The purpose of this study was to find common characteristics in everyday landscape cognition that the residents share and to restore the resulting characteristics through citizen-participatory town design. Through the residents participatory workshop supported by the Gwangju Buk-gu District Autonomy and Citizen Academy of Gwangju YMCA, 304 people from eight administrative districts participated in three programs. In each program, photographed landscape images representing everyday conditions of the townscape were presented in several ways: in program 1, the residents' mental map was studied; in program 2, landscape images of real places were matched to locations on a map; and in program 3, the landscapes were scored on a scale from 1 to 5 according to five descriptive categories. The elements that were recognized as common landscape features were public facilities, pedestrian spaces, school areas, and parks and natural green spaces. Additional results including recognition of the participants affection for the village and a common landscape image shared by the people, as inhabitants looked around at the space of their own lives. It seems possible that more creative townscapes can be created by residents through participatory programs.

Most of electric accidents are happened in the place where activities are frequent by common people who has low electric knowledge. Also, accidents are increased in the low voltage electric equipment. So, it is increased to spread the dispersion or non-utility power generation system. It means that ordinary times observation is required for electric equipments by common people. This paper is studied for the diagnosis method of electric equipment that common people can diagnose easily Voltage is generally and exactly measured in the electric and electronic field. We suggest new analysis tools using only electric voltage. It is called the Time-Energy analysis. The Time-Energy analysis is as following First, divide measured voltage waves into same parts, Second, conducted FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) transform for each divided period, Finally, each results are reassembled after graphic treatment. We compared Time-Energy analysis with discharge form by tracking tester. As the result, tracking discharge processes distinguished clearly.

In this paper, I made a comparative study of design process of Kuryong-Ri, Keumsong-Myun, Chechon City, Chungbuk Province which is one of rural communities in Korea and framing process of master plan for Hama street at Sirahama town on Wakayama Ken, famous hot-bath resort in Japan. Both processes have common points to adopt identical design philosophy and method called 'Pattern Language'. The aim of this study to provide valuable reference for applying at community design by the people in the future, though analyzing common and unlike points, laying stress on the process of user-participation rather than its final results. It is possible confirm Pattern Language is effective tool for carrying out community design by the people.

This research has a purpose to examine the actual conditions of natural dyeing program as a personal learning experience, participants' characteristics and common people's interest on natural dyeing nowadays. To examine the actual conditions of natural dyeing center and programs, many web sites and newspapers dealing with natural dyeing were used as main resources. As common people's interest on natural dyeing increased, there were a lot of natural dyeing centers in around country. To examine the interest on natural dyeing and the participants' characteristics of natural dyeing program, the data was obtained from a convenient survey of 326 respondents over 15 years old during 15th, May~30th, July in 2006. Almost 40% of respondents were interested in natural dyeing, but only 19% of respondents had ever participated in natural dyeing experience program. The participants' characteristics such as motivation, participating time, dyeing sources and materials, etc. were examined. Almost 65% of respondents were satisfied with natural dyeing experience. As long as people have interest on natural dyeing, Industrialization of natural dyeing will be advanced.

본 연구는 민간경비원의 직무스트레스가 이직의사에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있으며, 2005년 현재 경찰청에 등록된 서울 및 수도권 소재 민간경비업체 중, 50명 이상 근무하고 있는 업체를 모집단으로 설정하였다. 선정된 경비업체의 민간경비원을 표집대상으로 설정한 후 유층집락무선표집법(stratified cluster random sampling)과 할당표집방법(quota sampling)을 병행 사용하여 표본을 추출하였다. 조사도구는 설문지를 사용하였으며, 타당도와 신뢰도 분석을 통해 검증을 실시한 후 사용하였다. 데이터는 각 목적에 맞게 부호화하여 입력시킨 후 사회과학통계 프로그램인 SPSS 12.0 version을 이용하여 전산처리 하였다. 이와 같은 방법과 절차에 따른 자료 분석을 통하여 본 연구에서 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 민간경비원의 사회인구학적 특성에 따라 직무스트레스 및 이직의사의 차이를 검증한 결과 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 이직의사의 상관과계 분석 결과 직무환경과 이직의사에서 정적인 관계를 나타내었다. 셋째, 민간경비원의 직무스트레스가 이직의사에 미치는 영향을 검증한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study finds an interesting fact that five symptoms (smallpox, postpartum pain, eye disease, swollen symptom and parasite infection) mentioned in Ryu Ei-Tae Medicinal Tales and his prescriptions (steamed rice, loess, soybean sprouts, cinnabar, radish, sesame oil and pork) were dramatized on the basis of traditional Korean medicinal knowledge in the Joseon Dynasty. Based on the study of experience-based medicinal literatures popular in the Joseon period, it is confirmed that the prescriptions are actually effective. Also it is inferred that popular diseases at that time were abscess, difficult baby delivery, postpartum pain and parasite infection, which were regarded as almost incurable diseases to ordinary people. These stories also showed destitution of common people who could not afford to buy medicines at that time. As shown in the Ryu Ei-Tae Medicinal Fable, many people might try various ordinary materials around them such as soil or nose wax. One of the outcomes of this study is that the fact that the tales mentioned common materials easy to get in the surroundings such as steamed rice, sesame oil, soybean sprouts or radish could be interprets as care and consideration of medicinal doctors for ordinary people at that time.

The purpose of the study was to investigate and make comparison of brand images of men's wear brands and women's wear brands targeting middle-aged people or older people. Thus, the study could be an exploratory study to search apparel niche-market for middle-aged or older consumers. The questionnaire consisted of questions on 28 brand image. The subjects were to evaluate their brand images and rate on 5 point Likert-type scales of 28 adjectives. Most of the subjects were designers or merchandisers who worked for men'wear brands or women's wear brands. The SPSS/WIN Program was used to calculate frequency, t-test, and cluster analysis. The results from the study were as follow : 1) The common images which men's wear brands and women's wear brands strongly pursued were prestigious, luxurious. 2) Each 37 men's wear brands and 36 women's wear brands were clustered into one groups by brand images. The common images included in first clusters of men's wear and woman's wear brands consisted of prestigious. luxurious, formal, comfort, and conservative. This market needs to be more segmented by differentiated brand images.

The hip-length jacket(유) worn by the Korean from the ancient times is tole prototype of the contemporary jacket. Hip-length jacket was transferred to Japan and worn by all the people beyond the class. From 12C, the King and the high class people wore the clothing influenced by Tang(唐) country but the common people continuously wore the hip-length jacket. Currently the hip-length jacket is worn by the merchant and is used as the clothing of the celebration. The hip-length jacket has not been much changed in terms of the form.

감정적, 심리적 상처와 문제를 독자 스스로 치유할 수 있도록 도와주는 독서치료는 일반적으로 일반인(비장애인)을 대상으로 책(치유서)을 이용하여 진행되는 자가치료법이다. 일반인과 다르게 장애인은 책이 아닌 대체자료를 이용하여 독서치료를 실시한다. 장애인은 장애로 인해 소외감, 불안감 등 여러 심리적인 상처를 받거나 정신건강 문제를 가지게 된다. 장애인의 독서치료의 필요성에 대해 인식하여 장애인도서관에서 각종 프로그램을 개발 및 진행 중에 있지만, 아직 활성화 단계라고 볼 수 없다. 독서치료를 실시하기 위해서는 독서치료를 위한 자료에의 접근을 도와주는 독서치료 목록이 우선적으로 필요하다. 그러나, 기존의 독서치료 독서목록은 대부분 일반인을 위한 것으로 장애인을 위한 독서치료 대체자료 목록, 혹은 병리증상 혹은 상황에 따라 카테고리화된 대체자료 목록은 별도로 개발되어 있지 않다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 장애인을 위한 독서치료의 활성화를 위한 일환으로, 장애인을 위한 독서치료와 독서치료 독서목록의 필요성에 대해 살펴보고, 장애인의 독서치료를 위한 대체자료의 현황, 그리고 앞으로 장애인의 독서치료를 위한 대체자료 개발 방안에 대해 제안한다.

Objectives : This research is aimed to confirm the treating patients with herniated lumbar disc using Chuna treatment. Methods : Out of patients who were confirmed to have a herniated lumbar disc by MRI among the patients in oriental medical hospital of Kyungwon University from July 2005 to Dec 2006, we dived 15 people was treated common treatment, 15 people was treated both common treatment and Chuna treatment. We measured Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and symptom grade before and after treatment in each groups. Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS program. Results : The result of the Visual Analog Scale(VAS) and symptom grade before and after treatment between two group, shows that the improvement of Back pain and Sciatica in common treatment with Chuna treatment group is more effective than that in only common treatment group.
