atomization process. In contrast to angular shape and broad size distribution of the conventionally processed powder, the atomized powder was spherical and showed narrow size distribution. For the atomized powder, the heat treatment time for the formation of $U_3Si$ by a peritectoid reaction was reduced to about one tenth, thanks to microstructure refinement by rapid cooling of about 5$\times$104 K/s. The extruding pressure of atomized $U_3Si$ powder and Al powder mixture was lower than that of comminuted $U_3Si$ and Al powder mixture. The elongation of the atomization processed fuel meats was much higher than that of the comminution processed fuel meats and remained over 10% up to 80wt.% of $U_3Si$ powder fraction in the fuel meats. It appears therefore that the loading density of $U_3Si$ in fuel meat can be increased by using atomized $U_3Si$ powder. The atomized spherical particles were randomly distributed, while the comminuted particles with angular and longish shape were considerably aligned along the extrusion direction. Along the transverse direction of the extraction the electrical conductivity of the atomization processed fuel meats was appreciably higher than that of comminution processed fuel meats. This tendency became pronounced as $U_3Si$ content increased. Because the thermal conduction which is believed to be proportioned to the electrical conduction in the nuclear fuel meats occurs in radial direction, the atomization processed fuel can be better used in research reactors where high thermal conductivity is required.

SURF와 지역적 위상 상관도를 활용한 광학 및 열적외선 영상 간 정합쌍 추출 (Matching Points Extraction Between Optical and TIR Images by Using SURF and Local Phase Correlation)

  • 위성센서 기술이 발전함에 따라서 가시광선, 적외선, 열적외선 영역 등의 파장대를 탐지하는 다양한 센서들이 발사되고 있다. 이에 따라, 다중센서 영상의 융합 및 통합에 대한 연구들이 진행되고 있으며, 이를 위해서는 다중센서의 정합이 필수적이다. 위성영상의 정합 및 자동기하보정을 위하여 SIFT, SURF와 같은 알고리즘이 제안되었다. 그러나, 광학영상과 열적외선 상의 경우 다른 분광특성을 가지고 있기 때문에, 기존의 영상정합기법을 적용할 경우에는 높은 정확도를 확보하기 어려운 문제를 지닌다. 본 연구에서는 SURF를 이용하여 참조영상의 특징점을 추출하였으며, 추출된 특징점의 위치를 기반으로 지역적 상관도를 추정하여 정합쌍을 추출하고자 하였다. 지역적 상관도의 경우에는 퓨리에 변환을 기반으로 하는 위상 상관도 기법을 적용하였다. 가상의 고해상도 다중센서 영상과 Landsat-8, ASTER 영상을 이용한 실험결과, 기존의 SURF를 활용한 정합기법과 비교하여 본 연구에서 제안한 방법이 두 영상 간 정합쌍을 더욱 효과적으로 추출할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

마이크로웨이브 가열에 의한 석유 코크스의 탈황에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Desulfurization of Petroleum Cokes by Microwave Heating)

  • Petcokes는 원유의 정제 과정에서 최종적으로 생산되는 부산물로 정제과정 중에 petcokes내에 무기물 및 황성분의 농축이 이루어진다. Petcokes는 각각의 분야에서 요구하는 품위에 적합해야 활용이 가능하다. 현재 국내에서 생산되는 petcokes는 황함량이 평균 6% 정도로 높아서 그대로 사용하기가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 마이크로웨이브 가열을 이용하여 petcokes로부터 황을 제거하는 연구를 수행하였다. 지금까지 연구된 탈황방법에는 열 탈황, 수첨 탈황, 용매 추출에 의한 탈황, 그리고 알칼리 금속을 이용한 탈황 등이 있다. 본 연구에서는 새로운 방법인 마이크로웨이브 가열을 이용하여 petcokes로부터 탈황을 하고자 하였다. 실험은 마이크로웨이브만으로 가열하여 탈황하는 방법과 탈황율을 높이기 위해서 수소가스를 첨가하는 탈황을 수행하였다. 마이크로웨이브만으로 가열한 경우 1835W에서 2시간을 실험한 결과 68.3%의 탈황율을 보였다. 마이크로웨이브로 가열하며 수소를 첨가한 경우 1835W에서 1.5시간을 실험한 결과 86.4%의 탈황율을 얻을 수 있었다. 탈황 시간을 늘리거나 사용한 시료의 입자 크기가 줄여 준다면 더욱 높은 탈황율을 얻을 것으로 생각된다.

Gas chromatography-Thermal Energy Analyzer에 의한 휘발성 니트로소아민과 담배 특유의 니트로소아민들의 동시 분석연구 (Studies on the Simultaneous Determination of VNA and TSNA by GC - TEA)

  • This is to investigate the methodology for the simultaneous determination of Wk, mk and TSNA using gas chromatography(GC) in combination with chemiluminescence detector, thermal energy analyzer(TEA) . The simultaneous analysis has been estimated by evaluating tobacco. The TEA was linked to GC equipped with non -polar SPB -5 fused silica capillary column which was introduced into the ceramic pyrolysis tube by the point of 16cm from the end of TEA. Quantification was carried out by internal standardization with WDPA after calibration of retention times and response factors with authentic nitrosoamines. It was demonstrated that WDPA was most preferable as internal standard for the simultaneous analysis. The recoveries of the internal standard were in the range of 83∼96% . Nitrosoamines in this method were detected with determination limit of 0.1ng and was made by a straight line in calibration curve by TEA response. The suitability of nitrosoamines extraction in tobacco leaf was investigated. It was most suitable to extract nitrosoamines from tobacco leaves with 0.01 M NaOH within a period of 8 hours. Thimerosal as an antibacterial agent was added to NaOH solution to prevent artifactual formation. The fractionation and the purification of nitrosoamines form alkaline extracts were conveniently performed using Extrelut multilayer column and dichloromethane. Reproducible and reliable results were obtained for the determination of nitrosamines in a relatively short time compared to previous known method. TSNA contents in burley were about 4 times higher as those in the fluecured tobacco.

등전환법과 등온 DSC를 이용한 고에너지 물질의 정밀 반응모델 개발 (An Extraction of Detailed Isoconversional Kinetic Scheme of Energetic Materials using Isothermal DSC)

  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC) 실험 데이터를 이용하여 고에너지 물질의 반응속도식을 추출해내는 이론적 방법을 제안하고 알루미늄 고함유 화약(RDX/HTPB/Al)에 대한 반응속도식 추출을 수행하였다. DSC 실험 결과는 Friedman 등전환법으로 분석되었다. 질량분율에 따른 활성화에너지와 빈도인자를 추출해 내어 반응속도식을 완성하였다. 추출된 반응속도식은 고에너지 물질의 화학반응과정을 몇 단계의 주요단계로 가정하는 형태가 아닌 전체 화학반응 과정을 나타내는 형태를 갖는다. 이는 기존의 ODTX 실험을 통해 추출되는 화학반응속도식 형태에 비해 이론적 측면과 정확성 측면에서 상당한 장점을 갖는다. 추출된 반응속도식의 검증을 위해 화학반응률 그리고 생성물 질량분율에 대해 DSC 실험과 동일한 조건하에서 전산모사를 수행하였으며 실험값과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. 또한 완속가열 전산모사를 수행하였으며 실험결과와 비교하여 DSC 반응속도식의 전산모사에의 적용가능성을 확인하였다.
