대학생들의 집의 의미에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Meaning of Home of the University Student)

  • Not only is home a place, but also it has psychological and social meaning. Then the meaning of home is different according to geographical location or group. Therefore, under this background, the purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning of home of the university students. The data was collected through the students ' essay about "the meaning of housing for me". The samples are 158 in total. The research method which was performed in order to recognize the meaning of home was a content analysis . As the results of study, the meaning of home are 10 in total. First order is a home as a refuge, second order is a home as a space with a family, and third order is a home as a base of activity.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of‘housework’. In order to understand the intrinsic meaning of housework, we have to distinguish between ‘individual meaning’and‘institutional meaning’. The former is related to the concern, intent, habit, need, desire, and motivation of the given individual, while the latter is related to the social value, norm, and convention of human behavior. The majority of the studies on housework have been made by focusing on individual meaning. As the individual meaning of housework has gradually been emphasized, it has been forgotten that‘housework’itself is a very important part of‘home life’, and then the importance of home life has gradually diminished. Housework is naturally carried out in the process of human history, and housework reflect total human wisdom. In other words, it is thought that it is possible to grasp the total meaning of life in housework. Our life can be richer than now by increasing the quantity of philosophical analysis of the phenomena related to housework.

가사노동의 가정교육적 의미 (The Meaning of Housework for Home Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the meaning of housework for home education. The methodology applied in this study bases on reinterpretation of references concerned with 'housework' and 'education'. The meaning of housework for home education can be analyzed in three aspects, that is, individual, domestic, and social aspect. Houseworkers be capable of developing their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social ability through houseworks. What is more, they are to internalize the culture of home and society. The meaning of housework for home education, however, has gradually been forgotten in people's mind with the appearance of rationalism of modern society. The particular process of modernization in our country has uncovered the negative aspect of housework and continually emphased that point. Thus now people consider housework as only something troublesome. The conclusion of this study is that, for the purpose of our 'noble life as man', we should recover and emphasize the importance of the meaning of housework for home education.   • Everyone lives in a home. We pursue happiness and the meaning of life through home life or family life. Home life, therefore, has an important meaning in the whole life, But home life can be sustained only through housework and wage labor. All human activities can be divided into two kinds of activities. The one has intrinsic value, the other has extrinsic value. Housework belongs to the activity with intrinsic value, but wage labor belongs to the activity with extrinsic value. In view of home life, housework has primary meaning, and wage labor has subsidiary meaning. In other words, wage labor is only means of home life. We mush not forget that important fact. But we cannot help thinking that nowadays people consider wage labor itself as an aim of life. It is said that we are achieving self-actualization through wage labor, but it is not ture. To tell the truth, most of us are experiencing self-alienation in job. We must recover the legitimate relation between housework and wage labor. Wage labor is means of home life, therefore it is on the extension line of housework. If we achieve happiness through home life, we must recognize that wage labor is only means of home life, not an end in itself.

미주 한인 여대생이 생각하는 결혼과 출산의 의미: 현상학적 접근 (Meaning of Marriage & Childbirth among Korean Female University Students Living in the United States: A Phenomenological Approach)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to describe the meaning of marriage and childbirth among Korean female university students living in the United States, who are influenced both by Korean culture at home and American culture in social contexts. Methods: This qualitative study used phenomenological approaches. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews with five Korean female university students living in the United States. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi's method to derive the meaning of marriage and childbirth. Results: From the data, 239 meaningful statements, 49 meaning formations, 22 themes, and 12 theme clusters were extracted. Additionally, five major categories emerged. These categories were 1) marriage as an opportunity for self-growth, 2) the mirror of life: parents, 3) oneself who cannot give up, 4) a desire to live a stable life, and 5) ambivalence on the culture of two countries. Conclusion: To improve the positive meaning of marriage and childbirth, a positive role model such as a happy married life of parents at home must be ensured. Finally, institutional strategies should be established to support the balance between home and work, as well as various policies which support women's pregnancy and childbirth.

  • In this study the meaning of well-being and welfare of home has been analyzed and a new direction in which home economics should advance has been suggested, This study not only would help the characteristics of home economics be properly understood and its displinary position take its own place but also a conceptual analysis which might be uncommon in the studies of learned circles of Korean home economics would be a basis for establishing the uniqueness of the discipline named by home economics. Based on the critical theory of Habermas it has been demonstrated that well-being and welfare of home have been emphasized unfairly in the physical and technical aspects and such a partial pursuit of positivism and purposive rationality of scientific technology has resulted in the situation that home would be gradually encroached and controlled by the social system pursuing purposive rationality. As an alternative to overcome this kind of problems communicative rationality that has em hasis on the process of intersubjective understanding and agreement has been focused. The meaning of well-being and welfare of home has been established through the classification of family life actions in to technical action practical action and emancipatory action, And the characteristics of them have been examined and ideal directionns of each element have been discussed.

단군신화의 복식사적 의의 (I) (A Costume historic study of TANGUN Mythology (I))

  • This study analyzed a costume historic meaning of TANGUN Mythology. TANGUN Mythology have been transmitted from many literatures but TANGUN Mythology recorded Samgukyusa(II-Yun) is not false piece or a fiction. A Costume historic meaning of TANGUN Mythology was studied in the clothing system meaning of a headgear worn by nobles in court in the Chun-Boo-In three and meaning of bear and tiger. However results are not clear. In addition the Han stones of Wu Liang Tz'u relates to TANGUN Mythology but results also are not manifest.

  • 주거는 현실세계에서 중요한 의미를 가진다. 그에 비해 메타버스의 주거는 다양한 메타버스 서비스 플랫폼들에서 만들어지고 있으나 아직까지 다른 건축 유형들에 비해 관심이 부족하다. 본 연구는 주거의 의미, 유형과 특성에 기초하여 현실세계의 주거 모델을 바탕으로 메타버스 주거의 개념을 확립하고 발전 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 선행연구 조사, 기존 주거 모델 분석, 메타버스 주거 사례 연구 및 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 분석된 내용을 토대로 물리적, 사회적, 개인적 모델을 포함하는 메타버스 주거 모델을 제시하였고, 물리적 모델의 공간 꾸미기 및 피난처 특징과 개인적 모델의 자기표현 특징을 메타버스 주거를 가장 잘 나타낼 수 있는 특징으로 파악하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 향후 메타버스 가상세계 연구 및 서비스 플랫폼 개발에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

요양시설 노인과 요양보호사에 있어 식사의 의미 (Meaning of a Meal among Nursing Home Elderly and Staff)

  • 본 연구는 요양시설 노인과 요양보호사에게 있어 식사의 의미를 이해하고자 일상생활방법론을 활용하여 참여 관찰과 심층면담을 적용하여 주제 분석하였다. 연구결과 노인에게 있어 요양시설 식사는 개인의 다양성에 대한 철학이 없는 획일의 식사문화로 인식한 것과 같이 요양보호사 역시 요양시설 노인에게 있어 식사는 편의적 논리에 따른 운영으로 나타났다. 노인에게 있어 식사는 없어서는 안 될 공기와 같은 필수 요소로 건강 회복의 염원을 담고 있었으나 요양보호사는 단지 생존을 위한 수단으로 아무 의미가 없이 생명 연장을 실현하고 있었다. 노인에게 간식은 권력 및 일상의 탈출이었으나 요양보호사에게 있어 간식은 또 다른 통제 수단이었다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 노인장기요양보험의 시행 법령 및 요양시설 운영진의 입장이 아닌 요양시설에서 생활하고 있는 노인의 다양성을 반영한 실질적인 식사 운영 지침의 개발과 노인 존중과 이해에 대한 지속적인 교육의 필요성을 제시하였다.

실내환경의 색채의미연구를 위한 도구의 개발 (Development of an Instrument to Study Color Meaning in Interior Environment)

  • The purpose of the study was to determine if an abstract color palette was representative of a color scheme of interior environment by which the meaning of colcor could be determined. An abstract color palette was developed by the researchers to show contrast, overlapping, and adjacencies as they might actually appear in an interior environment. Six pictures and six color palettes were used to test the meaning of color. The questionnaire consisted of 21 words to describe the color of interior environment. The sample consisted of 73 undergraduate students of varied majors. A factor analysis was used to identify the structure of color meaning. Five factors; emotional factor, factor of unity, spatial quality factor, factor of complexity, and social evaluation factor were identified. A t-test was used to analyze the difference in responses to the descriptor words for the pictures and palettes. It was found that in 14 of 21 descriptor, there was no significant difference between evaluation of color meaning for the pictures and palettes in 50% or more of the cases.
