소설에 나타난 한국 주택의 생리위생공간과 관련용어의 변화 연구 (A Study on the Transition and the Terminology of Sanitary Spaces in Korean Houses Based on the Analysis of Novels)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the transition and terminology of sanitary spaces in Korean houses, based on the analysis of novels. The resets are as follows. The sanitary space huts been developed in all aspects including locations and facility levels. Duikan, Pyunso, Tongsi, Whajangsil, and Yoksil were the terminology of sanitary space that appeared often in the novels. Before 1930, the word most frequently mentioned was Duikan. Whajangsil and Yoksil appeared shortly between 1930-1750. Duikan, Pyunso, and Tongsi were presented again between 1950-1970. Whajangsil and Yoksil were substituted for most other words after 1980. Other than the usual function of sanitary space, these areas also used as hiding spaces and places where one could observe others secretly. The sanitary spaces in most novels were located behind kitchens, nearby fences or stables and were typically unpleasant places with a messy dung tub, no lighting system, and a shed-like construction.

Comparative Analysis of Terminology and Classification Related to Risk Management of Radiotherapy

  • We analyzed the terminology and classification related to the risk management of radiation treatment overseas to establish the terminology and classification system for Korea. This study investigated the terminology and classification for radiotherapy risk management through overseas research materials from related organizations and associations, including the IAEA, WHO, British group, EC, and AAPM. Overseas risk management commonly uses the terms "near miss", "incident", and "adverse event", classified according to the degree of severity. However, several organizations have ambiguous terminologies. They use the term "near miss" for events such as a near event, close call, and good catch; the term "incident" for an event; and the term "adverse event" for the likes of an accident and an event. In addition, different organizations use different classifications: a "near miss" is generally classified as "incident" in most cases but not classified as such in BIR et al. Confusion might also be caused by the disunity of the terminology and classification, and by the ambiguity of definitions. Patient safety management of medical institutions in Korea uses the terms "near miss", "adverse event", and "sentinel event", which it classifies into eight levels according to the severity of risk to the patient. Therefore, the terminology and classification for radiotherapy risk management based on the patient safety management of medical institutions in Korea will help in improving the safety and quality of radiotherapy.

A Study on the Terminological Heterogeneity in Chemistry between South and North Korea

  • Since the division of South and North Korea in 1945, there has been little exchange in science and technology, despite some interchange in a few fields including the chemistry area. Accordingly, the difference in scientific and technological terminology between the two Koreas has become intensified. This is because North Korea carried out a campaign to purify the Korean language and blocked the inflow of foreign words. They also tried to convert into their own North Korean terms in many fields. This circumstance in North Korea aggravated the heterogeneity of inter-Korean scientific and technological terms. In particular, the heterogeneity of chemical terminology has worsened due to the different characteristics of the technology donor countries such as the United States and Japan in South Korea, and China and the Soviet Union in North Korea between the two Koreas and the different way of technological development. The purpose of this study is to collect chemical terminology data used in two Koreas and analyze similarities and differences. Through comparative analysis of inter-Korean terminology in the chemical field, it can be possible to recognize how the chemical terms between the two Koreas have changed since the division and the degree of heterogeneity based on different technical systems and language policies. The outcome of this study would present basic data on the unification of chemical terminology in preparation for before and after unification, and contribute to communication and academic exchange between researchers in the inter-Korean scientific and technological fields, including chemistry.

미분법 단원에서 용어의 문제 (A Study on the Problem of Terminology in Calculus)

  • This article intends to review what problems the terms in calculus have and how those problems are caused. For this purpose We make examinations on the considerations in the analysis of mathematical terminology, which includes the problems of general and technical terms, the meaning and the boundary of words, their consistency, the name and meaning, concept and their concept images, translations and qwerty effects. And in chapter 3, We analyse the textbook which are currently used, through which I was able to find out that the terms in calculus have some problems, In other words, the key terms such as "differentiable", "differential coefficient", "differential" have their roots in the term "differential" but the term "derived function" is very distinct from other terms and thus obstructs the consistency of terms. And the central term "differential" is being used without clear definition. In particular, the fact that "differential", when used in its arbitrary definition, has the image of "splitting minutely" can be an obstacle to understanding the exact concepts of calculus. In chapter 4, We make a review on the history of calculus and the term "differential" currently used in modern mathematics so that I can identify the origin of the problem connected with the usage of the term "differential". We should recognize the specified problems and its causes and keep their instructional implications in mind.   • Generally, there is confusion as to what constitutes TQM, though it can be regarded as a set of concepts and tools for getting all employees focused on continuous improvement, various schools of thought have defined or classified the critical success factors as constructs, concepts and principles. Therefore the main aim of this paper is to provide a practical approach for understanding the quality management terminology. Using the existing quality management measurement instruments available in literature, the terminology used is classified into constructs, practices and finally tools or techniques. Quality Management may then be viewed as a combination of the three sets of terminology. Drawing on the quantitative study which investigated the implementation of TQM within the SME, the critical factors of TQM as used in that study as used to demonstrate the practical approach or methodology for the understanding of the terms thus used. For the benefit of practitioners within the Construction Management field, a bit of clarity is required as regards the terminology used. This study contributes to clarifying the conflicting results being reported in the quality management literature which inevitably leads to having different levels of analysis of Quality Management. Accordingly, the strength of quality management compared with other business philosophies should then focus on the practical methodology, namely the practices and techniques.

전문용어 정제를 위한 형태소 분석을 이용한 한의학 증상 진단 시스템 개발 (The Development of the Korean Medicine Symptom Diagnosis System Using Morphological Analysis to Refine Difficult Medical Terminology)

  • 증상 진단 시스템이라 함은 환자가 자신의 증상을 설명하고, 한의사가 증상에 맞는 질병 진단을 내리는 것을 말한다. 증상 진단 시스템을 자동화하기 위해서는 환자의 자연어로 이루어진 증상 설명에 대한 분석이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 증상 설명에 대하여 형태소 분석을 수행하고 한의학 병증 데이터와 비교하여 적합한 진단을 내리도록 증상 진단 시스템을 개발하였다. 증상 진단 검색의 효율을 높이기 위해서 Document형 NoSQL인 MongoDB를 이용하여 각각의 병증 데이터를 하나의 도큐먼트로 하고, 그 안의 필드값을 유연하게 관리할 수 있도록 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 또한, 진단의 근거가 되는 한의사의 병증 설명과 환자의 증상 설명에서 사용되는 용어의 차이를 줄일 수 있도록 환자의 증상 설명을 축적하고 정제하여 일반인에게 친숙한 단어로 구성된 설명데이터를 제공할 수 있게 하였다.

전문용어 인식 시스템을 위한 분산 병렬 처리 플랫폼 최적화 및 성능평가 (Optimization and Performance Analysis of Distributed Parallel Processing Platform for Terminology Recognition System)

  • 과학기술 문헌의 전문용어 인식 분야는 지금까지 다양한 통계적 방법론을 사용하여 용어 인식 정확률을 향상시키기 위하여 연구되어 왔다. 하지만 기존의 연구는 단일-코어 또는 단일 머신 상에서 수행되었기 때문에, 폭발적으로 증가하는 문헌들에 대한 실시간 분석 요구를 처리할 수 없는 상황에 직면하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전문용어를 인식하는 과정에서 병목현상이 발생하는 작업을 '후보용어 추출 과정'의 언어처리부분과 '용어 가중치 할당 과정'에서 통계정보를 취합하는 부분으로 분류하고, 각 작업을 분산병렬 처리 기반의 맵리듀스 작업을 이용하여 해결하는 전문용어 인식 방법을 구현하고 실험하였다. 실험은 확장성과 분산 병렬 처리 환경 최적화 두 가지로 수행하였고, 첫 번째 실험에서 12개의 노드를 사용하여 분산 병렬 처리하였을 때 단일 머신을 사용한 경우보다 11.27배의 처리속도 향상을 보였다. 두 번째 실험에서 1)기본 환경, 2)복수 리듀서, 3)컴바이너, 4) 2)와 3)의 조합에 대하여 수행하였고, 3)컴바이너 사용이 가장 우수한 성능을 보여 주었다. 본 논문에서 구현된 전문용어 인식 시스템은 대용량 과학기술 문헌에 대한 지식 추출 작업속도 개선에 기여하였다.

  • There are many statistical information sites as the use of internet is increased quickly in recent years. In this paper, we explore and analyze internet sites for statistical information such as statistical survey system, education, database, and terminology. And then we classify these sites to apply statistical information to some particular spheres easily. In so doing, this study result aims at enhancing our understanding of internet sites for statistical information.

GIS 용어 표준화과정에 대한 고찰 (Control Procedures of Standardization for GIS Terminology)

  • 본 연구는 한국 95용어 표준을 구축하기 위한 기초를 마련하기 위해 국제표준기관인 ISO의 지리정보기술 위원회(TC211)에 제시된 용어표준화 과정과 국내 정보산업 표준화 과정을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 ISO/TC211에서 제시되는 문서들을 수집하여 용어 표준화 과정 및 최근까지 구축된 지리정보 용어의 표준안을 참조하였다. 특히 다양한GIS표준화 기구에서 수행되고 있는 국제 GIS용어표준안을 비교 분석하여 실제적 흑은 잠재적인 문제들에 대하여 주어진 상황에서 최선의 질서를 이루기 위해 공통적이거나 혹은 반복적으로 적용될 수 있는 규정을 제정하는데 도움을 주려한다. 국제적으로 GIS의 용어표준화 과정은 제안단계를 거쳐 준비단계에서 작업초안(WD:Working Draft)을 작성하는 단계에 머무르고 있다. 반면에 우리나라에서 정보산업 분야의 국제표준 제정작업은 정보산업의 경쟁력을 획기적으로 향상시키기 위해 추진하는 국책과제로서, 통상산업부가 추진하는 산업기술 기반조성사업의 일환으로 추진되고 있다. 우리나라에서 적극적으로 용어표준화과정에 참여할 경우 우리나라 상황에 적합한 용어표준으로 국제표준화를 선도할 수 있다고 생각된다. 따라서 현재 국제표준화기구에서 추진되고 있는 용어 표준화추세를 정확하게 파악한다면, 한국의 ISO/TC211ㆍ지리정보기술위원회의 용어 표준 작업반에서 국내의 업계 및 관련기관의 의견을 수렴한 GIS용KS(안)을 개발하는데 매우 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 생각된다.

Recent Research Analysis in Acupotomy

  • Between May 2014 and April 2022, a total of 926 articles were retrieved from the international database, and a total of 233 articles were retrieved from the Korean database. From there, 14 studies were selected, and evaluated by the published year, terminology of the acupotomy, sample size, disease type, retention time, treatment sites, insertion depth and size of the acupotomy, treatment frequency, and duration, type of acupotomy manipulation method, evaluation index, therapeutic effects, adverse effects, and assessment of the risk of bias in randomized controlled trials. This study examined the need for additional acupotomy studies to secure an objective basis for the application of clinical treatment. Furthermore, the detailed description of the study methods and results and unified terminology can provide evidence for the efficacy of acupotomy.
