시스템 진단을 위한 실장 MUX의 검사패턴 생성 알고리즘 (The Test Pattern Generation Algorithm of Embedded MUX for the System Diagnosis.)

  • In this paper, we propose the test pattern generation algorithm of the embedded faulty MUX for the prevention of misdiagnosis of digital systems. When the system is partitioned with a large number of functional blocks, if the faults are exsisted in a embedded MUX then it can not diagnose the wanted observation of functional block. The proposed test pattern generstion algorithm can apply the MUXs that designd 2-level and multi-level both. Fault coverage becomes 100% and so it is no necessary of the additional fault simulation and the proposed algorithm that have the regulary and easily generated 2d test patterns. And we confirmed that the reduction of test cost becomes 85%, compared with the conventional segmentation testing scheme.

  • This paper presents a design of a simulation apparatus to evaluate an operational control algorithm for the PRT system. PRT systems require very short headways to increase the line capacity and a very reliable vehicle control algorithm for avoidance of the impact between vehicles. Therefore, it can be said that the development of an reliable operational control algorithm for the PRT systems is much more important than that of the hardware configurations. In this paper an apparatus is proposed which is composed of virtual vehicles, a central control system, a man-machine interface and monitoring device, making it possible for the designed operational control algorithm to be implemented and tested. For the test of the proposed apparatus a test operational control algorithm is designed and the experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed simulation apparatus for test and evaluation of the PRT operational control algorithms.

Feasibility Test and Scheduling Algorithm for Dynamically Created Preemptable Real-Time Tasks

  • An optimal algorithm is presented for feasibility test and scheduling of real-time tasks where tasks are preemptable and created dynamically. Each task has an arbitrary creation time, ready time, maximum execution time, and deadline. Feasibility test and scheduling are conducted via the same algorithm. Time complexity of the algorithm is O(n) for each newly created task where n is the number of tasks. This result improves the previous result of O(n log n). It is shown that the algorithm can be used for scheduling tasks with different levels of importance. Time complexity of the algorithm for the problem is O(n\ulcorner) which improves the previous results of O(n\ulcorner log n).

  • For the effective control of a $CO_2$ air-conditioning system, the system high-side pressure algorithm, the indoor temperature algorithm, and the outdoor fan algorithm were developed. The system high-side pressure algorithm was composed of the setpoint algorithm, the reset algorithm, and the electronic expansion valve control algorithm. The indoor temperature algorithm was composed of the compressor control algorithm and the indoor fan control algorithm. These algorithms were tested by using mathematical models developed from the previous study. Results from the setpoint step change test and the disturbance test showed good control performances. Therefore, algorithms developed in this study may practically used for the control of a $CO_2$ air-conditioning system.

  • In this study, a test bed for vehicle longitudinal control is developed using a chassis dynamometer and real time 3-D graphics. The proposed test bed system consists of a chassis dynamometer on which test vehicle can run longitudinally, a video system that shows virtual driver view, and computers that control the test vehicle and realize the real time 3-D graphics. The purpose of the proposed system is to test vehicle longitudinal control and warning algorithms such as Adaptive Cruise Control(ACC), stop and go systems, and collision warning systems. For acceleration and deceleration situations which only need throttle movements, a vehicle longitudinal spacing control algorithm has been tested on the test bed. The spacing control algorithm has been designed based on sliding mode control and road grade estimation scheme which utilizes the vehicle engine torque map and gear shift information.

LDPC Decoding by Failed Check Nodes for Serial Concatenated Code

  • The use of serial concatenated codes is an effective technique for alleviating the error floor phenomenon of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes. An enhanced sum-product algorithm (SPA) for LDPC codes, which is suitable for serial concatenated codes, is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm minimizes the number of errors by using the failed check nodes (FCNs) in LDPC decoding. Hence, the error-correcting capability of the serial concatenated code can be improved. The number of FCNs is simply obtained by the syndrome test, which is performed during the SPA. Hence, the decoding procedure of the proposed algorithm is similar to that of the conventional algorithm. The error performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed and compared with that of the conventional algorithm. As a result, a gain of 1.4 dB can be obtained by the proposed algorithm at a bit error rate of $10^{-8}$. In addition, the error performance of the proposed algorithm with just 30 iterations is shown to be superior to that of the conventional algorithm with 100 iterations.

  • Vibration test using the MAST(Multi Axial Simulation Table) is more reliable test than conventional testing process focused on one directional vibration test. The former test could be possible with a advanced control algorithm and hardware supports so that most of the operation is automatically conducted by MAST system itself except the input information that is derived from the measured data. That means the reliability of the vibration test is highly depended on the input profile than any other cases before. In this paper, the optimal algorithm based on energy method is introduced so that the best combination of candidated input PSD data could be constructed. The optimal algorithm renders time information so that the vibration fatigue test is completely possible for any measured signals one wants. The real road test is conducted in short intervals containing some rough roads and the candidated input PSD is obtained from the extra road in proving ground. The testing is targeted for the electronically operated door and seat.

  • This paper presents the dynamic parameter design optimization of a suspension seat system using the genetic algorithm. At first, an equivalent 1-D.O.F. mass-spring-damper model of a suspension seat system was constructed for the purpose of its vibration analysis. Vertical vibration response and transmissibility of the equivalent model due to base excitations, which are defined in the ISO's seat vibration test codes, were computed. Furthermore, seat vibration test, that is ISO's damping test, was carried out in order to investigate the validity of the equivalent suspension seat model. Both analytical and experimental results showed good agreement each other. For the design optimization, the acceleration transmissibility of the suspension seat model was adopted as an object function. A simple genetic algorithm was used to search the optimum values of the design variables, suspension stiffness and damping coefficient. Finally, vibration ride performance test results showed that the optimum suspension parameters gives the lowest vibration transmissibility. Accordingly the genetic algorithm and the equivalent suspension seat modelling can be successfully adopted in the vibration ride quality optimization of a suspension seat system.

  • This paper introduce a new test generation method based on built-in data base which is suitable for generating of test set by using PROLOG language. The program presented in this paper deals with all the information required for fault detection from the rules describing output signals and internal signals. Example shows the validity of proposed PROLOG program which results in a effective generation of test set comparable to the conventional D-algorithm.

  • An Over Current Relayng algorithm using 80c196kc micro processor was realized in this paper. This OCR Algorithm was verified with simulated fault signal. The fault signal was made by EMTP and realized by DOBLE to compare H/W test with S/W test. This simulations showed similar result between H/W and S/W test.
