There are various information resources on the Internet and people are taking more interest in XML day by day. In XML, the structure of information can be freely defined so that the standardization of documents can be hardly made. If DTD, which is applied to an XML Document representing specific information, is including concept information, it can be freely applied to the structure of document and also contributes to the convenience in information retrieval. In this study, we developed universal DTD Generator in order to automatically generate DTD including concept information. For the generation of universal DTD, the conceptualization of information is required; to conceptualize information, the hierarchical structuring and propertizing are required. The hierarchical structuring represents the inclusive relation of routine concepts for representing information in hierarchical structure, and the propertizing represents the property and mutual relation that the each concept represented in hierarchical structure can have. The defined hierarchical structure and propertization come to generate the universal DTD Generator. The universal DTD generated by DTD Generator can be applied to all the XML Documents representing the same information in different structure. However, the most ideal way is that the information of universal DTD, which can be applied to various documents, is including all the cases. Therefore, the study for designing correct concept information is necessary.

In this study, to discuss on the applicability of eDNA as a new method to investigate fish diversity at streams, we applied eDNA at 4 streams (Geum River, Ji Stream, Hwangji Stream, Seomjin River), where endangered species are inhabits, with conventional survey (cast net and kick net). The average (±standard deviation) number of species investigated by eDNA were 19 species (±4.4), and it was relatively higher than average of conventional survey, 10 species (±4.8). Most of case, in this study, eDNA was more efficient than conventional survey. However, there were errors on species identification of Korean endemic species and aliied species from eDNA, and it seems the universal primer (MiFish primer set) is not suitable for them. Furthermore, some of endangered species, caught by conventional method, was not detected by eDNA. As the present universal primer is not suitable for identify the every freshwater fish species in Korea, the complementing or development of universal primer is needed, and the eDNA application after species specific marker development for detecting specific species like endangered species should be considered. In conclusion, if the manual for field survey method by eDNA is developed, we expect applicability enlargement for water ecosystem survey.
This study investigated perceived discomforts and those reasons of the young and middle-aged, the aged, the disabled and the pregnant in various daily activities, and elicited universal design factors based on human capacities (physical, sensory, cognitive and affective). A total of eighty people (twenty subjects for each user group) participated in one-to-one interviews about thirty six items of daily activities. A degree of discomfort of the daily activities was measured using Borg's CR10 scale. As a result, the disabled and the pregnant complained about almost all of the daily activities, and their degrees of discomforts were significantly higher than those of the youth and middle-aged and the aged. However, the youth and middle-aged and the aged only complained about some specific items. The major reasons of discomforts were related to physical and affective capabilities in general, where the detailed reasons of each user group were comparatively different. Finally, the universal design factors were elicited for each daily activity item based on the results of each user group. This study can be used to understand the discomforts and characteristics of the aged, the disabled and the pregnant in the various daily activities. The universal design factors elicited can also be applied to design related products and facilities universally.

Broad-range and specific 16S rRNA gene PCR is used for detection and identification of bacterial pathogens in clinical specimens from patients with a high suspicion for infection. We describe the development of a broad-range and specific PCR primer, based on bacterial 16S rRNA, for use in routine diagnostic clinical microbiology services. The primers were designed by using conservative regions of 16S rRNA sequences from 10 strains. Ninety-eight clinical strains were isolated from clinical patient specimens. A total of 98 strains of bacteria were identified by phenotypic methods; PCR with newly designed primers and universal primers. All purified PCR products were sequenced using both forward and reverse primers on an automated DNA analyzer. In this study, we evaluated the usefulness of the newly designed primers and the universal primers for the detection of bacteria, and both these techniques were compared with phenotypic methods for bacteria detection. When we also tested 98 strains of clinical isolates with newly designed primers, about 778 bp DNA fragments were amplified and identified from all strains. Of the 98 strains, 94 strains (95.9%) correspond in comparison with phenotypic methods. The newly designed primers showed that the identities of 98 (100%) strains were the same as those obtained by universal PCR primers. The overall agreement between the newly designed primers and universal primers was 100%. The primer set was designed for rapid, accurate, and cheap identification of bacterial pathogens. We think the newly designed primer set is useful for the identification of pathogenic bacteria.

Lockheed Martin has integrated and installed numerous AIS systems around the world as part of several VTS installation contracts and technology demonstrations for customers. Each of these systems incorporates specific customer requirements addressing differing objectives. This paper describes the capabilities and features of Lockheed Martin's current implementation of the Universal AIS system, and the experiences Lockheed Martin has had with earlier AIS and ADS (automated dependent surveillance) system installations. Specific examples are provided for an amphibious landing exercise with the US Army; installations at a Middle-East Oil port; technology demonstrations in New York Harbor, USA; river systems in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; and coastal applications in the Gulf of Suez. The paper closes a brief overview of the most recent activity, the Turkish Straits VTMIS project that requires Universal AIS installations. The evolution of the technology and lessons learned will be discussed in the context of these examples. The perspective will be on Lockheed Martin's experience working with different customers to integrate AIS technology into a larger VTS or Port Information System. It will also discuss, from the practical side, how AIS information is used by a variety of maritime organizations with differing needs and information objectives.

In this paper, we propose a multi-task model that can simultaneously predict general-purpose tasks such as part-of-speech tagging, lemmatization, and dependency parsing using the UD Korean Kaist v2.3 corpus. The proposed model thus applies the self-attention technique of the BERT model and the graph-based Biaffine attention technique by fine-tuning the multilingual BERT and the two Korean-specific BERTs such as KR-BERT and KoBERT. The performances of the proposed model are compared and analyzed using the multilingual version of BERT and the two Korean-specific BERT language models.

In order to diagnose and differentiate jujube witches' broom (JWB) phytoplasma rapidly, oligonucleotide primer pair, 16Sr(V) F/R, for polymerase chain reactions (PCRs) was designed on the basis of 165 rRNA sequences of JWB phytoplasma. The PCR employing phytoplasma universal primer pair P1/P7 consistently amplified DNA in all tested phytoplasma isolates. But no phytoplasma DNA was detected in healthy jujube seedlings. The nested PCR, the primer pair 16S(V) F/R, about 460 bp fragment, amplified DNA in all tested JWB and related phytoplasmas including LiWB phytoplasma of the 165 rRNA group V, but no DNA amplification was detected from other phytoplasma strains such as group 16SrI (Aster yellows) and group 16SrⅩII (Stolbur group) phytoplasmas in which mulberry dwarf phytoplasma and chrysanthemum witches broom phytoplasma are belonged to, respectively The same results were obtained from both Korean- and Chinese-isolates of JWB. Nested-PCR using phytoplasma universal primer pair P1/P7 and 16S rRNA group V specific primer pair 16S(V) F/R could detect group V phytoplasma rapidly and easily, in particular JWB phytoplasma.
In [9], Lee and Sakuma constructed 2-generator non-Hopfian groups each of which has a specific presentation ${\langle}a,b{\mid}R{\rangle}$ satisfying small cancellation conditions C(4) and T(4). In this paper, we prove the SQ-universality of those non-Hopfian groups.
In order to diagnose and differentiate jujube witches' broom (JWB) phytoplasma rapidly, oligonucleotide primer pair, 16Sr(V) F/R, for polymerase chain reactions (PCRs) was designed on the basis of 16S rRNA sequences of JWB phytoplasma. The PCR employing phytoplasma universal primer pair P1/P7 consistently amplified DNA in all tested phytoplasma isolates. But no phytoplasma DNA was detected from healthy jujube seedlings. The nested PCR, the primer pair 16S(V) F/R, about 460 bp fragment, amplified DNA in all tested JWB and related phytoplasmas including ligustrum witches' broom phytoplasma of the 16S rRNA group V, but no DNA amplification was detected from other phytoplasma strains such as groups 16SrI (Aster yellows) and 16SrXII (Stolbur group) in which mulberry dwarf phytoplasma and chrysanthemum witches' broom phytoplasma belong to, respectively. The same results were obtained from both Korean and Chinese isolates of JWB phytoplasma. Nested-PCR using phytoplasma universal primer pair P1/P7 and 16SrV group-specific primer pair 16S(V) F/R could detect group V phytoplasmas rapidly and easily, in particular JWB phytoplasma.
Stolbur Phytoplasma was detected from Lilium Oriental hybrids showing flattened stem and flower clustering. The presence of phytoplasma was demonstrated using polymerase chain reaction(PCR) assays with phyto-plasma-universal(P1/P6)and stolbur phytoplasma-specific 16F1/R1-S primer pairs amplifying phytoplasma 16S rDNA regions. Nucleotide suquences of the phytoplasma 16S rDNA were determined. Nucleic acid extracted from lily amplified 1.5 kb DNA with a phytoplasma universal primer pair. In nested PCR, 1.1 kb PCR product was obtained using specific primer pair, indicating an isolate of stolbur phytoplasma. Nucleotide sequence of phytoplasma 16S rDNA reported in this study showed 99.5% and 99.1% identities with two known stolbur phytoplamas (16Sr XII-A). Also, it exhibited a sequence homology of 98.0% with phormium yellow leaf (16Sr XII-B), and 97.9% with Australian grapevine yellows (16Sr XII-B). Meanwhile, it showed 98.1% identity with strawberry green petal phytoplama, (16Sr1-C), and 94.7 % with American aster yellows (16Sr1-B). Homology percentage of the 16S rDNA nucleotide sequence suggests that this phytoplama could be classified into the stolbur phytoplasma, subgroup A (16Sr XII-A), as a type strain stolbur.
