The human body is a subject to represent one's thoughts and feelings more easily. Historically, the women's body has become a implement to express an ideal of beauty with the changes of the times and it has created some ideal boy by various means.We have been influenced consciously or unconsciously by the ideal body made artificially. As fashion dolls and mannequins came out with various style in he 19th century, the fashion and the ideal body of those days were expressed completely. In the 20th century, it took as a matter of course that commercialization of fashion made persue the ideal body, so mannequin as a transmitter of esthetic presentation were used to express the ideal body. Mannequin is a implement to express an ideal body of that times, because mannequin, when it is made, is exactly embodied fashionable images of that times which include a ratio of the human bodys curve, a pose, an ample bosom, a fashionable dress and so on. This study considers changes of the ideal body and the fashionable clothes in each generation from the 1920's to the present time, and, on the basis of this, the correlation of the ideal body with the form of mannequins. And this study examines what kind of mannequins, that is, realistic mannequin, sculpture mannequin, and abstract mannequin.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the identities and roles so that they can grasp their social roles and directions. Artists show a change in identity from the deification of modern artists with freedom and genius to artists who challenge the cognitive aspect of art and redefine the scope and concept of artists by expanding their social role. Artists dreaming of an ideal art utopia, in which art, society, politics, and daily life are coordinated, are constantly presenting the social role and direction of art through the combination and challenge of new ways of art and craft, beauty and function, creative imagination, and public service. Fashion designers act as contemporary genius artists, creators who express the appearance of the times, practitioners who advocate social values and changes, members of business in the fashion system, celebrities who are spotlighted by the public at the center of the fashion industry, or fashion influencers. Thus, fashion designers are complex or selective in their role depending on the fashion philosophy of individual designers or location given within the fashion system. They are becoming the subject of creating the culture of the times by expressing social ideology or playing a role in practicing art in life that leads social culture so as to raise the value of fashion in their development and satisfy cultural enjoyment of fashion consumers who consume art in everyday life.

This study delves into the Gache Prohibition Order during the Chosun Dynasty and researches the changes of the Gagye style caused by Gache Prohibition Order comparing both the pre-prohibition order and post-prohibition order and analyzing its related remains, old documents, and other researches about the Gache Prohibition order. The Gache Prohibition order during the Chosun Dynasty had contributed to the changes of the Gagye styles such as Sseu-gye, Hwan-gye, and Eoneun hair styles. Dae-su and Eo-yu-mi Gache in Sseu-gye style had been rarely used while Hwa-gwan and Jok-du-ri were often used in the Sseu-gye style. In the Hwan-gye style, Hwan-gye of Geo-du-mi was replaced with wood. Form and bulk in Eoneun hair had been minimized and changed into new types of The Gache Prohibition order of the Chosun Dynasty had affected the Gagye style in the following ways: First, in the aspect of style, the Gagye style was used to decrease volume. Second, the Practical science of the Chosun Dynasty had affected clothing in terms of actuality, convenience, simplicity, and openness. Third, the Gache Prohibition Order affected the Gagye style as well as the re-understanding of the beauty of clothing.

Recently the hospitals or clinics tend to get out of the functional and technological aspect so as to gradually emphasize service for patients. While qualitative rather than quantitative alteration is noticeable, the scale of clinics is getting larger. Especially, the opulence resulted from economic, social and cultural development has enabled more people to visit dermatology or plastic surgery besides treatment for disease. Responding to this tendency, dermatology is focusing on skin beauty, plastic operation, controlling obesity, etc. for women rather than ordinary treatment. Thus, dermatology is in need of space for skin control as well as ordinary treatment, which raises the immediate necessity of new plan for space and interior environment. In order to meet such necessity of dermatology, it is required to fully study and consider the plan for interior space. First, the purpose, scope and method of research will be defined in the introduction. Second, the concept of clinic as well at the characteristic of dermatology will be studied by theoretical investigation. Third, the general concept of dermatology will be analyzed by examining the characteristic of each room in dermatology, the moving line of nurses and patients, the color of dermatology and the design factor of finishing materials through general investigation on dermatology. Fourth, in order to look into the general case of dermatology, the object of examination will be selected for examination through literature and visiting. After examining data, the result will be analyzed and evaluated to prepare the ground for interior plan of dermatology.

This study is to analyze that the pluralism is the main aspect of the modem fashion which examines the definition and the character of the pluralism. This will also consider the pluralism that appeared on the modern fashion which is based on them. The main point of pluralism is that the world is necessarily aware of plural and difference. Also many values which is focused on the previous generation, for instance disorganize of westernism, androcentrictrism, christianism and powerful nationalism, what is called unfamiliar, heterogeneous, the others and the circumference things. As these were rehabilitated, morality, ethics, religion or politics were all became possible to choose for one's taste. The pluralism expressed in modern fashion can be divided as collapse of genre, grafting the lower and higher orders cultivation, variety way of approaching in time, internationalism. The result for the consideration is that the pluralism has candid attitude for everything so that in the modern fashion is importing variety range of artistic definition. Namely, it is not only containing previous pure art, elegance art and element of artistic sublime beauty, but also has aesthetics of ugliness, deconstructive art and anti-fashion so that the definition of the art is getting vagueness and diverse.

Lacquer has a high value as a coating of typical arts and crafts in East Asia including Korea, Japan, and China and traditional representative of the gorgeous satin that is fit to the cultural conditions of each region. Lacquer is harmless to the human body and its robustness, preservatives, moth proofness, and strong heat resistance can maintain a long life. It seems that it will be able to make a significant contribution to create a variety of products if we continually study and raise the productivity and quality of the goodness of these lacquer. In this context, we reviewed the Pitae lacquer wares, which is one of the lacquer of traditional techniques that can be applied to the development of daily necessities and cultural product. Joining the goodness of harmless and environment-friendly lacquer and the characteristics of the leather that can produce a variety of physical beauty can develop household goods of tradition and modernity in harmony. It is worthwhile re-interpreting the tradition in the aspect that we can develop our culture from a modern, plastic, and artistic point of view.

The purpose of this study is to present a new orientation for the residential culture that can meet the shifting demands of modern people as their attitudes toward life change. One of the rural regions that has lately attracted considerable attention, Wonsam-myun, Yongin city, is selected as the residence zone to develop a housing complex. In this study, a new housing complex is designed to supplement the defects of existing housing complexes by making the utmost use of the merits that Wonsam-myun as a residential environment can offer. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. To present a new Korean model, yellow soil houses and traditional trees were used to utilize Korea's traditional landscape beauty in the construction and landscape aspect, instead of imitating indiscreetly foreign styles in which most newly developed housing complexes were built. 2. To provide convenience to prospective residents, a package sales scheme covering from lot purchase to building permit was adopted. 3. As for the planting plan, existing plants was preserved as much as possible to keep harmony with new plants. In selecting plant types, a traditional method that emphasizes on the visual effects of aesthetic plants and shade trees with the change of seasons and plants various kinds of plants according to directions was adopted. 4. Each household was given the opportunity to design its own garden according to the family's preference and taste. 5. The advantages of a rural area that city does not offer were fully utilized to provide the residents with convenience and pleasure of living.

오뜨꾸뛰르 복식은 새롭고 독창적인 아이디어를 창인 할 뿐 아니라 복식의 고유한 요소 즉, 수공예 적이며 전통고수의 성격을 강하게 갖으면서 20세기에 들어와서는 대중적 요소가 결합되어 세계모드에 영향력을 행사하는 것으로 파악된다. 이러한 요소는 개더의 고유한 구조 자체가 갖고 있는 기술 구사 적 측면으로서만이 아니라 기본적인 기술적 요소가 현대의 여러 사조 및 소재나 복식디자인 적 요소와 유합 하여 복식의 기능적 측면과 장식적인 측면이 융합되어 착용 자나 디자이너에게 있어 미적 표출과 감성적인 측면에까지 영향을 미친다. 20세기는 새로운 예술운동의 범람과 전위적 운동의 전개로 전통적 장르가 붕괴되거나 혼합되어 나타났다. 이러한 믹싱 현상은 트랜드의 부재, 패션의 부재라 할 수 있는 해체주의 적 경향을 띄게 되어 최근 오뜨꾸뛰르에 나타난 개더의 유형으로 아이템이나, 소재, 디자인에서 혼합적 양상이 개더의 디테일 적 요소와 유합, 상충, 병치되어 등 인위적인 구성인 복합구성의 자유로운 형태로서 다종다양하게 나타났다.

It seems to be difficult to bridge between human and nature. All depictions of nature are not necessarily reflections of reality. Thoughts are projected into nature, then nature will reflect us. The world is composed of natural and cultural environment. There are differences between depiction of nature based on correspondence and construction of world. Environmental aesthetics is an emerging field of study that focuses on nature's aesthetic value as well as on its ethical and environmental implications. Allen Carlson, a pioneer in environmental aesthetics, provides challenges as well as a wealth of resources for those who would appropriate his ideas in the service of environmental protection. Carlson's positive aesthetics, his focus on the functionality of human environments, and his integration of aesthetics and ethics have great import for those seeking to use aesthetics to assist in addressing environmental controversies. Environmental ethics would benefit from taking environmental aesthetics more seriously. Environmental aesthetics is an emerging discipline that explores the meaning and influence of environmental perception and experience on human life. Arguing for the idea that environment is not merely a setting for people but fully integrated and continuous with us, Arnold Berleant explores the aesthetic dimensions of the human-environment continuum in both theoretical terms and concrete situations. Aesthetic experience is always contextual. The aesthetic aspect of any human habitat is an essential part of its desirability. The aesthetic perception of environment shows us the reciprocity that constitutes both person and place. The genuine beauty lies in the coexistence and harmony with natural environment.

Affinity between a creative and experimental fashion design and a Fashion Make-up expressed in John Galliano's Collection was analysed to examine the harmony between Beauty and Fashion. This approach may establish the link between the Fashion Make-up analysed in view of Aesthetics and aesthetic characteristics of a fashion design that a fashion designer pursues. The Fashion Make-up plays a significant role to express a relevance to a design spirit because it is a visual text that a audience faces easily in a collection leading the style. Under the proposition that collection is understood as a popular culture as the fashion is preferential and popular, the Fashion Make-up can be analysed in the aspect of aesthetics. The characteristics reflecting the popularity of popular culture, such as the comic, the erotic, the fantastic and the sentimental are used to analyse and interpret the Fashion Make-up. The fashion design and Fashion Make-up with one characteristics or combined ones showing uniqueness in the popular culture are compared and analyzed.
