20대 비만 남성을 위한 의복 사이즈 체계에 관한 연구 (Apparel Sizing System for Obese Men in There 20s)

  • The purpose of this study is investigate the feature of the body shape of obese males and to propose a new apparel sizing system considering the body size of obese men through an the analysis of the body measurement of obese men in their twenties as reported in the 'Fifth Korean National Physical Standard Reports'. For this study, a new apparel sizing system for casual wear was proposed for obese men in their twenties after a body measurement of 159 obese men in their 20s with a BMI of 25 and over as reported in the 'Fifth Korean National Physical Standard Reports' conducted by SIZEKOREA. This study sought to investigate the features of obese men's bodies by comparing the body shape between obese men and ordinary men. The result of shows that width, depth and circumference items influencing the width size when producing clothes are larger in the case of an obese body shape than an ordinary body shape, and that the stature, total length, arm length and outside leg length influencing the length size are similar between an obese body shape and an ordinary body shape. Therefore, it was confirmed that an apparel sizing system specializing in clothes for obese customers is required. As a result of this study of the features of body shape, the control dimensions for such an apparel sizing system were determined to be the stature and chest circumference of upper garments and the stature and waist circumference(omphalion) for lower garments. The interval between the sizes was 5cm for the stature and was irregular for the chest and waste circumference. Consequently, 8 sizes were proposed for upper garments and 9 sizes were proposed for lower garments.

슬랙스의 동적 적합성 향상을 위한 설계 요인 연구 (A Study on the Design Factor for Increasing the Dynamic Fit of Slacks)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the basic design factors that affect the changes in body surface lines caused by lower limb movements, thereby resulting in slacks that fit well regardless of whether the human form is static or in motion. Using unmarried female university students aged 18-24 as subjects, a total of 32 body surface lines (15 body surface total lines and 17 body surface segment lines) were measured in one static and 9 movement poses, The analysis first involved the calculation of the expansion and contraction rates per body part in body surface line in 9 lower limb movements, Second, a factor analysis was conducted using the expansion and contraction rates of these changes in body surface line. The results of this study are as follows, According to the factor analysis, basic design factors that affect changes in body surface lines comprised 8 types of factors as illustrated in fig, 2-fig, 9, which explained 79.2% of total variate for the variables studied, Factor 1, comprising the lower segment of center back leg line, center front leg line and inner leg line, and lower limb girth except midway thigh girth and ankle girth below hip girth, accounted for 30.3% of total variance, Factor 2, comprising waist girth, the total and upper segment of center back leg line and center tront leg line, and front and back segment of crotch length, explained 17.4% of total variance, Factor 3, the total and upper segment of lateral leg line at the center, accounted for 56.5% of total variance in accordance with Factors 1, 2, and 3, Factor 4 was the contracting upper part of lower leg between legscye girth and midway thigh girth, Factor 5 comprised the total and upper segment of inner leg line and posterior knee girth, Factor 6 was the total crotch length, Factor 7 was the ankle girth, Factor 8 was the abdomen girth.

비폐쇄를 보이는 III급 부정교합아동의 기도 공간 형태와 안모 골격 형태와의 상관관계 연구 (A study on the correlation between airway space and facial morphology in Class III malocclusion children with nasal obstruction)

  • 본 연구는 비폐쇄를 보이는 III급 부정교합아동에서, 기도 공간의 형태와 안모 골격 형태 사이의 상관관계를 평가하였다. III급 부정교합을 보이며, 비폐쇄 소견을 보여 이비인후과로 의뢰된 환아 100명의 초진 측모 두부 규격 방사선 사진에서 상 인두기도 공간(upper PAS), 하 인두기도 공간(lower PAS), 편도의 크기, 구개-혀 공간을 측정하여 기도 공간 형태를 분석하였으며, 통상적인 계측점을 사용하여 안면 골격 분석을 시행하여 기도 공간 형태 계측항목과 안면 골격분성 항목간의 상관관계를 연구하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Upper PAS는 ramal height, SNA, SNB, PFH, FHR, facial plane angle 항목과 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, saddle angle, articular angle, gonial angle의 sum, SN-GoGn, Y-axis to SN, FMA 항목과 음의 상관관계를 보였다. Lower PAS는 genial angle, FMA와 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, articular angle, facial depth, PFH, FHR와 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 편도의 크기는 PCBL, ramal height, Mn. body length, Mn. body length to ACBL, facial depth, facial length, PFH, AFH와 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 구개-혀 공간은 saddle angle, articular angle, genial angle의 합, facial length, AFH, FMA, LFH와 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, IMPA, overbite와 음의 상관관계를 보였다.

Classification of Lower Body Types of Female Adults aged 18 to 69 based on 3D Body Scan Data - Focusing on the Front Type, Lateral-Front Type, and Lateral-Back Type -

  • This study classified the lower body types of female adults aged 18 to 69. The lower body was divided into front, lateral front, and lateral back. In order to understand the shape and somatotype of each segment, 592 people were analyzed based on girth, height, length, depth, width, angle and cross section distance for each segment. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 was performed for descriptive statics, principal component analysis, K-means cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan's test (as verification). Factor analysis was performed based on index values, calculation values, angles, and cross section distances. The measured items resulted in a.) 16 items were extracted to 5 factors in the case of the front factor (FF) of the lower body, and b.) 24 items were extracted to 6 factors in the case of lateral front factor (LFF) and lateral back factor (LBF). Each factor was put through K-means cluster analysis, classifying the lower bodies into one of four types of based on the front type (FT), the lateral front type (LFT), and the lateral back type (LBT) respectively. This study proposed an understanding of various lower body shapes by segmenting and classifying the lower body shapes for each type.

하악제 3대구치의 맹출에 미치는 요소에 관한 연구 (SOME FACTORS RELATED TO MANDIBULAR THIRD MOLAR ERUPTION)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors which might be related to mandibular third molar eruption and to predict the possibility of whether or not it will be erupted. The material of this study was lateral cephalometric radiograms, pantomograms and dental casts obtained from 70 patients (19 males, 51 females) ranging in age from 18.0 to 32.1 years. They were devided into erupted group and impacted group of mandibular third molars. For the comparison of each group, a total of 20 measurement items were employed and the data were analyzed by means of computer statistical method. As a result of this study, the following conclusion can be made; 1. The longer mandibular body length and narrower mandibular ramus width, the higher eruption tendency of the lower third molar, but the degree of genial angle was not related to mandibular third molar eruption. 2. The lower percentage of posterior mandibular body height to anterior mandibular body height, the higher eruption tendency of the lower third molar. 3. The total tooth size, including the lower second molar, appeared to be larger in the impacted group than in the erupted group of the lower third molar. 4. The arch length discrepancy of the impacted group was more severe in contrast with the erupted group of the lower third molar.

18~59세 키 작은 여성의 체형특징, 신체인식과 신체만족도 분석 (Body Characteristics, Perceived Body Size and Body-Cathexis for Short Women Aged 18 to 59)

  • This study examined the body characteristics, perceived body size and body-cathexis according to the stature of women aged 18 to 59. Special focus was on women of short stature; in addition, the study searched for the proper clothing fit and satisfaction level for short women. The 2010 SizeKorea data of 2,586 women aged 18 to 59 was analyzed statistically to find the distribution of stature according to 4 age groups along with the body characteristics and proportion of 3 stature groups in each age group. A questionnaire was conducted with responses from 412 women aged 18 to 59, and the perceived body size and satisfaction with body size of 3 stature groups were studied with 5 Likert scales. Although the stature of Korean women has increased, short stature women (those under 155cm) still represent a high percentage of individuals in Korea. Short women (small in height and length) had unique body characteristics in width, depth, and girth that were distinguished from the characteristics of medium or tall women. Especially, the lower body part of short women had distinct characteristics. Accordingly, it is undesirable to reflect the same ease or same body proportion in clothing construction for the 3 stature groups. Short women perceived their stature and length of upper or lower body as too short and the satisfaction with their body size was lower than medium or tall women. To upgrade the clothing fit and satisfaction of short women, it is necessary to reflect the unique body characteristics of short women in clothing design and construction.

중국 중년 남성의 슬랙스 패턴설계를 위한 하반신 체간부 유형분석 - 절강성 영파 지역을 중심으로 - (Type Analysis of Lower Trunk Body for the Slacks Pattern Design of Chinese Middle-Aged Men - Focused on Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province -)

  • This study aims to classify lower trunk body types of Chinese men in their middle age (30s and 40s) and suggest the standard for them to design slacks pattern. Mollison's relation deviations were used to analyze the direct measurement items in this research compared to those of Size Korea 2004. Though Korean middle-aged men were higher in most items than Chinese counterparts, all items except mid-thigh circumference and side hip length were merely within the range of ${\pm}1\sigma$. According to the results of size classification by absolute values, factor analysis extracted to 2 factors(horizontal size of lower body and vertical size of lower body), and cluster analysis brought about 3 types(type1: tall and thin trunk (36.9%), type 2 : normal height and thick trunk(45.5%), and type 3 : short and normal trunk(17.6%) with some significant differences among them. Also, the results of shape classification by index values, they were extracted 4 factors (waist-hip flatness, waist-hip cross section, vertical waist-groin and hip-surface length) by factor analysis and revealed 3 types(type 1: different waist-hip width, thick, long waist, long upper hip, and short hip-surface length(27.8%), type 2 : different waist-hip width, flat, short upper hip, high hip and groin, and average hip-surface length(29.4%), and type 3: small waist-hip width, thick, average upper hip, and short hip-surface length (42.8%)) with significant differences among them by cluster analysis. The results of standard body types by shape-size combination, 19subjects(10.16%) under these values are regarded as standard body types. Significance was not seen in all items in the t-test results between the total group and the standard group. The latter had lower variation coefficients and smaller individual differences than the former. However, in-depth research is required for generalization since this research is limited to a small number of subjects in Ningbo of Zhejiang.

폐경기 여성을 위한 슬랙스 패턴에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Slacks Blocks for the Menopausal Women)

  • From the menopause, women's aging progress is accelerated. Changes of lower body somatotype are accentuated in abnormal of body index and proportion. The purpose of this study is making more functional, more beautiful and more comfortable slacks for the postmenopausal women who actively participate in social activities. The results of this study are as follows: As the characteristics of this study pattern, hip circumference was replaced with maximum lower body circumference, the crotch length was defined as H/4, front crotch extension was H/16 and back crotch extension was defined as H/8. The center backline was set up with half of crotch level line. As characteristics of style, waist line is lowered 2cm at the center front, 1cm at the center back with a little bent waistband. Knee line was set up heightened 6cm from crotch level to the ancle, and widened the width of the knee and ancle, and made in semi bell bottom. 6 women who put on slacks designed from their body size evaluated that their experimental slacks were superior than ready to wear.

  • This study was focused on classifying lower-body trunk and revealing the lower-body characteristics of the Chinese males in their 20s through 40s for their slacks pattern design. Compared with the 20s, the subjects in their 30s and 40s had small vertical and big horizontal sizes and showed a somatotype difference through a horizontal change. According to the size of absolute values, the lower body of Chinese men was "tall and normal trunk"(43.9%). Based on the shape of index values, Type 3(40.3%) was representative with average hip-surface length, waist-hip width difference and long upper hip. While Type 3 was seen a lot in the 20s(51.8%), 30s and 40s were each represented by Type 2(47.1%) with the smallest waist-hip width difference, average upper hip, and long hip-surface length and Type 1(45.9%) with small waist-hip width difference, average upper hip, and short hip-surface length. As this study is confined to Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province and has a small number of subjects, the generalization of the findings should be more serious. Further research will be centered on the development of slacks patterns in consideration of the body type changes.

A Study on the Lower Body Torso Shape in 40s, 50s and 60s Women for Development of Urinary Incontinence Panty

  • 본 연구에서는 요실금 발생빈도가 높아지는 40대, 50대, 60대 여성을 대상으로 하여 하반신 몸통 체형을 유형화하고 그 특징을 알아보고자 한다. 또, 연령대별 하반신 몸통 체형을 분류해봄으로써 요실금 팬티 패턴 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 얻고자 한다. 본 연구는 국가기술표준원 제8차 인체치수조사데이터 중 40-69세 여성 1543명을 대상으로 하여 하반신 몸통 관련 계측항목 총 29개를 분석하였다. 분석에는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 하반신 몸통 높이 항목은 연령이 증가할수록 낮아지고, 너비 관련 항목은 연령이 증가할수록 넓어지며, 둘레 관련 항목은 허리둘레와 배둘레는 증가하고 엉덩이둘레는 작아지는 것으로 분석되었다. 몸통길이는 연령이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 하반신 몸통 구성 요인은 하반신 몸통 수평 요인, 높이 요인, 하부 요인, 수직 요인으로 분류되었다. 하반신 몸통 유형은 긴 역삼각 체형, 짧고 높은 몸통 체형, 몸통 비만 체형, 낮은 삼각 체형으로 분류되었다. 하반신 몸통 수평 요인과 높이 요인은 유형 3이 가장 크고, 하반신 몸통 수직 요인과 하부 요인은 유형 1이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 하반신 몸통은 허리와 복부가 발달된 유형과 엉덩이, 넙다리가 발달된 유형으로 분류되어 요실금 팬티의 가로 부위 설정 시 체형 차이의 반영이 요구되었다. 또, 몸통이 긴 유형과 짧은 유형으로 분류되어 앞중심과 뒷중심길이 차이를 반영할 수 있는 제도법이 필요하였다.
