Purpose: This article explores the experiences of Research Universities (RU) on distribution-support technologies in commercialisation with a specific focus in the Malaysian context. Research design, data and methodology: A qualitative research was carried out, in which six RU were interviewed. A structured interview was conducted. To analyse and interpret the data was using an approach adopted in qualitative thematic strategy. The findings were transcribed using Atlas.ti software to analyse related themes through a thematic analysis approach to link theories. Results: The findings provide useful insights into the significant roles of distribution-support technologies on the commercialisation strategy and impacts on the ecosystem of innovation and commercialisation in providing the importance of Distribution-support Technologies to strengthen the role of university-industry-community relation to drive the economy towards a high-income nation. Conclusions: This study will contribute theory through commercialisation literature by adding new knowledge concerning the link between universities and distribution-support technologies in commercialisation. Therefore, the practical contributions are significant for universities; industries; research institutes; government and societies to develop and plan strategically for effective, strategic and sustainable distribution-support technologies in innovation and commercialisation ecosystem.

This study was conducted to describe the image of nurses in the context of COVID-19 pandemic by reviewing newspaper articles (n=451) from 11 major domestic daily newspapers. Analysis of monthly prevalence, favorability towards nurses, proportion of nurse coverage, and thematic analysis was conducted. Five themes and 9 sub-themes were derived from thematic analysis, and major themes are as follows: "Poor work environment"; "Nursing, 'The job of calling'"; "Prominent as a medical profession"; "Strict standards"; and "Expanding the realm of nursing" in order of frequency. In conclusion, media is still reporting a limited role of nurses. Therefore, in order to widen public perspective towards nurses, further academic activities that highlight various roles and positive aspects of nursing profession are needed.

There have been several research efforts to support interoperability among multiple databases. In integrating multiple databases, we must resolve schema conflicts due to the heterogeneity in databases. To resolve these conflicts, not only meta-data for database schemas but also general knowledge expressing the real world meanings associated with the database schemas are required. This paper presents a uniform representation method for relational schema and general knowledge base that is composed, among other things, of concept hierarchy and thematic roles in relationship, using the knowledge representation language Lk. This representation method has a flexible descriptive power which facilitates concepts to be expressed at different levels of granularity and can describe knowledge expressed in Lk are used for input of the next step, such as conflict resolution and query processing of multiple database.

Examining ways to interact with students in small groups is an important topic for researchers to understand. Existing studies pertaining to the topic have not shed light on knowing why teachers interact with students in small groups the way they do. Given that teacher identity shapes teaching practices, this study explores how teacher identity shapes teachers' interaction with students in small groups. Working with two beginning teachers, I conducted four interviews to collect the data related to reasons behind their interactions with students in small groups in the interview. I analyzed the interview transcripts using a thematic analysis. I found that one teacher's teacher identity was related to her personal experiences as a child and a learner and another teacher's teacher identity was related to her view of teachers' roles as a teacher. I provide discussion and implications of this study.

The purpose of this study is to prepare primary data for providing smooth and systematic rehabilitation sports services by confirming the opinions of instructors experienced in the field of disability sports before the implementation of Article 15 'Rehabilitation sports' of the 'Act on Guarantee of Right to Health and Access to Health Services for Persons with Disabilities. In-depth interviews were conducted as a research method, and qualitative analysis was conducted on the contents of the interview. The in-depth interview is unstructured, allowing disability sports instructor to freely present their opinions on difficulties experienced while operating the program, necessary matters for rehabilitation sports implementation. We transcribed the recording data of the in-depth interview and coded the opinions through the thematic analysis method among qualitative research methods. As a result, the final 104 opinions were used and classified into 9 categories; rehabilitation sports goal, training rehabilitation sports instructor, evaluation items and educational guidelines, relationships with program participants, facilities utilization, effects, the timing of provision, and doctor roles.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to examine the roles and practices of occupational therapists in public health centers based on their working experience of occupational therapists who are working in these facilities. Methods : We used Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological research method. Six occupational therapists were interviewed, and their recorded data were analyzed using Claizzi's thematic analysis. Results : As a result, 4 categories, 16 themes, and 24 elements were elicited. The major roles of occupational therapists in public health centers were the evaluation of clients, home-visit occupational therapy, management of dementia programs and community connection projects. Interventions that are needed to create a healthy community include case and program management, compensatory approaches, and healthy lifestyle interventions. The difficulties experienced by occupational therapists include their limited number job insecurity, performance-oriented administrative policy, and the lack of communication among professionals. Occupational therapists require education in health management and practice in public health centers to build their capacities. Conclusion : The results of this study could be used for guidelines for occupational therapists who work in community healthcare centers, as well as basic training for competent occupational therapists in the community.

The purpose of this study was to understand the practice experience of social workers in foster care center. This study applied a qualitative study and selected 7 social workers(4 middle-level managers and 3 in-line workers) who have worked for central and regional fostercare centers. We carried out individual interviews with them and conducted thematic analysisbased on data gathered from the individual interviews. We were able to grasp significantissues in foster care practices from analyses. The results of data analysis consisted of 4 themesand 15 sub-themes. The significant themes were 'policy objectives distanced from reality, unknown institution', 'loose network, missed service system', 'too much work, too many cases', 'excluded biological parents' roles, limited foster parents' roles'. Finally, the implications of thisstudy findings for child welfare policy and practice guidelines were discussed to improvefoster care centers.

The aim of this qualitative study was to explore and understand the roles, efforts, difficulties and challenges parents have in the process of raising teenage children and supporting their career development in the underprivileged families. The research was conducted through focus group interviews with low-income parents, with support from 11 local community welfare centers nationwide, and then thematic analysis was done with collected data. And we could draw on findings on the difficulties those parents are dealing with while assisting career plans of their children, the endeavors they make when doing so, the helpful support from the society, and things to be done in the future. With the results, we provide final recommendations on family-centered action plans and the roles of community welfare center that can effectively assist career development of teenage kids in the process of child upbringing of the underprivileged families.

This study is an explorer study to investigate the experience of long term care hospital workers on the sexual behaviors of the elderly. The data were collected from August to October in 2019. The depth interview was implemented with using the semi structured questionnaires. The interview data collected from the participants were analyzed with using qualitative thematic analysis methods. The experience of long term care hospital workers regarding the elderly's sexual behaviors consisted of ten sub-categorized themes from the significant statements and was categorized into following four themes; 'Negative feelings related with elderlys' sexual behaviors', 'Difficulty of maintaining caring roles', 'Recognizing the absence of care for elderlys' sexual behavior', 'Accepting the therapeutic roles for elderlys' sexual behavior'. The findings could be the basic data for developing educational programs that help the long term care hospital workers understand the sexual behavior of the elderly.

Researchers have rarely explored menopausal experience in the context of the totality of women's lives, subsequently making the picture of menopause incomplete, discrete and fragmented. Respecting the totality of women's lives, this study addressed how a vulnerable group of women-low income Korean immigrant women-experience menopause within a context of multiple transitions. This is a cross-sectional study using methodological triangulation. A sample of 119 first-generation Korean immigrant women aged 40 to 60 years, who were in low-income jobs, was recruited using convenience sampling methods. From the total sample, 21 peri-or post-menopausal women were recruited for in-depth interviews following the collection of the survey data. Questionnaires, short interviews, and in- depth interviews were used to collect data. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Thematic analysis was used to interpret interview data. The findings indicate that menopause was given the lowest priority amidst women's multiple and demanding roles within a gendered multiple transitional (immigration, work and menopause) context. The lack of language clarity to describe women's experience, cultural background, inadequate knowledge, and lack of social supports made menopause hidden, invisible, and inaudible. Conclusions and implications for nursing practice are guided by the goal of understanding women's experiences and meanings of menopause and supporting women through reflecting these experiences into their health care.
