Spoke type 전동기의 최대토크와 최소토크리플을 위한 형상 최적 설계 (Optimum Shape Design of Spoke Type Motor for Maximum Torque and Minimum Torque Ripple)

  • In this paper, we investigate the optimization design for a spoke type motor with the characteristics of high torque density and high-efficiency. This motor has a high output per unit volume. In order to reduce noise and vibration caused by a high cogging torque, optimization design of the rotor and stator have been conducted using both Response surface method (RSM) and Finite elements method (FEM). In this paper, we show the potential for this motor to efficiently replace existing interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSM) in a wide range of industries.

부분분사 축류형 마이크로터빈에서의 성능예측 및 성능특성에 관한 연구 (Performance Characteristics and Prediction on a Partially Admitted Single-Stage Axial-Type Micro Turbine)

  • For axial-type turbines which operate at partial admission, a performance prediction model is developed. In this study, losses generated within the turbine are classified to windage loss, expansion loss and mixing loss. The developed loss model is compared with experimental results. Particularly, if a turbine operates at a very low partial admission rate, a circular-type nozzle is more efficient than a rectangular-type nozzle. For this case, a performance prediction model is developed and an experiment is conducted with the circular-type nozzle. The predicted result is compared with the measured performance, and the developed model quite well agrees with the experimental results. So the developed model could be applied to predict the performance of axial-type turbines which operate at various partial admission rates or with different nozzle shape.

  • By reason of variation magnetic field, cogging torque is generated. Cogging torque of Spoke type motor is bigger than other type permanent magnet motor. So, this paper presents a design notch on stator and variation rotor shape to reduce cogging torque of Spoke Type motor. Through Fourier formulation of magnetic field on air gap, we found position of notch. The validity of the proposed design is confirmed with FEM analysis method.

  • In this study, a MR(Magneto-rheological) brake to obtain high torque-to-size ratio instead of conventional powder brake is presented for high-tension control of converting machinery such as coater, slitter and so on. First, to obtain the higher performance than conventional powder brake, a MR brake with a modified rotor shape is newly designed and analyzed by using electromagnetic field analysis. Second, a prototype of the MR brake is fabricated with the optimized structural parameters and an experimental apparatus is constructed. Finally, basic characteristics between current and torque are experimentally investigated.

  • 복잡한 지형에 위치한 풍력발전소의 유동장을 분석하기 위해 3차원 유동해석이 수행되었다. 본 논문의 목적은 복잡한 지형과 풍력발전기의 배치가 풍력발전소의 성능에 미치는 영향을 연구하는 것이다. 자세한 블레이드 형상을 고려한 총 49대의 풍력발전기가 계산 도메인에 포함되었다. 풍력발전기의 회전운동을 고려하기 위해 고정회전자 기법이 사용되었고, 블레이드에 작용하는 토크를 계산함으로써 풍력발전기의 성능을 평가하였다. 수치해석 결과를 통하여 풍력발전소 전체의 자세한 유동장과 지형적 영향으로 풍속이 감소되는 국부적인 영역을 예측하였고, 상류의 발전기에서 발생하는 후류가 하류에 위치한 발전기의 성능에 미치는 영향도 분석되었다. 본 연구의 해석기법은 추후 건설되는 풍력발전소의 부지와 풍력발전기의 최적 위치를 선정하는 데 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

최적화기법을 이용한 축류형 송풍기개발에 관한 연구 (A Study of Development of an Axial-Type Fan with an Optimization Method)

  • An axial-type fan which operates at the relative total pressure of 671Pa and static pressure of 560Pa with the flow rate of $416.6m^3/min$ is developed with an optimization technique based on the gradient method. Prior to the optimization of fan blade, a three-dimensional axial-type fan blade is designed based on the free-vortex method along the radial direction. Twelve design variables are applied to the optimization of the rotor blade, and one design variable is selected for optimizing a stator which is located behind of the rotor and is used to support a fan driving motor. The total and static pressure are applied to the restriction condition with the operating flowrate on the design point, and the efficiency is chosen as the response variable to be maximized. Through these procedures, an initial axial-fan blade designed by the free vortex method is modified to increase the efficiency with the satisfaction of the operating condition. The optimized fan is tested to compare the aerodynamic performance with an imported same class fan. The test result shows that the optimized fan operates with the satisfaction of restriction conditions, but the imported fan cannot. From the experimental and numerical test, they show that this optimization method improves the fan efficiency and operating pressures of a fan designed by the classical fan design method.

  • 본 논문에서는 IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 단점인 치, 슬롯 구조에 의한 코깅 토크를 최소화시켜 정토크 특성을 향상시키기 위해 배리어(Barrier)와 노치(Notch)를 설치하였다. 실험계획법 및 유한요소해석을 통하여 최적 설계를 수행하고 그에 따른 제반 특성과 진동 및 소음의 원인이 되는 가진력 특성을 고찰 하였다.

  • 본 연구는 1kw급 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기(IPMSM)의 회전자의 최적 형상 설계를 위하여 여러 가지 타입의 형상을 실험 및 시뮬레이션을 통해 공극자속밀도, 쇄교자속, 역기전력, 코깅토크, 정격점에서의 최대토크, 최대토크 전류 위상각의 특성을 비교하여 구동성능을 검토하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 비교한 모델은 1kw급 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기의 기초 특성 데이터로 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
