Massive Open Online Courses(MOOC), originally started from United States, have recently received a great deal of attention all over the world. MOOC means free online courses that anyone can attend anytime. In Korea, KERIS(Korea Education and Research Information Service) and some universities provide various MOOC services. The purpose of this paper is to present current status and improvement suggestions of MOOC. We first introduce the formal definition and history of MOOC, then discuss current status of MOOC services in Korea and other countries. We finally present improvement suggestions that include induction of active participation for universities, value creation for campus, development of revenue model, providing motivation to students for finishing courses, development of LMS(Learning Management System), securing well-trained lecturers, translation of lecture materials, ensuring quality of authentification system of MOOC services.

This paper focuses on finding out visualization process by means of VTA(Visual Task Analysis) of expert teachers' simple task. Findings indicate teachers have coding schema of performing visual task as such; (a) the analyzing by reading and some activities in the task text, (b) conceptualizing or understanding in his/her own way, (c) the explaining of the action or product, (d) the searching by thinking or finding, (e) the decision of visualizing of the task. Expert teachers tried to visualize in the form of abstract graph, and to omit the object which was not directly related to the topic at the pilot study. VAT based on ground theory and protocol analysis was developed and performed. This case study suggests that an additional study for searching a guide and method might be beneficial for conducting a visual task analysis.

The aims of this study are to conduct meta-analysis for obtaining pooled estimates of the utility weight for stroke and to explore the study design characteristics that determine the utility weight for stroke. Medline (Pubmed), CEA Registry (Tufts Medical Center), and KERIS (Korea Education & Research Information Service) were searched to find out the literature that reported quality of life with stroke. Patient characteristics, utility weights and standard errors were extracted and stratified by severity, study method, respondent and country. All estimates were measured on a 0 to 1 scale with 0 representing the death and 1 representing the perfect health. The pooled estimates of the utility weight were 0.627 for total stroke, 0.756 for mild stroke, 0.631 for moderate stroke, and 0.389 for severe stroke (p=0.0001). Non-patients showed significantly lower utility weights than patients for severe (p=0.0122) stroke.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore research trends in childhood executive function in Korean academic journal articles. This study showed which population groups were studied, which factors of executive function were measured, and which domains were studied in the selected articels. Methods: A systematic review of empirical studies of childhood executive function published in Korean academic journals from 2006 to 2016 was conducted. Through searching the KERIS database, 60 empirical studies were selected for review. Results: The results of the analyses showed that the population group the most studied was normal young children and that factors of executive function most studied were inhibition, cognitive flexibility, and working memory. Conclusion: Based on this systematic review of empirical studies of childhood executive function, several suggestions for future research are addressed.

대학에서 수행되고 있는 다양한 업무 가운데 ASP 서비스가 가능한 영역을 대상으로 데이터의 통합 성과 커스터마이징 평가 요소를 기준으로 어플리케이션을 분류하였다. 대학정보화 어플리케이션을 2평가요소로 4개의 군으로 분류하였고, 각 군의 특성을 분석하였다. 이 분류를 통해 ASP 사업자는 대학정보화 어플리케이션의 특징과 특성을 살펴볼 수 있다. 또한 대학데이터센터 구축 방안중 ASP 추진 전략의 근거로 사용할 수 있다.

본 연구는 최근 인터넷 분야에서 각광을 받고 있는 포털사이트의 개념, 특징 및 구성요소에 대해 살펴보았다. 세계적으로 유명한 대표적 포털사이트인 마이크로소프트(MSN), 아메리카 온라인(AOL), 야후(YAHOO)의 포털서비스 사례를 컨텐츠(contents), 커뮤니티(community), 커뮤니케이션(communication), 커머스(commerce)의 유형으로 나누어 알아보았다. 이러한 포털사이트의 개념을 도서관의 통합정보 서비스 제공에 적용할 수 있는지 알아보기 위하여 학술정보 전문 포털사이트인 한국교육학술정보원(KERIS), 연구개발정보센터(KORDIC), LG상남도서관의 포털사이트의 주요 내용을 살펴보고, 학술정보 전문 포털사이트의 모형 구축을 시도하였다.

조직에서 IT에 투자함으로써 납득할만한 가치를 얻고 있는가에 대한 물음에 많은 경영진과 의사결정권자들은 확신을 하지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 또한 조직의 IT 역량이 조직의 경쟁력 향상에 기여하고 있는가에 대한 부분도 크게 다르지 않다. IT프로젝트는 의뢰 IT부서가 담당하고 있으며, IT 투자 또한 전사 차원의 전략인 관점보다는 전술적 수준의 이니셔티브로 인해 적지 않은 자원을 낭비하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 상황에서 IT 거버넌스에 대한 필요성과 개념에 대한 올바른 인식이 필요하게 되었으며, 그 접근 방법으로써 ITA를 비롯하여 많은 방법론들이 대두되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 우리는 정부부처 및 공공기관을 대상으로 ITA를 기반으로 정보자원을 관리하고 있는 조직들을 대상으로 IT 부분에 있어 어떠한 의사결정 형태를 갖고 있는지 연구하였으며, 본 연구에 관한 자세한 내용은 다음과 같이 논의 하였다.

최근 초고속 통신망과 같은 우리나라의 발달된 인터넷 인프라를 활용할 수 있는 e-Learning 콘텐츠 활발히 개발되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존에 개발된 콘텐츠와 평가를 포함한 교수,학습 활동 계획을 관리할 수 있는 ICT 교육 통합 지원 시스템을 구성하는 서브시스템 중 교수,학습 콘텐츠 관리 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 이미 개발되고 중앙교수학습센터 및 시,도 교수학습 지원센터 등에서 제공되고 공유되는 학습자료를 활용하기 위해 KERIS 등에서 제시한 표준을 본 시스템의 설계에 반영하였다. 교수,학습 콘텐츠 관리 모듈은 학습객체를 분류 저장 데이터베이스화 하였으며 실제 활용이 매우 쉬어 특별한 훈련이나 교육을 받지 않아도 기초적인 수준의 PC 활용 능력만 있다면 누구나 쉽게 교수,학습 콘텐츠를 수집하여 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 시스템은 기 개발된 학습객체의 재사용으로 인한 효율성 증가는 물론 교과, 단원 학습 주제별로 구조화하여 저장 관리하여 교사의 교수활동 준비 시간을 줄임으로써 실제 학교 현장에서 활용하여 ICT 활용 교수,학습 활동 개선에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

Since the recent financial crisis in universities has caused the decrease of academic library budget, the resource sharing has been considered by utilizing inter-library loan (ILL) data for solving the financial deficit. This study aims to identify the collection profiles of western monographs' ILL data among 4-year academic libraries. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, this study analyzes ILL data from 2011 to 2017 using the bibliographic data and ILL transactions of the KERIS union catalog. The findings of the study show that the western monographs was significantly provided by large-scale academic libraries in 2011, however, the extent of major regions expanded, and the number of influential institutions rose in 2016. Second, in 2012, the influence in the ILL network increased in the quantity of western monographs holdings and the proportion of common collections. On the other hand, in 2016, it was also shown that the influence in terms of provision in the ILL network increased in the proportion of unique collections. Lastly, the ILL participating academic libraries were classified into six clusters by a hierarchical clustering analysis of holdings and ILL indexes.

The purpose of this study is to suggest a plan for establishing SR (systematic review, hereinafter called SR) support services in domestic university libraries through a case study of SR support services in overseas university libraries. For this purpose, a total of 119 overseas university libraries were divided into all fields (subjects and disciplines) and the medical field. And A total of 10 areas such as service fields, service subjects, public relations, librarian roles (counselors, collaborators), education, librarian introduction, team member, application form, SR theoretical content, and others were divided and investigated. As a result, the SR support service of the university libraries being investigated is expanding from the medical field to academic fields such as natural science, engineering, and social science. It was confirmed that there were differences in service support hours, services, and whether co-authors were recognized according to the role of the librarian. Educational services are provided to users for the SR support service with a focus on retrieval strategy and skills. In the promotion of the SR support service, the librarian must suggest that it should be included. The importance of SR support services for Korean university libraries should be emphasized through the analysis of SR support services for overseas university libraries, professional search education should be strengthened in the curriculum. Also Organizations related to university libraries such as KERIS have suggested that systematic SR education support is needed for librarians.
