The single-pass perfusion technique was employed in order to investigate the effect of water flux from the rat jejunum in the normal experimental conditions. Our results suggested that water flux below ${\pm}0.75%/cm$ of jejunal length was considered normal. Water flux was $-0.131\;{\pm}\;0.311%/cm$ of jejunal length in a citrate buffer and should be corrected in order to determine the permeabilities of the compounds. Perfusion rate up to 0.5 ml/min had no effects on the permeability of ampicillin. Neither the effective permeabilities nor the wall permeabilities of aminopenicillins were influenced by water flux during experiments in rats.

The influence of equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) route on dynamic deformation behavior of ultra-fine grained Al-4.4%Mg alloys was investigated in this study. The 8-pass ECAPed specimens consisted of ultra-fine grains of $0.5{\mu}m$ in size, and contained the considerable amount of second phase particles, which were fragmented and distributed homogeneously in the matrix. The result of dynamic torsional tests indicated that the maximum shear stress and fracture shear strain were lowest in the specimen deformed by ECAP via route A among the 8-pass ECAPed specimens. The formation of adiabatic shear bands was addressed by concepts of critical shear strain, deformation energy required for void initiation, and microstructural homogeneity related to ECAP routes.
The performance of louver-finned flat-tube radiators for computer CPU liquid cooling were experimentally investigated. In this study, 5 samples of louver-finned flat-tube radiators with different width size (19mm, 24mm), tube hole (1, 9) and pass number (1, 2, 5) were tested in a wind tunnel. The experiments were conducted under the different air velocity ranging from 1 to 5 m/s. The water flow rate through a pass was 1.7 LPM. Inlet temperatures of air and water were $20^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$ respectively. The results showed that the best performance in the 24mm sample considering pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient.

The purpose of this research was to suggest a category and level of national examination for dietitian's license and provide basic data for the development of national examination question by analyzing the current states on the curriculum of national examination for the dietitian's license and correlation with the current states on curriculum and national examination for the dietitian's license. The higher the current states on curriculum, the lower absentee rate and failing rate of the national examination for the dietitian's license. The higher the current states on curriculum, the higher pass rate of the national examination for the dietitian's license. Also, the current states on curriculum were positive relationship with correct answer rates. The higher the educational system, the higher the current states on curriculum. The educational system was negative relationship with the current states on curriculum of 'public health', 'advanced nutrition', 'food science', 'principles of culinary', and 'food sanitary law (p<0.05)'. The correct answers rates of 'institutional foodservice' were significantly positive relationship with the current states on curriculum of 'institutional foodservice (p<0.01)', 'foodservice organization (p<0.01)', 'food sanitation (p<0.05)', and 'practice in foodservice institutions (p<0.01)'. The pass rate was significantly positive relationship with the correct answer rates of 'institutional foodservice (p<0.01)', 'physiology (p<0.01)', 'biochemistry (p<0.01)', 'food sanitary law (p<0.01)', 'food science and preparation (p<0.05)', 'nutrition education (p<0.01)', 'nutrition (p<0.01)', and 'total score (p<0.05)'.

This study aims at helping us improve the methods used to teach elementary school students how to handle experimental apparatus by examining their manual skills and their understanding of the alcohol lamp, spuit and thermometer. To evaluate their ability to handle each experimental apparatus, a practical skills test and knowledge evaluation sheets were developed. The evaluation was carried out with 270 students from 2 classes each in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade of D Elementary School located in Daejeon City. For their handling ability of the alcohol lamp, the results for the practical skills test showed that the students had a very low ability in placing objects in the center of the apparatus for safe use and also in adjusting the height of the trivet to place objects so that they contact the outer flames correctly. For the spuit, the pass rate of the skills test was generally low in regards to how students should grasp a spuit and the timing and method of depressing the rubber part before dipping it into liquid. For the thermometer, on the other hand, the pass rate was relatively high in every respect. The knowledge evaluation results for the use of experimental apparatus showed a very high rate of correct answers for alcohol lamps and thermometers. The test results for spoils also produced a relatively high rate of correct answers, with the exception of the test item regarding the way that students should grasp them.
Background: The objectives of this study were to establish a swimming capability model for largemouth bass using the FishXing (version 3) program, and to determine the swimming speed and feasibility of fish passage through a waterway tunnel. This modeling aimed to replicate the waterway tunnel connecting the Andong and Imha Reservoirs in South Korea, where there is a concern that largemouth bass may be able to pass through this structure. As largemouth bass are considered an invasive species, this spread could have repercussions for the local environment. Results: Flow regime of water through the waterway tunnel was calculated via the simulation of waterway tunnel operation, and the capability of largemouth bass to pass through the waterway tunnel was then estimated. The swimming speed and distance of the largemouth bass had a positive linear function with total length and negative linear function with the flow rate of the waterway tunnel. The passing rate of small-size largemouth bass (10-30 cm) was 0%at a flow of $10m^3/s$ due to rapid exhaustion from prolonged upstream swimming through the long (1.952 km) waterway tunnel. Conclusions: The results of FishXing showed that the potential passing rate of large size largemouth bass (>40 cm) through the waterway tunnel was greater than 10%; however, the passage of largemouth bass was not possible because of the mesh size ($3.4{\times}6.0cm$) of the pre-screening structures at the entrance of the waterway tunnel. Overall, this study suggests that the spread of largemouth bass population in the Imha Reservoir through the waterway tunnel is most likely impossible.
The performance of louver-finned flat-tube and fin & tube radiators for computer CPU liquid cooling were experimentally investigated. In this study, 7 samples of radiators with different shape and pass number (1, 2, 10) were tested in a wind tunnel. The experiments were conducted under the different air velocity range from 1 to 4 m/s. The water flow rate through a pass was 1.2 LPM. Inlet temperatures of air and water were $20^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$ respectively. It was found that the best performance was observed in the louver-finned flat-tube sample considering pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient.

This study presents the usability of the high-rate single-frequency Precise Point Positioning (SF-PPP) technique based on 20 Hz Global Positioning Systems (GPS)-only observations in detecting dynamic motions. SF-PPP solutions were obtained from post-mission and real-time GNSS corrections. These include the International GNSS Service (IGS)-Final, IGS real-time (RT), real-time MADOCA (Multi-GNSS Advanced Demonstration tool for Orbit and Clock Analysis), and real-time products from the Australian/New Zealand satellite-based augmentation systems (SBAS, known as SouthPAN). SF-PPP results were compared with LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) sensor and single-frequency relative positioning (SF-RP) solutions. The findings show that the SF-PPP technique successfully detects the harmonic motions, and the real-time products-based PPP solutions were as accurate as the final post-mission products. In the frequency domain, all GNSS-based methods evaluated in this contribution correctly detect the dominant frequency of short-term harmonic oscillations, while the differences in the amplitude values corresponding to the peak frequency do not exceed 1.1 mm. However, evaluations in the time domain show that SF-PPP needs high-pass filtering to detect accurate displacement since SF-PPP solutions include trends and low-frequency fluctuations, mainly due to atmospheric effects. Findings obtained in the time domain indicate that final, real-time, and MADOCA-based PPP results capture short-term dynamic behaviors with an accuracy ranging from 3.4 mm to 8.5 mm, and SBAS-based PPP solutions have several times higher RMSE values compared to other methods. However, after high-pass filtering, the accuracies obtained from PPP methods decreased to a few mm. The outcomes demonstrate the potential of the high-rate SF-PPP method to reliably monitor structural and earthquake-induced ground motions and vibration frequencies of structures.
The application of the variable polarity plasma arc welding process to A12219 is described. The thickness of aluminum alloy is 11.45mm and 5.08mm. 1-pass keyhole welding is applied to butt welding and 2-pass welding is also applied to thick material. During welding, all welding parameters are controlled by automated system and acquired by 10kHz rate. This paper covers the welding parameters, result of non-destructive test and tensile test.

This study theoretically investigated the roll-off cleanliness operation to eliminate the built-in contaminants which are primarily the result of manufacturing and assembly procedures first. A rigorous analytical examination of the cleaning process associated with hydraulic systems was performed by developing the general filtration process equations. The sloughing process by which built-in contaminant is entrained in the system fluid was examined during the development of a general analytical expression for sloughing rate. This sloughing rate expression in conjunction with the filtration process equations have lead to a relationship rate expression in conjunction with the filtration process equations have lead to a relationship which describes the flushing and clean-up operation for the hydraulic systems. The effects of the primary roll-off cleanliness factors was discussed and illustrated on the figures. Then, the analytical results was shown to be usefully applied into the design of roll-off flushing equipment for the hydraulic system of a tractor.
