달리기시 최고 속도 및 피로 구간의 3차원 동작 분석 (3-Dimensional Analysis of the Running Motion in the Max-Velocity Phase and the Fatigue Phase During 400m Sprint by Performed Elementary School Athletes)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the running motion in the max-velocity phase(150-160m) and the fatigue phase(350-360m) during 400m sprint by performed elementary school athletes. Eighteen elementary school male athletes who achieved at least the 3rd place in the sprint at the Korea Gangwon-Do elementary school track and field meetings during 2004 and 2005 were selected as subjects. The running motions performed by the subjects were recorded using two 8mm high speed cameras at the nominal speed of 100 frames per second. The Direct Linear Transformation technique was adopted from the beginning of filming to the final stage of data extraction. KWON 3D motion analysis package program was used to compute the 3 Dimensional coordinates, smoothing factor in which lowpass filtering method was used and cutoff frequency was 6.0 Hz. The movement patterns during foot touchdown and takeoff for the running stride were related with the biomechanical consideration. Within the limitations of this study it is concluded: In order to increase running velocity, several conditions must be fullfilled at the instant of leg touchdown and takeoff during the fatigue phase(350-360m). First, the body C.O.G(Center of Gravity) height should be raised at the instant of leg touchdown and takeoff during the fatigue phase. Second, the foot contact time should be shortened and the takeoff distance should be increased at the foot takeoff during the fatigue phase. Third, the shank angular velocity with respect to a transverse axis through the center of gravity should be increased during the leg touchdown and takeoff in the fatigue phase. Forth, the active landing style described as clawing the ground with the sole of the foot should be performed during the leg touchdown and takeoff in the fatigue phase) phase. Fifth, In order to increase running velocity in the fatigue phase while taking a slightly greater leg knee angle and body lean angle within the range of the subject's running motion during the fatigue phase would result in greater flight distance.

2단 양자화기를 사용한 1차 DPLL의 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of a Modified Binary Quantized first-Order DPLL)

  • 기존의 2단 양자화된 1차 디지탈 위상포착회로(DPLL)의 포착시간과 정상상태에서의 위상오차를 줄이기 위한 방법을 연구하였다. 기본적인 DPLL에 하향(falling) 영전위교차시간을 검출하여 위상을 교정하는 회로를 첨가하여 그 성능을 개선하기 위한 연구를 하였으며 기본적인 DPLL의 성능과 비교하였다. 그래프방식을 사용하여 잡음이 없는 상태에서 위상스텝 및 주파수 스텝입력에 대한 DPLL의 위상포착과정을 시각적으로 해석하였다. 정현파 입력에 협대역임의잡음(narrow band random noise)이 섞여 있을 때 DPLL의 성능을 분석하기 위해서 Chapman-Kolmogorov 방정식을 사용하였다. 이 방법은 컴퓨터에 의한 모의 시험을 통하여 입증되었다. 수정된 DPLL의 정상상태의 위상오차와 평균포착시간이 기본적인 DPLL의 그것들과 비교되었다. 수정된 DPLL의 포착시간은 거의 두 배 정도 빨라졌으며 정상상태의 위상오차는 신호대잡음비가 커짐에 따라 개선의 폭이 중가하여 결국 영에 접근함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 가압 경수로의 주요 기기에서 발생할 수 있는 과도 2상 유동(Two-phase flow) 현상에 대한 해석을 수행하기 위해 원자로 기기 열수력 해석 코드를 개발 중에 있다. 개발 중인 기기 열수력 해석 코드는 지배 방정식으로 Two-phase, three-field model을 사용하고 있으며, 복잡한 기하학적 형상의 원자로 기기를 모사하기 위해 비정렬 격자계(Unstructured grid)를 활용하고 있다. 수치해석 기법으로는, 원자로 계통 해석코드 RELAP5가 사용 중이며 대부분의 원자로 내 2상 유동 조건에서 안정적이며 정확하다고 알려진 Semi-implicit 방법을 적용하였다. 그러나 기존의 Semi-implicit 방법은 1차원, 엇갈림격자(Staggered grid)에 대해 개발되었기 때문에, 이를 다차원, 비정렬, 비엇갈림 격자(Non-staggered grid)에 적용하기 위해 기존의 Semi-implicit 방법을 수정하였다. 본 논문에서는 Semi-implicit 방법의 대류항을 이차정확도를 갖도록 확장하였으며, 이차정확도에 의한 수치확산의 감소를 평가하기 위해 수행된 수치시험의 결과를 기술하였다. 이차정확도 및 일차정확도로 계산된 값을 해석해 또는 격자 수렴성 시험을 통해 평가해 본 결과, 이차정확도 계산시 수치 확산의 감소 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 $\pi/4$ shift QPSK에 Trellis 부호화된 변조 기법(Trellis-Coded Modulation. TCM)을 적용시키기위하여 $\pi/8$ shift 8PSK를 제안하고 위상차에 의한 신호 집합 확장과 신호 집합 분할을 수행하는 trellis 부호화된 π/8 shift 8PSK를 제안한다. 또한 BER(Bit Error Rate) 성능을 향상시키기위하여 제1차 위상차뿐만아니라 제L차 이상차의 자승 유클리드 거리를 매트릭(Branch Metric)으로 갖는 비터비 디코더(Viterbi decoder)를 설계한다. 그리고 $\pi/4$ shift QPSK, trellis 부호화된 $\pi/8$ shift 8PSK와 제L차 위상차의 자승 유클리드 거리를 메트릭(Branch Metric)으로 갖는 trellis 부호화된 $\pi/8$ shift 8PSK 의 BER 특성을 AWGN에서 Monte Carlo 시뮬레이션을 통해 알아본다. 제안된 알고리즘은 MDPSK에도 적용될 수 있다.

  • In recent year, there have been much techniques for designing globally stable adaptive control systems when the unknown plant is minimum phase. This paper presents a new seheme for indirect adaptive control structure for nonminimum phase plant of which parameters are estimated from the least-square algorithm. Its effectiveness has been demonstrated by computer simulation carried out for a second-order plant.

  • There are many types of grid-connected inverter controllers; Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF)-based controller is the most popular methods. SRF-based controller is capable for reducing both of zero-steady state error and phase delay. However, SRF-based controller has a complex algorithm to apply in real application such as digital processor. Resonant controller is also reduced zero-steady state error, but its transfer function has a high order. In this paper, a simple proportional control is applied for grid connected inverter with LCL filter. LCL filter is a third order system. Applying a simple proportional controller is not increased the order of closed loop transfer function. By this technique, the single phase model is easily obtained. To reduce steady state error, proportional gain is set as high as possible, but it may produce instability. To compromise between a minimum steady state error and stability, the single phase model is evaluate through Root Locus and Bode diagram. PSIM simulation is used to verify the analysis.

  • Two dimensional phase transition and three dimensional propagation of layer structures of liquid crystal film are investigated by using surface second harmonic generation method. We have found a distinctive first order phase transition between a monolayer phase and a stable 3-layer phase of 8CB liquid crystal film.

  • Reference/modulating waveform continuity is not a necessary condition for the implementation of switching patterns for three-phase pulse-width modulated(PWM) converters. This is based on the fact that the converter phase-voltages do not need to be sinusoidal and switching pattern discontinuities do not degrade the quality of output/input voltage/current waveforms by introducing low-order harmonics if certain parameters are optimized. This paper introduces the selected harmonic elimination to reduce the switching frequency and low-order harmonics compared with continuous PWM techniques and some discontinues switching patterns for PWM converter.

리니어 펄스모터의 고정자 상권선 적층에 따른 추력 리플 저감 기법 연구 (Reducing the Thrust Ripple Generated by the Stacking of Stator Phase Windings of a Linear Pulse Motor)

  • The stator phase winding of a linear pulse motor, which is a new type of linear motor, is comprised of two phases and is structurally characterized by a stacking method in which the winding of one phase is laid on top of the winding of another phase. Such a structural characteristic induces a difference in the flux linkage resulting from the flux of each stator phase winding in the same condition. The difference in the induced flux linkage acts as a kind of thrust ripple component in terms of the generated thrust. Thus, in order to maintain consistent thrust force, a method is required to solve the problem caused by the structural singularity. Hence, in this study, we present a technique for reducing the thrust force ripple generated by the stacking of the stator phase windings of a linear pulse motor through the generation of a compensating current reference value of the current controller in order to keep the torque constant. The proposed compensating algorithm is validated by simulations and experimental results.

계통전압 왜곡 및 불평형시 3상 계통연계인버터의 계통전류제어 기법 (Grid Current Control Scheme at Thee-Phase Grid-Connected Inverter Under Unbalanced and Distorted Grid Voltage Conditions)

  • This paper proposes the control method for compensating for unbalanced grid current and reducing a total harmonic distortion (THD) of the grid current at the three-phase grid-connected inverter systems under unbalancd and distorted grid voltage conditions. The THD of the grid current caused by grid voltage harmonics is derived by considering the phase delay and magnitude attenuation due to the hardware low-pass filter (LPF). The Cauchy-Schwarz inequality theory is used in order to search more easily for a minimum point of THD. Both the gain and angle of a compensation voltage at the minimum point of THD of the grid current are derived. The negative-sequence components in the three-phase unbalanced grid voltage are cancelled in order to achieve the balanced grid current. The simulation and experimental results show the validity of the proposed control methods.
