This study was performed to analyze the relationship between the participative motivation and satisfaction of adolescents participating in Green Camp which was the field centered forest experience camp as analyzing the factor of the participative motivation and its influence on the satisfaction. Also, this study identified the changes in creative personality before and after participation to Green Camp. In results, there were five motivation factors: 'Adventure and Interest', 'Forest Activity', 'Improve Physical Health', 'Rest', 'Suggestion'. When respective factors were analyzed, the mean of 'Interest and adventure' was the highest at 4.303, and then 'Forest activity' at 4.287, 'Rest' at 3.970 followed. In the case of participant satisfaction, 'the teaching materials and tools of the camp' was the highest at 4.530, and then 'contents of the camp' at 4.410, 'lecture performer of the camp' at 4.229, 'the way of progress of the camp' at 4.036, 'the place of the camp' at 3.952, 'the passage time of the camp' at 3.843 followed. It showed that 'Forest activity' factor and satisfaction had a positive relationship (p<0.05). In addition, the means of creative personality before-and after-program participation increased from 3.687 to 3.773 (t=-2.218, p=0.029). Based on the analysis of satisfaction, this study suggested improvements of Green camp. Also, it proved that the participation Green camp had influence on the creative personality. The finding of this study is meaningful in that it proposed the necessity of activation forest education focusing on experience.
There have been few researches on the factors affecting forest recreation demand and demand for and value of forest recreation in Korea. This study has three main objectives as follows; First, to introduce the nature of recreation demand, the factors affecting forest recreation demand, and the methods of measuring demand for and benefits from forest recreation by reviewing related literatures. Secondly, to investigate the visitors' characteristics, patterns of recreation activities, and their attitudes for the recreation environments at the Deogyu National Park through interviewing them with the questionaire. Thirdly, to estimate the demand for and benefits of forest recreation at the National Park by Travel Cost Method. The survey was dealt by three trained interviewers at the enterance of the park for 5 days from September 26 to October 10, 1982. The 430 respondents were sampled randomly among 9,391 visitors with 4.6% of sampling rate. As the results, the study revealed that most of visitors to Deogyu National Park were from urban areas and belonged to the intermediate-upper income classes, and that most of them traveled more than 250 km or 4 hours to the site from their origins. And more respondents answered that the recreation environments of the cite were more or less better than other recreation areas. From the date of travel distances and participation rates of 13 cities or counties, the demand schedule of forest recreation at the National Park was established. The estimated equation of total experience demand curve is; Log $VR_i$ 2.6353 – 1.021 Log $D_i$$R^2=0.9451$ where, $VR_i$$(%\times1000)$ = Participation rate of the ith origin $D_i$ (km) = Travel distance from the ith origin From the total experience demand curve, the demand curve of recreation resources was built by adding travel cost in distance (km). The regression equation of the recreation resources at the Nation park is; Log V = 4.0304 – 0.8167 Log D $R^2=0.9060$ From the demand schedule of recreation resources, the recreational bendfits of Deogyu National Park was estimated. The estimated bendfits to a visitor from the forest is equivalent to the travel cost of 2,372 km. The study also found out that the demand for recreation resources was less elastic than the demand for the total recreation experience at the Deogyu National Park.

This study conducted in-depth interviews with employees who worked at three different travel agencies in Seoul and had different employment years. In order to resolve emotional labor, we investigated and analyzed the positive effects of forest healing programs and tried to help both travel agents and forest healing operators. According to the analysis, the person who was selected for the H travel agency was interviewed at the forest healing experience center in Gapyeong in April 2018 and her job as an operator for the fifth year since she joined the company. He said that he suffered from depression due to emotional labor in the customer service process and that it has a positive effect through forest healing. Next, M travel agents conducted an interview in May 2018 at the forest experience center in Uiwang, and their job as a woman was product planning. In the case of emotional labor and physical illness in the work with customers, participants were interested in forest stability, people's humanity, and wooden crafts in particular. Lastly, participants of R travel agency conducted an interview at the forest experience center in Seoul in June 2018 and it was their 10th year as a man and their job as a tour contact. In order to solve the difficulties, I experienced forest experience in close geographical areas and received great help.
The amount and frequency of past experience in forest recreation have been considered as one component of an overall specialization. Past research has shown that more specialized recreationists have differing motives, attitudes, satisfaction levels, environment preferences, and management preferences. The overall purpose in this study was to investigate the effect of specialization on users' attitudes toward environment and park management. 320 Wolaksan visitors were surveyed in the summer of 1993 to collect the data. Specialization, as measured by past experience, frequencies of visitation to any forest recreation areas per year, visitor days per year, and number of visits to Wolaksan, was tested the relationship to the users' levels of environment attitudes and park management perception. Among the specialization variables, past experience was highly correlated with the levels of attitudes toward environment. Experienced recreationists preferred natural environments to settings associated with social activities. Most of respondents perceived the importance of the attributes related to park management. However, they gave low performance scores to the attributes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of weekend forest healing programs using urban forest on family cohesion and family relationship improvement and parental satisfaction with programs. 21 families (65 people)participated in the weekend forest healing program in Incheon Grand Park from April to August 2018. The program using family forest experience activity and forest healing therapy was newly constructed and implemented with 4 times 8 hours for 2 hours each week. The results of this study is that weekend forest healing programs for family gave a positive effect on family cohesion and family relationship, and parents' satisfaction showed high satisfaction in most items. Therefore, we concluded that forest healing activities are suitable for effective healing activities in modern society where functions such as family cohesion and emotional bond are recognized as important by improving family cohesion and family relationship. Further research should be extended to different types of families, and the development of diverse and interesting family-experience forest healing programs that reflect family needs should continue.

Changes were analyzed and verified using t-test. Verified. The changes in the lung capacity, health & fitness, emotional intelligence, and psychological well-being of the experimental group and the control group were analyzed and verified using t-test.For the changes in lung capacity and health & fitness, there was a statistically significant difference between the control group and the experimental group in lung capacity (t=24.56, p<.05), and there was also a statistically significant difference between the two groups in cardiorespiratory endurance among the elements of health & fitness (t=16.64, p<.05). As for the changes in emotional intelligence and psychological well-being, there was statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the emotional intelligence (t=2.31, p<.05) and in psychological well-being (t=3.21, p<.05). Through this study, the positive effects of the forest experience program were confirmed, and it is believed that institutional arrangements are needed to improve children's participation conditions by expanding forest experience education spaces and developing customized forest experience programs to suit the characteristics of the region.
Since the experience of major landscape change during last half of the century due to war and rapid urbanization, the traditional character has been weakened, and it is necessary for a reconsideration to improve the landscape for the future. To review these relationships, the importance of a comprehensive understanding of nature has been suggested. Therefore identification of a new concept based on the 'socio-cultural influence of landscape' and 'sense of place' which are related to peoples' previous experience, is required. Furthermore more practical definitions and criteria to reveal the relationship are necessary. Among the terms suggested to describe sense of place such as 'home', 'place identity', 'place-based meaning' and 'settlement identity' etc., the 'home' is selected to represent our surrounding landscape. For more practical classification of home landscape, additional terms are suggested and defined based on both the relationships between human beings and nature, and between memory derived from previous experience and shared values with in the community. The additional terms which are the most important in the role of landscape character related to humans' are; ⅰ) Personal Landscape: Landscape of an individual human, which derives from previous personal experience; involves distinguishable character for a given person, and it is emotional and flexible depending on circumstances. ⅱ) Ordinary Landscape: Landscape of the 'common interest' between members of a community, which is acceptable as a surrounding for everyday daily life, it produces the richness and variety of landscape. ⅲ) Kernel Landscape: Landscape of the 'common ground' which is acceptable to the majority members of the community, and it provides variety and stability for periods of time, and it could strongly represent community attitudes toward nature. ⅳ) Prototype Landscape: Landscape as the 'common denominator' of overall community from past to present and towards the future, which encompasses all the kernel landscape throughout history. It provides a sense of place, balances the homogeneity of character throughout overall communities. Some part of this can be shared throughout history to shape an overall sense of place. It can also represent short terms fashions. For a prototype landscape to reveal sense of place, there are a couple of points which we should underline the commencing point. Firstly, understanding the relationship between humans and nature should be based on a given character of surroundings. Secondly, reoccurring landscape elements which have sustained in history can lead to sense of place, and should be reviewed the influences between nature and humans.
The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing effective forest healing programs for retirees by identifying their characteristics and preferences. A survey was conducted on demographic characteristics, overall perceptions of forest healing, and preferences for forest healing programs, targeting a total of 258 retirees visiting a natural recreation forest and a healing forest. The results of the survey suggested that the awareness of the forest treatment program and the hope of participating in it were both high, but the experience of participating in the program was low. Among the forest healing programs, the order of preference was "Breath in the forest", "Wind bathing and sunbathing", and "Feeling negative ions in the valley". Based on these results, it is expected that the forest healing program for retirees will be used as basic data for development of such programs in the future.
This study explored the theoretical context of postmodern aesthetics in experiencing art/craft/handmade/studio furniture for 'wood culture experience class' or 'wood love experience class', which has been recently carried out by the Korea Forest Service and is apt to focus on making simple wood work just involved in the practical part. Qualitative conceptual analysis as the principal methodology was used to achieve the theoretical context in the experience programs. I developed the lesson for an aesthetics of art and everyday life with wood furniture which expresses the metaphorical aesthetics appeared as New Design furniture in postmodernism. As statement of objective in the lesson, I explored that students in elementary schools personally understand and define the postmodern aesthetics of New Design furniture as metaphor. As a result, the students will be able to define and identify New Design furniture as metaphor in their lives.

Background and objective: In the Republic of Korea, military service is mandatory. Some of new recruits have the stress from the special environment, which could cause psychological maladjustment. The military forces have operated education programs such as green camp and healing camp. The study was conducted to investigate changes in psychological and physiological stress by conducting forest healing activities along with plant scent treatment for soldiers participating in a green camp. Methods: A total of 52 soldiers were participated including maladjustment soldiers and those recommended by their military units to protect the unfit soldiers who participated in forest healing activities in the green camp. The programs that were certified by the Korea Forest Service between 2014 and 2019, and were applied for stress reduction and relaxation training were classified into stress-coping programs and forest experience programs. Post-hoc surveys and cortisol measurements were carried out. Results: Green camp soldiers experience and differences in the level of stress responses were found to be very statistically significant between the treatment and control groups. The techniques for coping with stress were not significantly different in the control group, and the treatment group showed statistically significant results. In addition, the results of analyzing changes in the concentration of cortisol and measuring physiological stress were very statistically significant in forest healing activities at 4 p.m. Conclusion: Once green camp soldiers face stressful situations, forest healing programs using forest plant scents for green camp soldiers can have positive responses and forest healing activities can reduce psychological and physiological stress responses, improving maladjustment behaviors caused by stress and positively affecting the reduction of cortisol.
