본 논문에서는 Solaris 운영체제 커널의 파일 시스템 레벨에서 보안 기능을 제공할 수 있는 파일 시스템 암호 모듈을 설계한다. 네트워크를 통해 통제를 뚫고 침입해오더라도 파일 시스템에 저장된 데이터를 정상적으로 읽을 수 없다면 내부의 중요한 자료 유출은 방지할 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서 설계된 Solaris 파일 시스템 암호 모듈은 동적 적재 모듈 개념을 사용하여 커널 레벨에서 보안 기능을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 파일 시스템 암호 모듈에서는 지정된 경로 내의 파일에 대해서 암호화 및 복호화 기능을 수행한다. 또한 이 모듈은 키 관리 기능 등을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 파일 시스템 암호 모듈 기능은 Solaris 운영체제 커널에서 실험이 이루어졌다.

A methodology for XML documentation of the structural calculation document is presented to support manipulation of the design information on the internet. The text file format is chosen as a neutral format because it can be easily translated from office documents generated from engineering practice. The first word of each line is compared with the reserved numbering groups, and relative levels among the lines are defined to generate the hierarchically structured XML document of the text file. The demonstration subjected to sample general documents and structural calculation documents shows that the prototype application module based on the developed methodology can be adopted to build the database of design information which supports the safety management of infrastructures.

Many users want to add some their own information to data which was on the web and computer without actually needing to touch data. In remote sensing, the result data for image classification consist of image and text file in general. To overcome these inconvenience problems, we suggest the annotation method using XML language. We give the efficient annotation method which can be applied to web and viewing of image classification. We can apply the annotation for web and image classification with image and text file. The need for thesaurus construction is the lack of information for remote sensing and GIS on search engine like Empas, Naver and Google. In search engine, we can’t search the information for word which has many different names simultaneously. We select the remote sensing data from different sources and make the relation between many terms. For this process, we analyze the meaning for different terms which has similar meaning.

This paper introduces DICE, a Domain-Independent text Classification Engine. DICE is robust, efficient, and domain-independent in terms of software and architecture. Each module of the system is clearly modularized and encapsulated for extensibility. The clear modular architecture allows for simple and continuous verification and facilitates changes in multiple cycles, even after its major development period is complete. Those who want to make use of DICE can easily implement their ideas on this test bed and optimize it for a particular domain by simply adjusting the configuration file. Unlike other publically available tool kits or development environments targeted at general purpose classification models, DICE specializes in text classification with a number of useful functions specific to it. This paper focuses on the ways to locate the optimal states of a practical text classification framework by using various adaptation methods provided by the system such as feature selection, lemmatization, and classification models.

텍스트를 이용하는 새로운 데이타베이스 응용을 효율적으로 지원하기 위해 여러 가지 텍스트 검색 기법이 연구되었으며, 이러한 연구 가운데 효율적인 검색 기법으로 요약 화일 (signature file) 방법이 제안되었다. 그러나 이러한 연구는 모두 영문 텍스트를 위한 연구이며, 한글 텍스트를 위한 요약 화일 기법에 관한 연구는 거의 전무한 상태이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한글의 특성에 맞는 요약 화일 기법을 설계하고 아울러 제안한 기법의 실용성과 타당성을 검토한다.

This article is an approach to improving the clustering of Web images by using high-level semantic features from text information relevant to Web images as well as low-level visual features of image itself. These high-level text features can be obtained from image URLs and file names, page titles, hyperlinks, and surrounding text. As a clustering algorithm, a self-organizing map (SOM) proposed by Kohonen is used. To evaluate the clustering efficiencies of SOMs, we propose a simple but effective measure indicating the accumulativeness of same class images and the perplexities of class distributions. Our approach is to advance the existing measures through defining and using new measures accumulativeness on the most superior clustering node and concentricity to evaluate clustering efficiencies of SOMs. The experimental results show that the high-level text features are more useful in SOM-based Web image clustering.

쿠키는 단순한 텍스트 파일로 사용자가 웹 서비스를 제공 받은 서비스 내용이 기록되어 있다. 쿠키파일에 기록 되는 정보 중에는 사용자의 개인정보도 포함된다. 개인정보가 기록된 쿠키파일을 공격자 획득하게 되면 사용자의 개인정보 유출로 인해 금전적인 피해까지 입을 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 쿠키 파일의 보안성 향상을 위해 제시된 관련연구와 쿠키파일의 낮은 보안성으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 취약성을 살펴본다. 관련 연구와 쿠키 파일의 취약성 분석을 통해 쿠키 파일을 안전하게 보관할 수 있는 보안영역에 대한 설계와 효율적인 보안영역을 제시를 위해 보안영역을 구현할 수 있는 방법에 대해서 알아본다. 또한, 성능평가를 통해서 보안성을 확인해 보았다. 보안영역을 통해서 사용자 PC에 저장된 쿠키파일의 보안성을 향상시켜 사용자의 개인정보를 안전하게 유지할 수 있을 것이다.

The Musical Slide Show MAF, which currently being standardized by MPEG, conveys the concept of combining several established standard technologies in a single file format. It defines the format of packing up MP3 audio data, along with MPEG-7 Simple Metadata Profile and MPEG-21 Digital Item Declaration metadata; with JPEC images and optional text, and synchronizes them all together to create a slideshow of JPEC image data associated to MP3 audio data during the audio playback. The implementation of Musical Slide Show MAF can be a music karaoke file where users can sing along while listening to the music, view the JPEG slideshow and reading the lyrics; or a story-telling file where users can listen to the narrated story by looking at the related illustration slideshow of the story In this paper we present the tool to producing the Musical Slide Show MAF contents. Regardless the knowledge of user on the MAF file format, the authoring tool simplify the manner of packaging several multimedia contents into single file.

통합형 파일시스템이 차세대 파일시스템으로 주목받으면서 디지털 셋톱박스나 스트리밍 서버에서 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS를 보장함과 동시에 텍스트 기반의 웹 문서나 그림 파일 등의 입출력 요청을 처리하는 것이 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있다 그러나 하나의 파일서버에서 다양한 요구사항을 지닌 입출력들을 동시에 처리해야 하는 경우, 입출력 요청들의 디스크 탐색시간을 최소화하는 것을 목표로 하는 기존의 파일시스템에서는 멀티미디어 스트림의 QoS를 만족할 수가 없다. 본 논문에서는 이처럼 다양한 입출력 요청이 혼재하는 통합형 환경에서 멀티미디어 스트림의 QoS를 보장하는 파일시스템 개발에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 먼저 다양한 응용프로그램들의 입출력 요청을 QoS 요구사항에 따라 크게 두 가지-주기적인 요청, 산발적인 요청-로 구분하고, 입출력 요청 처리 수준에서 주기적인 요청에 높은 우선순위를 부여함으로써 멀티미디어 스트림의 QoS를 보장하도록 하였다. 또한, 이러한 메커니즘을 리눅스 운영체제에 구현하여 그 성능과 효과를 검증하였다.

텍스트에 대한 내용 본위 검색 기법으로서 요약 화일(signature file) 기법은 역화일(inverted file)이 허용되지 않을 때 매우 유용하다. 그러나 한글은 영문과 달리 어절의 형성이 복잡하고 띄어쓰기 형태가 고정되지 않음에 따라 기존의 단어 위주 영문 본위 요약 화일 기법을 그대로 적용시킬 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 띄어쓰기를 무시하고 중복된 2음절 패턴을 도출하여 요약 화일을 구성, 검색하는 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 일본어, 중국어 등 비슷한 문제를 가진 외국어에도 적용될 수 있다.
